Changing time-out for scheduled data refresh

Using a Power Query connection, is it possible to extend the time-out time for scheduled data refreshes? The amount of data to be retrieved is rather limited, but there's thousands of rows (NAV server).
If not, any suggestions to how to reduce latency?

you can change time constraints in general attributes of infotype attributes,this can be done through table maintenace view V_T582A.
But note that we cannot change the time contraints for mandatory infotyepe of personnel in an organization i.e -0000,0001,0002.
ex:- without personal details like names no personnel will exist in an organization.

Crystal report Viewer Session times out for more data in Portal

Hi All,
     I am using below java SDK code to render a report in crystal report viewer. When i refresh report with more data(more parameter value) the server session times out in portal. Is there any way to fix this issue. The report loads data and then displays in Crystal report viewer, When more data is there the server times out as the server time is set to 60 sec. Is there any way to open the crystal report viewer as and when the report loads data to avoid server time out isse.
Please help . Please let me know if I am missing something.. Thanks in Advance!!!

Problem in scheduling data refresh of excel file that uses PowerPivot

I think I have successfully created and enabled the gateway and data sources for refresh - they are both seeming to connect. However, when I try to schedule a data refresh to occur in the PowerBI site for the Excel file I receive an error message
that the connection could not be established and receive error message "Correlation ID: d118ab93-436d-44a9-8c09-564f64fe0c58". Appreciate any assistance in figuring out how to resolve. Thanks a lotl

Dear Sir/madam,
Is it possible to increase the User Time Out for a Particular user ?
We do it through RZ10 and as per I know when it is changed, it is effected to all the users.

Secure Store Service and Schedule Data Refresh

Hi
Can you please let us know how many (max) target application's we can create under 1 secure store service application?
As we know, Manage Data Refresh feature is only available for PowerPivot Service Report and we can access it from Sharepoint to schedule the Workbook for Data Refresh.
As per our requirement, we need to build a interface to use this Schedule data refresh feature in a separate browser not from SharePoint. Please let us know how to build this interface, is there any option to use API Web Service.

Set time out for single webservice in NWDS 2004s

hai,
i created webservices for session bean.created webservices are consumed by webdynpro client.
when the webdynpro client consuming it.if the response takes more than 60 sec the webservices are timed out so i want to set the time out for my webservice.
how can i set the time out (more 60 sec)for my webserive(for one service)?

Application Resouce ( Select your resource from the list)
Check for "Connection Pooling".

This issue appears under two different Mozzila "Questions". Both appear to have the same OUTDATED, INEFFECTIVE ANSWERS. A lot of us are on WIN7 now and still have erratic network speeds due to cable multiplexing -- but have been trained to leave the registry alone. Error in schedule data refresh in Power BI

I have errors in schedule data refresh in Power BI.
In fact, whenever i plan an refresh, it says to me that there is an Error on Site (OnPremise): Sorry, the data source of this data connection is not registered with BI Power. Ask your BI Power Administrator to include the data source in the Administration
Center Power BI. An error has occurred while processing the "X" table. The current operation was canceled because another operation in the transaction failed.
I don't know what to do, please help :)

Have you configured the Gateway and the data source and they pass test connection on the Power BI admin side?

If you plan to store important "original" or "master" files and documents on the Time Capsule, then you might want to think about a way to back up those files to another hard drive.
Why? If the Time Capsule has a problem...and you have no backups....you lose everything.

EE says time has run out for my data but I still have 500mb PAYG top-up ?

EE says the time for this data has run out which is correct- however I still have 500mb of the monthly PAYG topup remaining (this is shown on the data, call, text remaining allowance screen. Hi Leanne, I tried contacting Customer Services via phone but just ended up going round in circles with the various options and not being able to speak to a person and basically getting nowhere. So I went into the local EE shop and a very helpful and patient young lady listened to my story and phoned Customer Services who put her onto the Tech area - then back and forth between the two for over an hour till eventually they reset my account and credited me with a new PAYG monthly pack. Now I can use the data allowance to access the internet as normal. The only thing that I believe needs to be checked is that on my next purchase of PAYG I was due to get a 250mb Boost so I need to check I receive this as the text msgs I received from EE stated I was on my first PAYG purchase. How to increase the web session time out for FDM While data uploading.

I have very large data files of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss. These are taking very long time while being loaded through FDM. Kindly let me know of the following:
1 - How can I increase the time for "web session time out" in FDM; and
2 - What is the standard data loading time, e.g. how much time should it ideally take for approximately 1,000 lines to be load in Hyperion.

You supposedly feed it a (undocumented) parameter, -rxidletimeout, with the time in seconds, at startup.
app.serverSettings.sessionTimeout will report back whatever value you fed it. However, in my experience so far, the timeout is somewhere around 30 seconds no matter what value you feed it. I might be doing something wrong.
I currently have a ticket open with Adobe support about this very issue, but it's slow going. I'll try to update you with whatever I find out.
I'd love to hear whether anyone else has this working.

Data extraction hanging/time-out for certain FISCPER parameters

Hi all,
Our process chain that extracts and load data from one cube into another hangs when the FISCPER parameter value range is on the same fiscal year and the 'period to' value is 09 or less. We've tested this also using RSA3 and the same result happened.
Below are the FISCPER scenarios that we've tested using both our Process Chain and RSA3:
2009001 to 2009012 -> test result is ok
2008001 to 2008011 -> test result is ok
2009002 to 2009012 -> test result is ok
2009001 to 2009009 -> test result is not ok:loading hangs/time-out
2008002 to 2008008 -> test result is not ok:loading hangs/time-out
Can anyone share the solution please if this was also experienced before?

This has been resolved. Oracle release earlier than 10.2.0.4.0 still uses factview when selecting records. Because of this, certain issues arise and one of these is the time-out during data selection. the problem can be solved by disabling the use of factview or by upgrading oracle database.

Session Time Out For UNLOGGED IN USER During Search -pls help SIR!

The problem lies in searchresultscontroller.java/searchcontroller.java file under search/web/handler of an application that supports educational note sharing.
The problem is that -
When I search with query strings in different fields(as you will find in the above mentioned java files)..the keywords in resourcedto and get some files as search results.
Then I click on one of the file from within the search result and visit the file.
Here if I m logged in as an user, and the session time out is set to 1 minute in the web.xml file of the web folder not the admin folder then when I hit the BACK TO SEARCH button it easily goes back to the previous search result page along with the queries string that I had input previously.
The problem is that when I m NOT LOGGED in as an user, and I've performed a search with queries and other dropdowns in the search panel, I get the search result page, I visit the file by clicking on one of them but when I hit the BACK TO SEARCH button I don't see the previous search result page from where I had navigated to view the file.
