Classification data not creating in MM01

I am having a strange problem.
While creating a material using MM01, I select the views Basic Data1 & 2, purchasing, classification & accounting 1.
In the classification view, for class type 023 I enter a class, say ZCLASS.
After I hit enter, characterstics assigned to this class are displayed. I select the values for the characterstics & proceed with creating other views & save it. I select the batch managed check box in purchasing view as well before saving.
Now, when I go to MM02 or MM03 & display the classification data, theres nothing in there.
No class, no characterstics.
But if I enter the class ZCLASS again in MM02 for the material & save it and then display it, I can see the classification data.
I am wondering what is happening with the transaction MM01.
I have tried this with class type 001 as well but it didn't help.
Do I have to always go to MM02 after MM01 to have the purpose solved or can it be done directly the first time.
Would appreciate your help.

Mohan,
The first time you enter MM02 or MM03, you will typically have to choose which of the available Classes you wish to display (since there are many, and the system has no idea what you want to see).  Once you have selected this, the system will usually remember which one you looked at the last time, and will default to this for the next material that you change/display.  This behavior is standard.  Each time you log onto SAP, you will usually have to make this choice for the first MM02/MM03 you do each day.
I believe you are properly creating and saving your ZCLASS data during the MM01 session.  I believe that nothing is wrong.
The test is to immediately go from MM01 to MM03 and display the Classification view of the Material you just entered.  Enter the class.  If the data you just entered appears, then you are good to go.

  • BP - default and check classification data at CREATE/SAVE using BDT + BADI

    Hi,
    I do have several requirements around Business Partners and BDT.
    1. When a BP is created, I want to default certain fields depending on what BP role is maintained, specifically I am looking at fields on the classification tab (BDT application CRMD).
    --> I do not want to use transaction variants.
    --> I want to use the BDT or implement a BADI (which I don’t think does exist)
    2. When a BP is saved, I want to check whether certain fields have certain values – depending on the BP role.
    --> Field selection is not sufficient.
    --> I tried using the BDT calling own function modules at different events – without success. When I call function module CRM_BUPA_FRG0040_GET_DETAIL to get current classification data at DCHCK, structure ls_frg0040 is not updated yet.
    At a later event I can not stop the save.
    Is there a way to force an update of memory, so that function module CRM_BUPA_FRG0040_GET_DETAIL returns current values.
    --> I also tried BADI BUPA_FURTHER_CHECKS, but it is not called at all.
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Can anyone send me the BDT cookbook at [email protected]?
    Thanks in advance,
    Juergen

    Hi Juergen,
    From the BADI stand-point (and assuming dialog usage).
    1/ You have:
    BUPA_INITIAL_SCREEN  "Initial Screen for BP creation"
    You should even be able to set a particular tab to which you want to navigate and then fill in the relevant fields, prior to having the screen completely painted.
    2/ You have badi's"
    A - PARTNER_UPDATE "Business Partner"
    and
    B - BUPA_GENERAL_UPDATE  "Business Partner General Data"
    when performing updates to the partner.
    Looking at the call stack (reading bottom-up) these BADIs are called a the points shown, both with the change-before-update method:
    --> B
    10 GENERAL_BADI_CALL
    9 BUP_BUPA_EVENT_DSAVE
    8 EVENT_DSAVE
    7 BDT_DATA_SAVE
    6 SAVE_GLOBAL_MEMORY
    5 SAVE_GLOBAL_MEMORY
    --> A
    4 COMMIT_MAINTENANCES
    3 TAKE_OVER_AND_SAVE
    2 TAKE_OVER_AND_SAVE_AND_RELOAD
    1 ON_SAVE

  • Batch Classification data not getting updated during the GR of the PO

    Dear Gurus,
    While doing the GR of the Purchase order the classification data for the batch should get updated .However we can see those data in MSC2N (Change batch) but not in MSC3N (Display Batch) .While consultuing with SAP we found that the data in MSC3N is directly picked in the AUSP table but the data in MSC2 N  reads the information directly from the
    reference table field (MCH1-LWEDT & MCH1-LIFNR .My Qusetion is why this the AUSP entries are not getting updated during the GR itself.
    Sumit Mohan

    Hi Sumit,
    I am not sure about your question, but if you want to populate the classification data during goods receipt then you need to maintain characteristics values in material master for classification tab under class type batch i.e. 022. After then it will apper during goods receipt for characteristics value for batch.

  • Data Services wizard not creating service

    I am having huge problems with the Data Services wizard.
    I am using Flash Builder 4.6 on a Mac (10.7.2).
    Over the last year I have been working on a couple of proof of concept projects and now want to start work on a production version starting from scratch in a new project.
    The Data Services wizard has worked fine for me in the past, but now I am having serious problems.
    The first problem is the Data/Services window does not update when I create a new service with the wizard. (I am connecting to the Zenfolio Web Service.) If have to close the project and open it before I see the new service in the Data/Services window.
    While this problem is more an inconvenience, more seriously the wizard does not create either the "services" folder or the "valueObjects" folder as it did in the past.
    Now if I right click on a method in the service and select "Create Service Call", it creates the Call Responder but not the call itself.
    The relevant log entry starts with
    !ENTRY com.adobe.flexbuilder.dcrad 4 1 2012-01-12 22:39:20.962
    !MESSAGE Component type services.zfapi.Zfapi not found.
    If I create a "services" folder and copy the zfapi package from one of my previous projects, all works fine.
    This probably gives me a workaround - although I haven't tested this to any extent yet.
    It is very strange and worrying behaviour though.
    regards
    Chris

    OK, here are the log entries created when I try to create the service:

  • Photoshop CC on Windows 7 is saving the file "date" as the created date not the modified date

    I have been using a much older version of PS (CS2) and just decided to update to PS CC. I have installed the trial version of PS CC and will begin the CC subscription as soon as the trial expires.
    I have noticed that PS CC saves the (main) date of the files as the "created date" not the "modified date" as it pertains to Windows Explorer and the Windows OS.
    Here is what is happening: I have a file that I created in 2007 that I use for a template. It is sized to specific dimensions, etc. and when I do my save as, it automatically saves into the desired file folder, so that's why I use this as a template. I setup a new photo and then drag and drop it into my template, flatten the image and save as. When doing this with PS CS2, the date for the newly saved file was assigned as the modified date (current date and time). So, when I searched for the file in Windows Explorer or when I went to open the file, the date shown for the file was the modified date. NOW, with PS CC when I perform the exact same process and do a save as, the file date shown in Windows Explorer and/or when I go to open the file is showing as the created date (3/9/2007), the date that I created and saved the template I use. This is aggravating to me because now when I want to open a file and sort by date, the date shown in Windows Explorer is not accurate. As far as I can tell, this only happens in PS CC. When I open an old file with ID CC and do a save as, it applies the current date, not the created date. And, when I was using PS CS2, whenever I did a save as the current date was applied as well.
    In summary, when performing a save as, the created date is being applied as the main date instead of the modified date. The question is: Is there a way to change this so that the modified date can be applied as the main date for the file when performing a save as?

    Below are two files created the exact same way on the exact same computer: the top one was saved in PS CS2 and the bottom one was saved in PS CC. Both were saved using the "Save As" command. You will notice that when the "Save As" command was used in CS2 it updated the "Created:" date, however, in the CC version the "Created:" date was not updated, only the "Modified:" date was updated. Is there a way to update the "Created:" date when performing a "Save As" in PS CC?

  • Posting Document not created (export data missing)

    We are working on ECC 6.0 and during creation of Cancellation Billing document type IVS for the Intercompany billing, the document did not create Accounting document giving the Posting status as G - Posting document not created (export data missing). However checked the Foreign trade data and the system states that Foreign trade is complete.
    Can any one suggest the solution for this?
    Thanks.

    Hello Mohammad,
    About this issue, the incompletion of this cancellation document
    arises might because the reference delivery has been archived/deleted.
    This is likely due to your current copy control settings (VTFL).
    If you have set ' ', in the export determination field this means that
    there is a common 'exnum' key between the delivery and billing documents
    LIKP-EXNUM & VBRK-EXNUM are the same.
    The result of deleting the delivery is that you also delete the FT data
    for the delivery, Because the billing document and delivery share the
    same foreign trade table entries, you have in effect deleted the FT data
    of the billing document too. This would most likely go unnoticed but if
    you then cancel the invoice the system has no FT to copy into the new
    cancellation billing document, which leads to this issue.
    Firstly you should set the export determination flag in the copy control
    of the delivery & billing documents. This will avoid this issue in the
    future. Set it to to 'A' or 'B' depending on your requirements.
    For the incomplete cancellation billing document, you could use userexit to
    set it as complete:
    You can use transaction CMOD.
    Create a project for example FT project button create short text: ....
    drop button Enhancement assignment & save use for example local object.
    Use the F4-help for Enhancement and look for V50EPROP.
    Drop button Components:
    here you will find EXIT_SAPLV50E_005 and EXIT_SAPLV50E_006
    In the userexits doubleclick on the includes ZXV50U05 and ZXV50U06
    The coding in the userexits should be: C_COMPLETE = 'X'.
    Afterwards activate generate ... and save.
    The development class is VEI.
    Please also check note 118573 which explains the FT user exits.

    Alex

    Hi,
    I am trying to migrate an MS SQLServer 2000 database to Oracle 9i. When i try to do offline capture of the MS SQL Server database am getting one error which is preventing me from creating the OMWB repositry.
    SS2K_SYSOBJECTS.dat has not been created.
    The only other error what i can see is
    SQLState = S0022, NativeError = 207
    Error = [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid column name 'NAME'.
    SQLState = 37000, NativeError = 8180
    Error = [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Statement(s) could not be prepared.
    Please help me

    Tony,
    SS2K_SYSOBJECTS.dat is created by:
    bcp "select CAST(name AS VARCHAR(128)), '%5', id, '%5', CAST(xtype AS VARCHAR(2)), '%5', uid, '%5', info, '%5', status, '%5', base_schema_ver, '%5', replinfo, '%5', parent_obj, '%5', CONVERT(CHAR(50), crdate, 111), '%5', ftcatid, '%5', schema_ver, '%5', stats_schema_ver, '%5', CAST(type AS VARCHAR(2)), '%5', userstat, '%5', sysstat, '%5', indexdel, '%5', CONVERT(CHAR(50), refdate, 111), '%5', version, '%5', deltrig, '%5', instrig, '%5', updtrig, '%5', seltrig, '%5', category, '%5', cache, '%5', '%6' from %3.dbo.sysobjects where NAME <> 'dtproperties'" queryout %3\SS2K_SYSOBJECTS.dat -c -e %3\SS2K_SYSOBJECTS.ERR -U%1 -P%2 -S%4
    Does your master.dbo.sysobjects or <database_name>.dbo.sysobjects contain a NAME field?
    (The %<number> references are arguments to the script including row and column delimiters).
    Can you send in more details whether the NAME field exists and what version of SQLServer2K you are using?

  • Delivery should not create with out company code data

    Hi all,
              We have created a customer master without company code data with T code VD01 and subsequently created sales order and delivery with PGI and invoice also saved but no accounting document is getting generated. But we want to stop at delivery only; system should not allow creating delivery. Please do the needful
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Nagesh

    hi nagesh,.
    from standard SAP it might not be possible.
    but check this work around:
    after creating the COMPANY CODE DATA by the marketing people only you please go ahead and create a delivery till that time the sales order will be in open status.
    if you want to stop it through the SAP system:
    then you need to contact TECHNICAL PERSON on the same:
    MV45AFZZ : USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE for checking while creating a delivery if not created then to throw an ERROR message - this is the only probability to check
    but he may not be having solution for your query.
    except the work around.
    please check and confirm

  • Pl/sql Procedure is Not Creating With the CLOB data Type

    Hi,
    I am Using Oracle 10g Express Edition Release2.... My Doubt is While creating a table With CLOB Data Type the table is created successfully,but while Creating a Procedure With the CLOB Data type i am getting an Error Message
    2667/5 PL/SQL: Statement ignored
    2667/24 PLS-00382: expression is of wrong type
    then i tried With the Varchar2(30000) the Procedure is Created Successfully note i have not changed any thing in my code except the data type.
    I am Just Confused ......Why the Procedure is not Created with CLOB Data type?
    Please advice ...
    Thank U
    SHAN

    hi,
    Thanks for reply....Another Example
    CREATE TABLE USER_MAS (USER_ID     VARCHAR2 (20 Byte),MAIL_ID     VARCHAR2 (255 Byte));
    set serveroutput on
    declare
    atable varchar2(64) := 'USER_MAS';
    acolumn varchar2(64) := 'MAIL_ID';
    avalue varchar2(64) := 'NEWYORK' ;
    dyn_sql clob;
    begin
    dyn_sql := 'update '||atable||' set '||acolumn||' = '''||avalue|| '''' ;
    dbms_output.put_line(dyn_sql);
    execute immediate dyn_sql;
    end;
    commit ;
    Error at line 2
    ORA-06550: line 9, column 23:
    PLS-00382: expression is of wrong type
    ORA-06550: line 9, column 5:
    PL/SQL: Statement ignored
    When i Changed the Data type to varchar2(64)
    update USER_MAS set MAIL_ID = 'NEWYORK'
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    Commit complete.
    I like to Know the Reason Why the Procedure is Not Created in Oracle 10g XE DB
    Note :the Same Script i used in 11g DB the Procedure is Created Successfully....
    Why you need use CLOB or VARCHAR2 in your temp_num variable as you sending parameters as number?
    In the Procedure we are create some run time queries while executing the procedure. There are around 10 run time queries created.
    The size of each query is more than 4000 characters . We then add all the queries using union all after each query  to the clob variable as the normal varchar will not support.
    Please Advice
    Thank U

  • Imported pictures list in events as card name and not creating events by date

    Trying to import my photos off a canon card into iPhoto. I clicked the card named 100Canon in my finder after selecting import in iPhoto. Instead of creating an event for each date, as there are about 10 days of photos on this card, iPhoto created one event called 100CANON and dropped every photo into that event. When I go into the file on iPhoto and select a picture, it shows the date the photo was taken.
    Why did it not create an event for each day? I dumped my iPhone photos in and it separated each day as an event.
    Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?

    What have you selected in the iPhoto preferences for items imported from the Finder?
    What version of iPhoto do you have?

  • MIGO should not create after PO Delivery Date

    Hi,
    We have a PO with multiple line items and diff. Delivery Dates...
    We want that during MIGO Process, Posting Date should not exceed to PO Delivery Date.
    Means, if PO Delivery Date is 05.07.2014, then MIGO should not created after this date...
    Please suggest.

    If you want to achieve the scenario with standard settings, then you can use the field "Latest GR date".
    Just put the same date as delivery date in this field. Then  system will not allow to do GR if the Posting date is exceed with compare this date in MIGO.
    You can find the latest GR date in Delivery tab in PO. Also you can maintain the field as mandatory in PO to avoid the field value blank as per your requirement.
    Also if you want to change Latest GR date along with delivery date, just take the steps which is explained in this document Mass changes from one field to another field.

    Hello,
    In SPRO, you need to maintain the entries for:
    No date/time type found for ERP date/time IDDOCUMENT.. (Msg id: /SCWM/ERPINTEGRATOIN054)
    W: No date/time type found for ERP date/time IDINTRANS.
    W:No date/time type found for ERP date/time IDVERSION.
    This can be found in EWM > EWM > Interfaces > ERP Integration > Delivery Processing > Map Date Types from ERP System to EWM.
