Check CRM Error Flag of Workflow Condition in own Code Condition

Hi everybody,
I am creating an own condition with the help of a badi.
Can any body tell me how to check if a ticket has an error message like the CRM Error Flag in the Work Flow Condition`?
Regards
Ali

> should I use the statement "EC C1_NOFIRST to remove the error?
you can not really ask this question in this forum. This check gives you hints to the most serious problems in database accesses, if you want to override it, then you should better forget about performance.
If you are not familiar how databases use indexes, then check resources in the net or in books, in
short they use indexes and the indexes are absolutly necessary with large tables, if you want to get
good performance.
But indexes can only be used in the order of their field, until a field is not used in the WHERE-condition, (gap). If the gap is already the first field, then the index can not be used at all.
In your case there is not first field of any index specified in the WHERE condition, so the SELECT might be slow. Either you can add a condition on a first index field or you have to live with a poor performance.

  • How to check for errors in starting workflow from plsql?

    Hi All,
    I am using the below code to start a custom workflow.
    DECLARE
    l_itemtype VARCHAR2(30) := 'XXPWA';
    l_itemkey  VARCHAR2(30) := '1116410C';
    error_code VARCHAR2(2000);
    error_msg  VARCHAR2(2000);

    The script completes successfully without errors.
    I am sending a notification from this workflow. I can see the records getting created in tables like WF_NOTIFICATIONS and WF_ITEM_ATTRIBUTE_VALUES. But i cannot see any thing if i query from Status Monitor. Also I am not getting the said notifications. How can i find what is the issue?

    Hi Manu,
    Thanks for sharing the information, If you think of speeding up finding were exactly your notification is struck, You can use the below query (Input parameter would be your notification id), Hope this information is good, I liked this very much, the way it was narrated.
    SELECT n.begin_date,
           n.status,
           n.mail_status,
           n.recipient_role,
           de.def_enq_time,
           de.def_deq_time,
           de.def_state,
           ou.out_enq_time,
           ou.out_deq_time,
           ou.out_state
      FROM applsys.wf_notifications n,
           (SELECT d.enq_time def_enq_time,
                   d.deq_time def_deq_time,
                   TO_NUMBER((SELECT VALUE
                               FROM TABLE(d.user_data.parameter_list)
                              WHERE NAME = 'NOTIFICATION_ID')) d_notification_id,
                   msg_state def_state
              FROM applsys.aq$wf_deferred d
             WHERE d.corr_id = 'APPS:oracle.apps.wf.notification.send') de,
           (SELECT o.deq_time out_deq_time,
                   o.enq_time out_enq_time,
                   TO_NUMBER((SELECT str_value
                               FROM TABLE(o.user_data.header.properties)
                              WHERE NAME = 'NOTIFICATION_ID')) o_notification_id,
                   msg_state out_state
              FROM applsys.aq$wf_notification_out o) ou
    WHERE n.notification_id = &NOTIFICATION_ID
       AND n.notification_id = de.d_notification_id(+)
       AND n.notification_id = ou.o_notification_id(+)
    This single query links all together and shows you the current state of the message.
    Column 5 & 6 shows the enqueue & dequeue time of WF_DEFFERRED queue.
    Column 7 shows the message status in WF_DEFFERRED
    Column 8 &  9 shows the enqueue & dequeue time of WF_NOTIFICATIONS_OUT queue.
    Column 10 shows the message status in WF_NOTIFICATION_OUT.
    Below is the sequence of activities going on between the PL/SQL trigger of the business event and the e-mail received from notification mailer in the tail -end
    1. EBS user sends email – To send an email EBS modules use standard API. Email API is implemented in PL/SQL package WF_NOTIFICATION (I will cover it in the next article).
    1.1. Provides application data – First of all user’s session inserts business data (recipient, message type, message text etc.) into WF_NOTIFICATIONS table (do not mix up with PL/SQL package mentioned above);
    1.2. Defers processing Generates event – a user or process leaves EBS to run further email processing steps. It is done using a Business Events System (BES). Session raises an event k“oracle.apps.wf.notification.send” via the WF_EVENT PL/SQL package (BES processing to be covered in the next articles). Each deferred event is put in one of the two Advanced Queues WF_DEFERRED or WF_JAVA_DEFERRED for further processing. All email sending events go through the WF_DEFERRED queue.
    2. Deferred Agent Listener – is a process responsible for ALL BES events processing. It executes all deferred events calling subscriptions’ functions defined for each business event. There are several more things to explain about Agent Listeners and subscription processing (e.g. there are several differed agents, subscriptions groups etc.) This is one more subject for further articles.
    2.1. Reads event and starts subscriptions processing – Strictly speaking there is no any enabled subscription for the “oracle.apps.wf.notification.send” event (submitted during the first step). This event is a part of “oracle.apps.wf.notification.send.group” event group. The Deferred Agent executes subscriptions for that group rather than for the stand alone event. At this stage the Agent knows that it should process the notification with given notification id (it is a part of the event data passed via the event).
    2.2. Reads application data – in order to generate the email/notification the Agent reads business data from the WF_NOTIFICATIONS table and a few related tables and during the next step builds up the email’s text in XML format.
    2.3. Generates data for outbound interface – This is the last step executed by the Deferred Agent Listener. It generates XML representation of email to be sent and together with other important bits of information posts it to the Notification Mailer outbound queue WF_NOTIFICATION_OUT.
    3. Notification Mailer – As you see it was a long journey even before we started to talk about the Notification Mailer. There are a lot of things which may go wrong and this is why it is important to know the whole flow of the events to troubleshoot the mail sending functionality in EBS. We’ve come to the last processing step before the message leaves EBS boundaries.
    3.1. Reads message – the Notification Mailer dequeues messages fromWF_NOTIFICATION_OUT queue on regular basis. In fact this is the only place where it looks for the new messages to be sent. This means if a notification doesn’t has a corresponding event ready for dequeuing in the WF_NOTIFICATION_OUT queue it will never be send. As soon as a new message arrives Notification Mailer dequeues it and gets prepared for sending;
    3.2. Sends email via SMTP – This is the step when the message leaves EBS. The Notification Mailer sends the email using text retrieved from the advanced queue during previous step;
    3.3. Updates status – as the last step in the notification sending process the Notification Mailer updates a MAIL_STATUS column in WF_NOTIFICATION table.

  • CcBPM - can't activate workflow when using expression in Condition editor

    Hi,
    My workflow (generated by ccBPM) won't be activated when I try to do an IDOC comparison (on DOCNUM), using an index (count), in the ccBPM Condition Editor.
    The condition looks like this:
    (msgs_receive[count]./HRTRPR01/IDOC/EDI_DC40/DOCNUM = msg_receive./HRTRPR01/IDOC/EDI_DC40/DOCNUM)
    There seem to be no errors when activating the Integration Process in the Integration Repository, however when looking into the SXI_CACHE, XI Directory cache, my integration process gets return code '99', even after reactivation.
    I get this error:
    Syntax error in expression Line1 Ext. IDE63443806B4211DBC393F1DE0ACE61FE
    The exception occurred (program: CL_SAI_SWF_RULE
    Symbol 'CE/KO' expected at position 1 in expression 'count{XSDSIMPLE::xsd:string;}'
    The only interpretation I make out of this is that it doesn't like my index (count) variable.
    Can anything be done to fix this?
    I use XI 3.0 SP14
    Thanks
    Olof Trönnberg

    Hi,
    Return code - 99
    1) Export  parameter might be wrong.
    2) Check Oss Notes 901366 & 708338.
    3) 99 occurs when there is a mismatch in the mapping
    4) 99 occur if all the active correlations are not used.
    5) Try this SXI_CACHE select your business process and
       click on activate. change the  the return code to 02
       and upon activating again.
    This will help you :

  • Is it possible to update a checked out record in a workflow?

    Hi All,
    I want to join a checked out records in a workflow with a updated record.. I am getting the following error:
    Import failed. Cannot import record because it is already in a workflow or is already checked out by another user
    Import action: Update (All Mapped Fields)Source record no: 2
    I have created a workflow with validations in it.. and they are failed and the records are held in that workflow.. Now I want to update those records with another import.. I am unable to join that check out records in the workflow..
    Any inputs.
    Thanks
    Rajeev
    Regards.
    Rajeev

    Hi Rajeev,
    Yes we can not import the records which are in an Workflow your import fails.
    As ravi suggested Auto join checked out records will work only when the user who checked out and the importing user are same.. but if you are trying to update the record which is checked out by another user you can not be able to update that record.
    Why are the records which are failed in the other workflow are checked out? any reason.
    when you design the worflow for validating a record are you using validation step or branch step ?
    You should use branch step on default condition you should have an assginment(for stating some field in the repository as Error so that you can trace how many records failed) and another stop step which will check in\rollback those values.
    So your records will be in check in after the first workflow is processed.....  and you can proceed with your import then.
    Let me know whether i understand your problem or not, if i am wrong please let me know the complete scenario which you want to achieve.
    regards

  • The error about the workflow

    Hi,my experts:
       SRM5.0 ,ECS,
    In my case ,I want  implement the spending limit workflow to replace the one-step and two-step approval workflows. I  want my worflow like this:Output limit not exceeded - start 0-step-approval workflow;Output limit exceeded - start 1-step-approval workflow;
    I config the workflow like this:
      1、Deactivate the event linkage for the workflowsWS10000129 (one-step approval)、 WS10000031 (two-step approval)、 WS10000060 (0-step approval).
      2、Activate the event linkage for the workflow WS10000276 (spending limit);
    3、condition for workflow :
              WS10000276:ReqtCovRequest.TotalValue>ReqtCovRequest.SpendingLimitofRequester
                      WS10000060:ReqtCovRequest.TotalValue <= ReqtCovRequest.SpendingLimitofRequester
    4、PPOMA_BBP  :EMPLOYEE -output limit:100 usd.
                                                         - SLAPPROVER :USMANAGER
    Now,When I one shopping cart with value 80 usd,But the SC  still need to be approvaled by MANAGER.I want to know why?
      BR!Thanx!
    Alex

    Hi,
    I think it is not an error.
    Go to BBP_PD and check which workflow template is started.
    Go to SWO1 transaction, and enter Business Object BUS2121 and select test.
    Select create instance and give SC number. You can check the value of ReqtCovRequest.TotalValue and ReqtCovRequest.SpendingLimitofRequester.
    Go to SWD_COND and check the start condition.

    Well - it shouldn't, but that doesn't mean that it won't make any difference :)
    If only one method doesn't work (and I must admit that I never use the concurrent program if I can avoid it), then the problem lies with the concurrent program. If none of the methods work, then there is a different problem.
    If you can deploy to one environment but not to another then I would also look at the differences between environments - patches, init.ora settings, profile options etc. to see where the difference lies.

    Hi,
    You said you are trying to do this stuff in IDES right.
    If you are using IDES provided by a company and where many people play on IDES, then you can get many such issues...
    This is by our experience.  Today you do something in IDES and tommorow that thing or config is screwed up by others.
    If you have your own IDES, then check the suggestion given by the forum Guru's.

  • Error during MIGO-Error during maint. of delivery costs in master condition

    Hi
    We are getting error as below during MIGO against a PO with doc type NB:
    "Error during maint. of delivery costs in master conditions, Delivery cost conditions in different validity periods not identical"
    What might be cause??
    Thanks

    Check the delivery conditions in condition tab of PO.
    Try to check if there are any delivery condition records mainatined.
    I think the problem is mostly due to overlapping validity period. Try to change the validity period for the same.

    Edit: Ok, when I look at the error, it is saying the the "GetInstances" stored procedure in the WFInstanceManagementDB database does not have a parameter named "@OtherWorkflowStatus".
    For laughs, I added the parameter (which wasn't in there). Now I get the error:

    It seems like there is something not right about my installation. Previously, I couldn't get the workflow backend service to run because there were config values missing from the workflow manager database. At the time I tried to uninstall/reinstall
    WFM to no avail. I eventually had to manually add the values to get it to work. Something is not right about the WFM install/config process.

    Here is what I had to do to get it working:
    Leave the WFM (Workflow Manager) farm using the WFM config tool
    Uninstall WFM, Service Bus, and the CU's from control panel
    Uninstall Workflow Manager Client if it exists in the control panel, it didn't in mine
    Delete the following databases in SQL Server:
    SbGatewayDatabase
    SbManagementDB
    SBMessageContainer01
    WFInstanceManagementDB
    WFManagementDB
    WFResourceManagementDB
    Delete the workflow proxy service in Central Admin (important)
    Application Management > Manage Service Applications
    Highlight (select) the Workflow Service Application Proxy service (don’t click the hyperlink)
    Select “Delete” from the ribbon.
    Restart the server
    Reinstall
    Enable the workflow proxy service in CA for the web app, the 2013 workflow option will not show up in SPD unless you do this.
    Application Management > Manage Web Applications
    Select your web app
    Select “Service Connections” from the ribbon
    Check the Workflow Service Application Proxy item and click “OK”

    I checked in SWLWPTSSID table, there is an mapping between task-id and service id from WF_EXT SRV.
    I am not sure where its going wrong. Any help resolving this issue is appreciated. Thanks a lot.
    Regards,
    Raja

    Gurprit/All
    Thanks Gurprit for the direction.
    Even if I execute the the workflow( WS77000647 from SAP). The first step invokes Process Dialog which asks for three numbers and two operands. When I input all the input params and click calculate button, the second step which is actually the background synchronous task, results in the same error in the workflow log and in the Process Dialog page browser it says "Entries sent for calculation" with the same input screen.
    Am I missing anything here to run background synchronous task? Any help regarding this is appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Raja
