Clone DataSource for simultaneously receiving and transmitting?

Hi!
I wrote an application that receives a video stream and transmits it to a client. The application works fine.
But if I change it to a servlet I get a StreamCorruptedException ("type code out of range, is 0")
The API sais: StreamCorruptedException is thrown when control information that was read from an object stream violates internal consistency checks.
Why is this exception only thrown in the servlet?
Might this be because I use this datasource for receiving and transmitting data?
Do I have to use a cloned datasource?

Ummm, you don't have to implement any methods if you don't want. The default RTPManager does it all for you. I think you may want to override some trigger functions, but...

Nodata in the [DiskRead and Write]&[Network Received and Transmitted] of the reports

Hello everyone!
I'm a newbie.
The problem is the column of [DiskRead and Write]&[Network Received and Transmitted] has nodata.The others are OK(CPU,Memory etc.). I already set the base rate for [DiskRead and Write]&[Network Received and Transmitted] and I do some operations like copy files from one to another VM in the VM. But it still 0.00 in the report .
Can anybody tell me why? Is anything wrong in my vCenter Database?

Thanks for sending the data.
The query that we asked you to run gives the values of network transmit-receive and disk read-write that CBM data collector has collected from VC.
A closer look at the output of the query shows that CBM has been able to collect data for network received and transmit (resource_id=6) from VC. The attached report contains costs for network received and transmit.
But there is no data for disk read and write (resource_id=2). So the report shows 0 costs for disk read and write.
Now we need to know the cause of absence of this data from CBM DB. As a first step, we will like to see if VC DB contains disk read-write related data. Can you please attach the output of following steps?
1) Please run following query on CBM DB
select entity_moid from cb_vc_entity where vc_entity_id=(select vc_entity_id from cb_vc_entity_mapping where cb_entity_id=(select entity_id from cb_entity where entity_name='work_GJL'))
This will give 'moid'. This moid should be used in the next query.
2) Please run following queries on VC DB.
We need outputs from 4 tables namely:
i) VPXV_HIST_STAT_YEARLY
ii) VPXV_HIST_STAT_MONTHLY
iii) VPXV_HIST_STAT_WEEKLY
iv) VPXV_HIST_STAT_DAILY
Substitute <table name> in the following query with each one of these and store the outputs of different queries independently and attach here.
select SAMPLE_TIME, SAMPLE_INTERVAL, STAT_VALUE from <table name> where ENTITY LIKE 'moid from above query' AND STAT_NAME = 'usage' and STAT_GROUP = 'disk' and STAT_ROLLUP_TYPE = 'average' order by SAMPLE_TIME

Unit of measurement for materials received and withdrawn

Hi Experts,
Base unit of material is KG whereas sales unit is M2 and conversion is maintained between both. Now I am using sale unit (M2) while entering material componenets. Then I am raising PR, PO, GR in project and withdraw the material in sale unit M2. But system updates the report in KG (under purchasing data tab of component). When I get material report, system shows reqmt qty in M2 but received and withdrawn qty in KG. Its confusing and doesn' serve the reporting purpose. Can we do something so that received and withdrawn qty will appear in M2 (sale unit) rather than KG (base unit)?

Hi,
To resolve this issue, you need to maintain the conversion factors. In material master, additional tab, unit of measure tab you need to maintain the conversion factors. Say example I Kg = How much M2. If you maintain this the system will convert automatically all the Kg in to M2, or vice versa you can do. Otherwise you can maintain the conversion factors in the Info Record also for externally procured materials.

It's a good start. I think the best method in creating roles is to create the name myself and add the t-codes pertaining to that function such as cash application and credit.
I have a list of t-codes (it says all FI transactions) but I don't see credit management t-codes like FD32. Does anyone have a list of credit management t-codes?

In LBWE, under Purchasing there are few DataSources available for Goods receipt and Invoice receipt. Is there any DataSource for both Goods receipt and Invoice receipt. What are the DataSources available for Goods receipt and Invoice receipt. Please clarify the difference.

Try to use the PROCESSKEY standard infoobject (BWVORG in R3/ECC) to discriminate the good receipt from the invoice one...
An other option is create a custom generic data source with a view on EKBE table and use the EKBE-VGABE field to discrimate them.

Receiving and Transmitting RTP (to 3rd party) simultaneously

I am trying to do a video conference, using those example files from JMF Solutions. I am able to send and receive live video from one node to another. Now i want to establish video conference between A to C and i want to store the entire session in B. Here actually i want to transmitt A's video to B, store the session in B and then from B i want to send it to C. Please give me some idea to do this.

Problem in clones. Saving to disk and transmiting to the web

Hello,
Well, i have a problem with clones, i'm saving audio/video to disk, and at the same time i'm seeing the video in a player for that i used the merge function available in the JMF Solutions.
My main problem is when i try to transmit to the web, it does not work using the clones, i'm using for the transmit the AVTransmit2.java in JMF Solutions. It appears that the video/audio does not transmit.
The player works, the saving also but the trasmit doesn't.
Does anyone have a clue?

I am having the same problem here ,what i have tried to do is clone the vfw datasource from the web camand use the clones as input data processors to transmit and save to a file.It doenst seem to work .
