Clear or refresh WSDL cache in SOA  11G.

How can do this in 11G?
Thanks for your help!!

Right Click "SOA Infra" , Administration -- > System MBean Browser, then
Application Defined MBeans > oracle.as.soainfra.config > Server: soa_server1(whatever name u gave while installation of SOA) > SoaInfraConfig > soa-infra > Attributes.
There is an Attribute all the way down, " UddiCacheLifetime" . Though this is not a direct way to clear cache but minimum time of 300 seconds can be set.
Maybe this helps you.

    What is the location/path on SOA 11G server, where I can place XSD, WSDL(of external system) and import into my Composite or BPEL process.
    Thanks

    Deploying a static web application is one option and the other option is to use an apache to host all the xsd and wsdl.
    The advantage of apache is during development you can have the files hosted on a lighter server that is always running in the background.
    These urls can then be replaced during deployment using the Config plan and build scripts.

  • How to clear BPEL WSDL Cache  from out side  bpel console

    hi ,
    Is it any way to clear wsdl cache other than bpel console option.
    Please any one can help me.
    Regards
    janardhan

    The short answer is Yes.
    I have a post here that does the undeployment.
    link : [http://oraclebpelindepth.blogspot.com/2008/09/undeploy-bpel-with-java.html]
    You would have to change the code below in there to a new one, that does the trick.
    iBPELDomainHandle.undeployProcess(new BPELProcessId("default","MyUndeployedBPELProcess"));
    Use clearWSDLCache() method that is part of the IBPELDomainHandle Interface.
    The final code will look like
    iBPELDomainHandle.clearWSDLCache();
    I hope you are prepared to use Java API for this.

  • Clear wsdl cache every time a bpel process call is made.

    Hi All,
    I have a bpel process which gets input xml of the size of 6MB. This bpel process interacts with a java component using the WSIF approach to reorder the xml input recieved.
    The strange problem that i am currently encountering right now is for each time the bpel process execution time scales up. For example, the first time i fired the request, the bpel process took 29 seconds to completely execute. The second time it took 39 seconds and the third time it has taken around 56 seconds to execute.
    When i cleared the wsdl cache from within the bpel console, the execution again came down to around 21 seconds.
    Can i know which is the property which we can set in bpel.xml file of the bpel process to clear the wsdl cache each time a request is fired.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Vijay S

    Jay,
    You don't say how these links on the menu page are constructed. If you are using an apex list then for each list entry there would be a target page section in which you would put the target page ID in the Clear Cache field. For example, if the link goes to a page in the current application, say page 10, then you'd put 10 in the Clear Cache field.
    If you are building a link yourself, just put 10 (for page 10) in the clear-cache position of the f?p URL, e.g.,
    f?p=&APP_ID.:10:&APP_SESSION.::NO:10:P10_ITEM:&SOME_ITEM.

  • Invalid Session Id: Oracle SOA 11g invoking Salesforce API WSDL

    Hi,
    We are integrating SOA 11g to SFDC through Salesforce Enterprise WSDL,
    BPEL process successfuly make call to SFDC using login operation by providing username and password.
    Login response such as session id and server URL is used to make subsequent call to other operation such as update. But BPEL process fail for this call and return error message saying
    "Invalid Session ID"
    But when I try to test from SOAPUI everything works fine.
    Below is the code snippet of call to update operation of SFDC from BPEL.
    <invoke name="Invoke2Update"
    inputVariable="Invoke2Updat_InputVariable"
    outputVariable="Invoke2Update_OutputVariable"
    partnerLink="SFDCEnterpriseWebservice" portType="ns1:Soap"
    operation="update" bpelx:invokeAsDetail="no"
    bpelx:inputHeaderVariable="SessionId">
    <bpelx:inputProperty name="endpointURI" variable="EndPointURI"/>
    </invoke>
    Please advise, Thanks inadvance.

    I had a similar issue, but i got around by assigning the header varliable to bpelx:inputHeaderVariable.

  • OBIEE Cache clear and refresh of reports from DAC

    Hi All,
    I have an existing process where OBIEE cache clear and Dashboard report refresh is happened from DAC.
    But the issue is both do not happen parallely, the both tasks are kept in single text file and they are called from a batch file from DAC. Below is the code
    nqcmd -d AnalyticsWeb -u Administrator -p SADMIN -s D:\OracleBI\server\Bin\PurgeAllCache.txt
    So I want to make them run parellely so that Cache clear and refresh of reports happen parellely. In order to achieve do I need to create seperate batch files or can I manage by changing the above code.
    Please Suggest.

    Can you share the code in the file PurgeAllCache.txt
    There might be some issue with code, make sure you use ';' for each statement.
    or else use 2 files and 2 commands to execute them.
    Pls mark if helps

  • Invoking HTTPS WSDL in SOA 11G

    Hello,
    Can anyone provide me information on how to invoke https web service(wsdl) in SOA 11G.
    I don't think this https service is using any certificates.I think its just a secured service with user name/password.
    I added security policies "oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy" with user name/password in composite.xml but when I compile the code in JDev I get Errors: Unable to load the wsdl. Unable to load port type
    Can this done with keystore or is there any other process ?
    Thanks

    Thought you would use oracle/wss_httptokenover_ssl_client_policy to populate the http uname/password. The one you mentioned uses ws security header which should not be required.

  • WSDL cache on ESB causes deploy error

    In our processes we are using many database adapters to perform tasks. To centralize the interface files (.xsd, .wsdl) we are using an esb routing rule to create a service that routes one operation to each function/procedure in each pl/sql package that we are using.
    This works very well since and have helped us reducing the file duplication in the project but we are having one problem.
    When a database operation is added or changed in an esb routing service, the BPEL process that calls the database service can not be deployed without restarting the SOA home. The deployment fails when the BPEL process is compiled on the application server. The local BPEL compilation works fine.
    We are quite sure that this is related to some kind of WSDL cache in the ESB. We have tried the following ways to clear the cache but nothing has succeeded:
    - Before redeploying the ESB service we remove using the ESB control. We also make sure that we remove the remaining ESB service files from the server.
    - Clear WSDL cache in the BPEL control.
    - We have checked that all files related to the ESB service on the application server really are updated.
    Only when we restart the server we can deploy the BPEL process again.
    The following error message is received when trying to deploy the BPEL process:
    ORABPEL-01021
    BPEL validation failed.
    BPEL source validation failed, the errors are:
    [Error ORABPEL-10902]: compilation failed
    [Description]: in "bpel.xml", XML parsing failed because "undefined part element.
    In WSDL at "http://[servername]/esb/slide/ESB_Projects/[artifact name]/DatabasePackages_emx_reminders.wsdl", message part element "{[namespace]}InputParameters" is not defined in any of the schemas.
    Please make sure the spelling of the element QName is correct and the WSDL import is complete.
    [Potential fix]: n/a.
    Please note that I have removed some server information and replaced it with the text in italics.

    Hi Daniel,
    Thank you for posting. It really helped me out.
    We had already spent more than a man week on this issue.
    Since the BPEL process was running on a box seperate from the ESB cache we could restart the BPEL box forever without ever figuring it out...
    Regards,
    Aagaard
    Edited by: Aagaard on Nov 4, 2008 8:54 AM
    PS. We were not able to find and clear the presumed ESB cache. We ended up doing a fresh install of the BPEL PM without the SOA suite (which we did not use) and hence also without the ESB.
    This is a very crude approach which worked out in our situation, but there must be a more elegant way around this issue.

  • Database lookup option in SOA 11g

    Hi,
    We need to call a database table ( look up table) for getting some information based on some search criteria , with in a SOA 11g BPEL component.
    We are considering the following options , but at the same time see some cons too.
    1.DB Adapter - select operation
    Cons : Not SOAP but making a DB call every time is costlier option. Looking for some caching support.
    2. Create an ADF-BC / SDO service on top of table and access it using ADF-BC service in SOA. Now access this using Entity variables in SOA.
    This would not create SOAP bindings at the same time we have EO Cache support which would further help increase in performance.
    Do you see any flaw in this understanding ?
    In Approach 2 above , I see an issue. Would EO caching retain for more than one instance ? As far as I know in ADF BC - EO cache works for each user session. So does that mean that EO cache is refreshed for another instance of SOA ?
    Any other ways to do caching apart from ADF BC ?
    Regards,
    Sridhar.

    If you are using DB Adapter, you have to define your web service, with assoicated schema file, in runtime the server will spent time to make sure your message is pertaining to the schema and the service is exposed as web service, in times you will configure the JCA adapter service with performance configurations.
    You need to do the above along with database performance tuning, when you use DBAdapter.
    But if you use the XSLT database functions it will be using only the database performance tuning only.
    Thanks,
    Vijay

  • ESB dbadapter WSDL cache

    Hi,
    Is there any way to reset the WSDL cache in ESB? I am making changes to a dbadapter wsdl in a ESB project in Jdeveloper and then re-registering it with the ESB console. If you look at the dbadapter wsdl on the server it has been refreshed with the new values for polling such as reserved value etc and number of threads but when the DB adpater polls again it uses the old settings. The only work around I see for the poller to use the new settings is to either restart the SOA suite or by deleting the system from the ESB and creating it again when registering it through Jdev. This is not ideal as there are other services registered under that system whcih I dont want to affect. I have tried clicking reset in the ESB console but this doesn't pick up the new changes either. I am using ESB on SOA suite 10.1.3.3.0 and the DB adapter is calling a Oracle XE 10.2.0 database.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated
    Regards
    Chris

    In ESB Control, select the service you'd like to disable. On the tab 'Defenition' there is a button labeled 'disable' which probably disables the ESB service.

  • How to invoke secure web service from BPEL in SOA 11g

    In SOA 11g I have a simple bpel process in which I am invoking a secured webservice as partnerlink. The webservice which is used in bpel process is deployed in weblogic and the SSL port is enabled on weblogic server. The wsdl url starts with "https:\\hostname:port\servicename?wsdl"
    But I am getting compilation errors when i compiled the BPEL code
    Error(16,65): Load of wsdl "AddressBookManager.wsdl" failed
    Error(19,30): Load of wsdl "https://hostname:port/DV900/AddressBookManager?wsdl" failed
    Error(35,102): Cannot find Port Type "{http://oracle.e1.bssv.JP010000/}Oracle_E1_SBF_SEI_PkgBldFile_AddressBookManager" for "AddressBookManager" in WSDL Manager
    Can anyone please help me out in resolving this.
    Thanks,
    Shameem banu.

    Solution is you need to import the keystore into Jdeveloper jdk first.
    keytool -import -alias <name> -file <name>.pem -keystore <name>.jks -storepass <passwd>
    All details in <> are your specific keystore,pwd details.
    Then go to Jdeveloper/jdev/bin
    add the following to
    jdev.conf file
    AddVMOption -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=path_to_keystore\keystorename.jks
    AddVMOption -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword=password
    Then you can create partner link for https based wsdl
    Good Luck

  • Get Realm form Jdeveloper using Soa 11g PS3

    Hi
    I've a problem with jdeveloper authentication with a Oracle SOA 11g PS3.
    I've successfully installed the DemoSeed Community into the server, i've checked into "secutiry realm->myrealm->users and groups" and i found all the seed users.
    During the developing of a simple BPM composite with a Human Task, i try to edit the Roles tab into the Organization function and ad a new role "Productor" but when i've tried to associate Members to this new role jdeveloper does not show any realm or any user form the "Identity Lookup" pop-up window.
    I've checked the server log and found an exception referenced to this case, the exception was:

    I've configured 2 different application server connection, one to the admin server and one to the managed server, but both of them gave me that error.
    During my searches for an answer i've found a Oracle Documentation PDF which reports a SOAP endpoint for this IdentityService (the url of the soap endpoint is http://hostname:port/integration/services/IdentityService/configuration?WSDL ) but when i invoked it using the IdentityConfigServicePort and the operation "getConfiguration" i got this error:

    I've searched this policy all over the web but i wasn't able to find any clue to solve my problem
    Thanks in advice

    Hi Stefano,
    Is this an upgraded instance of PS3?
    I'd check the installation steps again. See http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/doc.1111/e16793/patch_set_installer.htm
    Specifically:
    3.8.5.3 Run soa-upgrade.py to Update the Policy Store and Deploy a Shared Library
    3.8.9 Adding New OWSM Pre-Defined Policies
