Cinema 4d Lite ERROR:  AEGP plugin CINEWARE SceneLayer: CINERENDER - connection failure  5027 :: 12

Folks
I've tried contacting Adobe chat support a day ago with no luck and no answers for this.
I have a workstation at work that is working just fine. My home workstation is what is giving me this error.
Home workstation specs:  i5 cpu, 16gb ram, nvidia quadro k620
The suggestion from Adobe chat support was to uninstall After Effects and re-install. This did not help.
Steps to create:
1. Create new AE project
2. Create new Comp
3. Add new Cinema 4d layer
4. Name and save Cinema file
5. AE hangs for a minute or two then throws this error:
AEGP plugin CINEWARE SceneLayer: CINERENDER - connection failure
5027 :: 12
I see someone else had this identical problem but no where in the thread does anyone give a clue what solved it?
Any ideas from you folks on what I should/could do to fix this?
Thanks a bunch!
Kellie

Look like I've fallen victim to the same issue too.
Thanks for all the posts above.
I can't actually get the Chinaware Effect/Plugin to launch at all in AE so I can't get to the Options settings.
I'm now running on another machine and I'm worried the same problem will occur on that mac too.
Can anybody tell me which other Port Options I can use in this event? I'm clueless when it comes to this sort of issue.
Thanks chaps.

This error comes up whenever I try and make a new .c4d file, edit a preexisting .c4d file, sometimes when I just open aftereffects. When I import a .c4d file the error occurs, but it shows up in my project regardless, but when I try to drag it in, its just a black screen. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Aftereffects twice, and while I've never torrented anything before, I wanted to see if the "official' cinema4d would work, still nothing. When I try to open Cinema4d lite directly from the Program Files folder, it says I'm missing a ddl file, but obviously it wasn't a corrupted install otherwise it would have worked when I re-installed it. I just submitted a bug report to Adobe as well. Anyone got any ideas?
My Computer: Running the latest version of Windows 8.1, on a Desktop computer fully capable of running Cinema 4D without any lag.
Adobe After Effects: Runs perfectly otherwise, Version 13.2.0.49 2014.2 Release, using the Trial Version (28 days remaining, though I full intend to start a subscription as soon as I get this resolved)
Thank you for any help you can give, this has been driving me insane,

Yep! I contacted support, Adobe's support is the worse I've ever had, they have maybe 2 experts available. But I managed to get through and they spent like half an hour, and fixed it. I have to do a workaround that takes like five minutes, and it sucks, but it works. They said its an authentication error, and that once I get the full version (which I will when my trial runs out tomorrow) it should just work. So either spend hours, and I mean 5 or 6 hours, on the phone with support to schedule someone to call you in a week, or get the full version and see if it fixes it.
    Good luck!

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like what versions of AE and C4D.

  • AEGP Plugin CINEWARE SceneLayer: CINERENDER - Close (5027 :: 12)

I get this error everytime I try to ram preview or render my project.
Tried all the troubleshooting I could think of.
Every C4d project I import creates this error.
    I'm on an ASUS LapTop
    i7 2.4
    16 gigs ram
    Nvidia 670m 3gbs
    WIndows 8
Exact same set up on the MAC 10.8.2, works fine.....

Hi, I had the exact same problem, but I solve it :
I just have to desactivate my antivirus when I do a preview/render. My antivirus block the interaction between AE and C4D.
    Solution find on:
details of CINEMA 4D integration with After Effects CC (12.0)
"Depending on your computer’s security settings, you may see some warnings about TCP communication; this is because After Effects and the background CINEMA 4D renderer are communicating using TCP, which some security software may interpret as dangerous malware communication. For example, Mac OS will ask you to confirm if you want to run this software “downloaded from the Internet”. Go ahead and accept the communication between these applications. If you can import a .c4d file, but it fails to render, check your security settings to see if Mac OS Gatekeeper or your firewall are blocking the background CINEMA 4D renderer from functioning and communicating with After Effects. In Mac OS, check the General tab of the Security & Privacy system preferences, and make sure that Allow Applications Downloaded From is set to Anywhere. (Note that the TCP port used is defined in the Options in the CINEWARE effect, and the choice is stored in the After Effects preferences file.)"
    Hope that can help .

  • AEGP Plugin CINEWARE not found (5027::12)

AEGP Plugin CINEWARE SceneLayer: No Cinema 4D Installation was found (5027::12)
but I was using it this morning. How can I get it back, or reinstall it?
I am new to using C4D Lite, and have some other start-up questions (buttons don't do the right thing, there must be some initialization step I'm missing). A little help there would also be appreciated.
I am a Creative Cloud subscriber.
    Thanks in advance.

The C4D install not being found probably means that you have mundane user privilege/ file permission issues or e.g. your virus scanner is blkocking communication with the extern C4D process from within the AE host plug-in. Turn that stuff off and run with sufficient user privileges. The rest is neither here nor there. I know you're gonna hate me for it but as per your own words "buttons don't do the right thing, there must be some initialization step I'm missing" doesn't really strike me like you even bothered to read the help. The least you could do is tell us what buttons you actually pushed. The default UI layout even in teh stripped down version that C4D Lite is has something like 120 visible icons/ buttons... Really nothing personal, but you would do good to at least look up some basic C4D tutorials. The buttons most likely do what they always have done, but you are using them in the wrong way or expect something that they can't do.

  • After Effects: AEGP Plugin TIFFIO: UnExpected End of File (5027 :: 12)

I have a clown render for an animation I am working on (the content is not important). When I duplicate the first layer, flip it horizontally there are no problems when I run a RAM preview. But when I time reverse the layer I get this error message "After Effects: AEGP Plugin TIFFIO: UnExpected End of File (5027 :: 12)". Now in the past this meant that some of the tiff. renders had been corrupted due to copying and pasting the still frames into another folder using windows explorer. So to fix the issue I would simply re-render the still frames to the proper folder which meant I no longer needed to copy and paste the still .tiff files. But now whats different this time is that the error message only pops up when I use the "Layer, Time, Time-Reverse Layer".
This should work. I have done this exact animation at a smaller resolution (800x800). The only difference is now I have re-rendered the same footage at a higher resolution (1424x1424).
Anyone know what causes this issue?

It might be just one file in the sequence that's flakey and it only shows up with reversal, because you may never have actually sampled the frame in normal mode. This might also have shown up during render only, e.g. when rendering with fields would have sampled the frames at a different time. I'd re-check your sequence. As ´TimeRemapper said, it may also be an issue with teh options you chose for saving the TIFFs. In that case running it through an image viewer/converter like XnView or Maya's fcheck utilty might fix the problems...

  • "Error loading Plugins" after installing Silhouette Connect?

    Hello,
I just paid for & installed the plugin for the Silhouette Cameo die cut printer called "Silhouette Connect". Now my illustrator won't open at all, won't force quit, and image is stuck on my home screen. Only way to close it is to do a forced shut down. The error showing says "photoshopimport.aip" Photoshop & InDesign open no problem.

Most probably the plugin is not compatible to your Illustrator version. You need to check that with the developer.

  • AEGP Plugin MediaIO Plugin:MediaIO2 error:0x4 not enough memory to complete this encoding (5027::12)

I am working on a video project in After Effects CS4 (with Trapcode Particular preset) that's 2:12 minutes long on a Windows 7 operating
system. I'm finished editing for the most part, but everytime I put the video in Render Queue it renders the video for a few seconds (sometimes minutes) and then stops with this message appearing: "After Effects logged one error: AEGP Plugin Media IO Plugin: MediaIO2 error: 0x4 not enough memory to complete this encoding (5027::12)". After I closed this message I checked the part of the video that did render was where I saved it to be as a normal file on my Desktop. I made this video with 2 compositions: 1 for the actual importing and editing and the 2nd for the rendering and thinning it out (this is because when I import the footage from my camera it's always very wide in after effects) There is nothing particularly abnormal about the video, not very heavy or anything and most of it isn't animated, just film. The size of the source material for the video is about 4.0 to 8.7MB.
    Computer's Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU  T5500 @ 1.66GHz
    Computer's RAM: 2.00

First of all, CS4 does not work well with non-production codecs like MP4. Use the Adobe Media Encoder (or something similar) to convert your footage to a production codec (Cineform, DNxHD, Quicktime with the Photo JPEG codec or Quicktime with the PNG codec).
Second, you're running AE on a system with only 2 GB of RAM? Good heavens, man - no wonder it ran out of memory! Upgrade that to 4 if at all possible. (Upgrade to much more than that if you have a 64-bit OS and plan to upgrade AE ever. Although, on a machine as old and slow as that, you might be better off getting a new machine if you want to do anything serious in AE.)
Third, what's your exact version number of AE? You should be on 9.0.2 if I recall correctly.
Fourth, your video shouldn't be looking weird in AE. It's probably misinterpreting the pixel aspect ratio of your footage. Fix the interpretation and you shouldn't have to have a separate comp for changing its size.

  • Cinema 4D Lite missing plugins.

When I open a .c4d template on After Effects CC, and go to edit original Cinema 4D Lite opens and it immediately says "Several Plugins used in this project are missing. Saving may cause loss of plugin data!" Then it lists the missing plugins " Plugin 'Global Illumination' (ID 1021096). Plugin 'Cloner' (ID 1018544),Plugin 'MoText' (ID 1019268). Can anyone please find where I can download these plugins or help me?

You can't do anything about the matter. This is stuff that only comes with Cinema 4D Broadcast and Studio. It's not available in Cineware/ C4D Lite.

  • AEGP Plugin Premiere Pro Import: Unknown error

Upon importing my Premiere Pro project into AE, I get the following error:
After Effects: AEGP Plugin Premiere Pro Import: Unknown error. (5027 :: 12)
I'm using PPro 3.1.1 and AE 8.0.2 on Mac OS X 10.5.2. It's a 23.976 project. I've tried copy-pasting the timeline and get the same error. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks,
    Ryan

And if you are working on two macs, when working from the other mac save that file to your local hard drive, then creative cloud will automatically save that file to creative cloud... when you switch mac you will have the updated file in creative cloud! Open the file and when you have finished, save as to your local hard drive, and creative cloud will then again automatically save it to creative cloud! I think the easiest way to look at the cloud is seeing it as a back up so every file you save to your hard drive will be automatically backed up to creative cloud.

  • Rendering Error from Cinema 4d Lite

While trying to render a scene in after effects that i created in cinema 4d of a bar (bear in mind, bars have lots of transparent glass and liquids in them) i get the 'unable to write file' render error. in cinema 4d lite, in my render settings, when i turn off transparency, refraction, reflection, and shadows, the render works. what should i do in order to render in after effects and keep all of my transparency, refraction, reflection, and shadow detail?

REnder to an image sequence. Your Quicktime connection is simply timing out because it takes too long to render a frame. No serious 3D artist would ever render to clip formats directly, anyway.

  • AEGP Plugin SDK_IO Error

I am getting an error message whenever I open after effects CC. Here is the error message.
"After Effects error internal verification failure, sorry! {Unexpected FunctionBlock5 flags for FunctionBlock4} (5024 ::53)"
After I click OK button, i get another message
"AEGP Plugin SDK_IO: Could not register file type. (5027 :: 12).
After another click on OK I get, "AEGP Plugin SDK_IO: There was an error registering the plugin. (5027 :: 12)."
Any idea why are these message popping up?  Even after these errors, I am able to work on AE. But is very annoying. Can somebody give me a solution please. I have not installed any plugin recently.

In my case what was causing the problem was having C4D's exchange plugins: C4DFormat and C4dImporter installed. (Check both your format and extensions folders inside AE's plugins directory as well as in MediaCore)
I recommend you check this discussion http://forums.adobe.com/message/5477522#5477522

  • Element 3D vs. Cinema 4d Lite

With the eventual release of After Effects CS6.5 or CS7 to include integration with Cinema 4d Lite, please discuss the advantages to using the Element 3D plugin. With this upgrade in 3D, is the Element 3D plug in necessary? What are the differences?

I would think C4D can animate too?
Sure you can, but you have no access to the 3D scene data from within AE. It's basically still a 2-step workflow - animate in C4D, use the pre-animated scene to sync with your comp. Matching background plates this way will be a nightmare and is one area where Element can easily scream by C4D Lite/ Cineware. The more elaborate your AE stuff is with lots of effects and expressions, the more it will skew in Element's favor, though of course otehr limitations apply.

  • Cinema 4d Lite not recognizing mouse clicks?

Hello everyone. I've been working on a project in After Effects CC and was reading about the integration of Maxon Cinema 4d Lite. I wanted to try to make my 2D diamond into a 3D model and it seemed the perfect application to do so. Unfortunately, whenever I open the program (I've tried through File - New - Maxon Cinema File...and Layer - New - Maxon Cinema File... and even once a file is technically created, I've tried going to "edit original". I've also tried to export something else as a Maxon Cinema file and then importing it to see if it would work), it doesn't work.
Basically, since try #1 the program doesn't seem to be recognizing my mouse clicks. As soon as I click on a menu it goes away. I can hold down the mouse button, but then I can't choose anything on the menu. I've done all the updates on all software, restarted, shut down, cleaned cache, etc. etc. There was one thing that worked, but it only worked for a mouse click at a time! I found that if I found the application file within my program files (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CC\Support Files\Plug-ins\MAXON CINEWARE AE\(CINEWARE Support)\lite)....if I have Cinema 4d open, and I double click on the .exe file like I'm trying to launch the program, then the program will recognize one mouse click. But if I try to do anything else, it doesn't respond. I could do this all day and night to get my project done but there's GOT to be an easier way!
If anyone has any suggestions, I would gladly give them a try!
Oh, and I'm on a Windows 8.1 64bit computer. If there are any details I didn't include that would be helpful, please let me know. Thank you!

Thank you Mylenium. I wasn't sure what details to provide, but I'll do my best to cover everything you asked about.
As far as the computer, my PC is running Windows 8.1 Pro (64-bit). The hardware is as follows:
         Processor: AMD FX8120 (8-core, 3.10GHz)
         Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX550 Ti
Input Device: Wacom Intuos3 Tablet (using provided mouse, not pen while using C4D)
Memory: 16 GB usable (have 32 installed but haven't spent the time to figure out how to get it all to work with Windows 8)
Screen Resolution: on Monitor #1 (HDMI) and Monitor #2 (Analog) it is set to the recommended 1920 x 1080
I managed to be able to get in to the Preferences within C4d somehow and these are the things I thought might be pertinent:
OpenGL settings: it IS turned ON (Linear, Anti-Alias = 4, Max transparency = 2, Max Lights = 8, Max Shadows = 2, and Use Shader Cache is checked)
Memory settings: the cache is defaulted to the C drive. I set my cache in AE to the B drive, which I would prefer but I C4d won't let me change this at the moment)
Input Devices: PSR Cursor = False, Tool Cursor = true, Mouse Move Activation = True, Graphics Tablet = False, Hi-Res Tablet = True, Open Commander Dialog on Mouse Position = True
I'm thinking the fact that the Graphics tablet is unchecked in C4d might be the issue? I can try to change it with the trick I originally mentioned, but let me know if there is anything else you see that you think might help. Did I miss anything? I really appreciate it! Thank you.
