Check box with list item

hi ,
i have items in the form , the user need to visible this item with him self , so i make all the items visible = no
and make list item and but all the items in list value
when list item chanched and the user select any item the item will visible = yes
the form like that
list item named = bank
value in the list ( bank_name= 1
bank_address = 2)
and i have 2 items in the form
bank_name
bank_address
both of them visible = no
and i make trigger ( WHEN-LIST-CHANGED )

One idea is to make that conrtol using one list item. Suppose you have two item names in the list then create two parameters/global variables in the form and use them like this...

There are a couple of issues:
First, your error is because your not naming your hidden
project ID field:
Your entry:

Next, when using a checkbox, if the user doesn't check it, it
will be undefined on the action page. You will need
to check for its existance, something like:

<CFIF IsDefined("form.dontshow") AND Form.dontshow EQ

<CFSET ShowSpecs = 0>
</CFIF>
Then use ShowSpecs when checking if you should show the specs
or not

"Always Use Selected Format" check box in line items report

Hi Experts,
I have an issue in ECC 6.0.
From the transaction code FBL1N (Vendor Line Items) I am trying to export the report to spreadsheet by selecting the option List> Export>Spreadsheet then I have selected "Always Use Selected Format" check box. But if I execute the same report again I am not getting this option "Always Use Selected Format". Please let me how can we retrieve that option. Is there any possibility to get that option again either functionally or technically. I would like to know all the possible ways to get this option again.

In one my thread Mr. Frank has replied as follows. I believe he has solved this.
Hope this may be really helpful.
The problem with the spreadsheet download is at one point, users have selected their default file type.
That said, SAPGUI is working as it should. (gui710)
Question though is how do we reset the values so they get the ?Select Spreadsheet Format? popup again.
The following steps should be performed :
- Call transaction SE38, enter program SALV_BS_ADMIN_MAINTAIN, and press F8.
- Follow the parameters below :
- Select ?DELETE? on the Actions Group
- Select ?DETAILED SELECTION? on the General Data :
- On Client - your number
- User : <user name>
-Hit EXECUTE.
-Press ENTER on the POPUP
- If there is an entry in the report that will need to be deleted. Also, make sure that the entry you will delete (for the user) has a value of GUI_ALV_XML_VER on field ?Parameter? .
- Select the line and hit the DELETE icon .
- Press ?Y? to continue delete. Press ENTER on the popup.
- Then EXIT all the way out of the program.
NOTE : When you run program SALV_BS_ADMIN_MAINTAIN, make sure they are out of any program that they are using for download.

Binding a Check Box with a User Defined Field

Hi everyone,
i v created a user defined field (U_CheckPro)in the system table "OITM" with two values: Y for Yes and N for No. In relation to that i v also created a check box on the form "150" and would like to know how can i bind my checkbox with my user defined field properly.
The user would be than able to enable or disable the check box for each item (article). The user setting schould be than be active and valid in sbo-business logic, each time an item is selected. (for example in case of sales order ID 133, "OINV").
Any helfpul hints? Samples would be welcome as well.

Is it possible to have check boxes with submit in APEX like selected list with submit.
The requirement is as follows
we have different systems and under each system there are number of applications.
The systems and applications should appear as checkboxes to select.
If I select a particular checkbox for a system, list of applications under that system should appear in form of checkboxs.
secondly, I should also have an option for selecting multiple systems and multiple applications.
Can anyone advice me how this can be achieved.

How I can stop the combo box with list of values from fireing validations

Hi I'm using Jdeveloper 11.1.2.3.0
Using Hr Schema employees table
I Display employees data in af:table
and I make List Of values on Department_id filed to easy change the employee department
and another one on Job_id filed
and Imake them UI Hints as ( combo box with list of values ) in the employeesVO
the problem is when I Select a value from department or jobs ( combo box with list of values )
fires the entire filed validations for mandatory atributes
Note : the af:table Property ( contedelivery) is set to (immediate )
How I can stop the combo box with list of values from fireing validations

Hi Guys,
I have a workflow enabled on document library and it needs to started manually.
Whenever user starts workflow manually, gets following error:
"the workflow could not check out the list item. Make sure the list item is not checked out." list item is not checked out & this workflow was working smoothly earlier.
OutCome: The workflow operation failed because the workflow lookup found no matching item.

maybe check out for editing documents setting is turned on so wokrflow needs doc to ce cheked out before proceding and user might not have permission to do that.

The soluti as an image into on to your problem can be to use the symbol icon as told , but this may show in preview not in print.
I too faced the same problem.
So what i had done is created a new window with the diemnsions of the chekc box with border thcikness 8 tw and inside that window place a checkmark symbol.
if this checkmark symbol also does not show up in print preview/ doesshow in print preview and not in print then you can scan a chekcmark image and upload it into business document server as a BMP/ TIFF image and use this image in your checkbox window.

I'm not really sure what your problem is but if you are trying to update/save data when a checkbox is checked I would use javascript to call an application process to do the update/save.

The coding you've made regarding the check/uncheck seems fine...
However, check again logic-atp_wrkmod...
As far as i've seen, the allowed values are space and 'A' .
The value 'X' is not in the domain range.

How to add check box to list screen in SYCLO Agentry?

How can I add a check box to the list screen. I want to add a new column which allows the user to select the check box.
I have tried with "Allow Multi-Row Select" option. When I selected this option I am getting an error
"The For Object defined for the "Transmit" action is invalid. 'None' is not a valid choice since the Multi-Row Selection option for the list screen is enabled."

Is the list screen in transaction screenset or Object?
You can't use the field type button in a list screen. But what you can do is take a 16 x 16 image, with a checked box not checked.
Users will not be able just to check the box to enable it or not. You need to have an action linked to a button to the selected row, or you can have an action fire if the user double checks the row.
