Check Mapping?
Hi!
We have a scenario where an adress should be sent.
We did some testin with a testorder locally by pasting it in the src in Test.
The adress came up so the mapping looked good. However when we sent a real order, the adress is not sent. I checked in the runtime workbench and the adress is not sent. Is there a way i can see what mapping was being used when sending an order? I suspect that the cache is not updated so I need to make sure that the correct mapping and interface is being used.
Please help!
Hi,
Just go to runtime workbench. Click on Payload...Main document...view source it and copy the xml.
Then goto desing and in ur mapping then to test.
Paste this xml there and then test wat is the problem with mapping.

ELM - Duplicate Check, Mapping Format, Create BP in Role
Hi,
I have 3 requirements with respect to ELM (CRM 7.0 Ehp1)
1. Update CRM BP, if external ID/ID type combination occurs again
2. Create BP in a specific role
3. Map extra fields
With the help of multiple threads, I have found that I need to use BAdI CRM_MKTLIST_BADI and enhance methods DUPLICATE_CHECK, CREATE_PERSON etc. Create new mapping format, Append structure CRMT_MKTLIST_PER_EXT with required fields.
I have the following questions:
1. How do I create a new mapping format?
2. What/how to enhance the method DUPLICATE_CHECK of CRM_MKTLIST_BADI to check for duplicates based on external ID number and ID Type?
3. For creating BP in a certain role, is the note 915015 applicable for CRM 7.0?
I would appreciate if anyone can offer quick help in this regard.
Thanks and regards,
AnshikaHi,
You can new mapping format from webui.
You have to log in with a MARKETINGPRO role. To create mapping format, assign business role MARKETINGPRO to your user and go to "Marketing" work center.
In the "Create" area you will find "Mapping format".
CRM_MKTLIST_BADI has a default implementation class you can create a new implementation but you can copy the standard implementation class for your implementation class.
And change the code in method in DUPLICATE_CHECK. the external ID number and ID Type should come via the importing parameters inside the method then you can check with them. But other wise you need to find some other provision of getting them inside.

Check mapping used in BIC module
Hello gurus
we have an EDI scenario. modules are used in the EDI receiver communication channels.
Following is the processing sequence and module configuration of one of the channels :-
Processing sequence:
1 localejbs/Seeburger/solution/sftp Local Enterprise Bean solutionid
2 localejbs/CallBicXIRaBean Local Enterprise Bean bic
3 localejbs/ModuleProcessorExitBean Local Enterprise Bean exit
Module Configuration:
bic LogAttID ConverterLog
bic destEncoding ISO-8859-1
bic destTargetMsg MainDocument
bic mappingName See_X2E_DESADV_UN_D93A
bic srcEncoding ISO-8859-1
bic srcTargetMsg MainDocument
exit JNDIName deployedAdapters/SeeXISFTP/shareable/SeeXISFTP
Is it possible to get the mapping that is used here i.e See_X2E_DESADV_UN_D93A to view or edit?
I am new to BIC and BIC MD. I went through the documents that are available for mapping designer but i am now even more confused.
The mapping designer can be used to output .xsd file which can be imported into the ESR as external definition and then graphically mapped to the IDoc. Then what is the purpose of this mapping separately and where can i find it??
Appreciate any help coming my way.
Regards,
XineohpiHi Iphoenix
The XSD file should be imported into ESR as an External Definition, so that it can be used as a source/target for graphical message mapping.
As for the BIC mapping, this is deployed as an SCA file into the PI system. This is normally done via JSPM by the Basis team.
Normally, if your partner is using X12 or EDIFACT, you might not need to change anything with BIC mapping. Only in cases where your partner's X12/EDIFACT definition deviates from the international standard, then you might need to adjust the BIC mapping accordingly using BIC MD.
In the case where the standard is used, you just need to double check that Seeburger already provides that XML to EDI conversion mapping, and that it has been deployed by your Basis team (you can check in the Seeburger Workbench to see what has been deployed.) Once the BIC mapping is there, you use that mapping in the BIC module configuration.
To summarize, for an IDoc to standard EDI interface, your main development/configuration effort would be:-
i) Create graphical mapping from IDoc to EDI (XML format)
ii) Configure communication channel to use BIC mapping for X2E conversion.

I had configured some message mapping object and averything was ok. I could activate that and do the test of mapping. When I try to change dependecies in that object I see this error. Now I can not even activate that object and test it. Now when I try to create and configure new message mapping I have got the same problem.
What I have to do in that situation?
Can somebody help me?Hi,

Not Able to Activate the Message Mapping in XI
Hi All,
I am facing error while activating a simple Message Mapping (Mapping which I have created using XIs graphical mapping tool). What I understood from the error log is that, even though we are doing the graphical mapping, internally XI is creating a java mapping program. And while activation its basically compiling the graphical mapping (internally a java program) and while compilation this java program we are getting the error.
we have XI 3 with SP17 version java 1.4.2_06 running
i have copied the part of default.trace file which has the error

Oracle Map Viewer Application on Oracle Web Logic
We have developed an application using map viewer, Oracle 10g and deployed it in Oracle AS 10g. It was running fine and OK. Now we switched over the same application to Web logic10.3, using map viewer 10.1.3.3, Oracle db11g, JDeveloper 11g. We could deploy successfully on Web logic. The problem encountered is that During the map display (mapviewer.run()), an exception “Map viewer cannot process your map request. Check map viewer log for details.” is coming. We checked Map viewer log file and found no comments.
If your web server is working and the forms server is running type:
http://ip addr:port/dev60html/runform.htm
You need to put the ip address or name of your server in and the port number apache is running on (leave blank if this is 80).
This gives you the Oracle Forms start screen.

HT4623 IOS 6.1.3 update and maps
I have updated my Iphone 5 to IOS 6 latest version (6.1.3) last week. Since then, Apple Maps doesn't display maps anymore on screen. GPS position and directions appear but on a blank screen. 3G and LTE aren't teh problem, iut works well with other apps and Google Maps. Is there anyone having the same issue ?
Here you go.
You need to backup all and then restore your contents after you have reinstalled IOS6.
Good luck.
Oliver
Olivier:
Since upgrade to 6.1.3 Maps doesn't work anymore
Olivier:
GPS signal is good
Olivier:
I've restarted and reset the device
Sarah:
Oh No! I'm so sorry you are having that issue. Let's see what I can do to help!
Olivier:
but Maps don't show in the background, only route and pins
Olivier:
and this is the same with other apps using Maps as mapping app
Sarah:
OK, when you say that you reset the device, how was that done? There are a couple of ways to reset
Olivier:
Used Home and on/off hold for over 10 secs. Couple of times.
Sarah:
Ah OK, Do you have either an iTunes or iCloud Back Up of your device?
Olivier:
I'm on iTunes but is everything backed up on it ?
Olivier:
All configurations and specific set ups ?
Sarah:
Only if you ask it to. Go to File > Device > and select Back Up
Olivier:
where is
"go to file" ?
Sarah:
Sorry, in iTunes select File > Devices > back up
Olivier:
OK, done. Where is the back up stored ?
Sarah:
on your computer, there is a back up folder within iTunes. If you want to verify that one is there Select Edit > Preferences
Sarah:
Then select Devices (it has a picture of a black iPhone) in the large box in devices it shows any iTunes back ups of your devices
Olivier:
i'm on a PC Windows 8. Waiting for back up to finish. it's a 64GB and about 58GB are used.
Olivier:
there's no device backup file shown even after completion.
Sarah:
Close the preferences box and reopen it again, it will be there
Olivier:
OK got it. Are you sure it stores everythng. I don't want to have to reconfigure everything.
Olivier:
How will it take to restore then ?
Sarah:
OK, yes it does back up everything, except voicemail, as that is on a 3rd party server
Sarah:
OK, now that we have the back up, in iTunes, are you on the Summary page? - it shows a picture of your device
Olivier:
yes
Sarah:
OK, here is what we are going to do...
Sarah:
Since something happened while the iOS update was doing it's thing, we are going to restore the software back to it's original state. This restore process removes all of the software and puts it all back on again.
Olivier:
OK. How long does it take usually?
Sarah:
Once that is done, we will test the maps, if it is functioning correctly, then we will restore your back up. Does that make sense?
Olivier:
Yes it does. Let's go. I trust you know what it will do !
Sarah:
It usually takes about 20 mins, I can email you the directions and if you have any questions, you can always chat us back. would that be alright? I will get you started, of course
Olivier:
Ok fine. Let's go.
Sarah:
OK, on the Summary screen, find where it says restore
Sarah:
it's usually near the right side
Olivier:
Restore iPhone ... got it
Sarah:
Perfect
Sarah:
select that and follow the instructions
Olivier:
need to synchronize apps first
Olivier:
doing it
Sarah:
When iTunes asks you if you want to restore as a new device, or from a back up, select As A New Device
Olivier:
Hold on! is it down the page or up ? Restore Iphone or Restore BackUp ?
Sarah:
restore iPhone is correct
Olivier:
Ok. It still says that there are purchased items on the phone not transferred to itunes library. Even after sync. ???
Sarah:
OK, we need to Transfer Purchases
Olivier:
how ?
Sarah:
the iTunes library doesn't know what you downloaded from the device itself. Transfer Purchases will tell it.
Sarah:
Select File > Device > Transfer Purchases OR, there should be a choice on that warning box
Olivier:
it is transferring 63 purchases
Sarah:
LOL, that will take a few minutes
Sarah:
but no worries, best to keep iTunes happy!
Olivier:
too much apps !!
Olivier:
yes. If iTune's happy, i should be too.
Sarah:
Exactly!
Olivier:
have you had this same issue already ?
Sarah:
Actually, i have not. However, I have seen others with strange occurrences after the software update. That is to be expected, since there are so many variables on peoples devices. Sometimes the iOS gets confused and that is when we see weird things like this happen
Olivier:
OK. It looks like another user at least has had exactly the same result after upgrade.
Sarah:
Possible, with millions of devices out there, anything is possible
Olivier:
46 of 63, getting there
Sarah:
Excellent!
Olivier:
transfer done. starting restore
Olivier:
should i do first a new backup ?
Sarah:
no, the back up we did already is fine. iTunes keeps that in a different place than the library is kept
Sarah:
That is why it didn't know about those downloads you have
Olivier:
ok. Downloading sw update
Sarah:
Cool
Olivier:
saying 51 mn remaining but going down .... slowly
Sarah:
OK, so I already email those articles to you, but let me outline the next steps. I will also email this transcript to you
Olivier:
ok thx. go ahead. I'm listening.
Sarah:
1) When iTunes asks for set up as New Device or Restore from Back Up -- pick New Device 2) Then follow on screen steps to finish the set up ( make sure to enable location services - the rest is unimportant as we will restore from back up later on) 3) Eject device and check maps program 4) if issue resolved, do happy dance, then plug device back into iTunes and select File > Device > Restore from Back Up OR, if issue is not resolved, go ahead and Restore from Back Up and then Call our awesome phone advisors at 1 800.275.2273 and refer to this case # 428167088, so they can get with a senior advisor to report this issue. ( that is something we can't do via chat)
Sarah:
wow, that was a lot to type!
Sarah:
It is important to me that your issue is taken care of. Before I let you go, do you have any questions regarding what the next steps are to get this issue resolved? -

Budget checking document type wise
Dear sapient
I have mapped fund management as per the business scenario but i need some solution for the following point.
Can budget checking mapped as per the PR docuemnt type . i checked in derivatio rule but docment type is available as per the fi document type.
Client requirement is as below -:
if material value is below rupees 100000 client is preparing separate document type if it is more than rupees 100000 then preparing different document type
regards
sorajHI all
Extremely sory what i explained above is ok along with i want to add some more point.
Scenario 1 -:
same type of material is being purchased, but as per budget point of view they have dived in to two way
-> if material quantity/value is more than 100000 rupees than it is seperate budget.
-> If material quantity/value is less than 100000 rupees than its budget is different.
same material but budget differes as per the value.
scenario 2 -;
If material is below 10000 rupees but in this case purchase order document type is different.
with the help of ABAP i got some solution i will prepare a table and i will maintain diferent commitment item as per the purchase order type, i also checked it is working fine.
Scenario 3 -:
My clients wants budget check will be available at quation level.

Dear Gurus,
In R/3 I have value types 1(Plan), 2(Plan:Splitting Among Activity Types) like up to 99 and 9A to 9D types available.
These value types are showing in RPSCO table.
But in BW only showing 10(Actual), 20(Plan), 30(Target), 50 (Budget), 70(Variance), 80(Selection) and 85(Accrual Plan).
My question is which R/3 plan value type is mapped with BW Plan Value type ?
Is there any value type mapping table to find in R/3 ?
Regards
RamuBy R/3 Table COSB_VTYPE you can check mapping of all value types

Editing Configuration.MOF For Network Printers/Mapped Drives SCCM 2012?
Question is in Configuration Manager 2007 I would edit the SMS Def MOF file and then run Datashift.vbs on all the clients to add a WMI class for mapped drives for inventory. So most of my clients that I upgraded to 2012 already have that class added
to WMI. I just need to figure out what I need to do on the new server and Configuration.MOF (since SMS Def is missing in 2012) to tell it to collect the newly added classes during hardware inventory. I see that you can click on Set Classes in the client settings
but I don't see where you can check mapped drives or network printers there. There is no out-of-box solution to handle this task.
But try this. This has worked for us really well. We've got 22000 machines inventoried.

Windows Network Drive Mapping properties not being associated with Test Stand deployment
I recently upgraded a TestStand/LabVIEW (Developer Suite 2012 DS1) deployment project from a Windows XP Pro OS to Windows 7 Enterprise. Now, when I run the Test Stand deployment, Network paths that used to be hard coded into my File Globals are no longer recognized. I re-wrote the vi's, and put "File Dialog" pop-ups so that I could see what path the control is being opened up at, and what appears to be happening is the Network Drive that I am defaulted to is appearing as if it is "disconnected" in the navigation window, and the path is defaulted to my root directory. I can navigate out to my network path no problem from the navigation window, and after the first time I perform this user action, subsequent executions open up to the path I have hard coded in my Sequence File Globals. However, if I reboot my host computer, I again have to go through the exercise of manually pointing to the proper network location? If I use the Windows Explorer to check Mapped Networked Drives, everything is properly mapped and connected.
Has anyone ever seen this behavior?Hi ATE Dude 22,
I have not come across this problem before but here is a document from MSDN and one from NI which discuss file path conventions. From what I've seen, UNC is also accepted under Windows XP so I would advise using it for your file globals.

Please Help; MAPVIEWER-05501 Map tile layer not found error
Hi, I am just a newbie to oracle mapviewer; I installed mv 11.x. on Xe 11g with mvdemo dataset as mentioned in demo setup instructions.
It seems everything went fine including mvdemo data import and oc4j instance.
Only thing if i am missing is when I goto create "Create a map tile layer" in "Manage MapViewer" of "Admin" page; I can find datasource but do not find anything in "base map" combo. Thus i can't create Any Map tile.
Now, when I click on a demo example I get following error:
*[MVglobalvariables.getmap.cacheconfig]mapviewer-05501:maptile layer not found.check map tile layer name and/or data source name(mvdemo.demo_map)*
When i check the user_sdo_cached_maps view return "no rows selected ".
I have tried many restarts, re-import of mvdemo data but nothing worked.
please help me.
RegardsThanks Anyway I have found the solution, indeed I was missing the metadata script using @mvdemo.SQL.
I Followed the instructions on the sites given below:

why does this happen?
RegardsHi Jannus,
Thanks for your response.
I have analyzed the scenario and I find errors in my java functions when check mapping step by step with "Display Queue" (Function tag in MM).
This functions was ok when we had XI, but now with PI, It returns error.
There is any change after the upgrade to pi with respect to java methods or in relation to java mapping?
@Iñaki
I haven't seen your answer. My basis team import content version in PI, Is it neccesary doing the same in SRM?
