CLR Deployment TRUSTWORTHY issues in sqlproj

When trying to deploy a CLR project that has been converted to a new sqlproj format, we get issues with TRUSTWORTHY that we never used to get.
I notice that when I deploy to some of our databases the following gets included in the generated script:
IF IS_SRVROLEMEMBER(N'sysadmin') = 1
BEGIN
IF EXISTS (SELECT 1
FROM [master].[dbo].[sysdatabases]
WHERE [name] = N'$(DatabaseName)')
BEGIN
EXECUTE sp_executesql N'ALTER DATABASE [$(DatabaseName)]
SET TRUSTWORTHY OFF
WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE';
END
END
ELSE
BEGIN
PRINT N'The database settings cannot be modified. You must be a SysAdmin to apply these settings.';
END
If I manually change the "TRUSTWORTHY OFF" to "ON" then it deploys correctly.
Also, when we deploy the CLR project to other environment this block is not included in the generated script and we have to add it (with the ON/OFF fix) in order to deploy.
In every case I've been onto the database and done the GRANT TRUSTWORTHY, SET TRUSTWORTHY ON, EXEC sp_configure 'clr enabled' , '1' etc that is usually needed to deploy the CLR projects.
Can anyone give any guidance on the project settings or environment issues that cause the block to be included or absent from deployment. Is the ON/OFF value deliberate, and if so why does it only work for me if I manually change it?
Cheers
Richard

Oh No you Dint! AHHHHHHHHHH. What a waste of three hours! Can I still say "Someone should be shot" in 2015 or is the world too politically correct?
Bottom line: Yes your fixed worked:
->TRUSTWORTHY is set to OFF by default (safe default) for SSDT projects, but that is configurable
->from
->project
>properties through Project Settings | Database Settings| Miscellaneous
THANK YOU.
What I was doing was setting the entire database to Trustworthy....never thinking that the CLR deployment would have been able to change the database settings for the entire database until it became apparent.
Keywords so others can find:
MSSQL database resets itself turns off TRUSTWORTHY  resets TRUSTWORTHY
Entire database false clr clr deploy deployment publish

  • ISE HA Deployment prerequisite issue.

I encountered this HA node deployment issue.Actually , I finished this feature with the enviroment of CA and DNS.However,Can I finish ISE‘s HA deployment without CA and DNS.
When I adding the second ISE node to the first one,I fill the blank with the second ISE's server IP address, the system notification indicates that Unalbe to authenticate xxx. Please check server and CA certificate configuration and try agian.
After that notification, I deploy the CA and DNS server. Also I signed the certificate and install the root CA for both ISE nodes,DNS records also be done. After that,I fill the blank with second ISE's FQDN and administration account .It can be done successfully.
So if my enviroment doesn't have CA and DNS.Does that mean I can't finish ISE'S HA function?
Any help or suggestion will be appreciated!

    Hi,
You can not do ISE HA deployment without CA and DNS.
DNS :  When you upgrade a complete Cisco ISE deployment, Domain Name System (DNS) server resolution is mandatory; otherwise the upgrade will fail.
CA :  During the split deployment upgrade, before you register the nodes to the new primary Administration node, you must do the following:
-If you use self-signed certificate, you must import the self-signed certificate of all nodes to your new primary Administration node.
-If you use different CA certificates for the nodes, you must import all the CA certificates into the new primary Administration node.
-If you use the same CA certificate for the nodes, you must import that CA certificate into the new primary Administration node.

  • GroupWise 2012 Deployment Bundle Issue - Not Installing

    Hello There,
I have an issue to deploy the GroupWise 2012 client via Zen 11.1 (Had no prob to deploy GroupWise 8)
I followed the well-done tutorial from youtube (Novell GroupWise 2012 Deployed Using ZCM 11 SP1 Part 1 - YouTube) or/and the guide (http://www.novell.com/feeds/nih/wp-c...5/GW06_lab.pdf) but it seems that it does not want to work as shown. I googled to see if anyone had the same prob but it seems not to be the case. So I assume I missed something but I do not find the trick.
Everything works until it launches the install.bat as when I get the notification that it has completed the installation the only thing I see is that no GroupWise 2012 is installed at all and that GroupWise 8 has been uninstalled. During the process I see that it copies the first 800 files in Program Files\novell\groupwise but just before telling me that he finished all files are removed. I did not do the step where it should launch GroupWise.
I re-created a bundles and tried to install GroupWise 2012 as GroupWise 8 but it did not work.
It is really frustrating as I really need it to be deployed and that it was meant to be simple.
I would be grateful if anyone could help on that.
    Thank you in advance,
    OAKFND

I don't have GW for any type of testing, but what I would do for testing
    is .......
Replace the Install.bat with just calling CMD.exe
    then from the command prompt
walk through the commands in the install.bat one by one to see what is
    happening............

    Hi Ram,
If you were deploying the artifacts using AID, make sure that the AIDInstallerProperties.xml is properly configured with password/server details for the involved system(s).
During deployment time, AID gets server details from that file and connects to it.
Else, retry configuring this xml file using AIA's config.sh
    Thanks,
    Harikiran

  • WebLogic 10.2 Annotation Override/Deployment Plan Issue

We're migrating applications from WLS 9.2.1 over to 10.2. When we create the deployment plan and configure the overrides we find that some of the web service controls overrides are ignored and the defaults are used.
This was not an issue for 9.2.1 and I've not been able to find any information about this.
    Has anyone experienced this before?
    Chris

This issue turned out to be a missing target during the ant build process.

  • VC - Compile and Deploy performance issues related to UserID

    Dear Guru's,
I'm currently working at a customer where a small team of 4 is working with VC 7.0.
One user has very long Compile and Deploy times. We first thought that it was related to his workstation.
Then one of the other guys logged in on his PC and run the compile + deploy ant then it suddenly takes seconds again.
So we created a new userID for this user who has the issues "<oldUI>+test" and suddenly all is back to normal for him.
But, now here it comes that we deleted his old userID and created it again, but the issue is still there.
So my assumption is that there is some kind of faulty record or index or something other strange linked to his userID.
What can this be and how can we solve it?
    Thanks in advance!
    Benjamin

    Hi Anja,
We use VC on 7.0 and we do not have any integration with the DTR.
So in other words we use the default way of working with VC.
The user had his models in his Personal folder then moved it to the Public folder so that other colleagues could see/try them as well. It doesn't matter where the model is stored (public or personal) as long if this specific UID is used compiling/deploying goes very slow... the log files do not give much info, why this happens...
    Cheers,
    Benjamin

  • DaRT Deployment Shrink Issue

I am working on deploying DaRT in our environment and want to do a WinRe replacement.  This process works great, but I have come across an issue on some machines where the disk cannot shrink by the 500MB that I need.  Most machines are alright,
but many that have 30-80GB free have no room to shrink.  Are there any useful tips to getting around this?  (I'm not sure putting this on the primary partition is a valid option because that partition cannot be repaired should something go awry)
    My Diskpart steps are:
    SELECT VOLUME C
    SHRINK DESIRED=500
    SELECT DISK 0
    CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY SIZE=500
    FORMAT FS=NTFS LABEL="DaRT"
    ASSIGN LETTER=R
    Thanks in advance.
    Best, Jacob I'm a PC.

    Hi Amol,
Thanks for reply. My problem is diffrent I have sufficient ATD quantity and all settings are maintained properly. Say purchase requisition quantity is 130 EA and rounding value is 50. Then after deployment run I am getting order of 100EA and for remaining 30EA we are getting open PR which will not get convert in to deployment order. So there will be always shortage of 30 in ECC. I want system to round up quantity to 150EA.
Hope you have understand issue. Kindly let me know fir more information.

  • Deployment plan issue for JMSApplication rar file deployment

I have predeployed resource file JmsAdapter with a deployment plan reference. I want to update the Deployment Plan path as I currently don't have any deployment for this resource file deployment. Please suggest how to revert back to the (no plan defined) option. How can I change the value. Please suggest the admin console is pretty picky and mandates on putting a reference to deployment plan. But initially there was no deployment plan and I want to revert to that state again. The WebLogic version is 10.3

  • FCM deployment/ Weblogic issues

    Hi all,
I hope I am posting in the correct forum, but I am having an issue with "Deploying to SOA" PART OF configuring FCM 11.1.2.2 on a single node. On the configuration steps, it asks me to Start ADMIN WLS which I have but when I start SOA managed server with this command c:\oracle\middleware\user_projects\domains\<domain>\bin\startmanagedweblogic.cmd soa_server1, it errors out as show below.
    There are 1 nested errors:
    weblogic.management.ManagementException: [Management:141223]The server name soa_
server1 specified with -Dweblogic.Name does not exist. The configuration include
    s the following servers {AdminServer,EPMServer0,AnalyticProviderServices0,Essbas
    eAdminServices0,Planning0,HFMWeb0,ErpIntegrator0,FinancialClose0}.
So I went to Oracle Instance Home\Domains\EPMSystem\Servers\ and it shows the configured components as well as SOA_SERVER1. During the initial deployment of FCM and ARM, I did mistakenly deploy to to EPMSYSTEM and it looks like I should have deployed to Base_domain which I did during my re-deploy.
The environment is: Windows Server 2008 with Oracle RDBMS 11G. Please advise.

This is now fixed. I discovered that I deployed my EPM components to EPMSYSTEM domain , yet was trying to deploy FCM ARM to "base domain" .. My fault.

  • Deployment rounding issue

    Dear Friends,
After running deployment for purchase requisitions coming from PP/DS I am getting message:
Deployment stock transfer was not confirmed (                                             11,000 <           40,000 (rounding value))
Here 11 is PR quantity and 40 is rounding value. Some PRs are not getting converted in deployment orders and so getting material shortage. We want system to upsize PR(purchase requisition) qty to rounding value in this case.
Please suggest any note, setting, user exit or BAdi to do this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Shirish

  • Windows Deployment Services Issues

i have a Windows deployment Services server running , and at the same server i am running dhcp as well as dns server. the network series is 10.241.0.1 to 10.241.0.105 , questions:
Q: if i want the dhcp server to offer ip address in the network of 10.241.1.1 is it possible or i need to take the dhcp server in the network series of 1.
Q: sometimes there is a problem in wds , the client pc says no dhcp proxies were offered, how do i resolve that ?
Q:While entering the scope in the dhcp server, the dhcp server says the IP is overlapped or invalid ip address, any solutions ?
Q: i have multiple operating systems to deploys via network, so how is that possible , should i create a new image group or can i add the images in the same images and will it ask during the startup ? i tried by adding the other os to the group , the first
os gets booted and installed but when i select the second operating system says, wdsclient error, no dhcp offered , , , , and so.

    Hi,
According to your description, I list your questions and the suggestions for each question as bellow:
Q: if i want the dhcp server to offer ip address in the network of 10.241.1.1 is it possible or i need to take the dhcp server in the network series of 1.
If there are 2 network, 10.241.0.1/24 and 10.241.1.1/24, and you want the DHCP server (which is belong to network 10.241.0.1/24 ) to provide DHCP service to clients on network 10.241.1.1/24. You may configure a DHCP relay agent on network 10.241.1.1/24, in
order to forwarder DHCP messages between clients (which are on network 10.241.1.1/24) and DHCP server. Detailed information about how to configure DHCP relay agent you may reference the link:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd469685.aspx
Q: sometimes there is a problem in wds , the client pc says no dhcp proxies were offered, how do i resolve that ?
On the client which says no DHCP proxies were offered, open CMD, type “ipconfig /all” and hit Enter, check to see if it obtains the correct parameters. If not, type “ipconfig /release“ and “ipconfig /renew” to renew IP address.
Q:While entering the scope in the dhcp server, the dhcp server says the IP is overlapped or invalid ip address, any solutions ?
On a DHCP server, you can create only on scope for a subnet. If you have created a scope from 10.241.0.1 to 10.241.0.105, with subnet mask 255.255.255.0, then a scope with network ID 10.241.0.0 can’t be created. You may use
Exclusions to resolve this problem. If the problem still exit, please provide the scope and relate parameters you want to add, and the exiting scope you have already added on the DHCP server.
Q: i have multiple operating systems to deploys via network, so how is that possible , should i create a new image group or can i add the images in the same images and will it ask during the startup ? i tried by adding the other os to the group ,
the first os gets booted and installed but when i select the second operating system says, wdsclient error, no dhcp offered , , , , and so.
You must have a working DHCP server with an active scope on the network because Windows Deployment Services uses PXE, which relies on DHCP for IP addressing. Make sure that your DHCP implement is working and let us resolve the above 3 problems first. Besides,
you may reference the link for detailed information about Windows Deployment Services Getting Started Guide:

  • GPO deploy printer issue always "Pending addition"

    Hi,
I use the GPO to deploy printer to all client, but the status of these printer always show "pending addition" as below:
Can you point me if anything I miss?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Printer Group Policy Preference is exist in both Computer Configuration and user Configuration, and have three kinds of printers to deploy: TCP/IP Printer, Local Printer, and Shared Printer.
Which kind of GPP do you select and which GPP Action do you select? “Set the printer as default printer” option is not available in Computer Configuration Printer Extension.
You may try User Configuration\Preference\Control Panel Settings\Printers\new shared printer item.

  • Component Deployment / Development Issues

    Hi All,
I've been tasked with developing a few components to help decode incoming barcode information and ran into the following issues:
    Must compile using Java 1.5;
    Add directory entries must be checked;
A slash "\" can not be used anywhere in the code;  "new Character((char)47).toString()" was used instead.
    Example.class.getPackage().getName() does not work;
After waisting a day of debugging trying to understand and resolve the above issues, I was wondering if someone propose sites that have tips and tricks, examples, etc.  outside the Adobe Forums or Adobe Documentation (It's very sparce).
