Clock in and Out - Negative TIm MGT

Hi FRds,
Can we maintin the Clock and clock out In Negative Time Management.
As of client is in Negative Tim MGt. .. But now i says that he wants to maintain the Clock in and Out From Time Recording System.
Please suggest for the above ..
Thanks & Regards
KRC.

Hi Sri,
In Positive Tim Can we capture the absenses without any Manuall Interaction.
Ex: 1) If the employee is absent for 2day, the quato is available for only 1 day. than the system should automatically has to be deduced one day under Quota and other as a LOP. Can this is be done ( automatically)
Can u plz update me with some documents  or link which helps in Configuring this Postive Tim.
What are the steps to be considered before staring  '+ ive' TIM MGT Configuration.
Thanks in advance
KRC.

  • Clocking In and out

This is a different problem altoghether and I am kinda running out of ideas
I am trying to store date/time for a user when he/she edits a record. A date/time needs to be stored when the modified record is saved
I need to use this data and then find out the time spent by the user on that particular record.
This clocking in and out on the record can happen multiple times by a user during a day.
I need to store the date/time the user starts editing the data as well as the date/time the user saves the modified record
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the reply Bob,
This was solution which was actually rejected as the user might visit and modify the record many times and too many tasks would be created.
I was wondering if we could create a custom field named start time and end time on one task and it keeps on updating itself and in some way the historical data can be reported??

  • Comparison of Positive Vs Negative Time Mgt

    Hi Gurus,
Please elaborate on the advantages of Negative Time mgt against Positive Time management.
    Edited by: Raman1986 on Dec 11, 2011 8:01 AM

    Hi Raman,
       Postive Time Mgmt :
Recording of actual time of the employee.
Attendance will be considered in +ve time mgmt.
Eg : Employee doesnt mark his attendance for a particular day, ll be treated as absence at the time of payroll run.
      Negative Time Mgmt :
Absences only be considered for the employee.
Absence data will be given to Payroll.
Eg : If an emplyee has applied leave for 2 days, working days 26 -  Absence days 2 = 24 as actual working days at the payroll run.
Note : Positive time mgmt may be very usefull in manufacturing/production sectors to capture accurate working hours. Late Arrival etc..

No, the camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the Photos app, it doesn't support copying content off the iPad. For your second camera instead of the SD reader part of the kit, does the iPad to camera cable not work with it for direct transfer to the iPad ?
For Lightroom and Nikon software again no - you can only install apps that are available in the iTunes app store on your computer and the App Store app on the iPad, 'normal' PC and Mac (OS X) software are not compatible with the iPad (iOS). There are some apps that perform fairly basic editing functions that are available in the store, but nothing as sophisticated as, for example, Lightroom.

  • Clokc in and out problem

    hi,
I have a requirement :I need to give the error message when the employee no "clock in or
clock out"record. but some employee need 2 pair time event record, another employee need 1 pair,
this restrict according to their "daily work schdule". some DWS need clock in and out only once time(one pair),
some DWS need clock in and out two times (2 pair)
    for example:
daily work schedule AAA: fixed work time: 08:00 - 17:30 , break :12:00-13:30
so thik kind of people need 2 pair time event.
    08:00 clock in
    12:00 clock out
    13:30 clock in
    17:30 clock out
now my problem is : if the employee no clock out record at 12:00 and no clock in record at 13:30
the system will think 08:00 and 17:30 as one pair ,so not give the error message. so how to solove
    this question?
    thanks!
    Olivia

    Olivia
I see your point.    Perhaps the TE schema may need additional set up in the schema as follows
    1) Shift in Daily work schedule is 0800 - 1700 (meal breaks 1200 - 1300)
    2) Note that in positive TE, 0800 / 1200 form a time pair and 1300 - 1700 form the next time pair
    3) You may want to use the clock out - clock in = hours to compare against the time pair in (2)
if the hours > time pair in (2) AND there exists only one pair of clock in / out for the day
then you may deduce there must be a missing clock in / out for meal breaks
My 2 cents.   Hope this thought may help in one way or the other
    Cheers

  • I know I've heard that iPads/iPhones can't get viruses but is it possible that they can? While using my iPad, it keeps going in and out of apps. On Facebook, status and profiles keep getting clicked and it keeps zooming in and out. Can anyone help

I Have an iPad mini, iOS 8.1. When I'm on my iPad, it keeps going in and out of random apps. Going to settings is the worse. As soon as I click settings and it opens,it starts clicking different things and tries turning on and off settings! In Facebook, profiles and status get clicked. The screen zooms in and out multiple times. It reminds me of when you call the help desk for a computer or a computer at work and they gain access and move around clicking and you're doing nothing. Basically things are being clicked and I'm not doing it.....can anyone help?

At this point, I would go for reset to its factory default condition, using the iTunes program to get a clean system install. That way you'll clean everything out and just have it set up the way it would come from the factory. You'll need to do your backup (on the iTunes program too) and be sure you understand which stuff will be saved and which will not (from the links below). Also turn off any anti-virus program you may have on your desktop. Then when you reset it to the factory default condition, don't restore your backup just yet ... until you check it out without your data put back on it. Verify its operation first, to make sure that you know it's okay. Hopefully everything is okay at that point, otherwise you'll have to take it into Apple to check it out for any hardware failure.

  • New macbook pro display dims in and out

I just got my new macbook pro a few weeks ago. The display dims in and out at times, why does this happen? What can I do to fix it? I really don't wanna replace it already or what not.

    Welcome to the Forums!
Most likely the ambient light sensor - the system is set to automatically adjust brightness based on changing light conditions. You can test this out - put your hands over both speakers and your display should dim quite a bit. To turn this feature off, go to System Preferences > Displays > Display tab and UNcheck the box for Automatically adjust brightness.

  • Where's can I see the in/out point times?

I'm combining lots of clips from different films into one and because the audio levels are different in each clip, I've extracted the audio from the clips, applied mp3gain to them and inserted them into the timeline below the corresponding video clip. Of course I would like to set the in and out points of these audio clips to the same values as the video, but I don't know an easy way to see the in and out point times.
If I double click the video (i.e. open it int the preview window) I can scrub the timeline and see where the in point is, but it's not very precise and I'd like this to be exact.
So, all this just to ask: how can I find out the exact in/out point of a clip in the timeline?

For what you are wishing to do, I would strongly recommend using the Audio Mixer. It is great for doing exactly what you want, and will "automate" the changes via Track Keyframes.
I do this as about the very last process in my editing, as I want to make sure that I have all of my cuts set. Actually, any Audio work is at the end of my workflow. Once my edits are visually where and how I want them, I fire up Audio Mixer. If I have several Audio Tracks, such as Narration and Soundtrack, I Mute these, and begin "riding gain," or "potting" as I play the movie and listen very closely with a set of good headphones. As the movie plays, I adjust the Gain to exactly what I want for that entire Audio Track. Because PE lays down Keyframes on the Audio Track, you can go back and basically re-record your changes to a particular area. It's much simpler in PE, than in PrPro's Audio Mixer, though the latter does allow more "power." When I am done with my dialogue Track, I leave it on as a reference, and then un-Mute my Narration, adjusting it as is needed. Last, I'll leave both of those on and address the Soundtrack the same way. Once done, you can then play the whole thing with the Audio Mixer open and watch the "pot" for the Gain move in each Audio Track automatically.
The main reason for doing this as the last step in the editing workflow is because the Keyframes are on the Audio Track(s) and NOT on the Clips. If you go to edit the Clips, changing their Duration, etc., you would need to clear your Track Keyframes and start over, or the adjustments will no longer be correct.
This is basically how it's done in Hollywood.
Good luck, and don't forget a good set of headphones to really be able to listen closely. I don't work with a lot of meter settings, other than watching out for Clipping, but instead listen to the piece and to my changes to it.

    Hi Bala
You can have clock in and clock out in a weekly view.
you have to change the data entry profile settings.
In general settings tab in data entry profile click the with clock times button and maintain the Period type to 02 in time settings tab.
And you can view the weekly entry in clock in and clock out.

  • Clock in and clock out issue

    Hi All,
I am looking for  a solution for the below issue. Please help me out
Clock in and clock out details from third party terminal are stored in SAP in IT2011.
My requirement is if the duration between first clock in and last clock out is less than 4 hours system should consider as LOP for that day.
can you please let me know if I should a PCR or any other way.
    Regards
    Vish

    You can do as below:
Normally time type 0000 is used for normal attendance hrs in time schema PCR's like TP09, TP10, TP11.
Before CUMBT function, call a PCR using ACTIO to do as below:
If the daily value is time type 0000 < 4.00, insert a w/t for LOP absence hrs for the day.  The hrs can be as per the business rules:
a)from IT 7 -  provided IT 7 has the correct data from WSR and WSR is correct.
    HRS=IDAHRS           daily hrs
    or
    HRS=IWEHRS  HRS/5    weekly hrs/5
    or
b)from the DWS for that day
HRS=S        -DWS hrs including any substitution
See example below assuming 0000 time type for normal attendance hrs, 8001 time w/t for LOP hrs.
                 D   HRS=D0000    HRS?4
    <                HRS=IDAHRS  ADDZL8001
    In payroll,
    - Time w/t's from time eval are imported by ZLIT function (usually in XT00 sub schema).
    - PCR XPPF and its sub PCRs this w/t hrs can be used to reduce the partial pay factors e.g. /801 used to reduce the payments like basic pay, etc.
    - PCR XVAL uses these factor w/t's to reduce the payments.
