Changing from Creative Cloud to standalone

I installed Lightroom through the Creative cloud trial. My trial has expired now, and I am now prompted to make payment to continue using Lightroom.
However, I prefer to purchase it as a standalone rather than pay on a monthly basis. If I were to make payment, will I need to re-download and reinstall Lightroom again? I do not have fast internet connection for this period of time, and it would be best if I can make payment and continue using on my current lightroom installed.

As far as I know a perpetual License key will not be accepted to activate the trial version. You have to uninstall the trial version, this process will not affect your current Catalog File, Preferences or personal files. Then (a). Purchase the Perpetual Version, download, install and activate with the license key or (b) Purchase a Disk version from a third party supplier like Amazon, install and activate with the key supplied with the disk.     I bought a standalone CD for Lightroom 5 a while back and downloaded it onto my computer, then got a new computer. On my new computer, Lightroom somehow ended up as Creative Cloud, and it says I have to renew my membership to use the Develop Module. However, I don't want Creative Cloud. Is there a way I can get off of Creative Cloud and just put in the serial number from the CD to reactivate Lightroom without having to redownload it and lose all of my photos?

    You have to download the standalone LR 5 from Product updates
    Install it, put in your serial number and you're ready to go. You will not lose any of your photos.
    You will have to cancel your CC subscription.

    As mentioned by you, you need to cancel the present CC & purchase the single app. The cancellation fee can be waived off for such instances.

    If you have subscribed to the creative cloud photography plan then Lightroom is included as part of that plan. You can install it from the creative cloud desktop manager.

    If you are unable to locate a specific application then it is likely the computer you are using does not meet the current system requirements.  In the following example you can see that After Effects and Premiere Pro are missing from the list of available applications.
    When I look at the System information for my Windows installation I am informed that I have a 32-bit version of Windows 8.

    I have a lot of problems. First og all the system will not accept my account and even I have downloaded CPLauncher and can see the software, I will not genereate password. Nothing works, and if do not, I have to stop paying, because my boss are a little angry.
    He says: We pay and it do not work. Find other software. We can’t afford you sitting doing nothing. If Adobe makes such a software that causes us trouble, we will change to something else, we do not need Aobe for our projects.
    So Jeff – The software are very complicated, it can run, It can’t genereate license,  and on top of all this, I have to defend Adobe. Well – I will not. I have been fighting in 3 weeks and this week is the last. Monday morning I will stop using Adobe coud and stop my membership.

    I too am getting this same error when I attempt to install Adobe Edge Animate from the Creative Cloud. I am running Mac OS X (10.8.2) and all of my software is current and up-to-date. I have followed the instructions provided in the error above which says to uninstall the previous Edge Preview and restart the machine. Edge has been removed from my machine (and I can find no traces of it) and I have restarted and I am still receiving this error.
