Closing NetStream doesn't stop loading data in Opera

Hi,
i'm wondering if any of you experienced this problem before?
For me Flash Player doesn't stop loading data when issuing
the close command for a net stream that is progressively
downloading data, only the video stops. I'm using Windows XP SP2,
Opera 9.27 and Flash Player 9.0.124.0. It works fine in Firefox,
Mozilla, Seamonkey, IE and Safari.
I'm not doing anything special, just the following script

and then closing the stream with "ns.close()".

Greeetings,
It's probably still loading some content, such as Flash-based ads, etc. If you don't like those, disable JavaScript in Preferences>Security or install click2flash. You can also just press the Esc (Escape key) to stop the loading entirely.

IPhoto doesn't stop loading when I open it

About a month ago I opened iPhoto ( iPhoto 9.1.5, I believe) to see this. I thought maybe it was just being slow, but after waiting 30 minutes it was still loading. Whenever I click one of the bottom right options such as 'share' it quits unexpectedly. I'm worried it may be because I could have accidentally deleted one of the files when I was removing stuff from the 'today' file under the search bar option. I've tried the command+option options but they don't work either. I would really like to be able to fix this on my own because I'm a full time student and I also work, so I don't have the extra time. I would prefer not to restore it back to factory settings because of all my school papers and music. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right-click context menu while saving an image.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
* Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
* Click the favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
* Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
* Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
* Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
* If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Data stops loading every morning

Around 7:20 every morning, my iPhone just stops loading data. I'm able to receive & send data up to about that time. Then it just dies & doesn't do anything...no texts, emails, in game data, nothing. I have full bars & the 4G icon displays when this happens. It will usually take 2 reboots of the phone to get it to work again.
This has been going on for quite a while & frankly I'm getting sick of it. It seems to have started ever since I upgraded to the new stinkin' iOS version 5.1.1.
Any ideas as to what could be causing it? It's frustrating to have the phone simply stop transferring data for no apparent reason. And it definitely shouldn't take 2 reboots of the phone on a daily basis to get it to work again.

Sounds more like a carrier issue to me. In order to test, try restoring your phone as new one day and testing under those conditions. That should tell you if it is the phone (possibly) or your carrier dropping your data for a little bit.

Well, I do... it's dated Nov. 5, 2013. iTunes was updated to 11.2.2 after that date wasn't it? Like in June, 2014, correct? Fuhgeddaboutit!
So I marked it as not being helpful - whatever.
ARE WE HAVING FUN YET? Fasten your safety harness, cause we have some real exciting, mundane stuff comin' right at cha next.
Next I need to know if you are the only user with Admin privs for the iTunes Account; iTunes can be finicky when there several users and more than one and only one has Admin privs. You can share media but if someone whose name we won't mention thinks that they can be an Admin too, you'll have to straighten that out behind closed doors. I know, I know... this is probably is not the case. This is just boilerplate stuff we have to get out of the way... just because.
Next we have the 'safe boot' approach. That's when you shut down completely and then start the machine up while holding down the shift key until you finally get to Safe Mode (it takes longer to start up doing this because the system is clearing certain caches & making sure some other things are ok). But once you get there, it usually indicates that (in red letters) right on your sign-in screen.
So after you sign in, you simply try to open iTunes. No wait! LOL! There is no sound in Safe Mode but what we are doing by starting up iTunes - in addition to the aforementioned, is trying to rule-out any conflicts with any 3rd part software that may be interfering with iTunes.But the good news is that if iTunes starts which it probably will - albeit w/ no sound, then at least you know what the problem isn't.
FYI, that's how a differential diagnosis is done. Just ask this guy:

To be honest, if none of this helps, you're best bet is checking out the iTunes threads... especially if Chris CA is around cause he's the top gun (for iTunes) & pose the question via a new thread like, "Why won't Genius go away?" He solves problems like this - bada bing bada boom.

What is the best way to kill/stop a data load?
I have a data load from my QA R/3 system that is extracting 115.000.000+ records. The problem is that the selection in the function module used in the data source does not work, and the problem was not detected because of the nature of the data on the development system.
I could kill processes owned by my background user (on both R/3 and BW) but I risk killing other loads, and sometimes the job seems to restart if I just try to kill processes. If I remove transactional RFCs in SM58 the load does not terminate; I only skip one or more datapackages. I have also tried to change the QM-status in the monitor to red, but that does not stop the load either...
So isn't there a nice fool-proof way of stopping a dataload?

There r 2 ways to kill the job.
One is using transation RSMO locate the job and display the status tab double click on the yellow light that is shown on the line total, a pop will come 'set overall status ' is displayed select the desired status that is red and save it. Then return to the monitor page and select the header tab double ckick on the data target right click and then goto 'manage',there should be request sitting there probably with yellow lights , highlight the line with the faulty request click the delete button then click refresh button.
Second is goto SM37 and click on the active selection and enter the jobname and then click excute the particulr job should appear highlight the jobname then click on the stop iconthat appears on the taskbar( 3 rd from left)

0FI_AR_4 extractor loaded data doesn't match ECC

Hi all.
I load data through 0FI_AR_4 into 0FIAR_O03 DSO and 0FIAR_C03 by several FULL loads (closed fiscal periods) and Initial Delta. When I check amounts in BI and ECC using fbl5n I get these figures:
2 542 230 491,77 in BI
2 542 229 491,77 in ECC
As you can see data almost the same except the fact what in BI it is 1000 more.
I got more amount differences by Dunning Level.
I have no idea why. Any ideas?

If you did the history loads then a init no data txf when the users where still posting data then yes you will get balance differences at a dunnign level
This is because the concept of closed fiscal periods as I explained in another of your posts has absolutely no concept within AR (yes you can close periods for NEW Postings) - when you dunn a customer you will dunn outstanding requestys in a prior period - thus the full loads didnt pick this up
Of course you could have thought all this through and arranged downtime when you did you history loads and then tht init
Normally for a AR4 take on after productive start you do a init no data txf - then history repair loads not the other ay around - because the change documents for prioe periods will never come through

The PSE 10 process doesn't stop after closing the application. Why??

On Windows 7, the PSE 10 process doesn't stop when closing the application, therefore the PSE 10 app. will not restart once it is closed. The user must stop the process from task manager or reboot before PSE 10 can be restarted on a Windows 7 machine. The forum suggestion to double-click the exe (instead of the shortcut) as a solution, obviously isn't a solution and can't work. There are no updates to PSE 10 and the only access to any support is through this forum. There have been complaints about this on blogs all over the Internet. Why can't Adobe come up with a fix/update or if they have where is it posted?

First of all, there is no difference between the files on the disk and those downloaded as the trial. The only difference is that one comes with a serial number and the other does not. You can put your serial number into the trial version and it will then be activated. The only way the disk would behave differently is if there is some physical flaw (scratches, warping, etc). Usually such damage will cause the installation to fail, it's pretty difficult for such damage to modify the files in such a way that they still install but behave differently.
If you are dropping a file on the shortcut and the Photoshop Elements Editor is opening but the file is not, there could be a few different things going on there. Check your shortcut properties first: does it go to PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe or Photoshop Elements 10.0.exe? If the former, then there are probably some missing support files. If the latter, this is the Welcome Screen, which has likely been configured to launch the Editor automatically. However, you would be sending the file to the Welcome Screen, which doesn't do anything with the file. It is not capable of passing the file off to the Editor, only capable of launching it.
Also, double-clicking a shortcut is generally the exact same thing as double-clicking the file the shortcut points to, but you can add modifiers to shortcuts to make them behave differently.

How to stop add-ons manager tab from loading at start up of Firefox 3.6.17 (disabling the update add ons option doesn't stop it)?

Recently firefox has started loading the plugin checker in a new tab everytime it starts. This is annoying and turning off the automatic check for addon updates doesn't stop it.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.

Loading data into essbase - can't stop the loading process

Hello Everyone
I have built an interface which loads data into essbase.
The interface was working great until last night, don't know why it got stuck in the stage of loading data into essbase
(This is my bonus question, why? does it have anything to do wit hte fact that I have refreshed the database via planning)
Any way, we have tried to kill the loading process by clicking stop on the interface execution in operator, and even after we killed the
session in essbase it was still there in essbase.
Does anyone know why?

I can't answer your questions but ...
I'm really familiar with the fact that trying to stop an execution fail.
The only solution I found is to pass by an agent for all my executions.
With an agent if I have a problem, as an emergency I can stop the agent it will stop the execution...
I'm sure that it is a bit dirty but it works...
And that is better than nothing...
The ugliest and only way I found without agent to stop an execution was to drop a table used by the job (like a I$ table) it forces the failed...
Sorry no more clue.

I have synced my phone to my computer several times. This time i received this message: "iTunes was unable to load data class infor from sync services. Reconnect or try again later." It says if I want to sync calendar I must install Outlook to my computer?? Why does iTunes not recongnize that I already have Outlook installed on my computer?

This worked for me...i did a restore on my computer to take it to a date prior to the last update i did on itunes and now it works just fine. Everytime i do a backup it syncs my Outlook! When a request comes up saying there's a new version of itunes click here to download the latest one DON'T do it.

Data source doesn't show porper data while flat file data loading

Hi Experts,
I am trying to load data from flat file for info object 0GL_ACCOUNT. I have created an application component and data source.
My question is after loading text data in the corresponding data source, it shows only few characters of the actual data.
For Ex. in my original data i have G/L account name "Comp Hardware Purchase" but after loading into the data source it shows only "Comp Hardwa".
I want to show the whole name "Comp Hardware Purchase ". I know there is some text length problem but i couldn't find it. What steps i need to follow?
Please help.

HI Niranjan,
Go to your data source and check whether the field and infoobject are having the same lenght. If the infoobject lenght is less than your field lenght wihc is coming from Flat file then such issue occur.
Search for your flatfile datasource and and doubel clik on the datasource and check the fileds tabs, there you will have the mapping or you can also check your Transfer or Update rules of the target.

Firefox stops loading webpages after sometimes, stopping all plugincontainer.exe doesn't help either, help!

I downloaded Firefox4 and started using it. It stopped loading webpages after sometime, I checked the task manager and found out that a lot of plugincontainer.exe processes are running, I stopped them all but that didn't help either. Please help.
