Hi
can anybody tell me the exact code of printing a line in layout of sap script ?

call function 'WRITE_FORM'
           EXPORTING
                element = element
           EXCEPTIONS
                element = 1
                window = 2.
where element is the name of the elemnt in your sap script.
The element should have the variables in &var&.
These variables shoudl be decalrd in your calling program

Here you determine which information is to be made available on the screen when processing line items (for example, document type, document number, account number, company code).

Break points set in an included script during debugging sporadically jump to the last line of the included script

As I stated in the title, I use the ScriptInclude command quite extensively, because we have at our company a policy of maintaining one large-ish (roughly 7k lines) function library which is included by various individual evaluation scripts. Debugging this with break points is often the only (useful) way to see into the state of the script, so I depend on them.
My problem is that often when I debug a script calling the function library, setting a break point in that library and running into it during debug mode will not transport the cursor to the location of the current break point, but instead to the very end of the included script. I have noticed this with a separate pair of scripts, as well, which includes a similar size script to call functions from (roughly 2k lines).
Now I wonder if this has to do with the size of the scripts included, or if it is dependent on something else. It seems to not be affected by restarting DIAdem, and sometimes it works as intended, but I have not been able to reliably replicate indivdual occurrences one way or the other.
Has anyone else had this problem happen to them?

I also use scriptincludes extensively, Most of mine are in the range of 500 to 2000 lines. Usually I organize them in logical code topics, I like to use them to hold one class most of the time. When I debug these I can set a breakpoint, and it will stop at that location.
I also use custom log class as well, I find this quite helpful, in the applications that are unattended.
The only thing I can think of to try is to separate the 7k file into 2 2k line files and then script include them separately.

ps. I sometimes need to have intellisense work from a file that was scriptincluded, this requires copying the file into the end of the main script. (you most likely already know this )
One other note, Are you talking about debuging code in a SUD, that is whole different problem to deal with.

first u need to create a bar code charcter format and then user the charcter format which field u want to use it to.
make sure that u printer supports barcode printing.
if ur printer is a Zebra printer then u need to write the code in in zebra printing code.

Unfortunately the instance in question has since been decommissioned and simply does not exist any more.
We're currently on a repeat count of over 350,000 and I would REALLY like to get it stopped. I've had a look at adding an override but that points to the management server rather than the instance itself.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

There are for option for us to override a monitor ot rule:
For all objects of class:
Class
When you select this option for your override, the override settings apply to all objects in the class at which the rule or monitor is targeted.
For a group
When you select this option for your override, the override settings apply only to members of the group. The rule or monitor without the override settings continues to apply to all objects in the targeted class except for those objects that are also members
of the group used for the override.
When you create a group, you save it to an unsealed management pack. However, an element in an unsealed management pack, such as an override, cannot reference an element in a different unsealed management pack, such as a group. If you are going to use a group
to limit the application of an override, you must either save the group to the same unsealed management pack as the override, or you must seal the management pack that contains the group.
For a specific object of class:
Class
When you select this option for your override, the override settings apply only to the specified object. The rule or monitor without the override settings continues to apply to all other objects in the targeted class.

Is it possible to have more than one Tax code per line item in Billing document ?

I have a different perspective there.
If an item is applicable for two different taxes which are represented by two different tax condition types and these tax conditions are configured in the tax procedure, FTXP and so on....then these two condition records can have two different tax codes.
We actually have this scenario in EU now, where EU talks about service tax in 2010 apart from the normal VAT. So now we have MWST and ZWST(Say)
Now there are some materials which come with a service associated with it. So a service charge is also levied when the material is sold. So the material price will become applicable for VAT and the service charge becomes applicable for service tax. In this case, the tax classification of the customer will have two entries in sales orders updated in the fields VBAK-TAXK1 and VBAK-TAXK2 based on the sequence number of these condition types.
Now based on different tax classification of the customer, we have 2 different tax codes representing different %of tax.

How to leave half line space in SAP Script

Actually , I have a doubt regarding half line spacing on SAP Script ..
I am working on Cheque Printing with fbz5
Now the issue in the date, there are 8 box for the date in cheque .
i.e 0 2 0 7 2 0 1 4
Currently the date is comming on the cheque box ..like half up the box and half inside
IF I give one space in cheque window of my script with / its taking complete 1 space
and result is ,it going down ..with one space
I want to leave exact half line space ..so date is adjusted in the middle .
I also tried moving my cheque window from upper margin in all format(CH , CM , MM IN ..) above
But it is taking exact one space .

While creating the tab position, you have a option of line spacing.
make it to 0.5 lines, to make exact half line.
And also another way out, you can check by moving the 8 box created for the date up by 0.5 lines.

Removing Blank Space (line) Accompanying Layout Breaks

I've used a layout break to make a portion of text two-column after a one-column section. Whatever I do, whereever I put it, the layout break takes space. It's a farily tight document, in a 10pt. font, and the line the layout break takes screws up the layout of the whole page. How can I get it to not put a whole blank line between the one-column section and the two-column section?

I might not fully understand the problem but take the paragraph break off the end of the line on the first section:

While posting the Travel Expenses, The system generates posting documents but gives error as "Enter the Section code for line number '000'". Please advise me about the activity to which this error is related to. I am giving Document type as AB.
This error is seen only if the Expense Type is related to some Vendor account like Expenses by company (Service provider's vendor a/c) or Advances paid to the employee & Expenses incurred by employee (Employee Vendor account)

I found that some validation criteria were maintained in Tcode OB28. We can edit those validation criteria to exclude Travel Management. OR it was suggested by FICO to use posting key as 34 instead of 31.
This solved my problem.

Please add exit to the last line of the sql script

Hi,
I am executing a sql script from UNIX shell. When I execute it at the command prompt the script executes successfully, but when I schedule the script on cron, the script is throwing an error with the above message
"Please add exit to the last line of the sql script"
Any idea what is happening? Thanks in advance for any help

anybody can tell me code of line drawing algorithm..if i hav two points a(x1,y1) and b(x2,y2) then
how kan i draw line using these points..

Use drawLine(int x1, int y1, int x2, int y2).
As I understand it you should only do the drawing in a paint method (or paintComponent method if you're using swing.) If you're wanting the lines to be "permanent" then draw to a drawing.
e.g. from a Logo/Turtle prog that I'm working on:

I would be very grateful if somebody could help.

The problem is absolutely not Reader. The problem is that FireFox has stepped in front of Reader and handles all the PDF stuff - wrongly in your case. FireFox is DESIGNED to take over PDF files. But it is not capable of doing IRS forms!
To start with go back to IE for these forms. When you save them to disk DO NOT DOUBLE CLICK ON THEM until this is fixed. Just open the in the normal way - start Adobe Reader and use Open from the File menu.

But in output of script I'm getting 5 line items, 1 each in 5 different pages of script.
But I need them one below the other in the same page...
