Cloning of VI having notifiers

Hi,
I have master and slave vi working on Queues and notifiers concept, I have test system to test one product and this program works fine,
Now we are trying to duplicate the same test system to test same product but with single software to increase the production output, I am thinking of cloning my VI and use it has to run the other stations.
I will have one main user interface vi and I can start my test on any station at any time, this main user interface vi will have cloned vi's of master and slave vi which I am talking about.
Will this concept work ? I am afraid since the notifiers will have the same name and it causes some conflicts.

Named queues are going to cause conflicts between the different instances.
I would get rid of the names and just use the reference wires that each queue or notifier will create.
You could use a functional global action engine to store the references of multiple queues or notifiiers in an array.
If you want to still stick with named queues, I'd modify the name of the queue so that it also includes a number that is based on whatever index you assign it. So instead of "NamedQueue", I'd called it "NamedQueue1", wire a 2 into the VI have have it obtain "NamedQueue2"

Cloning a Collection with it's projects

I need to clone a collection with it's projects and do test with it.
I follow the instructions referenced in this link (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd936138.aspx), in the instructions indicates that existing projects must be deleted from one of the collection, but I need to use the projects on the cloned collection
(without having to remove them from the source collection), besides that, I can't delete the projects in the source collection and It's needed to maintain source and cloned collection online.
What can i do in order to maintain the projects in the source collection and the cloned collection?

I'd like to know whether your team project collection includes lab management, and where you get the information that delete the projects in source collection.
As far as I know, you have to set it to offline before you can use the moved team project collection. Anyway, you can also create a new project collection in the same TFS server, and then migrate the source team projects in source collection
to the new team project collection by using TFS integration tools.

Autoconfig hangs on LSNRCTL80.EXE process | windows

Hi all,
I'm a newbie here. First thought I'd put this thread under the windows subforum, but couldn't find an appropriate section there. I'll give it a shot here.
In a windows environment autoconfig hangs on the LSNRCTL80.EXE process being active.
A TNSLNSR80.EXE is spawned but LSNRCTL80.EXE hangs and autoconfig will only continue if the LSNRCTL80.EXE is killed by hand.
After autoconfig finishes, the LSNRCTL80.EXE service has to be started by hand again.
As we're working on automating a cloning process, the idea behind my question is to not having to interfere during the cloning process. The idea of having to set your alarm to kill the LSNRCTL80.EXE in the middle of the night is not too appealing.
Funny thing is that when you use remote desktop + console this problem does not occur, but if you use remote desktop without console, the LSNRCTL80.EXE hangs and has to be killed for autoconfig to finish.
Any ideas where to find the solutions to this?
I'd appreciate any ideas on how autoconfig can be run within a cloning process without having to manually interfere by killing the LSNRCTL80.EXE.
And/or any ideas on why this problem does not occur within the remote desktop + console setup?

This is a known issue as you need to run AutoConfig on the server itself (not from a terminal client) -- See (Note: 260365.1 - Adconfig.cmd Hangs When Starting Apps Listener) for details.

Photoshop CS6 in Mavericks sometimes forgets where it is

My system is a new Mac Pro ("iCan" version) running Mavericks. I installed CS6 Production Premium from DVD as a full, clean install using all default settings. None of my other apps seem to exhibit the following behavior:
I have the Ps icon in my dock. When I "open using" an image, frequently a second icon appears on my dock instead of using the existing one. Also, if I open Ps using the dock icon, load an image, then "open using" a different image, a second instance of Ps opens instead of the image opening in the currently-open instance of Ps.
Also, every now and then when I open Ps it says the app has moved.
This was not a migration of any kind, it was a clean default install onto a new machine from the original DVD. As I noted, none of my other CS6 apps appear to do this, only Ps.
Should I uninstall Ps and re-install? Uninstall and clean out the whole CS6 installation? Something less drastic?

Okay, I believe I've found the problem. I have an external drive connected, onto which I peridiocally back up my whole system drive using Carbon Copy Cloner. I uninstalled Ps and then as a test tried to open a .psd image, and Mavericks went to the cloned installation. Having a second installation where Mavericks can see it is causing confusion.

Iphone 3G No audio

I have the latest OS 4.1 on my Iphone 3G, but there is no audio the speakers doesn't work, I cannot hear calls neither vibrates. when I start an application that needs audio it tells me "error starting Audio, please try reboot the iphone", but nothing, but when I take the sim card out it works, and when I put back in "sim Card" again no audio and freezes a lot. help anyone

Me too, i could play it after convert to iphone version by using itunes.
The file size is double.
It took me about 20~30 min for each episode.
and now my itunes is broken too
It alert "Error occurred while converting the file "xxxxx". the required file cannot be found" When i instruct the conversion.
where "xxxxx" is the filename.
What can i do?
I hope apple is working on it or having notified the problems.

Mini Wi-Fi Home Hotspot 500 kit

Hi all,
I've just bought one of these kits this afternoon from Currys. Just a quick question, reading the instructions it says that I can use the optional cloning feature, which I have done using just the home hotspot, which is now upstairs and working. Am I correct in thinking that if I use the kit this way, there is no need to connect the broadband extender hard wired to the router downstairs as well?

And to clarify, these are all iTunes movie and music downloads, so there should not be a compatability issue. And no, the iPod did not come damaged from Apple, it was a hand-me-down from a friend who busted the internal speaker. But it's never done anything like this before. It just had crappy sound. And yes, the timing of the movies and music having issues is the same as the speaker dying. And no, this has NOTHING To do with music videos. I don't have any on any of our devices.

The first thing I would check is Do Not Disturb mode, as this will cause that behavior:

If that isn't the issue, this article has slightly different symptoms but the troubleshooting would be the same:

Before you do step 10, however, I recommend resetting all settings to see if that helps. To do that, choose Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

Ikeep getting a error message reading:

#2 the procedure entry point sqlite3-wal-checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library. sqlite3.d11.
#3 service 'apple mobile device' (apple mobile device)
failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Now paste it in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

How to rename ASM diskgroups after having cloned the original disks to the same server. ASMlib is used

Linux RHE 6
Oracle Grid single instance (Oracle Restart) 11.2.0.4 installed
Oracle RDBMS 11.2.0.4 installed
One 11.2.0.4 database single instance running
Our ASM have DATA, REDO, FRA diskgroup mounted
We need to do a storage snapshot for creating on THE SAME server a copy of the current ASM diskgroups DATA, REDO, FRA. Then we would rename the cloned diskgroups using renamedg command.
We have done this operation several times when ASMlib is not used. The command used when ASMlib is not used is for example:
renamedg dgname=FRA newdgname=FRA2 verbose=true phase=both asm_diskstring='/dev/oracle/fra*'
With ASMlib in use I am not sure about the steps to follow
First I am not sure about what to provide to the asm_diskstring parameter of the renamedg command. I need to provide an asm_diskstring which identifies the path pointing to the disks belonging to the cloned diskgroup (I do not want to rename the original diskgroup). Though in an ASM instance using ASMlib the parameter asm_diskstring is is ‘ORCL:*’.
Second, I suppose after the diskgroup rename ASMlib would return an error because it would find duplicated disks.
Could you please advise ?

Hi,
As you have OS level clone ,you have same ASMlib label.
ASMlib always mount unique ASMLib label only.
+you need to identify those newly cloned device.
+ Then rename those ASMLib label using force-renamedisk after taking 1Mb disk backup using dd read on one node .
+ Then run scandisks on other nodes .
+ Then validate newly labelled device is mounted or not on all nodes .
$ ls -ltr /dev/oracleasm/disks/*
+ Then run renamedg command with asm_diskstring of /dev/oracleasm/disks/*

Having trouble pulling/cloning with git

Hi there,
I am experiencing troubles pulling or cloning from any given git repository using SSH. I can just fine do it over HTTPS, but I would much rather use SSH so I don't have to type in my password.
My error is this

It will just continue hanging here forever. If I restart it, it will just pick another percentage to stop at - it doesn't increment though. I just pick a random number below 14-ish. I have tried doing this

Which I think would indicate that I can connect to github using ssh. So I'm not sure what is happening. And I am not sure what I can do from here to check for errors. Do the lie at my computer? At the router? At my ISP? Can you give me an idea what to try or an idea about what could be wrong here?

I wasn't able to pinpoint anything specific with wireshark. Looks like it just did its job.
However, I suspected it was my internet. I just changed provider. So I tried with both HTTPS and SSH-over-VPN (encrypted).

First one is SSH on my normal connection, next is HTTPS and last is SSH over VPN. As you can see I only encounter a problem with SSH over my normal connection, but when the request gets encrypted and VPN'd there is no problem. So I'm pretty sure it's a modem/router/ISP problem now. I just don't have any idea about how I should handle this. I saw somebody somewhere mention I could tried changing the MTU value. I will try calling into my ISP tomorrow to hear about this, but such places usually just have peoples reading from a screen telling me what to do and have no idea what my problem is...
Beside calling in, do anyone have an idea I could try?

Having problems cloning a new hard drive to install in Macbook Pro 2012

I have a 2009 MBP and I just bought a Crucial 256GB SSD drive. I have cloned it a couple of ways (SuperDuper & CCC) and also tried installing my MBP hybrid drive into the new 2012 MBP. Nothing I have tried has worked. What happens is when I boot I hear a loud beep and then in about 15-20 seconds I get the circle with a cross through it. The original drive in the 2012 MBP works fine but obviously I want all my data from my 2009 MBP + my shiny new SSD drive.
Any ideas?!?

Do this:
Install the drive back to your Macbook 2012. Put your Crucial SSD in a USB enclosure.
Go to your utilities folder and open Migration Assitant and copy the files or apps over using that.
Once you've done that and you can see your files and apps on the 2012 Macbook.
You can now proceed in formatting or erasing your SSD using Disk Utility. Format it MAC OS Extended Journaled.
Open Carbon Copy and start cloning. Source Drive your macbook hard drive. Destination: your SSD.
Now hit clone - you will get a pop up sayingt that a recovery partition is was not created. Create one using Carbon Copy. Once that's done, proceed with the clone.
Once the clone is done, then install your SSD in your 2012 Macbook and everything should now boot up fine.
If you find your boot time is taking too long after you've installed your SSD, go to system preferences - startup disk and select your SSD as the startup, restart and you should be up to speed now.
Good luck and don't do any short cuts - follow these steps so you won't have any issues.

After I send a text to somone, if they answer me, there is no sound to notify me. People do not always answer me right away, so I want a sound to occur everytime someone texts me, even if we are having a conversation. Is there a setting?

Is there a setting so when I receive a text it will always make a sound- Even if I am in a conversation with someone? People do not always answer my text right away so I don't know that they respond because there is no sound notification.

It will make a sound if i receive a text from someone. The problem occurs when I am in a conversation with a person. It only makes a sound the first time. After that, no sound is made. If they don't answer me right away, i don't know that they have responded and I miss a lot of texts. I have the sound turned on and up and have a sound chosen for texts in settings.
