Clicking on a line of text in JEditor Pane - how ?

I have a line of (String) text which is displayed in a JEditorPane - I want to be able to click on the line of text (add a event handler/listener to it ?) which would then display some text in another jeditorPane.
However, i cant seem to find anyway of adding a listener to a line of text and making it 'clickable' ?
BTW i dont need to use a JEditorPane, I've only done so as i originally thought id use html to format the text.

It is rasterizing the PDF at the resolution you tell it to, unless it's an image only PDF - then the image will be opened as-is.

Are you opening those files in Acrobat or Reader? You can set the default page size in the Page Display preferences. Choose Acrobat/Reader > Preferences in Mac OS, or Edit > Preferences in Windows to access the preference settings. Do the black lines only appear when the PDF is zoomed in? Or are they there regardless of the page magnification?

Coping word document text to Jeditor pane

Hi All
I have used following code in my program for pasting text
action = new DefaultEditorKit.PasteAction();
action.putValue(Action.NAME, "Paste");
Although I am able to paste text from notepad but not from word document.
Can anybody tell me how to overcome this problem?

Line item text is automatically disappeared

Hello Experts,
I have weird situation when I enter FI document.
In FB01 transaction, I am going to enter the first line item data after I put the document header data.
After I enter a G/L account, some values and line item text, I need to some data at 'More data' tab so that I click 'More data' button.
When I go back to the screen for the first line item data after putting some data at 'More data' tab, the line item text that I have already entered before is automatically disappeared.
Is there anyone who know why this happen?

This is so weird.
When we enter the document under language option 'EN', there is no problem like above.
But in case we logon with our language 'KO', that problem happens.
I think this might have something to do with language issue.

Line item text in ALV..urgent

hello
i m creating an alv interactive report. in basic list i have fields from likp table and in interactive i have lips table fields. one need one more field in interactive list and that is "line item text" field. (i have matnr and arktx in interactive). for the time being i created line item text in VL02>>ITEM>>TEXTS>> FOR ITEM NUMBER(POSNR). I didnt understand where this line item text is stored ; i mean in which table it is stored . how to retreive this field from a table??

You have to use the FM READ_TEXT..to get the text name..
The following are the details you have to pass to the FM..
Text name - Delivery number + line item.
Language - SY-LANGU
Text ID - ????
Text Object - VBBP.
You can get the above details in the text itself..
Display the text..
Double click on the text to get to the editor..
In the menu..choose..GOTO -> HEADER..
There you can see the details like Text ID, text name & text object..And use them in the FM read_text..

Acrobat Pro 9, blank lines in text boxes vanish upon save

Folks,
Since I upgraded from Acrobat Pro 8 to 9, whenever I put blank lines in a text box, the blank lines disappear as soon as the PDF is saved.
Here's an example:
- Open a PDF file
- Click on text box tool in the toolbar (or from menu Comments->Comments and markup Tool->Text box tool
- Draw a box on the PDF page somewhere
- Enter "First line", then hit Return twice to add a blank line below, enter "Second line"
- Right now my text box contains two lines of text separated by a blank line
- Hit save
- Blank line vanishes in the text box. Now the two text lines are on adjacent rows.
This did not happen in either Acrobat Pro 7 or 8. I've been using textboxes consistently for years without this silly behavior.
Any suggestions? I've looked through forums and knowledge bases and such to no avail.
I have acrobat pro version 9.0.0 running on XPSP3.

I figured out how to make this work, at least on my computer. Hold CTRL key and hit ENTER. This leaves the space. Hope this works for you.

Sharepoint 2013, Document Library: Sharepoint is changing data in a single line of text column to ISO8601 after modifying other columns

Hello there,
basically, as the title says: We have a Document Library on a Sharepoint 2013. Attached to every document are multiple columns, the type for every column is 'Single line of text'.
One column is called 'billing date' and has suitable data in it, e.g. 01.01.2015, 26.02.2015, 29.03.2015 an so on.
Sometimes when someone is editing an other column of the same document the data in 'billing date' changes from 01.01.2015 to 2015-01-01T00:00:00Z for that document, seemingly randomly.
Is there any way to configure or prevent this?

From your description, my understanding is that SharePoint changes the format of date in single line.
It is very strange issue. I try to reproduce your issue in my environment, but everything is OK.
To solve your issue, I need to collect some information, please confirm these points below:
When will the format of date change? Does it change immediately when you edit the document or after clicking save button?
Does the issue occur in this document library or each one in your environment?
Do you have some special configurations for this document library?
In addition, could you provide a screenshot as below?

Hope your requirement is to add one u2018Text typeu2019 in the line item of the sales order. Say you want to add u2018ITEM DETAILS_SOURCEu2019 in the line item text of sales order. Follow the steps given below.
1.     SPRO >> SD >> Basic function >> Text Control. Click u2018Text Controlu2019
2.     Click on u2018Define Text Typeu2019
3.     Select u2018Sales Documentu2019 and then u2018Itemu2019
4.     Click on u2018Changeu2019; select the Text procedure u2018Sales itemu2019 and click on u2018Text IDu2019
5.     The text object is VBBP; Create a new u2018Text IDu2019; Go for a new entry and enter the sequence number (higher than the existing one); enter TEXT id as u2018ITEM DETAILS_SOURCEu2019; save
6.     Now the new text id will be displayed at item text if you create a sales document that includes inquiry, quotation and sales order.

More than 1 line of text when using text generator from file?

have 8 line blocks of text to show onscreen.
would like to use text generatorn>from file
all they seem to print is one line.
is there a work around?
have trhied soft returns and paragraphs on saved text file.

Select the File generator layer and in the Inspector, select the Layout pane and in Layout controls, set the Layout Method to Paragraph. Narrow your margins and the text will "flow" into multiple lines.
You can also keyframe the paragraph layout position. [Probably more info than you want here.]
That said, you can only display *one line* at a time per File Generator. (If you're up to date with Motion [v5.1.2], you can use more than one File generator.) The generator does not accept any other characters for returns other than newline and carriage return.
I've never tried it, but thinking about it, you can set Tab stops in the Paragraph layout (double click in the layout rectangle and a ruler should appear over the top -- right click on the ruler to set tabs). If you go back into the original text file and where you need to break lines into two or more, setting a left tab stop in the layout very near the end of a line might force the tabbed text into the next line (did I make that clear enough??)

Publishing a text box to be multiple lines of text in SharePoint Form Library

I have some text boxes on an InfoPath form which is then published to a SharePoint form library. However, when the form creates columns in the form library, some of the text boxes are being published as Single Line of Text which then cuts off some of the
text as users can type more the 255 characters in the text box.
My question is how can I make sure that the form publishes the field as a multiple line of text instead? Some of the boxes did this by default but there are others that did not and I am missing text on them.

When you add the control to the form, choose the Multi Line of text option instead of the single line of text option, if you are unsure, when you add the control to the form, right click it and select properties, from here you can change the data type
from single line of text to multi line of text.

Snow Leopard version of Preview: Enable lines of text in the search results?

In Preview 4 on OS X 10.5.8 Leopard and Preview 3 on OS X 10.4.11 Tiger, when a search of a PDF file was conducted, the search term would appear in context in the drawer on the side of the main Preview window. The multiple lines of text in the search results could then be quickly scanned visually.
In Preview 5 on OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, the search result display options do not seem to include the lines of text found in Preview 4 and Preview 3. Is there a setting somewhere, maybe even performed via the command line in the Terminal application, that can enable Preview 5 to display such lines of text in the search results?

It's either that or finding other software for your scanning needs. For example, Image Capture comes with OS X, VueScan 9.2.09, ExactScan Pro 2.24.
Alternatively, partition your hard drive and install Snow Leopard on another volume.
To resize the drive do the following:
1. Open Disk Utility and select the drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list.
2. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window. You should see the graphical sizing window showing the existing partitions. A portion may appear as a blue rectangle representing the used space on a partition.
3. In the lower right corner of the sizing rectangle for each partition is a resizing gadget. Select it with the mouse and move the bottom of the rectangle upwards until you have reduced the existing partition enough to create the desired new volume's size. The space below the resized partition will appear gray. Click on the Apply button and wait until the process has completed. (Note: You can only make a partition smaller in order to create new free space.)
4. Click on the [+] button below the sizing window to add a new partition in the gray space you freed up. Give the new volume a name, if you wish, then click on the Apply button. Wait until the process has completed.
You should now have a new volume on the drive. Use the Snow Leopard installer DVD to install Snow Leopard on your new volume.
It would be wise to have a backup of your current system as resizing is not necessarily free of risk for data loss. Your drive must have sufficient contiguous free space for this process to work.

Get Rect of a line of text in text member

I need to get the top left right and bottom coordinates in
pixels around a
line of text in the text member where the mouse clicks.
I know how to get the right and left positions. But top and
botton is
difficult.
Any ideas and workarounds will be welcome.

GL Line item text mandatory

Hi,
We have a following requirement:
1. Client needs that during MIGO/MIRO & release to accounting (SD) transaction, in GL line item text field , standard text should copy i.e. in accounting document, under GL line item field that standard text should populate. Do we have any user exits to meet this?
2. In all finance transactions i.e. F-02,F-51,F-52,F-53,F-28,F-48, GL line item text field should become mandatory. To meet this, we have written one validation rule that when for tcode Fb01, system should check GL SGTXT field & if found blank then system gives an error message. I would like to know is it viable as a long term solution or is there any other way to meet this requirement??

Hello mate,
Standard line item texts or formats for the line item text field can be defined.
You can define under IMG / FI Global settings / Document / Line Item / Define Text for line items (transaction OB56). The 4 digit abbreviation (abbr) can then be used when entering a journal line item either by typing "=abbr" or clicking on the dropdown arrow in the text field.
Text field then is text which is to be copied during the entry of documents in the line item text. The text may contain variables which are replaced in each case by current value.
Procedure
In the case of document entry, the text variable is entered in the line item text with prefixed equals sign (=xxxx).
The corresponding text is then copied automatically

The headings and subheadings on some (but not all) sites bleed together into one line of text or the text appears but all or partially outside of the box in which it is intended to reside. I have this problem with MSNBC, for example. The headings at the top of the webpage (TODAY, for example) combine with the next line of subheadings (World, for example) after appearing separately for 1 or 2 seconds. At the same moment, a message appears saying that Firefox has prevented the page from automatically reloading. When I respond to that message by clicking the Allow button next to the message, Firefox appears to reboot the web page and the same message of preventing automatic reloading reappears. I experience the same problem with the New York Daily News website and some others but with other websites such as the BBC I experience no problem.
