Check boxes -Update many Items

I have a list of Construction Specs and want to have one form
with check box that when = Yes or 1 = dontshow item
The form has a check box with each item
The action update form does not update the database I get an
error:

There are a couple of issues:
First, your error is because your not naming your hidden
project ID field:
Your entry:
<input type="hidden" value="#projectid#" maxrows=1>
Correct Entry:
<input type="hidden" name= "projectID"
value="#projectid#">
Next, when using a checkbox, if the user doesn't check it, it
will be undefined on the action page. You will need
to check for its existance, something like:
<CFSET ShowSpecs = 1>
<CFIF IsDefined("form.dontshow") AND Form.dontshow EQ
1>
<CFSET ShowSpecs = 0>
</CFIF>
Then use ShowSpecs when checking if you should show the specs
or not

    I have an issue in ECC 6.0.
    From the transaction code FBL1N (Vendor Line Items) I am trying to export the report to spreadsheet by selecting the option  List> Export>Spreadsheet  then I have selected "Always Use Selected Format" check box.  But if I execute the same report again I am not getting this option "Always Use Selected Format". Please let me how can we retrieve that option. Is there any possibility to get that option again either functionally or technically. I would like to know all the possible ways to get this option again.

    In one my thread Mr. Frank has replied as follows. I believe he has solved this.
    Hope this may be really helpful.
    The problem with the spreadsheet download is at one point, users have selected their default file type.
    That said, SAPGUI is working as it should. (gui710)
    Question though is how do we reset the values so they get the ?Select Spreadsheet Format? popup again.
    The following steps should be performed :
    - Call transaction SE38, enter program SALV_BS_ADMIN_MAINTAIN, and press F8.
    - Follow the parameters below :
    - Select ?DELETE? on the Actions Group
    - Select ?DETAILED SELECTION? on the General Data :
    - On Client - your number
    - User : <user name>
    -Hit EXECUTE.
    -Press ENTER on the POPUP
    - If there is an entry in the report that will need to be deleted. Also, make sure that the entry you will delete (for the user) has a value of GUI_ALV_XML_VER on field ?Parameter? .
    - Select the line and hit the DELETE icon .
    - Press ?Y? to continue delete. Press ENTER on the popup.
    - Then EXIT all the way out of the program.
    NOTE : When you run program SALV_BS_ADMIN_MAINTAIN, make sure they are out of any program that they are using for download.

  • PO based invocie active check box for line items

    Hi,
    For PO based invoicing, we need the “Blank Checkbox”, which appears at Line Item Area of invoice.  We need it to be blank when  user begins invoicing entry process.  Meaning, no lines are subject to invoice, all are inactive and Users will place checkmarks for lines they want included for invoicing. It is SAP standard design.
    Do any one know how to achieve this?

    The setting in spro in Acct assigment,  u are talking about is GR Receipt or Invoice Receipts.
    These are not GR Based Invoice Verification.
    GR based Invoice Verification comes from either ur inforecords or vender master.
    if u check or uncheck these in spro in acct assigment, then it will comes ur Deliver Tab not ur invoice Verification Tab.
    one thing more, if u make it mutiple Acct assigment, then it will be Non Valuated G/R Based IV.

    Hi all,
    We would like to create PO's with a normal position and a second position which is free.
    Is there a possibility to have a special position type for free goods?
    We don't want to check this checkbox every time we create a PO...

    Indicator is not possible to get based on the position in the PO..
    You can get the indicator defaulted via maintaining the indicator in MMR and then considering the same material while maintaining the PO.

    One idea is to make that conrtol using one list item. Suppose you have two item names in the list then create two parameters/global variables in the form and use them like this...

  • Why did auto update stop working - check box greyed out!

    I suddenly realized it had been months since I had seen an update at home, but was getting them regularly on my office machine. Checking help about I found I was running 3.0.6, I tried to click the check for updates and it was greyed out. Checking options/advanced/updates I found the box was checked but greyed out.
    I had turned off checking for updates in my wife's account as she has no privilege and is not computer literate. I run my account without privileges but provide admin password when requested.
    My solution obviously was to download the current version (3.6.11) and no longer are any boxes greyed out.
    Question is - have I set up Netscape in a way that will result in the problem reoccurring?

    None taken. Firefox is built off what used to be the Netscape browser; common parentage.
    You might need to login to an admin account to update Firefox with Win7, but that's purely conjecture. 3.0.6 is so old that I wouldn't worry about it anymore; see if 3.6.11 updates automatically or from the Check for Updates menu item once 3.6.12 is released.

  • Can't use LOV with item type "check box" in form

    I have created a LOV that I want to use with a form application in 3.0.9. I need to be able to do multiple choices in this LOV (check box style) in the same query (only queries - users won't be able to update this field)
    When I choose Check box as the item type in the form wizard I am not able to choose the LOV. I have to use combo box, popup or radio group for the LOV choices to appear, but then the query can only query for one value in the LOV at a time.
    Is there a solution to this?

    This feature is not supported as of now. You cannot have multi select LOV for a form field and hence a checkbox cannot have a LOV.

  • Check box rendering problem in List.

    Hi All,
                I am using list component in my app and list component allows multiple selections. I am using an itemrenderer having the checkbox and label in hbox.
    Rendering is working fine. but when I selected three or four items randomly using check boxes in list and If I scroll it vertically (up and down) the selections of check boxes changedto another items. If I keep on doing this finally I will get all the check boxes selected. but I have selected only three check boxes.
                 I wanted get out of this problem. If i selected two or three checkboxes and when scroll it vertically it should remain as it is. Selections should not change... please help on this..

  • Very elementary....what is the check box for in itunes?

    Would someone please enlighten me on the functionality of the check boxes next to items in itunes? I check several songs I want to delete and then click Edit>Delete but only the ONE ITEM selected by the cursor is deleted. OK, so I know how to do shift-click to select a number of items then click Edit>Delete, but what in the dog-gone world is the check box for?!? when I search for help on "Check Box" no results are found. Also, if you like to show me how non intuitive I am by demonstrating how to find this solution in the Help menu, I would love to learn something from the exercise. Otherwise, I'm going to believe, beyond belief, that the itunes help is not very helpful!

    you can multiple select songs from your list by using the CTRL or SHIFT keys, and then you can right-click on the selected items and choose delete.
    the check box is actually for auto-syncing; which means that if you have some songs checked in your library, then you connect your ipod, those checked songs will automatically update on your ipod, or transfered. (of course, thats only true if you have the auto-sync option selected, and not manual update).
    another thing for the checked box; if you change anything to the song like ID tags, or artwork, .... they will automatically be changed and updated on that song on the ipod next time you plug it in.
    i found out that this check box thing is useful if you wanna update your ipod ONLY with the new songs added recently to your library. this way, your ipod wont update all songs, it will only do the ones checked.
    you can also right click on a bunch of songs and choose check selection, or uncheck selection.

  • While creating a PO in ME21N the return check box is automatically ticked.

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    I am facing a problem while creating a PO.
    Every time I am trying to create a PO in ME21N, the return check box at the Item level of the PO is automatically getting ticked.
    The check box can't be unticked even in change mode of the PO.
    So all of the PO's with different document types are getting created with the Return check box ticked.
    Can you help me to uncheck the Return tab in the Item level.
    Please advice if any configuration is required or the code has to be modified.

    Go to the Table T007A, where you find the tax codes.
    Input & out put taxes are the tax types.
    In FTXP T.code give the tax code and  click on the
    Input tax codes are used for purchase cycle and out put taxes are for sales cycle. I Hope you have given the sales related tax code. Thats why system is giving the error message.
       In T007 Table give the proper input and get the details.

  • Event to use for Creation of a Check box on Warehouse master Form

    I have created one check box on Warehouse Master form in AfterMENUClick Event. It works fine if I open the form on Menuclick . But If I open the Warehouse master form by Link button from any document, it does not show the check box. I also want to deactive the checkbox if once it checked. So, I do some coding in Data_Load event. It also works fine If I open the form by Menu click. But if I open the form by Link button it gives error " Invalid Item Id ". 
    So I want to know which event I should use to create the check box and which Event I Should use to Deactive the Check box

  • Check Box in Header of ALV GRID only............

    Hi Experts,
                   Can anyone help me out... in keeping the Check box at the Header Level.....
    This requirement is in the copy of the standard transaction "ME2N". 
    1. In ME2N when you click on the Chage Layout button of ALV grid
    and choose "Sorting" tabe.
    2. Add any 3 fields say 1. Vendor/Supply plant 2. Purchasing group and 3. Purchasing document in the Sort criteria and choose accending order radio button and check box in the sum .
    3. Now click on the Displayed Column tab and remove the above 3 fields from the Displayed colums and add it column set
    4. Now report shows the heirarchial one in the sorting manner.
    5. I want the Check Boxes at all levels both in the header and the item level.
    When I click on the Header level check box all the item level check box should get checked. When I add the check box in the field catalog I am able to see the check box in the item level only because only item level data appears in the internal table and Header level is displayed based on the ALV grid sorting option and that row records are unknown in the internal table.
    Is there some thing which I can do to get the check box at the header level retaining all the functionality of ME2N and ALV GRID.....
    It would be great help if some one solves me this issue... Points will be awarded.

               Thanks for your response. Select ALL already existing... My requirement is not to get the whole report records selected at  particular level all items and header should get selected. Say for example  I have Vendor2 i.e,  vendor 1 and vendor2. So in the Vendor 1 i will have Purchasing group1 , Purchasing document 1 and say 10 items under Purchasing document. say same as like in Vendor2. So if Click on the Vendor1 all the sub items of it have to selected so that I can perform further action only for these items not for the enter items of the report.

  • Binding a Check Box with a User Defined Field

    Hi everyone,
    i v created a user defined field (U_CheckPro)in the system table "OITM" with two values: Y for Yes and N for No. In relation to that i v also created a check box on the form "150" and would like to know how can i bind my checkbox with  my user defined field properly.
    The user would be than able to enable or disable the check box for each item (article). The user setting schould be than be active and valid in sbo-business logic, each time an item is selected. (for example in case of sales order ID 133, "OINV").
    Any helfpul hints? Samples would be welcome as well.

    Hi,
    I actually did not understandd your question completely. but if defaulting a value is only your requirement. then below is the way to do it for a specific user.
    Normally for any user, if you want to default a value for any field. Then the parameter ID of that particular field will be given in the parameters tab of the users settings transaction SU01. Ask you security guy to help you out. and its respective value should be given there only. so that in SAP if this user opens and transaction and any of these fields are there in tha screen, they will be defaulted with the value given here in SU01.
    If you want it for all user: You can try searching for field exit or user exit for that respective screen.
    and not sure about this but you may even try using transaction variant( never used it, but you can give a try).
