Please tell where can i check the changes made in Invoice doc.(MIRO)? or table where I can see the details for changes made in MIRO.

Hi,
In the display Invoice transaction, select Goto --> Display Change document. System will show you all the changes made to the Invoice.

  • Invoice documents: mass output re-determination

    Hello
    I have the following problem:
    I defined a new output type for SD invoices (SPRO -> SD -> ... -> Maintain Output Determination for Billing Documents).
    Say the new output type is meant for printing or archiving (not important).
    Next I defined some appropriate conditions for output determination - in transactions VV31 / VV32.
    From now on the new output type is applied for all invoices with matching conditions - during creating or changing an invoice document.
    So far so good but the problem is:
    I have a few thousand of SD invoice documents already existing in the system before the new output type was configured - and I want this new output type to be assigned to those existing invoices.
    How can I do it without the need of running transaction VF02 for each of these documents manually ?
    Is running VF02 in batch input the only way ?
    Or is there any standard program which can perform mass re-determination of output messages for existing invoices ?

    The problem is not creating the proper configuration for output determination, like access sequence, filling condition tables with appropriate records and so on.
    I have all this already done and suppose it functions properly when creating new documents (VF01) or editing existing manually (VF02).
    When the document is being saved (VF01 / VF02) the system performs the output determination procedure and the determined output messages types are saved within the document data.
    The problem is how to make the system perform the same determination procedure again for some already existing documents without having to run transaction VF02 for all of them.

    Hi Experts,
    My requirement is to change the PO number  in an Invoice Document. The Document Status (RBSTAT ) is 3. I tried with 'BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CHANGE' but  its not working instead showing a message 'Further processing of document not possible (Faulty status)'.
    I guess this BAPI works for only invoices with status  A, B, C, D or E. Please suggest me how to solve this.

    You don't need to as Breakpoint mentioned.  The values are determined by the data you pass to the function module - if you need a different value in your 6.0 system than you have in your 4.6C system, then you need to adapt your call accordingly, e.g., blocking or closing any open items that you no longer need and thus setting the status to 'C' in one of the VBUK/VBUP fields.

    Client is asking to have both MM invoice document number and FI document number to be same, what will the impact of this change since we have done many transactions already in production.

    We can align both the FI and MM document number ranges in sync
    SAP gives you customizing options to make both document numbers the same. The solution lies in the number range assignment of the MM and FI document. You need to configure the MM document number assignment as internal and external for the FI documents. (FI documents are set up with external-assigned numbering, while the MM document has internal, or system-generated, numbering.) In this case, the MM document number is passed on to the FI document, which means that the number of the FI document is identical to the MM document. .
    Because the document number assignment in MM is not company code-specific, in contrast to the FI document, you need to take the following points into consideration before using external document number assignments for FI documents. They have the following effects on your system:
    u2022     Continuous number assignments for FI documents are not guaranteed, especially if you have more than one company code.
    u2022     The document number ranges in MM and FI have to be the same for all company codes.
    u2022     In Release 4.6C, you need to use internal number assignments for revaluation documents, invoice reduction documents, Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS) postings, or reversal documents. There are no restrictions as of SAP Enterprise 4.70.
    u2022     Use a different number range assignment for FI invoice posting (FB60), because FI invoice postings usually use internal number range assignments and the postings originate in FI, not MM.
    u2022     If you use document parking and the number range intervals are fiscal year-dependent, you cannot change the posting date of the document if the fiscal year is different to that determined for the previous posting date. In this case you have to delete the document and re-enter it. There are no restrictions for fiscal year-independent number ranges.

    AND ASSIGN THE NUMBER RANGES TO DOCUMENT TYPE RE.

    AND ASSIGN THE SAME FOR DOCUMENT TYPE RD.

  • Changing Invoice document date

    Hi All,
    There is an invoice document which is posted on 27.01.2009 and has an incorrect document date ( 20.01.0009).
    Is there a way we can change the document date? i tried looking for SAP Note but was unable to find any..

    nevertheless the System allows You to insert:
    BKPF-BLDAT            Document Date
    BKPF-BUDAT            Posting Date
    into table v_tbaer by sm31,
    then You will never be able to change these datas for data consistency by FB02.
    You have to reverse the wrong document and post it again.
    I'd suggest for the future to build up an FI validation to control these dates in order to avoid the user to do the error again.

    You want to change the doucment type after you have posted the document, you can do so, by following config
    IMG . Financial aaccounting > Financial aaccounting basic setting > Document > Rules for changing document > Document change rules document header.
    If you are posting through FB60, you can go to EDITING OPTION once you are in FB60 screen. And under Document type option, select Entry with short name

  • Change the value of Country of Origin in Invoice document

    Hi All,
    The Country of Origin in billing document is copied from batch, now there is a requirement to change the COO in the invoice document. Can anyone please guide me how to update the Country of Origin in Billing document(Foreign Trade Data).
    I can update before it is released to accounting, but after released to accounting the field is grayed out.(EIPO-HERKL)

    Hi,
    The country of origin field is transferred to the delivery header and from there to billing header. This field is available in the material master foreign trade tab and not from the batch master for the material batch.
    You can change this country of origin in the material master data

    we`ve created an invoice document with wrong partner data. Because of that I`ve to change the partner position details...
    Is there a way to change data afterwards by changing parameters in the customizing or is abap the only way to modify the partner table (VBPA)?

    In billing manually you cant change  the partner function .In billing document  manually you can change the  output type , billing date and acount assignment grp of the customer. But you cant change the partner function . So the best solution is to reverse the billing document and cancel the delivery picking qty and in sales order manually you can change the customer. then you can change the partner function.Then you can do delivery and billing.

    Hi gurus,
    This is regarding the price difference of the latest invoice document price with respect to the price of last time the document was invoiced.Without using the customer exit or back-end developement. need info if this can be done on the front-end using the front-end tool bex designer using the CKF, RKF , Variables or conditions etc
    say for instance the user wants to get the price differences with respect to the invoices for a certain period that is from 01/01/2008 to 06/30/2008( dynamic entry can be any range).
    Once the user enters the range for the billing document date as 01/01/2008 to 06/30/2008 the query should return the report as
    Sold-to(customer) Material, Bill doc date and the price difference. these are the four columns  the users needs in the report.
    now the bill-doc date will the latest invoice date for the sold-to & material, but the price difference will be the price of the last invoice date(for the sold-to , material)  - the latest invoice date price.
    Example. between 01/101/2008 - 06/30/2008
    customer : 2765 , material : XAWE33636FD this particular customer-product had 3 invoices on 02/15/2008 , 04/18/2008 and 06/03/2008.
    price on 02/15/2008 : $1.09
    price on 04/18/2008: $1.87
    price on 06/03/2008: $3.84
    so the report should look like
    customer        material                bill doc date       price diff
    2765            XAWE33636FD        06/03/2008           3.84- 1.87( latest invoice price - last invoice price)

    Hi,
    I think you will need at least some backend devlopment for this first and foremost being mapping the invoice date from souce to the Bill date.
    Getting price difference is not an issue as much as tracking dates. I think you will need a counter to track the last invoice date which really needs ABAP coding
    An exit would be much easier to have this functionality rather than to create RKF's and CKF's
    I will update you in case any better idea strikes.

    We are in to contract for 12 years with our client for a particular service,so we will raise a contract order for a particular item,with this we generate the order number,here we are generating some 150 orders numbers,this 150 order number I want to combine in to one single invoice document number,I have tried this in vf01 I am giving the all 150 document numbers,and excuting this but here for each sales order document number it is creating one billing document number,but I need one single invoice number for all this order numbers.

    In VTFA, please do the following changes,and then test by creating the sales orders then do collective billing.
    Keep Assignment number blank
    Keep Reference number blank
    Copy item number- Uncheck the box where tick box was selected
    Also make sure that PO Number in sales order is same

  • Address data changed after invoice is created

    Hi,
    I've a problem to solve and it's related with data changed after invoice is created.
    The scenario is the follow:
    1º - create a complete and standard sales process - order => delivery => invoice, with the standard partner scheme and without edit the address data, for any kind of partner
    2ª after the invoice is created, I change the address data on Client Master Data, for the same client that I've used on previous process
    3º I'll go to the VF03 transaction and take a look at the partner data on header level. Here I can see that the changes on the Client Master Data ar updated to the invoice document wich is already created and printed when I maked the changes
    I think that could be a program error because, once the documento is created, you only can change texts and accounts if this document is not yet created.
    And, I can't edit this kind of data on invoice creation because it must be done at order level.
    So I don't understand why it happen, but it happen on more than one client.
    I'll hope that anyone can help me to solve this issue.

    Hi Nuno,
    the adresses of all Clients are stored in table adrc. If there are no changes in the order, the system takes the standard adress of the client. That is made for not having an extra adress for each order.
    If you change the adress - the system will create a new adressnumber ( 999........ - see in VBPA ).
    If you have different adressnumbers in your orders, you are not able th collect several orders into one delivery note - for the adressnumber ist normally a split-criteria.
    Ich you will have an extra Adress for each Order, change the adress - for example by an user exit.
    But if you have different adressnumbers - the delivery and the invoice will split the different orders - if you dont do something against in an user-exit.

  • Error in parked invoice document - Error in routine MRM-DRSEG_CR_CREATE

    Hi...
    I have parked a invoice document against a Service entry sheet. The invoice document has been parked but when going to MIR4 in change mode system is throwing an error message pop as Error in routine MRM-DRSEG_CR_CREATE.
    The SES which has been created is of some quantities and values but the material document which is posted against this SES is different from SES received quantities.
    Received Quantity in SES is 210 but the received quantity in material document it is not showing anything.
    For the same when invoice has been done, invoice has been parked but when gone through workflow in other level this error is coming
    Please give your suggestions why is this issue coming...

    Hi,
       Please check whether the SES has been deleted or any subsequent changes has been done in the SES or PO. If so system may throw the mentioned error.
       Also refer the note:  501905 - MIR4: M8 008 for documents that are on hold or parked
       If you are in ECC 5 or lower, you may refer the notes:   750455 - MIR4/MR8M: M8 008 routine MRM_DRSEG_CR_CREATE  and 763293 - Service entry sheet + parked invoice

    I am trying to cancel Invoice document(Credit Memo) through MR8M transaction. While processing, system is issuing error message (M8 534) as Balance not Zero: & debits : & Credits. But being its saying in initial screen of MR8M, i dont know where to change the amount.
    Please help me out to cancel credit memo. Thanks in advance..

    Other way around to cancel an invoice is to issue credit memo, In MIRO click credit memo, then date, then reference to PO, put in the amount then hit post, your invoice will be cancelled by issuing credit memo
    MR8M also issues credit memo, by cancelling the invoice, and so does MIRO when you create credit memo against PO, the invoice is reversed

    Wrong module. DMS is not designed for invoices. DMS is designed for documents that change and need versioning.
    ArchiveLink is the correct solution/module. This allows you to link incoming invoices directly to the object in SAP in MIRO and FB60.
    If its outgoing invoices, you can link them to sales orders. The document is stored in the GOS (generic object services) area of SAP and will appear in the attachment list. If you go to GOS you will see an option called "Store Business Document" which will be made available when you have configured this properly.
    There is no easy way to customise. You have to install a content server (See SAP HTTP content server) and then configure the document type and which object it will be linked to. You also have to configure the method of processing. I.e. early archiving, late archiving.
    It is possible to set this up using no external software except the SAP HTTP content server which is free with your SAP licensing.
