I create program, but I need clear "something" - memory, buffer or...?
My program have a selection screen and modificate output screen (using ALV buttons). When I modify data (using new framework and next part of code old infotype framework) program give "RAISE EXCEPTION TYPE cx_hrpa_violated_precondition"
I don't know have change a
CL_HRPA_MASTERDATA_FACTORY=>LEGACY_MODE( abap_true ) and next abap_false
When I run program e.g. at first modify new infotype framework, then use F3 (back button). I get selection screen then again use F8 (run button) and then old infotype framework. Everything is ok.
Between using both infotype framework I must use F3 (back button).
What I can do for working without F3 button?

What do you mean by 'clear memory' ?
You can close apps via the iPad's taskbar (a lot of the apps that show on the taskbar will just be 'recently used', they won't be using resources) : from the home screen (if you have an app 'open' on-screen then it won't show on the taskbar for closing) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar at the bottom of the iPad's screen, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iTunes app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If you want to delete content from your iPad to free up storage then you can see how much space each app is taking up via Settings > General > Usage. To delete an app (and therefore its content) press and hold any of the apps on your iPad’s homescreen and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded (you can't delete built-in apps) then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'.
To do a soft-reset (i.e. a reboot) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear.

Clearing memory in ActionScript 3.0

Does anyone know how to clear memory in AS3.0. My app loads a lot of SWF and the memory usage keep accumulate and does not go down untill the app crash. I've tried flash.system.System.gc(); , set movie clip to null,and removeChild but seems no luck for me.
This is how i trace the memory usage:

Clear the text buffer in Terminal.app

I have searched and can't find a solution to this. Here's what I want to do in a single terminal window:
* run command1
* Shell > Export Text As . . . file1.txt
* run command2
* Shell > Export Text As . . . file2.txt
But I want file2.txt to have ONLY the output of command2.
As it is, the Export Text As function seems to be infinitely cumulative. But I want to separate out the output into different files without having to close my Terminal window and start a new session.
Please don't respond with suggestions of piping output to a file or other such. I'm working with proprietary tools that prevent me from doing things like that. The only way I have to collect the data I need is thru Export Text As . . .
I'm running OSX 10.5.4, Terminal 2.0.1(240).

I think you'll find that 'Export Text As' saves the entire window contents. Therefore it isn't the case that it is appending data to the file, but that what you're writing out includes both the first and second commands.
As previously mentioned you could clear the scrollback buffer between commands, but I don't know a way to do that programmatically in the shell (other than via osascript, maybe. The only other way I can see around this is to use separate windows for each command but you said you don't want to do that.

I have FreeMemory (works well) and considering FreeMemory Pro, to clear memory periodically, say every 20 minutes, or preferably when a threshold is reached, say when only 100MB is available.

To get purge to work you need to install Xcode from Optional Installs on the 10.6 install DVD. Also be sure you install CHUD Tools with it.
But running purge or anything like it is pointless if within a short period of time the VM just grows back again. Sounds like you need more RAM.
Where are the memory leaks? Just because the VM reaches a certain size doesn't necessarily mean it's from a memory leak.

If you deleted photos from the Camera Roll album they may still be on your iPad. Check the Photos app and look for the Recently Deleted album. Photos reside there for 30 days in case you want them back. If you are sure that you want to delete the photos deleted them from the Recently Deleted album.

remove the references to the objects that you removed from the JPannel... when it needs it, then Garbage Collector will allow them to be disposed, but it will dispose of them when it needs to, so you may not see the memory ever returned to your system while your app is running.

Clearing Memory and using External HD as iTunes Location

Hi all
I am having a little trouble with clearing space on my MacBook Pro (4GB Memory running Mac OS X 10.7.5). It is running slowly and often comes up with a warning message saying there's insufficinet space on the start up disk and that there is little memory left. I have copied all pictures and music on to an External HD (2TB Seagate connected by Wifi) but all the music is still in the iTunes library too.
I would still like to use iTunes as my music library but need to delete the music from my laptop so that it has more space on it. How do I do this? I have tried it with one song i.e. I have deleted it from the iTunes library on my machine and the song remains on the External HD..... but how can it work so that when I go into iTunes it will still find the songs on the Extrnal HD?
I will also be buying a Sonos hifi system so I will be using the music stored on the external hard drive as the library but I believe this all goes through iTunes anyway?
Hopefully this makes sense and apologies for the lack of knowledge around technical jargon...

Our iTunes guru Terence Devlin advises the following:
1. Quit iTunes
2. Drag the iTunes folder from your internal hd - located in ~/Music folder - to your external hd (which has to be formatted as HFS Extended (Journaled)). DO NOT delete the original one from your internal hd... yet!
3. When the transfer is complete, press and hold the Option(alt) key and fire up iTunes.
4. A "Choose iTunes Library" window will come up. Click on the "Choose Library" button.
5. Navigate to where the iTunes folder is located in the external hd.
6. Within the iTunes folder, select the iTunes Library file and click Choose...
That's it. iTunes will now display all your playlists, songs, movies, podcasts etc. At this point, should you wish, you can delete the iTunes folder from the internal hd to free up space.

Is it possible to clear specific database table buffer in Open SQL layer in J2EE engine? I'm insterested in programmatically and manually approach.
I know that buffer is automatically refreshed after successfull INSERT, UPDATE or DELETE statement, but unfortunately is unaffected if I change data outside OpenSQL connection - for example if I change data in SQL Studio, data readed from table buffer stay unmodified.

if the Z table has the VBELN in the key and the only process updating this table is the USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE, then you do not need any additional locking for this table.
But you should put this updating into a function module and call this function IN UPDATE TASK in the user exit.
Then you can be sure, that the update take place with the successful save of the sales document, any errors will roll it back together with order data. Database consistency is given.
