Changed content not publishing; button not highlighted

Hi there,
I just upgraded to an iMac. Transferred iWeb domain successfully from laptop. Set up forwarding to my domain name since computer move and have not had any changes successfully update. Register.com says it's not on their end. My publish arrow button at the bottom of iWeb is not highlighted at all. My entries don't show up editable but all my changed content shows in iWeb application. It does not forward from "visit now" properly, only when I manually type in and also changes are not showing on the site. Also, site is supposed to not have www and mobile me tries to forward it to www. What the heck? I have manually published the entire site 50 times from the nav bar and no success. Should I undo the forwarding? It seems all problems started then.

Okay, I tried updating the website and publishing it from my laptop and that worked. I don't know why I am unable to visit from my site, but that's ok. I'm more concerned with changes. So the problem is with my new computer. How do I get the changes that are showing in iWeb on iMac to work?

Renamed menu item not changed when site published.

I changed the name of my site welcome page back to Welcome (it was "Readings"). But when I publish, "Readings" is still the menu name even though I have used ftp to completely deleted all the published files. So somehow iWeb is keeping the old name. How do I get iWeb to smarten up???

I've run through your suggestions, results as follows....!
Erasing the Safari cache generally does not work: changes are not displayed on the published site.
Publishing the entire site to a folder produces the correct content.
Even if I empty the cache and use FTP to delete the server copy of the site ... the changes do not propagate to the server!!!
What seems to work most often is powering down my Mac.

IPod not highlighted in iTunes for content editing

I've got a Mac G4 using an OSX version 10.2.8 operating system. I just got a Nano iPod and am unable to transfer files to it. I've downloaded the most current available iPod drive and updates but after plugging it in, the iPod icon appears momentarily on my desktop and then disappears as my iTunes window opens. The iPod and its contents are visible as an option in iTunes but not highlighted for editing--what's the deal, Neill?

The songs are "greyed out" because you have the iPod set to transfer songs automatically. If you want the songs to be bold and selectable/editable, then you need to change to manually managing your songs.
Please not that by editing/changing the songs on your iPod in this manner, the changes will not affect the songs in iTunes, only on your iPod.

Exactly my case, too. Unfortunately no response at all - the only thing I can find on the web are discussions that your ear might touch the MUTE button - but it is definitively not the case. As Susan writes, the mute button is not highlighted, pressing it does not change anything.

The add annotations field shows as not allowed in the security options. So how do I send this form back with the changes??

I think you you need to click 'save' first, then it is saved to acrobat, where it will prompt to send.

Re-publish site using 3rd party FTP Client-Changes are not visible

I uploaded my Iweb site to the server using FileZilla. When I make changes in I-web and republish, the changes are not visible. I even tested it out by deleting the site folder and re-uploading everything after I re-published the site in IWeb...but the change still isn't visible. Any suggestions as to why?

Apparently you publish to a folder.
iWeb's job is done!
What you do next with the files is your responsibility.
Try uploading the changed files to their respective folders on the server.
You can identify the changed files by the date/time.
Then in the browser, clear the cache and reload the page.
iWeb is not involved.

How can I close a tab when the close button is not highlighted?

Enabling "Save This View" button - change does not stick

Running SharePoint 2013 Server Standard
I have several sites. For some the "Save This View" choice when filtering a view is enabled. However, there are some for which the choice does not display.
I located the setting for this in Editing the Page, Miscellaneous options for which the check button is "Disable 'Save This View'" button. I uncheck the box, hit Apply or OK. No errors. However, the change does not get executed.
I have admin rights to do anything.
Please advise as to other settings that may be overriding this.
Any ideas? Seems to be a bug.

yup! i m new to itunes! and now as i installed it, the itunes store opened, when i went to create a id, then i a page appeared, then when i clicked "continue" to create a apple i D , a agreement page appeared, then when i go to click the agree button.. the agreement button is not highlighted! it looks like this " AGREE" so i cant click the button ! but the "back" & Cancel" is high lighted! so?? what can i do?? plz!!!

There is a check mark that you have to click on that says "I have read and agree to these terms and conditions". Click that check mark, and the agree button will be available.

Highlighting changes does not work with rulebased workflow

Hi Experts,
When we run the standard change requests provided with MDG 7 FP 2 we can see changes highlighted in colour but when we copy the same change request and make it a rule-based workflow we lose the functionality in the new change request.
Is there something else we need to do to have the same functionality for Rule based workflow?

Yes.I am copying the standard change request that is working with highlighting the changes and then I change the copied workflow to the rule based workflow.
The standard Change requests are highlighting the changes.
I am using MDGF 7 with FP 2.
We upgraded from MDG 6.1 to MDG 7 FP 2 and I am not convinced that the old UI was completely replaced when I run report RGZZGLUX before I opened the firs change request.
I have the new UI in my change requests but the highlighting function is not working , even if I create a new CR from the Standard CR's now.

Can not install DVDSP4 never get the upgrade button to highlight

I was having problems with DVDSP4 so I decided to reinstall it. I trashed the DVDSP4 App emptied the trash inserted the FCS 5 install disk and the "upgrade" button does not highlight so that I can install the DVDSP app or anything else. Whats up? Now my problem is really bad. No DVDSP4 at all.

Make sure to remove receipts for the prior installation from your computer found in Library->Receipts for the application(s) (this is mani library, not at user level)

I figured out if I took the http:// off the front of the URL, the "ok" button would highlight, but then link did not work. I tried just linking www.google.com to the image and the link did not work either. What gives?!
