Changing source file for file sender adapter in adapter module

Hi guys!
3rd party partner send us files, which are not acceptable by file adapter, so we need to implement (I suppose) adapter module in file sender adapter to correct the file format before it is taken by standard adapter. I have no experience in this development field. Could you give me:
1, whether it is possible (changing file contents before it is taken by standard file sender adapter)
2. any ideas, where to start with the development (pdf with info etc.)

A work around:
Use another interface File to file (By pass) using file adapter which does the mask exclusion of the file which are not required.

Search server express Content Source Type for file download

Hi All
We have recently installed Search Server Express 2010 in our organization. Now we want to create content source to search from our file server files.
Have used “File Shares" as "Content Source Type", and now this is working perfectly fine. But whenever we try to download the
files which are there in search result we wont be able to do that.
As well as search result shows the complete path of the file on file server.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

1. Should be much faster than that. Make sure you have an index on the KEY column (or, if a view, on the underlying column that the view is created on). Otherwise it will do a full table scan for each row it fetches.
2. 40 threads sounds a little high - we found the optimum level was between 10 and 15 threads. Have you checked the memory usage on the system? Perhaps all your threads are causing your system to page.
3. The column returning "LastModifiedDate" determines whether the content for that row needs to be reindexed. If LastModifiedDate is unchanged since the last crawl, the row will not be reindexed.

Change default setting for files...

Is there a way to change the default setting for raster effects to 300ppi instead of 72ppi? And is there also a way to have "Align New Objects to Pixel Grid" unchecked by default? I do realize I can change all of these settings either when I create a file or after, but I would like to have them be my defaults. I'm running Illustrator CC on Windows 7. Thanks!

This is a tricky one. Even if it is not related to SAP CRM WebClient in any way as you are using standard HTML INPUT tag. That is not THTMLB or CHTMLB tag library.
The probolem is: For a file upload field behind the field there is a button that shows always the same text. In english version "Browse" in germany it is "Durchsuchen" you can not change it. It is hardcoded in the browser for that specific language.

Change default program for files with no extension

I've got a file called TODO. Just TODO, not TODO.txt or anything like that, there is no extension.
I want to open all files with no extension in MacVim.app. If i right click TODO, select Get Info, change to MacVim.app under Open with, and then click Change All, this is what I get:
"Are you sure you want to change all similar documents to open with the application "MacVim.app"?"
I click Continue.
"An error occured while changing the application that opens "TODO" because not enough information is available. Do you want to open "TODO" with "MacVim.app"?"
This is useless! Any ideas as to how to make it work?

extremely annoying. when i first switched to OS X, i had to rewite a hundred or so perl scripts for my servers... because any text file or data file or whatever, that didn't have an extension after it, would no longer open in BBEdit, like it always did in 9.2
3 years later i'm still occasionally getting that annoying 'doh, what do i open this with' message. macs are getting dumber all the time.
i guess apple thinks windows got it right associating the extension with the app.
and half my 'change alls' don't stick either.

I have a piece of analysis software produce a file with the extension .jdf and I need to open it with a particullar piece of software called Mestrenova to manipulate it. The problem is...jdf is also the extension of the Adobe acrobat job definition file. I can go into the file in snow lepord with 'get info' and change the individual files to default open with Mestrenova BUT as soon as I hit the 'change all' button, ALL .jdf files revert back to Acrobat defualt. It's infuriating and I have no idea how to resolve it without installing 3rd party software, which I'd rather not.
Can anyone help?

How to configure SMTP_OUT or SMTP_IN to make a log file with the successfuly send EMAIL ?

Increase the relevant Protocol Server Log Level to DUMP (30) and restart the server. Then send a message and check the relevant log file under $ORACLE_HOME/oes/log/um_system/<Server>/<pid>/<pid.log>
But the Logfile will grow and occupy more space due to DUMP.
Note : You can set the Log Level from EM Pages

Change default location for file creation in CS5

Our Users do not have permission to write tio th local hard disk by default some of the application are trying to create folders in user\user Profile\Adobe\....... How cam ye change this defauly location to the users home drive where they can create folders

Adjust your group policies and rewire your folders properly using this stuff rather than just mindlesssly blocking access to folders on the file system level.

Unsure where to make to changes so my downloads will go to another hard drive instead of the "C" drive under documents.

How to get file name in faultpolices file for file based rejection handler

Hi All,
I am implementing the file rejection handler in fault polices.xml
Now i want to catch exact file name and use this in faultpolices.xml under Filename tag and move the rejected file to custom directory.
Can some please let me know is it possible to catch the exact filename and use the same name in rejection handle.
Suppose If we don't handle the rejection handler then these files will move to the default path in SOA HOME. But the file name remains the same. So i think this can be changed in SOA, but i am afraid i how can i do it.
Please suggest me.

Rename output file for File Transport

I am using ALSB 2.6.When I created file transport for detect file in C:/filein directory.I found that the name of output file didn't same as input file,example input-file = IgniteRB output-file = 6815685856805434446-1b555112.11a526f862f.-7fb0

If you only need to change the name, then in your publish sub-actions, use the "Set Transport Headers" action. You should be able to check "Pass all Headers through Pipeline" and skip selecting the specific header.
Or in the list for headers there is one for fileName.
You can derive it from the source name using the $inbound variable, or select "copy from inbound".
If you need to change the path (instead of business service value) then you can use URI setting in "Routing Options" action.

Dynamic read of file for File Port

As per our project requirement have to use File Port to pick a set of IDOC Flat files from a given directory. The File Port only allows us to pick a file with a specific given name and does not allow us to pull file with a pattern for .eg. We can pull a file abcd.txt but cannot pull something like abc.txt. Our requirement is to pull abc.txt using the File Port.
If anyone has any idea about this, or any past experience with File Port in this regard, then please respond at the earliest.

I would like to use another full name instead of the default cn for mails sent
out by webmail.
I've searched through this forum and found that most of the answers
seem to be doing the step:
1. add personalmap to the tcp_local stanza in imta.cnf
2. add to the mappings file, lines like:
PERSONAL_NAMES
*|[email protected] $YNew$ Name
I tried the above but didn't work
But I also found this answer, i.e. add this to option.dat
LDAP_PERSONAL_NAME=displayName
and it worked for me
Just wonder why the first method didn't work for me.
And curious to know which way is more proper.

Yes, I did issue that 2 imta commands after modifications of the imta.cnf and mappings files
By the way, does it matter where I placed the stanzas
