Code for stroke around images

Question

I believe there is a code that will put a stroke around all
images on a site. Am I right? does anyone know what it is?

Why are you using spacer images at all? With CSS they're
hardly ever
necessary.

Forget that old 'border' attribute, it's deprecated and
doesn't even
come close to what you can do with CSS.
What images are we talking about anyway? Kind of a gallery or
something?
If you want to apply a border to a couple of images it's best
to apply a
class to the element that contains these images and use a
descendant
selector to style them. Something like:
<div class="gallery">
<img src="..." alt="...">
<img src="..." alt="...">
<img src="..." alt="...">
<img src="..." alt="...">
</div>
Then you can use a CSS like this:
.gallery img {border: 1px solid #000}
This would apply a thin black border to all images inside an
element of
the class "gallery".
