Checking for calibration time

I have a requirement to perform a daily calibration of an instrument on a daily basis. The time of calibration must be user configurable. So, what I have done is created a menu item which allows the operator to control the user time. Additionally, I have a file where I store the last calibration time. So, in my routine, I perform the calibration if it has been more than 1 day since the last calibration or the current time is greater than the daily set calibration time. For the latter condition, there is always a possibility that calibration could get performed before the 24 interval is up ie: initially, the daily calibration time was 9pm and then the operator decided to change it to 8am the following morning, so calibration would get run after 11 hours.
However, if I implement the OR condition as follows :
Current Time > Calibration Set Time || Current Time is 1 day older than last calibration time, I run into the problem that the calibration will be executed every time the current time > calibration set time, whereas I only want the calibration to be run once if the time has been changed. I am struggling with the logic of how to implement it. I am looking to the experts or the forum to help me overcome the intellectual roadblock right now.

You could store in the file the next "Expected Calibration" time. This would be set whenever the user updates the test station. This could also be set whenever a calibration is performed (whenever the calibration is performed, set it to 24 hours from now, or the next expected calibration time). You would only need to check if the current time is greater than the Expected Calibration Time.

you can catch CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT.

You can configure XI timeout parameter (for shure in SMICM / Parameter and, if i remeber right, as profile parameter in XI administration).

I have installed itunes 10.7 several times. All goes well. After reboot, I go into itunes and check for updates and it says I need to download the update 10.7! (And so cant sync with my Iphone)

Thank you for getting me started on the track by mentioning "Revo" Uninstaller. The results of "Revo" spoke volumns on why a successful install of ITunes is so difficult to achieve. It is the evil "BONJOUR".
I then tripped upon the following site by Apple and the detailed directions (I read, printed, re-read and followed the instructions. It was intense) brought a successful ITunes, Quick Time and the lovely Bonjour home. Thank you for the start JD42.

How can I set iTunes to check for new podcasts at a specific time of day?

Anybody know a work around for this? I thought it was just a matter of clicking the refresh button at the time I want iTunes to look for new podcasts, but it doesn't seem to be the case...
I want iTunes to look for new podcasts at 2 am every day. So, at 2 am, I clicked the refresh button in the Podcasts section in iTunes. It would then say, in the settings, that iTunes last checked for podcasts at 2 am and will look again at 2 am the next day. Awesome, not. Every single time I try this, iTunes always resets itself and decides to look for podcasts at 2:49 pm. I can't work it out.
So, if anyone has a solution, I would love to hear it! I'm on the latest version. 9.0.2. Thanks for reading.

I'm looking for the solution to this issue too. Once or twice, a full system restart has seemed to solve the problem temporarily but it slips back to an afternoon refresh after a few days.
Seems like it would be simple for Apple to allow us to specify a time of day for refreshes in the preferences section.

I cannot access any of my old purchases. Movies, mainly. It has nothing to do with authorized accounts, I've checked for available downloads a thousands times over. They simply do not exist any longer.

Well, this has been going on for a long time and I've had my absolute fill of it tonight.
I have purchased a large collection of movies from iTunes that for mainly the reason that I have a new computer, my old films no longer exist as downloaded iTunes videos. That being said, I know I should be able to download purchased films as long as they're still on the iTunes store. I cannot download any of them. Tonight I decided to buy a collection that should have allowed me to download all three films (which I had previously owned, but got sick of trying to find a solution to why I cannot redownload them). So tonight, I purchase this collection of three films, downloads the frst one. Theres absolutely no sign of the second or third film and when I select Check for available purchases it says all available purchases have been downloaded.
If this was true, 25+ movies would be available to download, least to say the two missing from tonights purchase (which I have purchased in the past as well).
My account is authorized, everything is alright with my account and I have tried multiple suggestions and am completely lost. Apple support is giving me the run-around.
What do I do?

That can be a problem with the compatibility.ini file in the Firefox profile folder.
Try to rename (or delete) the compatibility.ini file in the Firefox profile folder to see if that helps.

I already cleared the SharePoint cache (xml's) but no success with that.
Environment is
SharePoint 2013 SP1 + CU Dec 2014

This is a brand new SP13 with SP1 installation after binaries installation i also installed Dec 2014 CU and then created the SP farm.
The Apppool/Timer account is member of WSS_ADMIN_WPG.
Issue can be reproduced with restarting SharePoint Timer Service.
Hereby the Process Monitor output. Hence i filtered it on NOT SUCCESS and Path contains the word UPGRADE

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, and then click General.
Open the General pane of Security & Privacy preferences
2. Select “Require password...NEVER after sleep or screen saver begins.” You can adjust the amount of delay before a password is required in the pop-up menu.
From what I am aware, you cannot turn off the keychain.

Firefox checks for updates to add-ons every time it starts?

Every time I click my shortcut to open Firefox, a window pops up. This window scans my installed add-ons and checks for updates. Then, Firefox opens. One of my add-ons, "Zotero Word Integration" tries to install itself every time. If I have an instance of Microsoft Word open, this installation fails, but ultimately, Firefox opens and runs fine. The add-on scan takes approx. 30 seconds, so if I accidentally close FF, it's a big hassle. This first started happening after I updated to FF 8. I downloaded and installed FF7 but the problem persisted. Now, I am back to FF8, but, alas, nothing has changed. None of my other add-ons are having problems except for the ones that aren't compatible with FF8 yet. FYI, I do have Roboform, but it is the current version, both to-go, and everywhere.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Checking for Purchases (Every Time)

Every time I open iTunes 7.2 it asks me for my Apple ID and password so it can check for purchased items. It's super weird. I have no purchased items to download and the "Check automatically for purchased content" is unchecked in the prefs.
I've tried entering my password and hitting "check"... tried hitting "cancel". Nothing works. Tried hitting up the email tech support and was sent articles on authorizing my computer. Thanks Apple.
iTunes still asks for my password and ID every time I open the program. I can still use the program no prob, but it's annoying and leads me to think there's Something Very Wrong.

I fixed it on my machine. I found a file called list.plist in a folder called Downloads in my iTunes Music folder. After I moved this file to the trash, the behavior stopped.
I first verified that I had no other outstanding downloads before I deleted the file. I don't know what will happen if you do have outstanding downloads and delete this file. It would suck to lose music you paid for so proceed with caution.
I think I know what caused it in my case. I tried to buy a drm free album the day they came out. The downloads kept timing out because iTunes was getting slammed. Eventually I was able to get the download to complete but after that I was getting the annoying check for downloads prompt every-time I launched iTunes. The list.plist file I found contains references to the music file names that were timing out.
