Changing MAXSIZE value for a data file.

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to change the MAXSIZE value for a data file from UNLIMITED to a specified value, like 4M.

Change PaymentAmountText value in XML Data file of Format Payment Instructr

How to change the value of PaymentAmountText in XML file generated during of IBY_FD_PAYMENT_FORMAT module: Format Payment Instructions?? This XML Data file is being used by the Check Print rtf template.
The checks will be used for a Singapore$ (S$) Bank account and USD$ Bank account.
For the S$ check in XML data file :
<PaymentAmountText>Eighty-Five Dollars And Sixty***********************</PaymentAmountText> for S$85.60
For the USD$ check in XML data file:
<PaymentAmountText>Eighty-Five Dollars And Sixty Cents***********************</PaymentAmountText> for USD$85.60
I have to add 'cents' for the value of the S$ check.
It looks to me that since it shows for USD and not for SGD, that one can change this in some kind of set up issue. But where and how?? Or can I manipulate this value in the rtf template too??

I have solved my problem in following way.
For example, I would like 'POUNDS' instead of 'DOLLARS'. Currently my check reads 1000 Dollars and 50 cents. It should read 1000 Pounds and 50 pennies
You need to change the verbiage in the options field for the payment format. (This is the explanation for GUI users.)
Copy your Format Payment and add some options to it to make the verbiage read Pounds and pennies. Then create a new Payment Format that uses this new Format Payment. Then put this new Payment Format on the Bank Payment Document for the bank account that needs to pay in Irish Pounds.
1. Define a new Payment Program under System Administrator.
Navigate to Concurrent -> Program -> Define
Query up the Evergreen payment program you are using (ex. APXPBFEG).
2. Click on the 'Copy to' button.
Enter a value in the 'Program' field type, for example, "Irish Pounds Program".
Enter a value in the 'Short name' field type, for example, "APXPBIPP".
3. Edit the Options field in the Executable zone (Do not click the 'Parameters' button.) In the 'Options' field, enter the following 4 options on one line with one blank space between each option:
P_UNIT_SINGULAR="Pound"
P_UNIT_PLURAL="Pounds"
P_SUB_UNIT_SINGULAR="penny"
P_SUB_UNIT_PLURAL="pennies"
(For other currencies, replace "Pound" with "Lira", "Peso",etc.)

Changing sampling time for logging data in DSC

currently I created lots of shared variables by Modbus server. I'm wondering when I active logging data to Citadel, there is any option for change sampling time for logging data or not. I only saw option for changing base on percentage of value differences.
Since I want to export them to MS Excel later, I want decrease the number of sample datas by decreasing sampling time.

Storing multipl values for meta data in DOCUMENT_META_DATA

Hi,
We currently have 3 content types in our system: news, announcements, and events.
They are currently stored in 3 different tables. We want to make this content
available via the various CM (select) and PZ tags (contentquery, contentselector).
I'd like to avoid writing my own doc provider (file:///D:/bea7/weblogic700/wlp/docs70/dev/conmgmt.htm#999019)
and instead would like to begin to publish document data directly to the reference
implementation tables (DOCUMENT and DOCUMENT_METADATA).
It seems like I should be able to do that with one exception. It doesn't seem
like we can store multiple values for meta data attributes. If you take the out
of the box p13n example, a lot of the data is tagged with 'genre' = Something
(i.e. Rock, Hip-hop, etc). Then content queries use this genre to personalize
pages.
What if I have a band that has multiple genres? What if I want to tag my band
as Rock and Hip-hop? And then also want that band to appear on both a Rock lovers
and a Hip hop groupies page? Is this possible with the default implementation?
I know when I tried entering multiple 'genre' meta data values for a same document
ID, it gave me a PK constraint violation. Any other trick around this?

Yes Subler http://code.google.com/p/subler/ does support adding the HD tag.
On the Mac I wouldn't use anything but Subler for tagging, best UI, best metadata lookup, best underlying libraries for mp4 files (I'm biased on the libraries part).

Error 100 File contains erroneous data. Normally for user data files.

Hello. We have a LabVIEW program that reads in test steps and data in order to execute a test sequence. Recently we had to apply Retina and Gold Disk security patches in accordance with DOD security policies. Now we are getting the following error:

LabVIEW: File contains erroneous data. Normally for user data files.
We have not changed the code or files that the program is reading in. My guess would be it is some sort of permission issue. However, we have given the user modify permission to the entire C drive, and still get this error. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing it? Thanks!

Do you have any backup copies of the files, by any chance? Is it possible the files were modified somehow (perhaps something extra was added when the new security measures were implemented)?
How is the file being accessed? Is it occurring on the local machine, or are the files accessed from a remote location?

Does anyone know how to change the order for printing pdf files that are part of a portfolio in adobe acrobat 9 pro? The documentation seems to say that it prints files alphabetically by filename rather than by the internal sort order. This won't work for me. Any ideas? Thanks.

Need to rebuild Outlook 2011 for mac identity for exporting data file.

I was exporting outlook for mac data file (to import it into apple mail), and suddenly Outlook email client crashed and when I tried again it said that I need to rebuild the Outlook for mac database using rebuild utility. I took help from some professional technicians but it was a dead end. They said that my outlook for mac database was corrupt and they could not help me any further. I had years of emails in outlook for mac that I needed to move to apple mail as I was fed up of these frequently occuring outlook 2011 errors. Please if anyone could help me in this case then it will be very helpful.

Outlook for mac stores archives its data in .olm format and it originally stores its mails in .OLK format. If everything has failed then you can seek help of a tool that can recover these .olk14 messages. One tool I know that is capable of doing so is http://www.outlookmacdatabaserecovery.com/.
Look for the trial version first and see of it works and recovers you emails.

If you need simple burning, do as Robert said. However, if you need more advanced options, take a look at Roxio Toast 10 Titanium. There is also a Pro HD version if you need more video burning options.

Set Default Value for a Date Navigator

create a value attribute of type date bind to the input field and in wdInit()of view controller write this code..
wdContext.currentContextElement().setValueAttrName(new Date(Calendar.getInstance().getTimeInMillis()));
means ...
u r setting the date entered into some context ....
type of that attribute must be of date and for initial value write the above code ..if it is under node element create nodeelement bind it to context and write the code accordingly..

I need to change dropdown values for a particular field ( Tax code ) in webdynpro component (FITE_VC_RECEIPTS) when selecting expense type. Right now Tax code values are coming with respect to a company code but i need tax code with respect to other company code for two personel numbers .
How can i change dropdown values for this taxcode in webdynpro abap . Please suggest.

In production taxcodes are coming fine but wrong in dev and quality . ( Australian taxcodes are coming in production for dropdown values but new zealand tax codes in dev and quality )

To be able to call a function module in an update work process, you must flag it in the Function Builder. When you create the function module, set the Process Type attribute to Update with immediate start
Alternatively u can use this function module.
CRM_STATUS_DATA_SAVE_DB
BAPI_CUSTOMERCRM_CHANGE (If u wish to use a bapi for this).
Also , Let me know what error you got when implementing other function module.Does the function module didnt return any error but still the value is not changed for pricing condition type?

So far i havent found any way to set todays date by default from MMI, but i guess this flow should work as workaroud
1. Add buisness rule which can set a default value when Date = NULL/Blank
2.get the entity table ,use -select EntityTable from mdm.tblEntity where Name = '<enter entity name>'
3.Go to that table and add a after update trigger like
if uda_<entityid>_<attributeid(Date attribute)> = default value
update uda_<entityid>_<attributeid(Date attribute)> =getdate() where id = <LastUpdatedRow>
I will check on this too from my side.
By the way AFAIK i dont think so calendar control integration is possible .

CL20N Status changed: missing values for required chars for ROH & FERT

Dear Expert,
I am getting this message no. CL500 (Status changed: missing values for required chars) when I try to save variant class (Class type 300) assignment to material master (Raw Material) with Released 1 status in CL20N; but I do not get this message during assignment for FERT. I can save a FERT with Released1 status to a variant class without any system message. I am using configurable material in purchasing and this message is not valid in this case. Is there anywhere I can turn off this message for raw material just like FERT?

Not to my knowledge. It seems it takes a snapshot from about the 10th second of the movie and creates a thumbnail for it. On a Mac the finder thumbnail shows the first frame of a movie, both don't seem to be able in getting customized.
It will be down to a good naming convention I'm afraid. Not having CS4 installed anymore but on Bridge CS6 .mov files play on an reasonable sized scale in good quality in the preview window, maybe that will help you?

Changing macro for master data files

Hi experts!!
we maintain master data(attributes,texts,hierarchy) for one infoobject in a Macro work book.The work book contains many sheets and we maintain data in one sheet and then click on 'do it all ' .....it updates all other sheets and at the same time generates two files....one for attribute and texts....one for hierarchy.....
now my client wanted me to introduce one new level in hierarchy..so I added one more column in the sheet where we maintain data and clicked on 'Do it all'.......its generating two files as usual....in master data(attribute and text) file...data seems to be right...but hierarchy file seems to be wrong....I think I have to change Macro program(I guess) so it includes newly added column...Am I right?
Can any one advise where and how I can do changes so it generates right hierarchy files?(because while I am running hierarchy process chain,its showing error like..'Error in Hierarchy structure')

A company called Inquera has a sample MDM repository available for SAP employees and approved partners. It can be downloaded from their <a href="http://www.inquera.com">web site</a>.
This is only a sample repository. You need to have the MDM components already installed to use it (Console, Server, & Data Manager at a minimum).
