Is there any kind of penalty charge  for switching from a family plan to an individual plan when it is the secondary line that is being removed and the secondary lines' contract is complete?

Hello skiibojosh, adding to what was stated, Are you just wishing to change your calling plan so each line remains with Verizon Wireless under their own individual plan You can always change your calling plan online without a penalty as it is not related to a customer agreement. I hope your line that completed the contract does remain with us. We desire to provide your line with best calling plan available. However, depending upon your specific circumstances, if you desire to have both of lines on an individual plan, you could process a calling plan change online at My Verizon.     i'd be inclined to leave things as they are. Managing app updates over more than one account in the same library or device requires you to sign in and out of each account in turn. You cannot transfer content from one account to another.

    I'm from Ukraine and individual plan is not yet available for my country. While it is not, I plan to use team version.
    Question is: When individual plan will be available for Ukraine, would it be easy/possible to downgrade to individual plan (without cancellation or some other major changes to subscription)?
    P.S. Also, it is still not clear why plan is not yet available, and no information why. Without no information why it is not available, it looks much like a kind of discrimination - large number of countries should over-pay for team versions instead of individual for no reason. Waiting for availability for my country, or at least good explanation.

    I'm not sure why the team option was made available before individual. It may be related to the individual memberships being sold through the Adobe website versus team being sold through resellers. Its not possible to downgrade without cancellation, so you might want to wait for individual to become available.

    If you call Adobe you can buy a "crossgrade" for a reduced price. You
    will need to upgrade to Acrobat 9.0 at the same time.

    Contact Apple directly, and be ready with the proper documentation evidencing incorporation, then follow their instructions to work thru the process.
    Outside of the name change in the side bar in iTunes, apps in the store won't be affected.

    I currently am the primary line on a family plan with myself and two other people. I want to upgrade to a smartphone using my NE2 this summer.
    I wanted to know:
    . would upgrading my primary line using NE2 affect the other two lines?
    . would their contract ending date change?
    . would I be able to add the mandatory unlimited data plan to just the primary and leave the others untouched?
    . can the two secondary lines be discontinued once their contract ending date comes? (sometime in November)
    . then, I would have one line left on the family plan - would I then be able to change the family plan to a single line plan so I   don't have to waste minutes that I'll never use?

    You can change your plan at any time - and once the other two lines are dropped, it will shift to a single line and you can adjust the minutes as needed.  The lowest individual plan is 450 minutes.

    What are you trying to back up if you don't mind me asking? Just your contracts?
    Because your emails and calendar info you can sync to  your work email address but I haven't tried to downgrade since I got BB 10's

    Odd...I was going to respond to this thread but when I tapped on the question I saw that 3 people had already responded so I laid off. Yours was the only answer that I was convinced was wrong and yet you solved the OP's question.
    No matter how many times I swipe my finger from the middle of the screen to the right, the options do not change for me. Landscape or portrait - doesn't matter. I have to swipe up or down - not to the right. If I swipe up and down, then the options change.
    You are really seeing this behavior by swiping to the right in the camera app in iOS 7?

  • Cost associated with BBM from Aruba to US?

    I have the Torch and my carrier is AT&T.  I am planning on traveling to Aruba and want to know if I need to get international coverage on my phone to BBM back to the US during my trip and will it cost anything additional to BBM or does it depend on my coverage with AT&T. 
    I know that I will incur costs if I text even with the international coverage, trying to see if BBM would be a better option and if there are any associated costs.  Thanks..

    If you will be using your ATT plan while in Aruba, you will be roaming, and you need to ask ATT about their international data roaming. Tell them you will be in Aruba in the Caribbean.
    But otherwise, BBM is data, and data is whatever ATT charges you while traveling and roaming.

  • Switching from Family Plan to Business account

    I have been a customer of Verizon for years & have boasted about the service they provide.  However, recently I have tried to change my account from a Family Plan (5 phones) to a Business Account (needing 7-10 phones) & found Verizon was far from accommodating.  After setting up the account with a rep, I was informed that my company did not have enough credit history & I would need to pay a $125 deposit PER PHONE.  This is insane.  I could understand if I were a new customer, but I have a perfect payment history with Verizon for the past 4-5 years & they want an $875 deposit just to change my plan.
    Oh, the rep was quick to inform me that I would receive my deposit back in a year with interest.  What an idiot...don't patronize me!  In a small business, cash is king.  Every dollar my company spends must see a 2 dollar return minimum....quickly.  Verizon is clearly making a statement that if you're an existing customer, they'll give you great service...but you're stuck in your plan.  Verizon also clearly has no intention in helping small businesses grow.
    In doing the math, I have found it cheaper to pay off & end my current Family Plan with Verizon & join Sprints business plan.  I really don't want to, but might have to....unless Verizon steps up & does the right thing.

    Verizon will screw small business out of money any way they can.  I got screwed when my business experienced call volume surge and incurred a massive overage amount. No notification from Verizon whatsoever.  They at least cut the overages in half.

    I have two issues
    1) How do I correctly write the code so that the script can be called with either or both parameters. The switch ($Myswitch) is the one that is really causing me issues.
    2) Is invoking it the easiest method/best/most common method of calling it via a batch file
    Here's my understanding
    a) I could dot source it (. .\myexample.ps1) to load the functions into the current session, then call the function
    Main -email hello.com -Myswitch
    or
    Main -email hello.com
    b) or I could Invoke it, which I think is my preference as my final goal here is for it to be called via a batch file in a scheduled task
    & 'C:\Users\myusername\Desktop\MyExample.ps1' -email hello -myswitch
    or
    & 'C:\Users\myusername\Desktop\MyExample.ps1' -email hello
    Any push in the right direction will be appreciated :)

    Why the function?  Just call the file.  We don't "Invoke" scripts. Just call the script..
