After displaying ALV report output, if you want to update database table based on your selected record, then use the below logic in your User_command subroutine.
You will get the index of the selected record in rs_selfield-tabindex. using this index read the respective record from the internal table and move corresponding field to the table fields and then update.
data : wa_data like t_data.
read table t_data index rs_selfield-tabindex into wa_data.
if sy-subrc = 0.
move-corresponding wa_data to ztable.
insert ztable.
endif.

How to count number of checkboxes selected from a table in sapui5
Hi
I have a table in which one of the column is checkbox.
Now user can check 'n' number of checkboxes in the same column.
So now i need to count the number of checkboxes selected in that column.
how to do that..??
Please help me on this.
Thanks
SathishHi Sathish,
If you are using table mean surely you are binding the table to some model like JSON model. You can bind the checked value of the column with the checkbox in the template. So while checking you can directly check the property by taking the reference from the model. Navigate through all the objects in the model and check the property you wanted.
This is the logic I have used to get the checked property form the table column. My table id is "tableId" and it is being binded with "/tableModelData" of json model.
var myModel = sap.ui.getCore().getElementById("tableId").getModel().getProperty("/tableModelData");
for(var i= 0 ; i< myModel.length ; i++)
var singleObject = myModel [i];
if(singleObject.checked == true){
your logic. -

To get checkboxes in the results table of SEARCH page?
Hi,
I am trying to create a search form using 'Execute With Params', while doing this I am getting radiobuttons when I go for Enable Selections , but I want Checkboxes to be present there instead of Radio Buttons.
And also when the page is displayed I want only the search parameter to be prsent and not the results table by default.How can I do that?
Kindly tell me how can I acheive that?
Thanks,
ivaRHi,
a) create a table with no selection enabled. Then drag and drop the tableSelectMany component into the "Selection" facet of the table
b) make the default vaue of the bind variable so that no value is returned by the query. Then on the render property of the table, set #{bindings.tableIterator.estimatedRowCount>0}. This hides the table if not query is issued -
Hi to all experts,
i have the following scenario:
I am using a query in web. Well in the lines there is a characteristic (for example sales org) and in the columns a keyfigure with an exception and a top10 condition. I think exception and condition are not important for my problem but the table is. Now i want to see in front off all lines a checkbox. That means i have - for example - now 10 sales organizations in my query and in front of all sales orgs there should be a checkbox. I think that should be realized with table interface. Now the user should be able to mark two ore more checkboxes to jump with the Report Report Interface by using a link to another Web report? Is that possible? Sounds hard i think or isnt it?

try the following. Create a template with a web item table. Than by using se24 create your own class for table interface. Change method DATA_CELL.

concatenate l_cell_content '<INPUT type=checkbox value=ON name='

Insert/Update multiple checkbox values into a table
Hi all,
I created an interactive report with checkboxes in it.
My application is like,
step 1: user will give his ID in a text box and click on 'submit' which redirects to IR page which has got checkboxes
step 2: IR report displays all the environments and access levels as two of its columns
step 3: if user checks on some box in IR, those particular environments and access levels (may be multiple environments and access levels) for that particular ID should get inserted into a table.
I have created a model application at http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=71510:20 (wokspace:test_me, username=test, paswrd: apex14gm)
I found this forum too, https://forums.oracle.com/thread/2387391?start=0&tstart=0. But I am confused of how to implement it!
How to achieve this??
Pls help me out....
Thanks in advanceHi Kanishkaa,
I've taken a look at your application.
So the things that I noticed that are wrong:
1)Your report: You created 2 items but you gave the 2 items the same idx. This is really weird I'm not sure if APEX knows how to handle this. Don't give 2 items the same idx. Furthermore you need to create 2 additional hidden items since you also want to store the access level and the environment.
2)The PL/SQL Process: Your PL/SQL Process: your making a type t_checkboxes, but your not actually doing anything with this type. Your not giving this any value. So obviously you get an error.
You really should rewrite this process based on the process in my blog. Please read it again carefully, if you just use the one insert statement you are using then even if you write a correct process that doesn't give any errors, the wrong data will be inserted.

Need help: checkbox or radiobutton in table cell
So basically i am looking for code samples or links to where i can find an implementation of 2 or 3 radiobuttons or checkboxes in a table cell/column, so that for each row, i can have a selection of A, B or C for a particular string in the first column. I can create a table with one checkbox, but i cant figure out 2 or more inside the same cell.
thanks :)The JTable tutorial has a section titled "Using a Combo Box as an Editor". Take a look at their example for how to do this.

Updating database after clicking on checkbox-row in a table
Hello,
I would like to update the database as soon as the user clicked on on a checkbox (boolean database entry) in a table.
I tried to set the checkbox-row to 'auto-submit on change' and added the following code to the checkbox1_processValueChange
public void checkbox1_processValueChange(ValueChangeEvent event) {
// Get row
RowKey rk = tableRowGroup2.getRowKey();
//Set
user_has_moduleDataProvider.setValue("right_read",rk,checkbox1.getValue());
usrsDataProvider.commitChanges();
user_has_moduleDataProvider.refresh();
}However, this does not change the database entries.
How can I solve this?
Thanks.
EDIT: sorry, solved. stupidity hit me! I have to use
user_has_moduleDataProvider.commitChanges();of course.
Admin: please delete. thx

Checkbox column in a table problem in getting and setting boolean values
hi Im a newbie in jdeveloper oracle 10g. can anyone help me with jdeveloper adf swing?
I have a table, one of its column is a checkbox that retrieves its value from an oracle database. Oracle doesnt have a boolean datatype. In java, when a column in jtable has a boolean datatype the column automatically becomes checkbox.
I dont know how to manipulate the select and deselect of checkbox.
please met me know.
thanks.Hi thanks for the response, i already do that but im having problem with my view (user interface) it seems that its not working.
i have his code in my view -> Pa.java
jTableCheckClearing.setModel((TableModel)panelBinding.bindUIControl("CheckClearingView",
jTableCheckClearing));
ABSIJTableWrapper.adjustColumnPreferredWidths(jTableCheckClearing);
TableColumnModel colModel = jTableCheckClearing.getColumnModel();
colModel.getColumn(0).setHeaderValue(new String("Type"));
colModel.getColumn(1).setHeaderValue(new String("Description"));
colModel.getColumn(2).setCellRenderer(new ABSINumberRenderer());
colModel.getColumn(3).setHeaderValue(new String("Status"));
colModel.getColumn(4).setHeaderValue(new String("Default"));
How can i see the new column that i added in the view? -
Problems with checkbox (selectBooleanCheckBox) within a table
Hi,
I have a table that is built dynamically and has a link and a selectBooleanCheckbox in every row. (the table has a value binding to a backing bean).
In a certain condition (which i check in the backing bean of the page) i need to set some of the row's checkboxes to "checked", but for some reason i do not manage to do that.
i've tried getting the table, iterate over all of the rows, and set the desired row's checkboxes to "true". but - it does not render the check box as "checked"....
what is the best practice to accomplish this?
Thanks,
Dror

friedman30Hi Frank..
Thanks foy you help... my button have a immediate= true... and in the action have PiPR in the table but when te table is refresh the fields marked with a red color and mark how required.
the propertie required is dependent of a value of boolean checkbox..
When i change the value of checkbox to true.. the propertie required of the field is changes succesfully... but when change the checkbox value to false. the propertie is not changed to false and the field is set to required.

Nested Components - c.CheckBox inside a C.Table ?
Can one nest components ?
For e.g. a c.Table has a row added to it using addRow(). Now a c-component like c.CheckBox has to be added to a cell.Hi Varun,
As far as i have explored, the nesting is not possible. You can add only text & image elements within the table component. However a workaround could be that u place images of check & uncheck instead. And flip them as in when clicked. Hope this is useful.
