CJE0 - REMOVE A VARIABLE FROM TAB 'VARIABLES'

Hi ,
I'm modifying a custom report creat by third party . I'm not able to remove the variable Object currency (it's shown in the selection screen of the report) as I don't see any button which lets me change(also in change mode) , the variables present into tab 'Variables' (between Characteristics, and OutputType).

Hi,
One option i found is you need to go to the form and when you double click on the rows it will give you an option to flip to something else. For example i created a report with transaction currency and it appeared as a variable. Later i went in tothe form and flip to object currency. Hope this helps.

I am again presented with a troubling problem:
Take a 3 tabs app based on the tab Bar Application Template.
I am creating and displaying a label on tab 2 depending on an input from tab1 (a UIActionSheet with index 0 or 1)
if index 0 is selected on tab1 Actionsheet, no label should be displayed on tab 2,
if index 1 is selected on tab1 Actionsheet, a label (called here "appearingLabel") should be displayed on tab 2
In order to avoid memory leaks and confusion, my approach is to destroy the label (if it was created) upon tab2 view's dissappearance :
- (void)viewDidDisappear:(BOOL)animated
if (appearingLabel == nil)
NSLog(@"no label appearinglabel..."); //for debugging purposes
else
[appearingLabel removeFromSuperview];
things start to work OK , but after a couple of switches from tab1/change in Actionsheet choice/tab2 : tab1..., I get en exception that "removeFromSuperview is called on a released object...
According to the code above, how can that be ? Shouldn't

only be called if appearingLabel exists ? (not == nil) ?,?

works perfectly...
I tried to replicate the
if (cell == nil)
line used in tableviews to create the cell that will be reused if it was not created yet...
I will explore this issue further, but in the mean time, you got it to work !

Removing Key Date from variable input screen

You would need to open the query and remove this variable from the query definition, or if you need this variable and then remove the ready for input check mark from the variable definition.

You can use Function Module <b>'CONVERSION_EXIT_MATN1_OUTPUT'</b>
This Function Module will eliminate leading Zeros.
For each MATNR Value read form DB Table,u can eliminate Leading zeros and then modify ur Internal table.
I think u will not get leading Zeros into utr Internal table when u read from VBAP.
Bcoz MATNR in VBAP itself have Conversion routine.
If u r getting leading zeros,U can use following Logic.
tables:
vbap.
data:
   t_vbap like standard table of vbap.
select matnr
from vbap
into corresponding fields of table t_vbap.
loop at t_vbap into vbap.
CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERSION_EXIT_MATN1_OUTPUT'
      EXPORTING
        INPUT         = vbap-matnr
      IMPORTING
        OUTPUT        = vbap-matnr
modify t_vbap from vbap transporting matnr.
endloop.

Oh well, it was a good thought.
Unfortunately each line of raw original text may contain from 1 to 4 lines of final text. In other words there is no consistency in the number of backslashes (hard returns) in each line of original text, and thus, when backslashes are converted to commas, no consistency in the number of data elements in each data set.
Sadly PS variables will not handle finding a source text line that does not have data for 4 variables. So I either have to go back and add enough commas on each short line to make four individual data elements for each data set... or I simply deal with the hard returns within Photoshop.
I think I've reached the limit of automation on this process.

How do I remove an app from "Updates" tab

So here is the rub, I installed the free 1.69v of DropCopy on my MacBookPro by mistake. I am already a Multi-License user. How do I remove an app from "Updates" tab, in the App Store? When i tried to use it it reverts back to the free version.

How to use about:config to REMOVE Delta Search from my new tab

I am desperate to remove Delta Search from my new tab page. What do I do after I open about:config? I have done at least a dozen resets, have removed DS via add/remove, am running a virus scan at present...this is TERRIBLE, and there HAS to be a way to get rid of it. When I do a reset, the new tab page is what I WANT...my previously saved pages. However, when I CLOSE FF and reopen, the new page is, once again, Delta. Can you hear me SCREAM? Can you see my TEARS? Remove local variables

I have created a custom edit step (LabVIEW VI) in which the user can create a Local, StationGlobal or FileGlobal variable to store some data in. When the user hits the "add" button an event is triggered and the variable is created. I want the user to be able to hit the "remove" button and cause an event to be triggered that removes the variable. Is this possible, or do I need to specify that the user removes the variable manually? The front panel and add portion of the block diagram is attached.

PFCG issue - removing transaction codes from menu and not clearing up the authorization tab

I’m using SAP ERP version ECC6 and EHP5 and also we have updated our system with the PSCD FI module.
I’m having the following issue in PFCG transaction code - I have created a new single role by copied other or from scratch and added few transaction codes into the menu. After that, I went in the authorization tab using the "Change Authorization Data" and I felled all the missing information until the role was green out. I generated the role then I totally went out. I come back to the same role that I created earlier and I did removed all the transaction codes from the menu and I did find the following:
- the Authorization tab light didn't change from green to red
- I went into the Authorization tab by "Change Authorization Data" and a part of the objects were still in.
Normally behave should be:
- when we remove one transaction code from the menu the light from Authorization tab should change from green to red. When you empty the menu then the light color should change also, but the authorization tab should be also empty.
Could please give me some idea how to do it next?

Most of the times standard roles contains manually added authorization objects. When ever you are creating a new role by copying the existing standard role so by default, these objects will come in to new role.
Now, coming to your role. After removing t code from role if nothing has changed in Authorization tab means.
Here are the possible reasons.
1. The t code which you have removed might not have any checked and maintained authorization objects, that's why your Authorization tab still in unchanged.
2. Rememeber, when ever you are adding or removing t code from menu always use expert mode for profile generation option along with "Read old status and merge with new data" Option.
This will bring the all checked and maintained data for each t code.
3. After removing the t codes from menu and if you generate the Authorization tab by using expert mode option still if you find authorization objects means, those are manually added authorization objects that's why those were not removed.
I hope this will give some clue to your issue.

Where and how should i change the provider.xml file.
If not this how can I setShowEdit(False) which is one of the methods in MutablePortlet interface.How can i find this code related to Stock portlet.I mean where can we have access this code where the provider API's are used for some of the readymade portlets that oracle provides.

Hi,
I see two things that you could try :
first try to set the security level at the portlet level, then allow users to display your portlet, not to customize it. I know it's possible with tabs, maybe it can apply to you.
Else you also can modify the package of your portlet (or the provider.xml file if it's not the package). You should read the pl/sql code and find the variable concerning the customization link in the rendering part. It may be set to 'tru', just set it to 'false' and recompile.
I've done it when installing some portlets and it works : that way I could translate the portlet in franch, remove the help link, remove the detail link, and so on...

Remove text field from Array via for loop

i have a problem to remove text fields added via for loop.
That im doing is, via for loop im dynamically creating menu with 10 buttons.
Each button contain, dynamically created, background (shape) and text field.
And everything is fine.
But when im try to remove text fields then i got this error:

How to remove a node from nlb at runtime?

hello,
i need to temporally exclude a node from an nlb.
May happen that a server is up and working but the web application i'm balancing is out of sinch with the same application in the others nodes.
Eg. some static variables are not the same of the same static variables of other nodes, because of a timeout, a write error and so on but the server is still working.
in this case i need to stop the server from nlb because the information in the web application is not in sinch with other nodes.
I need to prevent users from being serverd from this out to date server, untill it will became updated, but i need to do this programmatically
how can i do it?

will work.
