Change width of FC datalist in FB?

I have a datalist component generated by FC, opened FXP in Flash Builder.
I have 2 instances of it in the app.
I'd like to make ONE instance wider. Which of the various component part control the width overall?
And will it resize the PNG file it made for the background?

Well, they aren't MY components, they are FC-generated components. When I
make my own components I have the option, but I wish there was a way within
FC to specify (or not specify) absolute sizes/positions. Sort of how you
can do this in Apple's Interface Builder.
For example, I created a nice repeating item in FC. But if my list item has
more or less text than the one I used as an example in FC, I am hosed.
Also, since FC used absolute positioning for EVERYTHING, if I need to add or
remove items once in FB, I have to keep track of and move many objects.
So, being primarily a Flex developer, I have taken to removing all the code
FC made and creating my own container elements, such as VGroup and HGroup,
to allow for cleaner (as in easier to read) and easier-to-update MXML code.
It would be nice, in FC, to have settable constraints on objects similar to
the Appearance pane in Flex. Also, the option to "group" items and treat
said groups as a Spark Group, VGroup, or HGroup (and/or other containers).

Can we change width of the column at runtime

I have a report with columns assigned runtime, can we change width of the colimn runtime?
for example Query: select &lp_1, &lp_2 from emp &LP_Where
if i assign lp_1 empno size 10 and empname size 50. Vertical and horizantal elasticty is not going work for me. Any suggestions please..

Doubt there is the dynamic you are seeking.
But you may put a few overlapped columns (diff. length of course) and display/hide by passing parameters.

I have problem with change width columns in web. I can change width column in paper layout and is ok but If I run web layout I get one column very wide and second thin. I cant find where I may this change
I find that is no easy. If you want change property in web layout you must edit JSP file, and you must know Java/JSP/HTML, and library reposrts JSP custom tag and reports xhtml tags.

Change width of fonts

I just learned how to change size of fonts. But, how can I change "width" of fonts in java?
Please help......;)

What you done is not changing the size, but create a new font with a new size. the width can't be change in a font and you can't create a new font with specifying a new width.

I want to change width of all table so that sub-control-bar gets affected too. I've learned that there's no way to define it that way:

and then change width of sub-control-bar component to the same amount it doesn't look the same...

Why the last column change width automaticlly?

a datagrid has 3 columns,
set horizontalScrollPolicy="auto"
I stretch first or second column, the third(last) column will
change width automaticlly. If I wanna fix the width of last column,

I don't think there is way to do this. This seems to be
hard-coded -- thru a private function called calculateColumnSizes()
-- in the DataGrid class.
So you're essentially out of luck! Unless, of course, you
decide to subclass the DataGrid class, override updateDisplayList
method and provide your own implementation of calcualte column
size!
Or maybe, logging a change request for Flex team.

im using a splitter container (abap oo style without dnpro elements) with 2 single containers.
create object go_splitter
    exporting
      parent            = go_docking
      rows              = 1
      columns         = 2
Column 1 leftside = Tree (width = 100)
Column 2 rightside = ALV (width = 100)
Ratio = 50:50
Is it possible to change width to ratio 30:70
Example:
Column 1 leftside = Tree (width = 30)
Column 2 rightside = ALV (width = 170)
Ratio: 30:70

Change width of fields displayed on PDF from ALV

I have a requirement in which i have to print an alv report in a pdf , now in the report say there are 11 fields of which 5 are hidden , so when i print the report in pdf , in the pdf output the entire width of the page is not occupied but only the width of the displayed fields
for eg. The 6 fields being displayed will cover only a part of the page..however i want the fields to occupy the entire page depending on the fields that are displayed .. plz advice how i can achieve this..

Change width of line in 2d line chart

I have created a 2d line chart, and Numbers draws blue lines connecting my datapoints. I would like to change the width of these connecting lines, but can't seem to find anywhere to do so. The only formatting option that seems to affect these lines at all is the "Connection Lines" setting, to set them straight or curved. Can you change the thickness of this line somewhere? Can you change the color?
Clicking on the line itself only selects the data points, like this:
There are no options here for styling the line's width or color.

As soon as I posted this, I discovered the solution. While selecting the data points, you need to select the "Style" tab under the Format sidebar, like so:
Then you can style the connecting lines however you like.

How to change width of table maintenance screen in sm30

Hi,
I want to change the width of table maintenance screen in sm30 of a view. I am trying to change it through screen painter.
But its giving me error - screen or window limit reached. I want to increase the widht to show all the fields at once.
Is there any way for this?
Also, earlier in table maintenance generator of view, there was one step selected. I changed it to two steps and re-generated the TMG. But again Its showing only one screen in sm30.
Kindly tell me which step I have missed out.
