Check the existence of sales order
Hi all,
I am working on the scenario Jdbc to SAP(BAPI's).In Jdbc there is a flag field which indicates the status whether it is create or update or delete.I am using recieve and steps in BPM.
If it is create i have to first check whether already sales order is presented in the SAP data base.If it is already there ,then it must update the existing salesorder with create option.
similarly with update also...
How can i check the data existed in SAP database in BPM ?
Could anybody please help me?

you receive a jdbc "data type" and you want to post an rfc to check if the sales order is created so
you have to map the "jdbc" to RFC (transformation step)
then after the swith you can map your "jdbc" again to your z_bapi which now will create or update a sales order for instance
now a little bit clearer?

SD Reports for checking open deliveries, incomplete sales orders?
Hi guys,
I am searching for the following reports/ or tables with SQVI in the sap for SD Module:
a) If there are Deliveries exist in the system for which invoicing have not been done. There are two types of cases:
Delivery created but PGI not done
PGI done but invoicing not done
b) Are incomplete Sales documents present? To look at the list of partially delivered sales orders in the system.
c) Sales orders against which there are over deliveries in the system?
d) Any exception reports related to the Credit management SD Module? What reports to look at to see if the companies credit management is working fine.
e) Any standard user exit to check for duplicate customers when creatring?

The status of sales order is being in processed
Dear All,
The delivery quantity is fully delivered and it is order related billing, this is a Sales Bom, the header is delivered and the line items are billed, the status of sales order is being in processed after the completion of the subsequent documents,
In the document flow the system is showing that the order is being processed, we have checked the copy control and the relevant assignments. As we are facing the problem while creating sales order system giving an error message that there are open items for the customer. Please tell me if there is any customization is there or is there any other way to achieve.
The other requirement is, if the customer credit limit get exceeds then the system should not save the sales order, if the credit lies within the limit and if the stock is not available in that particular plant, it is a dynamic credit limit.

1. For your first issue u201Cstatus of sales order is being in processedu201D
Please check the below settings:
Copy control From Sales order (OR) to Delivery (LF) u2013 T.code: VTLA.
In Item level (TAN) whether u201CUpdate document flowu201D is activated or not.
You should also check in the Item category (VOV7):
Completion Rule: Which one did you maintain?
2. Error message: Open items:
This is related with Credit management. Check whether you maintain any open item days or percentage, please check in OVA8. If you maintain you should get the payment from your customer . This is related with FI ( T.code : F-28 )
Dynamic credit check :
The setting is available in OVA8. Choose your credit control area, Risk category and Credit groups ( Should be Sales order group ). Then select the indicator u201C Dynamic u201C In Reaction you should give B ( Error ). Then the system will not allow to save the sales order if credit limit is exceeded .
3. If the stock is not available in that particular plant, it is a dynamic credit limit.
I think it is not possible . You may use the User exit in OVA8.

Error on ATP check when Creating a Sales Order
Hello,
I encounter error on ATP check while creating a Sales Order.
The error is when I create Sales Order using material A, with or with out indicating the Plant and Storage Location, the Purchase Order quantity is returned on ATP check, but when I create an SO with out indicating the Plant and Storage Location, no PO quantity was returned. Note that we applied SAP Note # 387482 to automatically determine the Storage Location. I have also checked material maintenance in MM03 of Materials A and Material B and nothing was different, they have the same Availabity check condition.
Is it possible that the SAP note that I applied causes the error?
By the way I have noticed that when I create Material B and manually populate the Plant and Storage Location there is a pricing error(but it returns the PO during ATP check).

How to re-explde the BOM in Sales order

In sales orer there is any provision to Re-explode the BOM in sales order.we have make some changes in BOM.Now we want to re-explode the BOM in Sales order so that BOM Components can be available in sales order.

now you can see we used three item catagory TAP , TAQ and TAE
TAQ is the first level TAP is the second level and the final level is TAE.
now for multy level explosion go to your item catagory
and go to bills of material tab in the field "structure scope" select "B-Explode multi-level bill of material"
then do a transaction and check

Changes Allowed on the 3rd Party Sales Order when PO is created
Hello,
We have a requirement to change the Sales Order even if the PO is already created for teh 3rd party order. I am not sure which fields and what changes can we do if the PO is already created for the 3rd Party sales order.
Can you please guide me in pointing to the configuration or any user exit that we can control the field changes on the 3rd party sales order when teh PO is already created.

FIRST ANSWER THE BELOW TWO QUESTIONS.
1. Did you understand what Shiva has mentioned?
He has clearly mentioned that you can change the PO qty and in standard it self the same PO changed qty will be reflected in Sales order schduline lines qty, and he also mentioned that if this is not happening then advised to refer the Note 1361281.
2. Did you read the note?
It says that It will occur if the sales order line item is part of the delivery group or if you have set the complete delivery indicator for the sales order. And it also advised to apply the program code to over come the issue.
Please note: before commenting others just check once in system then talk, don't just blindly through the ball, it will not have good results.
Before also mentioned the same, but you still repeating the same.

what table where i can find the errors in Sales Order. here's my situations, I need to create a abap report of CRM sales order not replicated to R/3 and show what's the error. I can't find the actual error in CRMD_ORDDERADM_H and CRMD_ORDERADM_I. I also tried calling program "CRM_ORDER_READ" but the program doesn't display/returns error's on header and item level.

You might not even need a function to tell you if a record exists or not.
Here in below example i do a check with exists .you will find couple of other ways too..
create table t as select * from emp where deptno=10now i set salary of every person present in table 'T' to 1111 in emp table.
update emp e
set sal=1111
where exists
(select 1
from t
where t.empno=e.empno) Remember that plain SQL will always outperform PLSQL.

About check po no in sales order type.

When creating sales order,i want to implement checking whether purchase order number exists,and giving the
waring message.
But In the Customizing of sales order type,it can only check with a error message or do not check.

Note 63056 - Validation of PO number for sales order
Symptom: If the preparations for consolidation are activated in profit center accounting, the partner profit center for a sales order can, if necessary, be determined from the respective purchase order.
To do this, the purchase order number entered in the sales order for the corresponding customer is validated.
If this number has less than 10 digits, you need to enter the number with leading zeros.
Note 317029 - Bad performance in the sales order due to PO number check
Symptom: Long waiting times occur within the order entry because the system carries out a check to determine whether a document with the particular order type already exists for the relevant sold-to party.
All the above are under category of Program error.

Config to select Checking Rule "A" during Sales order availability check
Hi All,
Please can you tell me the config that tells system to select the checking rule "A" during sales order availability check. The problem at my client side is that the system was using the checking rule "A" initially but suddenly it has started using checking rule "B" (delivery) for sales order. The item category being used in YAN and Scheduline Line category is YC (ATP and Allocation allowed).
The checking group is getting picked up correctly from the Material Master value.
I have tried to find all the possible config that might be causing this issue, but I am unable to find one. Based on my understanding of the SAP SD process, there is no place where we can define in system to use the "checking rule" for SD availability check. This is the default (hard-coded) in the system.
Please can you help me to find how the checking rule "B" might be getting called instead of "A".

Checking rule is transaction based like A for SD sales order and B for SD delivery like that it is defined
So in a sales order the system checks with the combination of AChecking rule and the Checking group defined in MMR and for that combination we give controls in OVZ9 and based on that system makes availability check
Every one and all SAP materials including myself say Checking Rule is transaction based and picked up by the system thro hard coded controls
But In t code OPJL it is possible to define new checking rules that means customization is possible
But where is the link or assignment
For this nobody has given correct answers including the PP friends
For you the system is shifting the Checking Rule from A to B in the sales order itself means we can find out get where the said assignment is done
In OVZ9 remove the combination Checking rule B and your Checking group and save
You said the system has shifted its Checking rule to B from A
Now test it after removing this control in OVZ9 and see the system is shifting once again to A or throwing error as the control is removed in OVZ9
make sure that you do this in a sales order and post back
