Generating wsdl for the adapters in soa 11g

Hi,
how can we generate a wsdl only for the adapter that we use in soa 11g??
for eg.. my scenario is frm the previous posts it was said that we need to generate the wsdl for the adapter and should import it in OSB for proxy services...
(so this is interacting/ using adapters in osb)
So please let me know if im wrong.. and guide me to correct way...
Thanks in advance

    HI
    When I put a network shared variable with fifo RT activated on my diagram, the arrow is broken.and I' ve got this message:
    ""LabVIEW could not generate code for the shared variable.You must open the VI in the project that contains the library where the shared variable resides""
    If I uncheck FIFO RT option for this variable the arrow isn't broken anymore.
    I 've no idea how to correct this weird error?
    Autodeploy is on, and I've check copy / delete in diagram in tool/options\diagram

  • Getting complete WSDL for the web services created in J2EE

    Hi,
    I have created a web service using Netweaver developer studio for a J2EE project (complete EJB, WEB and Appln Project) similar to CAR rental application.
    I also have tested the web service in web service perspective and it is working fine. Now i want to call this web service from XI. Therefore i need the WSDL for the same. The testing screen also gives the WSDL for the web service. But it has got number of links inside in the forms of import.
    Editing all those documents and forming the complete wSDL is very difficult..
    How do i do it??
    Abhijeet

    Hi,
    When I opened the wsdl it has number has a wsdl:import location tag..which refers to binding.
    when opened this import location we have one more import location for porttypes.
    When combined all thhree e.g. service, binding and porttype we get the complete WSDL which i could comofortably import in XI and further process.
    This way i coudl succesfully call a web service from XI.
    I used Stylus studio for editing WSDL.
    Thanx

  • Has anyone had to create a WSDL for the UCCX API integration?

    We are struggling with creating a WSDL for the UCCX API for integration with an external webservice, as the UCCX isn't a true webservice.  Has anyone created a WSDL for this type of integration?  Thanks!

    Thank you Gergely!  I don't think I worded this very well.  We have an http trigger that accepts several parameters from the client (see screenshot for example).  The http trigger works with several other scripts and uses the UCCX API to manage an outbound IVR campaign.
    They are asking us for a WSDL for this interaction.  We explained that this is not a true webservice; it is a simple POST but we wanted to put it out to the community to see if anyone had any insight/ideas.  Thank you again for always taking the time to respond!

    Version 11.3 I actually figured it out, its rather odd that the generate addresses button doesn't do this automatically. It appears that the mask was set to trigger use of the cache on a single bit.  0x00800000.  I had enough devices added where automatic address generation was using the most significant bit meaning that bit was falling within other address spaces. I changed it to 0xFFFFC000.  (Basically telling it to match addresses if all address signals above 16KB are zero).  I don't know if that is the proper way to do it, but it accepted it.  Now I'm fighting with some stuff regarding an FSL bus I added that apparently isn't quite properly setup, so I haven't found out yet if the processor likes that address mask.   But the tools appear to like it.

    Cannot generate XML for the List of Values (UX 00072)
    [LOV Name] This LOV contains data that does not originate from Corporate Data.
    The object maps to data in a table of the DB that will be populated in the future. The LOV file is "empty", but I have to pass the universe into production waiting for the data.
    This error doesn't permit me to go from Development to Prod.

    You need to set the display-property="<<Your name property>>" in item-descriptor tag.

    A bug?

    I saw this post elsewhere:
    JAXRPC specification required support for only subset of schema types. Abstract schema type support was not required. For the schema types that are not supported, the spcification requires that they should be mapped to javax.xml.soap.SOAPElement.
    This is what jaxrpc wscompile tool does. At tool time, the type in the sample code posted is extended frm an abstract type so it should be getting mapped to SOAPElement. SOAPElement extends Node and Element. You may like to see its javadoc.
    -vivek.
    This is basically the behavior I am seeing, but I don't see this as being extended from an abstract type. if someone can see that and explain that to me I would appreciate it....if this is even the right path to the answer to my problem.

    Can anybody tell me from where i can download the external (third party) adapters like SAP, Siebel.... for SOA 11g?

  • Modifying Memory Optimization parameter for BPEL process in SOA 11g

    Hello
    I have turned on memory optimization parameter for my BPEL process in the composite.xml (11g)
    this is what I have in composite.xml:
    <property name="bpel.config.inMemoryOptimization">false</property>
    How do we modify this parameter in the EM console at runtime? I changed this property to "true" using the System MBean browser, but it wasn't taking effect. I thought the SOA server must be restarted (similar to what we used to do in 10g). But when I restart the SOA server, the parameter goes back to whatever the value was in the composite.xml ignoring the change I made in the System MBean browser
    Please share your thoughts.
    Thanks in advance.
    Raja

    Deploying a newer version is not an option, as the endpoints could change (not sure if it would in 11g, but in 10g it does) and also, our service consumers will be pointing to the older version.As mentioned above, if clients are using URL without version then call will be forwarded to default version of composite internally. No manual tweaking required for this. Just make sure that while deploying the new version you are marking it as default.
    Besides, we report on service metrics and having multiple versions just complicates things.Not at all. If you are not using versioning feature, you are really under utilizing the Oracle SOA 11g. Remember that metrics can be collected for a single composite with same effort, irrespective of the number of composite versions deployed. Only few product tables refer the version while storing composite name and rest all use only the composite name without version. I do not know how you are collecting service metrics but we use DB jobs for same it works perfectly with any number of composites having multiple versions deployed.
    The idea is to do some debugging and collect audit trail in case there is a production issue by disabling inMemoryOptimization parameter. This is a live production environment and deploying whenever we want is not even an option for us, unfortunately. Why not debug by increasing log level. Diagnostic logs are the best option to debug an issue even in production. For getting audit trail you may re-produce the issue in lower environments. I think no organization will allow re-deployments just for debugging some issue in production until and unless it is too critical issue to handle.
    Does this not supported in 11g? if it isn't, it does seem like a bug to me. You may always go ahead and raise a case with support.

  • How to specify custom namespace in generating WSDL for BAPI

    In the creation of the Web Service Definition(WSDL) for a rfc-enabled function module, I would like to specify the custom namespace rather than the default in /sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/. And I could not change the path in the Service Definition after it is generated(greyed out in change mode).
    I have looked all over the SAP help and could not find any documentation for the change.
    Any advise?
    regards,
    Wai-ming

    Hi John,
    You've raised a good scenario.
    First of all let me say that the purpose of the DB polling transaction, is to have an option to initiate a process from a DB table/view and not to update multiple fields in a table (or have other complex manipulation on the table).
    So, when choose to update a field in a record, after reading it, you are "telling" the engine not to poll this record again. Sure, i guess you can find a solution/workaround for it, but I don't think this is the way....
    The question now is what to do?
    You can have another DB adapter where you can update the data after finishing the process. In that case, after reading the data (on polling transaction) - update the header.status = 'processed' for example, and after processing the selected data update the rest of the fields.
    Hope it make some sense to you.

  • How to generate .wsdl for a portlet?

    Dear all,
    I would like to publish a portlet, say portlet_x, as a web service, so it can be accessed by remote portlets. This is my first post here, and appreciate very much if someone can help me out.
    My understanding is that I need to make portlet_x a producer. So I followed this document:
    http://e-docs.bea.com/wlp/docs81/wsrp/workprod.html#1001012
    The wsrp-producer-config.xml was successfully generated. Then I tried to a remote portlet to access portlet_x. However, portlet_x doesn't appear in the portlet lists retrived by:
    http://localhost:7001/sampleportal/producer?WSDL
    The reason is probably because there is no wsdl file for portlet_x. What might I miss here? Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Omega

    Subbu, can you be more specific on this topic. i'm having problem even to read WSDL generated by BEA producer. Trying to read WSDL using url http://myBEAmachine:7001/sampleportal/producer?WSDL failed for me with exception "Unable to resolve imported document at 'wlp_wsrp_v1_bindings.wsdl.'". I check generated WSDL and it refer above wsdl like this location="wlp_wsrp_v1_bindings.wsdl", which, as I understand, won't work if consumer and producer are on the different machines. FYI, I'm using wsdl4j to read the wsdl speicified by url as follows "http://myBEAmachine:7001/sampleportal/producer?WSDL"

  • How to generate wsdl for complex type using wscompile?

    Hi
    Since couple of days I am trying to generate the the wsdl for following classes
    abstract class Key implements serializable{
    class sikeKey extends Key{
    int siteKey;
    class AddressKey extends siteKey{
    int addressId;
    class Model{
    AddressKey key = new AddressKey();
    }I am using following ant script for wscompile
          <wscompile
              fork= "true"
              base="${dest.dir}/war/WEB-INF/classes"
              server="true"
              features="wsi"
              mapping="${dest.dir}/war/WEB-INF/Address_Mapping.xml"
              sourceBase="${war.dir}/WEB-INF/classes"
              optimize="false"
              debug="true"
              keep="false"
              verbose="true"
              xPrintStackTrace="true"
              config="${acws-config-dir}/Address_Config.xml">
              <classpath>
                            <pathelement path="${acws.classpath}"/>
                            <pathelement path="${war.dir}/WEB-INF/classes"/>
                   </classpath>
          </wscompile>
    <taskdef name="wscompile" classname="com.sun.xml.rpc.tools.ant.Wscompile">
        <classpath path="${acws.classpath}"/>
    </taskdef>It generates the wsdl but without all complex type.
    <complexType name="AddressWebServiceModel">
    <sequence>
    <element name="addKey" type="tns:AddressKey" nillable="true"/>
    </sequence>
    </complexType>
    <complexType name="AddressKey">
    <sequence>
    <element name="siteID" type="string" nillable="true"/>
    <element name="addressID" type="int"/>
    </sequence>
    </complexType>Here it should create the right mapping for classes siteKey so that the webservice call can be mapped with the response of this Model.
    Any one know how to configure the above script for proper mapping of complex type?

    Add the concrete subclasses of Key in an <AddtionalType> element in your config.xm. file.

  • Problem in Getting Count answer for the report in OBIEE 11g..

    Hi friends,
    I created a report in OBIEE 11g, but i'm not getting the correct answer as i expected...I'm getting answer in presentation services but the answer is wrong..
    I'll explain to you with an example report: Suppose in the report "NATIONALITY COUNT IN DEPARTMENT WISE" manner
    i dragged the Nationality column from per_all_people_f which is dim table and i dragged the column that i applied aggregation rule "count" for the column "nation count" from per_all_assignments_f which is fact table......If i viewed answers means i'm getting correct answer
    (i.e.) nation count per Nationality..........
    NATIONALITY<---------------------->NATION COUNT
    AUSTRALIA 40
    INDIA 20
    AFRICA 10
    USA 5
    The above is the answer I'm getting with out including the department column from hr_all_organization_units...........
    But since according to the report i need count in department wise manner, so for that along with nationality and nation count column i dragged department column from hr_all_organization_units which is dim table and also i hide that column as i dont want to view the department column in answers..........
    If i clicked answers, means then I'm not getting the nation count for the nationality......... I'm getting the answer 0 for each and every nationality, if i included the hided department column
    NATIONALITY<----------------->NATION COUNT
    AFRICA 0
    AUSTRALIA 0
    INDIA 0
    USA 0
    I'm getting answers like the above if i include the department dimension column which is in hided manner.........................
    What is wrong with it........Whether i made any logical mistake for the report.....If so guide me friends..........
    Cheers,
    Harry...........

    Hi,
    you said about writing query in DB.......whether U meant of trying checking the query in toad..or something else..........
    Since im giving only one join from dim to fact in the physical diagram........
    But more than one join exist between those dim and fact, but im giving only one join mainly the primary key column of the dimension table to the fact table....Whether i need to give all the joins that exist(even if it has 2 or 3 joins between those fact and dim) tables....
    If i give count distinct means it is giving count for every nation as 1....like i mentioned below
    NATIONALITY<----------------------------------------------------->NATION COUNT
    INDIA---------------------------------------------------------------------1
    AUS------------------------------------------------------------------------1
    CAN------------------------------------------------------------------------1
    Since you said to check about depts of the particular column....i couldn't able to understand about "depts" that you meant????
    Whether i made any logical mistake...........
    thanks,
    Harry...
