Changing the denomination in the invoice template

How can I change the denomination in the invoice template? I am trying to make an invoice in Japanese yen but every time I click the cell, the Unit Price and Cost revert back to the "$" sign. I've tried changing the language to Japanese in System Preferences and restarting the application (everything else works in Japanese except for this essential part), and I've set the "language" in the Inspector to "all" but that doesn't do the trick either. Any help greatly appreciated!

With your cursor in the Table, select the affected cells.
Open the Inspector and select the Table Inspector. (View>Show Inspector)
In the Table Inspector, click on the Format Button.
Under 'Cell Format' choose the 'Symbol' drop down list and select 'Japanese Yen.'
NOTE: This will not change the Invoice Template!! If you want to create new invoices using yen without repeating these steps every time, save a properly formatted Invoice AS a template for later use. The new template will be saved in the 'My Templates' category.

    Hi Suresh,
    We are on ECC 6.0 and SP 43.
    We need to put some extra fields / Notes to the targets and extra sub statuses to correctly identify the condition.
    But already appraisal process started and documents are created. Now we cannot either create the same documents in new template or postpone the appraisal template change to next year.
    In this situation we decided to change the existing template. We want to know what will be the implications if we change the template in development and transport it to production???
    Download and upload will create a new template which will not be useful for our case.

    I am trying to change the report template so that each table cell will display an image and a checkbox for the image. The column templatet for the new report template is like this:

    My questions are:
    1. If the #COLUMN_VALUE# is null, the table cell will display a broken image icon and a checkbox. How could I avoid this? I could add condition to this template, such as when #COLUMN_VALUE# is not null, but how to refer to the value of #COLUMN_VALUE# in pl/sql?
    2. I want to always put the checkbox at the center bottom, but no matter what I set "align='center' valign='bottom', it is always close to the image. Since the image sizes are different, the appearance of the checkbox are just up and down. How to fix this?

    hello,
    at designtime the elements from the template are physically
    imported into the report. the only way of re-applying a template
    is to use the wizard, which will re-default the layout.

    You want to change the doucment type after you have posted the document, you can do so, by following config
    IMG . Financial aaccounting > Financial aaccounting basic setting > Document > Rules for changing document > Document change rules document header.
    If you are posting through FB60, you can go to EDITING OPTION once you are in FB60 screen. And under Document type option, select Entry with short name

    Of course, I can change it manually. But the user want to calculate the due date in their own way---we have a special way to calculate the due date. So, I am looking for User-exit where I can write ABAP codes to recalculate the invoice date and cover the default invoice date, so the system can get the right due date by calculate the invoice date in the standard way.
    Did anyone have any experience in change the invoice date??Pls tell me. THKS!

    You can use the badi MRM_HEADER_DEFAULT.

    The prob is that we referring two different version of jquery files in master page and page layout.
    We corrected by referring same version of jquery files in both pages

    I live in Québec, the french part of Canada. Because I use French, iWork think I leave in France, so the default templates are in A4.
    How can I change the default templates to from A4 to Letter US? It seem's impossible. In Pages 06, each language folder had templates. But with Pages 08, it's different.

    Autre façon : Ouvre un nouveau document. Il va être en A4. Dans le menu Fichier--->Format d'impression. Une fenêtre apparaît. Dans la ligne... Taille du papier, tu choisis... Lettre US; tu fais OK. Ensuite tu sauves ce document comme modèle. Menu Fichier----> Enregistrer comme modèle et tu lui donnes le nom, par exemple... USLettre.
    Ensuite, va dans le menu Pages, va dans préférences et dans la fenêtre qui s'ouvre - Préférences générales - tu choisis : Utiliser le modèle... et tu cliques sur Choisir... à droite un peu en bas de Utiliser le.... et là, dans la fenêtre qui va apparaître, tu trouves le modèle que tu viens de faire...USLettre.
    Voilà. Chaque fois que tu vas ouvrir Pages, ce sera USLettre qui sera là par défaut.
    J'espère que ça va te satisfaire.
    Évidemment l'idéal serait de pouvoir changer la template Vierge par une template Vierge US... mais j'ai pas encore réussi.

    I can change the Page Template, for example, "One Level Tabs" to "Popup" at runtime?

    The question still remains: why would you want to do this? Or maybe, why not either make the page tab-based OR pop-up? My worry would be that your user opens the popup page, then navigates back to wherever the 'tabbed' version is and attempts to load that - what would happen then?
    If there is a solid design reason to do this, you could probably achieve it by making two copies of the same page - one being the 'tab' version and one the 'popup' (although further changes to the page would require double the work).

    what do you mean by changing the default template? Do you want to change the standard BEx web template for all web applications? This can and should be done with transaction SPRO, there you can change it to your own (maybe by copying the standard template and fitting it to your needs).

    Hi i have Std Conc prog "Payables Posted Invoice Register". It has a std template with same name "Payables Posted Invoice Register". Now i have created a custom template and attached it to the same Data Definition.
    The Requirement is that only particular users will use the custom template, hence they will chose it while running. BUt what happened now is in the Conc Prog submit screen it is taking my custom template as the default one.
    Hence majority of the users wudnt look at the template and get the custom o/p.
    I want to make the std template itself as the default template and make the custom template available to chose for a smaller set of users.

    Yes, that is a valid work around but my task is not to create a seperate data definition and a seperate concurrent prog for it. I HAD to use the standard concurrnet prog but jsut add my template as a non defaulted template.
    Anyways, i have solved it now. This is how
    System Adminitration => Concurrent Programs => select ur Concurrent Prog => Update => OnSite settings .... select the template you want to default.

    I am not able to communicate with the device. I am using the function call ibfind. Previous versions of the GPIB enabled us to modify the device name from dev0. How do I do this in NI 488.2 2.0 version?

    In the NI-488.2\bin\ directory within the installation directory, there is an executable gpibconf.exe that will allow you to modify the device templates. Just run the executable and you should be able to change dev0 to another name.

    Hello,
    Once the document got posted you can't change the ammount of that document. if you want to re-post the document with different ammount best optioon would be reverse the this document by posting a document with the equal  ammount with nagative value and then post you new document with correct ammount.
    you can post document using either t-code FB01.

    I have a page that I need to divide by 8 segments, rather than 12 ( I will need to place items and buttons in one of the 8 columns).
    To begin, I have made a copy of the One Level Tabs - No Sidebar page template. I have tried to edit this template, and played with multiple combinations changing the Grid Layout and Display Points settings, but instead of creating a page that has 8 columns, that span the width of the page, I am just left with blank space.

    Is it possible to change the body section of the page template to have 8 columns span the entire width, without the dead space?

    The CSS definition that comes with Theme 25 is based on 12 columns. The definition actually contains multiple fixed grid definitions for different screen sizes. For each definition, the column widths are defined (hard coded) based on the 12 column grid.
    Important: the grid attributes in the page template do not define the grid, the CSS does. The attributes/definition in the page template is necessary for APEX to dynamically use the grid definition. The CSS is leading!
    If you want to use an 8 column grid, you will have to re-write the CSS grid definition and alter the grid definition in the page template accordingly. So it is possible, but, depending on your level of understanding CSS and @Media queries, maybe not that trivial.
