Checkbox appears with text behind box in FORM

Hello,
i created a master detail page where i can also edit the master through a form (all on the same page). The check boxes in the reports are fine but in the form (to edit the master) the box appears with a text behind the box: Eigen Fust ? " id="P19_IND_EIGEN_FUST" />
So "Eigen Fust ?" is the label i set for the check box then the actual check box appears and after that the text i do not know where it is from (" id="P19_IND_EIGEN_FUST" />).
The "P19_IND_EIGEN_FUST" is the NAME of the form item i have for the check box.
This is the LOV i set for the check box item:
Select NULL d, HTMLDB_ITEM.CHECKBOX(1,IND_EIGEN_FUST,DECODE(IND_EIGEN_FUST,'Y','CHECKED','N','UNCHECKED')) r
From KOOPOVEREENKOMSTEN

Please can someone tell me why the text is placed behind the checkbox ?

No it is not the label that is shown there.
The label is before the checkbox 'EIGEN FUST ?'.
In the string that is shown behind the box the ITEM NAME from the checkbox in the form is shown. So it says : " id="P19_IND_EIGEN_FUST" />
and there P19_IND_EIGEN_FUST is the ITEM FORM name from the check box.
I really do not unserstand where that string is coming from.
Has someone any other idea ?

Rotated transparent images Muse CC 2014 not compatible with IE8.... they all appear with a black box behind them.

IE 8 is supposed to be supported by muse CC 2014 but its not in the case of rotated transparent images.. Did not have this problem in the previous version of Muse. The code did not have progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Matrix... now it does...
Had to add ie8 specific css and code to the page and use a composite image instead of the individual images to get a page with no black boxes...

I see this is still an issue even after the latest update.... Will this problem be addressed? Right now I have to manually update the html code for each page after export. This is a site that I update regularly so every time a change is made I have to fix each page so it can be viewed without the black boxes in ie8.

IS there a way to fix the issue with text list boxes where they shift (empty space is smaller than the text size) when two text lsit boxes are side by side?

Currently I have a webpage I designed for a company where I have multiple text list boxes side by side for the purpose of displaying data in each one based on a category in the database. So a text list box for the primary key, name, serial number, etc. I have to use Firefox as it typically works best for printing and functionality for the page. The single issue we are having is that in Firefox if the field is null as far as text the text are shrinks meaning all the data in that list box shifts up and is no longer in line with its congruent data in the other text list boxes. In other browsers that's not a problem and everything stays lined up regardless of whether there's text in the box or not.
Unfortunately I cannot provide a link but if contacted I will provide screen shots.

Problem with Text Entry BoX in Adobe Captivate 6

I could not enter correct responses for my text entry box. Plus, the "success" and " failure" options were greyed out for me under properties>options.
I notice my icon is IAB for text entry box, whereas some users have a placeholder sign for the icon.

This is very strange, even when not validated you should have at least the Success option in the Properties panel. If it is not validated you are left only with the Success event, that can fire an action when the Submit button for the TEB is pressed (or the shortcut key is used). You cannot be working on a master slide, because it is not possible to insert a TEB there. Please, post a screenshot of the stage with the properties panel, actions accordion.

Scan form with text, lines, boxes

I need to scan a form which has lines, boxes and text. Then I need to enter data into the scanned document. I don't seem to be able to find the correct method needed to meet my needs.

Hi,
You have to fill out by hand using a pen or you need a good OCR software to be able to do that. A good OCR software will allow you scan to editable document and you can use computer to fill out the form. Many printers now do not have this luxury but if you wish, please try:

I am researching if this is even possible.
I have this sentence: My name is FORM FIELD and I am your FORM FIELD. Is it possible to make the 'and I am your' flow with the form fields but cannot be edited?

Help with Text Entry Box?

I recorded a presentation in Training mode, and one of the prompts I recorded is for the learner to "Please enter the number 20 in xxx field." When I publish, the learner has to enter in 20, BUT the 20 that I typed in the field to capture the required action is visible, as well - so the learner is required to type over the 20 that appears in the background. Is there any way to have the 20 I typed in as the answer to not appear?

Thanks for the quick response! I'm using 5.5 (still a relative novice). All of the "click here," "select this" directives work just fine - this is the only "Please enter xxx" directive I have in the presentation.

T42 Display appears with small red boxes then goes black

When I power up the display looks like a checker board with small red background squares all over the display. I can read through them and see the display but after 3 to 5 minutes, the entire display screen goes black.
Any ideas? All will be much appreciated.

How Can I Make Title Cards Appear with Flicker Behind Them?

Hello professionals,
I have a question for you, guys: I am editing a short film now which is a throwback to some old 1930's films. I keep creating the title cards but the font always looks to modern. How can I create the title cards in Final Cut Pro so they have that old, 1930's feel flicker to it? An example of this would be the opening credits in this film:

While it won't be exactly the same you can easily create something similar. Go to the GENERATORS BROWSER and select TEXTURES and the PAPER and drag that to the timeline. Then in TITLES drag the BASIC TITLE on top of your paper and select the font you want while changing the colour to black, etc. in the INSPECTOR.
Select the title and paper on your timeline and right-click and select NEW COMPOUND CLIP.
In the EFFECTS select VIGNETTE and drop that on your clip. Then you could add FILM GRAIN, SIDELIGHTS, or perhaps PROJECTOR and in the INSPECTOR adjust the parameters.
Not sure if that's what you're looking for but it's a possibility.

When I open a new tab, an I Play icon appears with a search box. I prefer an empty page. How do I get rid of this customized tab? I thought I deleted all program references to I Play when I uninstalled a game I had played.

In Firefox go to Tools>Add-ons>Extensions and remove the Oberon Games Bar.
Then restart Firefox...
That should remove it.

You can create a new screen and select the screen type as <b>model dialog box</b>.This will give you a<b> pop-up screen</b> and you can call this model dialog box screen in the PAI of the screen where the button is present.(At user-command).

Captivate 4 AS2 Text Entry Box not working with Flash Player 11

I am having issues with text entry boxes not working at all in flash 11. I am using Captivate 4 and exporting an AS2 swf. When you get to the slide you can type but you cannot see anything nor does the button or keystroke to move on. Also there is no cursor. Any ideas?

You said it is not working with Flash 11, so does that mean you tested with previous version and that worked?
While publishing choose Flash player as 9 and publish that, verify if that plays in a compatible web browser.
AS 2 is a legacy scripting, it has been said not too be supported with even Flash Player 10 --

I believe if you switch back to version 9 while publish your project, it should work.

HT201272 I just bought a new iPad. When I tap on Purchase in the App store I see all my previously purchased apps each with a little box that says open. There is no download cloud. How do I get these apps onto my home screen?

I just bought a new iPad and the apps I had previously purchased are in the app store under Purchased. They appear with a little box that says "Open". There is no download cloud so I can't click on them to download the apps to my home screen. Is there a way to move these apps to my home screen?

If they have 'open' next to them then that implies that they are already on your iPad - if you tap on the 'open' button does that open the app ? If it does then they are on your iPad. You've checked all your homescreens and tried a soft-reset to see if they show after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Submit All button for all text entry boxes at end of exam in Captivate 7

Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum, and I was hoping that someone could help me out with a problem that has been eating my lunch for the last week.
I have a captivate 7 project that I am setting up as a virtual workbook, with text entry boxes asking true/false, yes/no, and short essay questions through out the most part of the workbook, and then at the end it has a series of multiple choice questions that are set up on question slides. Is there a way to have all of the text entered in the text entry boxes submited along with the quiz questions at the end, to my LMS? And if at all possible, still inform the user if there are any questions that have not been answered? Like I said, I am new to this forum, so if I forgot to include any important information, I apologise, but if anyone could help me ouot, I would be extreemly thankful!

thenks for the reply Lilybiri! As far as I have been able to find, there is no way to associate a submit all button with TEBs, so I am not sure if this is something that I am overlooking, or if I am misunderstanding the recomemendation.
What I am trying to do is set up a bunch of TEBs to be answer entry boxes for questions throughout the workbook, which will lead up to an exam. The exam, I am good on, because it has the submit all button attached. But the TEBs that I am using as the answer entry boxes, I can't seem to find a way to link them all to the same submit button.
I hope I am being pretty clear about it, but I've been pounding away at this for a while, so I fear it might come out a but rambly. So, please let me know if I need to clarify anything.
