Charged my credit card though I have a credit on my apple id. Why?
I have an apple id with a credit that you can see when you go into the app store but when I purchased a book on my iPod touch it was charged to my credit card. I have purchased books before on my iPad and it as always recognized my apple id credit. Why when I purchased on my iPod did it not use my apple id credit?

It is a bad situation. Your credit card expired but you cannot change it because FormsCentral is retiring.

All my purchases on itune are billed to a credit card that is not the credit card that is detailed on my billing profile? How is this possible? I have checked and reinserted my credit card details several times in my billing section and still charges are taken off a different credit card, that's not listed on my billings details????How do I stop this? How do I get hold of an e mail address for billings so I can ask them what the heck is going on?

I purchased 2 apps.
One for myself which was billed to existing iTunes account Credit, and the second one (same app) was gifted to my girlfriend, but that was billed to my card, even though there was plenty of funds left on iTunes store credit.
Why?You cannot use your balance for gifting content, that can only be used for buying items for yourself - your credit card will be charged for any gifting that you do

I would like to purchase music and when I go to purchase it asks to take the purchase from my credit card and I have a gift card that I would like it to take the money from first.
Part of the validation for credit cards is that they need to be registered to exactly the same name and address that you have on your iTunes account, which prepaid cards tend not to be. Do you have a proper credit card that you could use ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you could try using them as your payment method ?
Until you have a valid payment method on your account and what you owe iTunes has been paid off then you won't be able to download any item from the store, including free apps (and updates to apps). -

hi, if you are creating an account no you don't need it. Just click when it asked you for credit card click none. Than scroll down and put your gift card number. if you have an account already go on the app store and and go all the way down and click redeem and put your gift card number in.
