Citrix client connection not working
Hi
I have a Wireless-g broadband router (wrt54gs) and i want to connect to citrix. I can ping the remote host but I can not connect to it using my citrix client. (not with LAN not with WIFI). If I put my computer directly behind the internet I can connect in a second to citrix.
I have already opened a bunch of ports 1640 1494 2598 2513 2512 1433 by adding these ports in the "port range forward" section.
Could somebody point me in the right direction.
Regards
Horaces
hmmm.... ive never worked with this but lets see...
what kinda authentication is ur citrix program using...
try this...
on the basic setup page of the router GOTO >> MAC Address Clone...
clone your PC's MAC and save...
might just help... will research this and get back...
cheers...
Life is short... So get movin !!!

BPC 7.5 Admin Client Links Not Working
I am working in BPC 7.5 SP15 NW. I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit and now the links in the action pane in the desktop admin client are not working. The cursor does not change from the nornal pointer to the hand. That would indicate that the admin client is no longer recognizing them as links. The links work fine in the desktop Excel client. I am using 32-bit Excel 2010 with no other version of Office installed.
Has anyone heard of this behavior and how to correct for it?Hi Kannan,
i think this is a Osoft web site configuration issue, the error indicates that you have one duplicate section in the web site configuration file (web.config).
If you didn't alter the web.config file then the problem may occur because when you use framework 4.0, the machine config already has some of the sections defined that were used in previous ASP.NEt versions.
You should check which version of the MS Framework is configured for the application pool of the web site, change it to v2.
Let me know if this solves the issue. Or if you need more help to resolve it.
Kindest regards, -
[solved] NFS client will not work correctly
I have all my $HOME on an NFS Server. So long I used suse and debian, now I want switch to arch but the nfs-client ist not working correctly:
I start "portmap nfslock nfsd netfs" over rc.conf. When I do a "rpcinfo -p <ip-arch-system>" I got the following
stefan:/home/stefan # rpcinfo -p 192.168.123.3
Program Vers Proto Port
100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper
100000 2 udp 111 portmapper

As you see "status" is missing, so the statd is not running. It sould look like the result on my suse box:
stefan:/home/stefan # rpcinfo -p 192.168.123.2
Program Vers Proto Port
100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper

100021 1 tcp 35804 nlockmgr
100021 3 tcp 35804 nlockmgr
100021 4 tcp 35804 nlockmgr
There is the "status" line and so the statd is running.
How can I fix that problem, so that statd ist running on my arch box too?
Last edited by stka (2007-06-10 15:59:48)The Problem ist solved.
I use ldap for authentication. During the setup of the ldapclient I copied the nsswitch.ldap to nsswitch.conf. But the line for "hosts:" was:
hosts: dns ldap
but in my dns ist no localhost entry. After I changed this line to:
hosts: files dns ldap
everything was ok. The statd is now running and I can start to migrate to archlinux ;-) -
Camera connection not working with my camera
Camera connect not working with my Sony boggie camera
The Bloggie will not work because it draws too much power from the USB port on the iPad. The solution is to interpose a powered USB hub between the Bloggie and the iPad - connect the Bloggie to the powered hub, then connect the hub to the ipad accessory. Works fine with my 3D Bloggie.

X-Fi Titanium PCI Express front pannel connection not working
<font face="verdana, geneva" size="3">I can not get any signal to or from the front pannel connector of my X-Fi Titanium PCI Express. (The rear jacks are working fine.)
<font face="verdana, geneva" size="3">The front header cable from my Antec P-80B worked perfectly with my onboard motherboard sound. Now that I have it connected to my X-Fi I get nothing from the jacks on the front of my case. (The onboard sound is disabled in my BIOS.)? I've double and tripple checked the connection and it is properly keyed and fitted. Is there a step or a setting that I'm missing somewhere to get this working? Can anyone confirm that the front pannel connection is acti've on the X-Fi Titanium PCI Express?Re: X-Fi Titanium PCI Express front pannel connection not working? I was truly hoping that would help and I wanted to give you some additional hope. I have a coolermaster case, and it has the AC97 jack on the inside with all my other other front panel connectors for hard dri've activity light, reset, and power on. Three inches down from the AC97 jack, the INTEL HD *which works beautifully with the X-FI, only differs by three wires in different locations and the two pinouts configurations match those of the INTEL site identically.
Please tell me what happens as I would like to post a step by step guide for the others here in the forum. You will know when you have successfully adapted the connector because in VISTA and Windows 7, your sound applet in control panel will have a display of the connectors "lit up" when they are successfully connected. Mine shows FP microphone in the applet when its plugged in, and grayed out when its not. Its great for telling if I am connected on the rear of the soundcard of the front.
Best of luck and .......

Connect a Client Computer Not Working At All
I have a new Windows 7 clean install with updates that is not able to connect to SBS 2011 at all.
In the past (about 2 years ago) I ran into the same problem and by following the simple steps outlined here - http://blog.ronnypot.nl/?p=594 - it worked no problem. Now it does not help at all.
For a test, I took a spare machine and did a clean install of SBS 2011, applied the updates (except NET 4.5.1). When I tried to connect the new Windows 7 machine to the new SBS 2011 machine - this also has failed.Server's ipconfig /all

Corporate connectivity not working for some users
Hi,
I'm having an issue that started about a month ago but is getting worse. A select group of users are no longer able to connect using DirectAccess, even though these users have been using their computers for a few months without issue.
BACKGROUND:
-Windows 2008 R2 DirectAccess server
-Windows 7 x64 enterprise clients
-Most clients experiencing the issue have a newer laptop (Lenovo T440 with Intel 7260AC wireless), but the issue is not limited to this model. Also, I have 25+ other Lenovo T440 units that connect without issue to this day.
TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:
I have tried disabling the various interfaces used for directaccess on these problem machines and have not been able to narrow it down. Essentially- I've noticed the IP-HTTPS interface shows deactivated, so I'll disable Teredo. This
usually allows the IP-HTTPS to show activated, and connectivity is restored. However, after 30 seconds to a few minutes, connectivity will once again drop. So I'll re-enable teredo (default, client, or enterprise client) and connectivity will kick
on for another brief period, but drops again shortly after.
I have confirmed that during these short periods of connectivity working, the wf.msc shows connectivity using NTLM and Kerberos, but the clients just can't seem to stay connected on any interface.
However, in the wf.msc when the clients are not functioning, I only ever see one NTLM entry.LOGS:
Below is a directaccess client log pulled from a non-functioning client before making any changes or any testing. Feel free to ask for the rest of the log if needed-- I have put in place holders for information that may be sensitive. Thank you!!
RED: Corporate connectivity is not working.
Windows is unable to relocationve corporate network names. Please contact your administrator if this problem persists.

FTP client is not working in active mode
Hi,
I have a ftp issue trying to download iweb files.
My provider enabled me a ftp access.
I tried to connect to it with transmit or rbrowser ftp client (passive mode disabled). The connection works well but i can not retrieve the list of files.
However using my PC and filezilla ftp client in active mode, the connection did work properly.
Any idea to help make this connection work on my mac ?
ThanksPerhaps this will help...
http://slacksite.com/other/ftp.html
"The main problem with active mode FTP actually falls on the client side. The FTP client doesn't make the actual connection to the data port of the server--it simply tells the server what port it is listening on and the server connects back to the specified port on the client. From the client side firewall this appears to be an outside system initiating a connection to an internal client--something that is usually blocked." -
L2TP VPN connection not working under 10.6.3
Hi everyone.
I need to connect to a VPN with L2TP/IPSec.
The connection works fine if I boot into Bootcamp (win7).
But if I boot into 10.6.3, it does not work.
any idea what the problem could be.
Settings are triple checked and copy pasted into their proper fields (like in win7). router settings are correct, otherwise it would not work in win7.
So it is a problem with osx.
The following is out of the ppp.log:
Thu Apr 22 19:14:03 2010 : L2TP connecting to server 'vpn.xxx.com' (x.x.x.x)...
Thu Apr 22 19:14:03 2010 : IPSec connection started

Thu Apr 22 19:14:04 2010 : IPSec phase 2 started
Thu Apr 22 19:14:34 2010 : IPSec connection failed
the server is reachable, but something fails in phase 2.
in the system log, the entry is:

Document library open in client application not working for img, pdf, txt files
In an office 365 sharepoint site i have enabled open in client applicartion for document library but it is not working for image/txt/pdf files for word and excel files it is working fine. I have even turned on the feature open document in client application
by default from site collection features also but there is no change.
Please advice.
Regards,
ChaitanyaHi Chaitanya,
The feature is currently designed to be used with HTTPS, and will not work as expected with the HTTP connection available on Office 365 for professionals and
small businesses sites.
To take advantage of this update, do the following steps:
Wait for the update to the SharePoint Online service, which is in progress now.
Upgrade Adobe Reader to the version 10.1.2 client.
Add your SharePoint Online root URL/domain to the Trusted Sites security zone in Internet Explorer1 (e.g.,
https://contoso.sharepoint.com).
Check the Keep me signed in box when you log in to a SharePoint Online site.
This
SharePoint Online update is currently
being rolled out worldwide along with several other new features.
Best regards.
Thanks
Victoria Xia

DCA reports connectivity not working
I am facing strange issue , Direct access connection is established fine only DCA client reports corporate connectivity is not working correctly , any guess ?
Can you give more details?
0. What clients do you have (Win7?) and what server side OS is there (W2K8R2/W2K12R2)?
1. So all the GPO DA CA settings (except script admin) are set in GPO and distributed to clients?
2. Does this happen only when your client is in Internet?
3. Does your Connectivity Assistant shows red cross or yellow exclamation mark?
4. Have you tried to run Microsoft Windows DirectAccess Client Troubleshooting Tool (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=41938)?
5. Have you tried connecting with 3G/LTE router instead of home wifi network?
6. Have you checked which transition method is used when this issue occurs (6to4, iphhtps, teredo?)
7. Have you tried disabling 6to4 (netsh interface 6to4 set state disabled ) ?
8. Any other mention-worthy observations?

Gateway#Dear All,
I have Cisco 1841 router running the below roles
1) SSL VPN Server
2) PPTP Server
3) Site to Site Connection with Sonicwall router
I want the router to be configured a pptp client to internet vpn server (so that i will get a fixed public ip )
Once i get this ip address i want to use this connection to accept in coming connection and forward ports to internal host,
I went through below
http://www.mreji.eu/content/cisco-router-pptp-client
https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2167562
But it does not work as i do not have the option for the below 2 commands in vpdn-group 2 section.(Please see section in blue)
protocol pptp
rotary-group 4
Please Advise and Help
Regards
Hasan Reza

Client Push not working - Error 67, 5 & Install issues
HI Everyone
I cannot push the CCM Client to our computers. You can manually install ccmsetup.exe on the client, and everything works. There are no firewall issues. I can get to the admin$ drive from the server to the client. But when I push down
the client, it comes up with error 67(---> ERROR: Unable to access target machine for request: "16777219", machine name: "CM-1208-O-CCB1", access denied or invalid network path.)
The account I am using is a domain administrator, in the domain admin group. The only way I can get push to work is to add our SCCM server to the clients admin group. Then push works fine.
So its a permissions thing, but I can't figure out how to resolve it without adding our server to the domain admin group in AD. We don't want to do this for security reasons.
We have not installed the Extended AD Schema; but I doubt that is the issue.
Can someone suggest something to help me fix this problem? What am I missing?
Thanks
ChadHere is the most recent log.
The files copy over now, but nothing happens after that. There is a WMI error, but I've disabled the firewall, and enabled remote WMI administration. However, I do not think that is preventing it from installing.

Here is the log from the client machine. Now it seems it can't find the DP.. Would this have anything to do with not having AD Schema extended or just a DNS problem?

T500 Ethernet Connection Not working, but wireless is working
Hi
In my laptop, when I try to connect to internet using the Ethernet card, it is not working.
My laptop has the following configuration.
T500; Windows Vista 64
Ethernet card: Intel(R) 82567LM Gigabit Network Connection
Following are what I observed.
1. From command prompt, when I executed the command ipconfig, it is not listing the ethernet adapter connection.
C:\Windows\system32>ipconfig /all

2. Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections : Under this, when I list all the connection, the Ethernet connection is showing it as Enable.
3. When I unplug the network cable, at Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections, I see the status as Cable Unplugged..
4. I downloaded the latest driver and installed, but didnt change this behavior.
How can I fix this ethernet issue. Any help is deeply appreciated.
Thanks,

Thank you for your reply.
Yeah, it is listed under the Device Manager.
I see one potential error under the event viewer. Thank you for that pointer.
The IP address lease 192.168.0.11 for the Network Card with network address 00216A1A24B2 has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.0.1 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).
Any idea why this is coming???
I get that exact same error when I change my MAC address and my computer is trying to connect to my router.
This message is probably just the result of your computer not recognizing your Ethernet Adapter.
I have never had this problem and am just shooting in the dark, but I would say you either have a bad Ethernet card, or your Adapter is not configured correctly.
I keep wanting to go back to your adapter in the Device Manager.
Is the Device Status "This Device is working Properly"?
Under Power Management, is the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" unchecked?
Are you downloading the drivers from Lenovo's website?
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-70199
Have your tried Uninstalling the adapter, and reboot.
Your system may automatically reinstall the adapter. If not, you can manually reinstall it.

SELECT * CONNECTION not work
Hi,
It is found that SELECT * does not work with CONNECTION. For example, I use the following statement to retrieve data from another system and an error states that SQL error 207 when accessing table 'MARA'. 'Invalid column name 'ANIMAL_ORIGIN''. If columns are specified, data can then be retrieved. The SAP BASIS version is 7.31.
SELECT SINGLE *
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF ls_mara
FROM MARA
CLIENT SPECIFIED
CONNECTION ('G01')
WHERE MANDT = '100'.Hi TS,
You gave the answer already, but look at the HELP:
To allow the Open SQL command to be run for the secondary database connection, the table definitions in the connection must be the same as those in the standard database.
