Hi Ram,
If you were deploying the artifacts using AID, make sure that the AIDInstallerProperties.xml is properly configured with password/server details for the involved system(s).
During deployment time, AID gets server details from that file and connects to it.
Else, retry configuring this xml file using AIA's config.sh
Thanks,
Harikiran

Is it possible for you to paste the deployment command that was executed for the above failure? You could try doing a manual install. Before executing the FPInstallDP.xml during the manual install add the following jar to your classpath
    ${MW_HOME}/oracle_common/jlib/commons-cli-1.0.jar.

  • DVD player artifact issue on certain player only

Can anyone tell me please why this is happening!!
I'm nearly finished with a documentary project. It's 64 minutes long. I used the DVD 90 minute Best settings with Dolby audio in Compressor and DVDSP build and burn. It works fine in the simulator in DVDSP and in my home and office DVD player. But my client gave me six pages of notes reporting what she called "skipping". I re-tested the DVD in my player and still wasn't seeing an issue. So I watched it on her player and noticed some artifacting and dropped frames.
I thought it might be due to a dirty player. So I had her do a cleaning and there will still some issues though not as many.
    Why would this happen?
I'm concerned because if I cannot even see the problem on my players, how will I know if I've solved it? I've searched the forums and found similar questions, but nothing exactly like this.
Grateful for any help you can provide:)

There are MANY reasons why certain players skip and others do not. Some players by nature are better designed to play DVD-R. Some are simply more forgiving. While one player happily plays over problem areas, others choke.
Most of the times, the problem results from poor quality DVD-R media. There are actually 4 different grades A, B, C & F! You should ONLY be using A grade media.
Those cheap 100 disc $19.99 spindles at the local Costco, Wal-mart etc., may sound like a deal, however, most are useful only as drink coasters and even when a disc gets recorded to what may seem to be correct, in actuality, is not.
Surf to http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/index.htm for more details on which media you should be using.
Are you by any chance using a PAPER LABEL on the disc? If so, STOP. Buy printable surface media ONLY. Invest in a Bravo printer and you won't go wrong.
Many players do not handle media well with a paper label on it.
Finally, make sure you're burning a 1X (yes I said ONE TIMES) speed! Errors will creep up in quick burns that will also result in problems.
If you are doing everything right, it could be her player!

    Darren

  • AIA Deployment Failed After Patching

    Hi Oracle Community,
We have a AIA purchase order interface. The interface itself has about 8 composites. We have been successfully using the following process to deploy the interface for the past 12 months:
    ant -f $AIA_HOME/Infrastructure/Install/AID/AIAInstallDriver.xml -DDeploymentPlan=$AIA_HOME/deploy/purchaseorder/PurchaseOrderInterfaceDP.xml -DPropertiesFile=$AIA_HOME/aia_instances/<instance_name>/config/AIAInstallProperties.xml
However, we have recently applied patch 'AIA 11.1.1.6 Rollup Patch 5 – Patch 17423167' to our Weblogic 11.1.1.6 environment. Since then we get the error below when attempting to deploy this AIA interface.
    BUILD FAILED
/oracle/product/Middleware/AIA/Infrastructure/Install/AID/AIAExecuteDriver.xml:118: The following error occurred while executing this line:
/oracle/product/Middleware/AIA/Infrastructure/Install/AID/AIAExecuteDriver.xml:65: The following error occurred while executing this line:
    /oracle/product/Middleware/AIA/aia_instances/AIA_TEST/tmp/AIDExecuteDP_temp_1308451709.xml:4: Unknown attribute [partition]
Note that we are unable to deploy any of our AIA interfaces using this method since patching.
Has anyone come across this problem?
    Hoang

After further investigations, we removed the partition reference from the deployment script thereby deploying to the default partition and deployment was successful.
I passed this knowledge onto sysadmins and a partition configuration step was missed. After configuration, deployment worked successfully as per prepatching.

  • ISE HA Deployment prerequisite issue.

I encountered this HA node deployment issue.Actually , I finished this feature with the enviroment of CA and DNS.However,Can I finish ISE‘s HA deployment without CA and DNS.
When I adding the second ISE node to the first one,I fill the blank with the second ISE's server IP address, the system notification indicates that Unalbe to authenticate xxx. Please check server and CA certificate configuration and try agian.
After that notification, I deploy the CA and DNS server. Also I signed the certificate and install the root CA for both ISE nodes,DNS records also be done. After that,I fill the blank with second ISE's FQDN and administration account .It can be done successfully.
So if my enviroment doesn't have CA and DNS.Does that mean I can't finish ISE'S HA function?
Any help or suggestion will be appreciated!

    Hi,
You can not do ISE HA deployment without CA and DNS.
DNS :  When you upgrade a complete Cisco ISE deployment, Domain Name System (DNS) server resolution is mandatory; otherwise the upgrade will fail.
CA :  During the split deployment upgrade, before you register the nodes to the new primary Administration node, you must do the following:
-If you use self-signed certificate, you must import the self-signed certificate of all nodes to your new primary Administration node.
-If you use different CA certificates for the nodes, you must import all the CA certificates into the new primary Administration node.
-If you use the same CA certificate for the nodes, you must import that CA certificate into the new primary Administration node.

  • Camera RAW pixel artifact issue

This is something that has been bothering me for a while and I don't understand how other people don't see it.. Mainly due to the fact that you need to be zoomed in about 300% or more on an image to see it. I have only seen Lightroom 3 rendered jpeg files without this problem. I am talking about the absurdly weird artifacts in the pixel makeup when zoomed in on a edited image rendered by Adobe Camera raw 5.6 and lower. It looks like worms have been moving around under all the pixels. It is not a clean and definate pixel noise ratio that you would get from rendering images from their native software for example ViewNX, Capture NX nor Canon's DPP.

    1. Do you see the worms in LR/ACR too, in this magnification, or only in the JPEG version?
    2. Do you see them in a TIFF as well?
    3. If they are not there in TIFF: create a JPEG from the TIFF. I guess LR too has a "preview" option, showing the effect of conversion in the image in the currently displayed magnification. Change the "quality" setting and watch for the effect (you have to wait a bit to see the effect of the change). If I do this in CS3, the worms are there up to quality 8, most of them vanish with 9 and it is clean from 10.
If the worms are visible already during the raw processing, i.e. in LR/ACR, then it is a different issue, probably camera dependent.

  • GroupWise 2012 Deployment Bundle Issue - Not Installing

    Hello There,
I have an issue to deploy the GroupWise 2012 client via Zen 11.1 (Had no prob to deploy GroupWise 8)
I followed the well-done tutorial from youtube (Novell GroupWise 2012 Deployed Using ZCM 11 SP1 Part 1 - YouTube) or/and the guide (http://www.novell.com/feeds/nih/wp-c...5/GW06_lab.pdf) but it seems that it does not want to work as shown. I googled to see if anyone had the same prob but it seems not to be the case. So I assume I missed something but I do not find the trick.
Everything works until it launches the install.bat as when I get the notification that it has completed the installation the only thing I see is that no GroupWise 2012 is installed at all and that GroupWise 8 has been uninstalled. During the process I see that it copies the first 800 files in Program Files\novell\groupwise but just before telling me that he finished all files are removed. I did not do the step where it should launch GroupWise.
I re-created a bundles and tried to install GroupWise 2012 as GroupWise 8 but it did not work.
It is really frustrating as I really need it to be deployed and that it was meant to be simple.
I would be grateful if anyone could help on that.
    Thank you in advance,
    OAKFND

I don't have GW for any type of testing, but what I would do for testing
    is .......
Replace the Install.bat with just calling CMD.exe
    then from the command prompt
walk through the commands in the install.bat one by one to see what is
    happening............

  • WebLogic 10.2 Annotation Override/Deployment Plan Issue

We're migrating applications from WLS 9.2.1 over to 10.2. When we create the deployment plan and configure the overrides we find that some of the web service controls overrides are ignored and the defaults are used.
This was not an issue for 9.2.1 and I've not been able to find any information about this.
    Has anyone experienced this before?
    Chris

This issue turned out to be a missing target during the ant build process.

  • Graphics/artifacting issues with new mid-2014 15" MacBookPro Retina

I'm having graphics issues with my new 15" mid-2014 2.8 MacBookPro Retina.  It came with Yosemite.  I keep get glitchy
artifacting when using Premiere Pro and After Effects (CC 2014), obviously, but then even just while using Finder when AE and PP are closed.
I've read about it with earlier models, but nothing about the new ones.
I turned off the Automatic Graphics Switching in Energy Saver and just updated my CUDA NVIDIA driver.  It's still a problem.  Any ideas on what to do next?
    Thanks in advance.

Remove CUDA and see whether there's an improvement.
To remove CUDA, triple-click anywhere in the first line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Frameworks/CUDA.framework
    /Library/LaunchAgents/com.nvidia.CUDASoftwareUpdate.plist
    /Library/PreferencePanes/CUDA Preferences.prefPane
    /System/Library/Extensions/CUDA.kext
    /System/Library/StartupItems/CUDA
    /usr/local/cuda
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Continue with the remaining lines. Some of the items may be absent, in which case you'll get a message that the file couldn't be found. After moving all the above items to the Trash, restart the computer and empty the Trash. Don't try to empty the Trash until you have restarted.
If you haven't already done so, back up all data before making any changes.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

  • VC - Compile and Deploy performance issues related to UserID

    Dear Guru's,
I'm currently working at a customer where a small team of 4 is working with VC 7.0.
One user has very long Compile and Deploy times. We first thought that it was related to his workstation.
Then one of the other guys logged in on his PC and run the compile + deploy ant then it suddenly takes seconds again.
So we created a new userID for this user who has the issues "<oldUI>+test" and suddenly all is back to normal for him.
But, now here it comes that we deleted his old userID and created it again, but the issue is still there.
So my assumption is that there is some kind of faulty record or index or something other strange linked to his userID.
What can this be and how can we solve it?
    Thanks in advance!
    Benjamin

    Hi Anja,
We use VC on 7.0 and we do not have any integration with the DTR.
So in other words we use the default way of working with VC.
The user had his models in his Personal folder then moved it to the Public folder so that other colleagues could see/try them as well. It doesn't matter where the model is stored (public or personal) as long if this specific UID is used compiling/deploying goes very slow... the log files do not give much info, why this happens...
    Cheers,
    Benjamin

  • Unable to deploy artifacts to SOA MDS

    Hi,
When I try to deploy common artifacts to MDS through JDeveloper using procedure explained in this blog:
    http://yatanveersingh.blogspot.com/2011/07/mds-implementation-in-oracle-soa-11g.html ,
or try to do same thing using ant script as explained here:
    http://biemond.blogspot.se/2009/11/soa-suite-11g-mds-deploy-and-removal.html ,
result is same: everything is ok on my local environment, but on test environment deploy fail with this error:
There was an error deploying/undeploying composite on soa_server1: Error in reading data from deployer client.: /tmp/sar_base_dir_f6d9ba4f-d4c8-45d4-acd6-eab0fb527382/MDSLib_mds.jar (No such file or directory).
Only difference I can think of is that on local environment SOA Server doesn't have managed server (only AdminServer), and on test environment there is managed soa server beside AdminServer.
Any help is welcomed, thank you.
    Boris

    Server restart resolved problem.

  • DaRT Deployment Shrink Issue

I am working on deploying DaRT in our environment and want to do a WinRe replacement.  This process works great, but I have come across an issue on some machines where the disk cannot shrink by the 500MB that I need.  Most machines are alright,
but many that have 30-80GB free have no room to shrink.  Are there any useful tips to getting around this?  (I'm not sure putting this on the primary partition is a valid option because that partition cannot be repaired should something go awry)
    My Diskpart steps are:
    SELECT VOLUME C
    SHRINK DESIRED=500
    SELECT DISK 0
    CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY SIZE=500
    FORMAT FS=NTFS LABEL="DaRT"
    ASSIGN LETTER=R
    Thanks in advance.
    Best, Jacob I'm a PC.

    Hi Amol,
Thanks for reply. My problem is diffrent I have sufficient ATD quantity and all settings are maintained properly. Say purchase requisition quantity is 130 EA and rounding value is 50. Then after deployment run I am getting order of 100EA and for remaining 30EA we are getting open PR which will not get convert in to deployment order. So there will be always shortage of 30 in ECC. I want system to round up quantity to 150EA.
Hope you have understand issue. Kindly let me know fir more information.
    Thanks,
    Shirish
