Code Went Wonky

I would appreciate another set of eyes looking at my code. Somehow, I have made my Content div come up into my header. The whole thing should actually be center aligned on the screen. I just can't seem to figure where I have gone wrong as I did ahve it right and beautiful looking until I started trying to place floats...which I have deleted for now.

Fonts went Wonky, what went wrong?

Hello,
I upgraded to iTunes 8.0.2 when the new software icon showed up a couple weeks ago, downloaded and restarted and visited the iTunes Store and all the fonts had been changed to some kind of bold symbol font. You can't read a thing. iTunes itself is fine but the store is wonky. I've got a screen grab to show. I haven't been able to figure out what went wrong, any ideas? I can't order a thing as I can't read anything!

Open Font Book. Under either the File or View menu (maybe is one of the other ones) there is a option to validate your fonts. You might want to see if your fonts are okay. You should also check for duplicate fonts in your Font Book. Any questions, reply back.

DW8 all code went black and crashes when you type

Well the message title about sums it up. ...
I haven't used DW8 for a few months and today when I went to
use it, all of the code for all pages i have designed is black.
And, syntax coloring is on from the View menu! To top it off, when
you go to type in the code, DW8 immediately crashes. I have never
had this problem and have spent hundreds of hours on DW without
this ever happening. This also happens if I start a new page??? I
uninstalled and reinstalled and the same issue happened...
I have a project to work on today so this is a major setback
- any ideas???????

Colors displayed went wonky!

While in the midst of resetting the color of highlight bars, my MacBook suddenly went buggy. The displays all look like a solarized Andy Warhol print.
I signed onto mac.com and updated software--is there something else I can do at home?

Hi Mean Mama D: It sounds like you may have been into System Prefences and made some changes. Try this: Go to "System Preferences" > "Universal Access" > "White on Black option" or "Enhance Contrast option"... see if these make adifference

Text went wonky!

I hope this is the right place to post this...
Recently, the text on my Mac has gone crazy! This doesn't affect the labels on the icons on my desktop or some of the fonts on Pages, but the rest of the text - online and off - is fragmented. It prints out this way, too. I've included a link to a screencap so that you all can see what I'm talking about. There have been no other problems with my Mac at all.
If anyone can tell me how to fix this, I'll be eternally grateful!!

We're not staff, but other Mac users here, asking questions and sharing solutions.
You put some new fonts on your Mac, eh?
One of them is a stencil font. It's most likely a "free" one, and it is
conflicting with another font. Open up Font Book, and look for the stencily font.
When you find it, delete it, and you should be fine.

Screen just went wonky

Out of no where this has happened to the computer we use as a storage device:
Looks like everything is 16 colours or something.
When I restart and get to the login screen it looks normal though:
And when I take a screenshot and open it on my laptop, it looks normal:
I ran disk utility from the install CD and the screen was fine there as well. I came up with a few small errors that it fixed, but on restart it still looks like the first picture....
I haven't installed anything on this computer in a long time, and like I say we use it for our file storage. Thoughts???

I'd say that something in your Display Preferences got changed.
Look in System Preferences/Displays and see what color settings are present.
One could always banish any abnormal settings by resetting the PRAM.
Shut the machine down, locate and hold the Command, Option P and R keys while starting.
Hold all 4 keys through the second startup chime and then release.
With anything other than bad luck, the system will then start normally and the color will be set to default settings (I believe that is Millions of Colors).
The most likely cause of all this (the sudden change/loss of settings) is probably due to a weak or dead PRAM battery.

Eprint activation code

Anyone out there able to tell me how to use the alleged security logon in E print. Eprint sent activation code to an E mail address. The page says insert activation code sent to the address.
WHERE on the page does the activation code get inserted???????????? "Activation" box send another email activation code. ( Nice endless loop)!

Please tap on the settings icon.
Please tap on ‘Activate now’.
Please enter your personal email address and then tap on ‘Activate’.
Please check your email for an email from [email protected]
Please enter the activation code into the app and then tap on ‘Activate’.
The app should now show that it is activated by showing your personal email in the settings.
If you run into any issues with the above, please let me know at which step things went wonky and what, if any, error messages said.

Any table which has Time stamp when a company code is created

Hi Guys,
This is a simple question but there has been no easy answer.
I have 100 company codes of which I would like to find when the company code went live. Does any one a simple way rather than going by Transport number.
-Table T001 and T880 does not have any time stamp
- Transport number is the way but it is very difficult to go through thousands of transport
Do let me know if there is any way.

Please try Evaluating the Change Logs (if not archived/deleted) using Transaction Code SCU3
Give the table name as T001 and select the option 'Tables' in the 'Evaluation for' section and give an appropriate time. You will then see the list containing Change Docs for this table.

Unable to open TM -- Error Code -43

Have been using TM 1.0 for 3 days, suddenly unable to open app. Getting msg "The operation could not be completed. An unexpected error occurred (error code -43)." Re-installed OSX to 10.5.1 and ran "repair disk permissions" from Disk Utility. Any ideas? What is error code -43? I thought error codes went out with OS9.... Thanks for your help.

Was able to startup TM again my pressing the Control key while clicking the TM app icon. A pop-up menu appeared from which TM Preferences was selected. It appears that error code -43 is akin to a external HD that is not mounted. All is well again

Safari gone wonky

I have a chat room that I used to be able to click on to links by others. I never could copy and paste myself. Now I can't even click links.
So, I tried to reload Safari. I get a message stating:
You cannot install Safari on this volume. This update requires Mac OS X 10.5.2 or newer.
Only thing is, I have 10.5.5 so I shouldn't be getting this message.
So I reloaded 10.5.5 and that didn't work either.
I am out of ideas. Any suggestions?

Right. I didn't delete anything. I just moved Safari to the trash as sort of a holding position. But I didn't empty it. After trying to reload Safari, which didn't work, and the system, which did load but didn't change anything, I pulled Safari out of the trash and put it back in the application folder and so on...
Then I loaded Firefox. It works. It's a little too PC for my taste, but it works.
Thanks for the advice. I will try loading Safari from the disc.
By the way. I regularly fix the permissions. That was the first thing I tried. I am still baffled about why Safari went wonky on me. It worked for a while after I loaded the 10.5.5 update so I doubt if the problem is there.
Just so you know, I also use Camino. But in a Parachat chat room it's worse than Safari. Apple really should do something about running the latest Java updates that are available to PC users. It's almost the only complaint I have about the OS on this computer.

Destiny $50 code invalid

I got the $50 code, went to redeem and it says used or invalid. I haven't used it, I think it shows used because my order was cancelled. How do I get a replacement code or the existing one reactivated? Thank you.

I can't connect or print wireless

I have the hp photosmart c4780 and I used the USB wire to connect it to my computer after installing the software off the internet as I lost the software it originally came with. So with that being said, on my little Eee asus netbook windows 7 I can print with the printer when it's connected via USB only! Also I use my printer mainly for printing coupons or documents, and if anyone's familiar with <a href="http://www.coupons.com" target="_blank">www.coupons.com</a> then you'll know they have an app for most all tablets and smart phones and so I downloaded it on both my ipad 2nd generation and my iPad mini, and I was able to print coupons wirelessly via the coupons app only, not via the <a href="http://www.coupons.com" target="_blank">www.coupons.com</a> through my safari browser. So I'm just not sure why I can't get it to connect wirelessly, when I went through the installation and set up process I went through the option of switching to wireless rather than USB and I thought it went smoothly but any other way I try to print from my computers or iPads it will say that the printer isn't discovered. I've also made an account with th hp connect, I've got the eprint hp app on both iPads and I'm having no luck! Also, my printer is just now I'm noticing also, offline i dont know how that happened, but when I printed the wireless network test report along the top it's saying that " MAC ADDRESS FILTERING MAY BE ENABLED ON YOUR WIRELESS ROUTER, THIS CANT PREVENT YOUR PRINTER FRIM CONNECTING TO YOUR WIRELESS NETOWRK DURING SETUP. IF YOU DO HAVE MAC ADDRESS FILTERING ENABLED AND WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT ENABLED YOU MUST ADD THE MAC ADDRESS OF YOUR PRINTER TO THE LIST OF PERMITTED DECICES FOR YOUR WIRELESS ROUTER BEFORE CONTINUING. THE MAC ADDRESS FOR YOUR PRINTER CAN BE FOUND ON THIS TEST REPORT.***" And I can see below on the print out where my MAC address is, however this isn't helpful because I don't know what MAC address filtering means nor if it's bad or good, or how I can change it accordingly. And in the diagnostics summary below it says NO FILTERING: FAIL I'm unsure as to what that means? So if anyone can help me I'd so greatly appreciate it, I also tried to find that claim code that I was supposed to be able to find when i do the print out on my printer and I can't see it on the test report or the configuration page. So, so far I've just reset the printer itself to default settings. And from here...well...as you can see.. I NEED HELP!?!? Please and thank you!

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I think that the root issue you are experiencing is the printer is not connected to your wireless network, and as a result you are running into several issues.
wikiHow’s How to Find the MAC Address of Your Computer has a nice and non-techie description of what a MAC address is and how to find it. By turning on the MAC filtering for your router, is a way of telling your router that only the devices with an approved MAC address will be allowed to connect to your network.
Most customers with home wireless networks don’t use this feature, as it can take more time to maintain than a person would like to give. It requires that you add/maintain the MAC address of any device that will be connecting your to network, including, but not limited to, iPads, tablets, Smartphones, iPhones, computers, laptops, etc.
Please start by turning the router off. If your router doesn’t have an on/off switch, please disconnect the power cord. After waiting a full 60 seconds please turn the power back on (or plug the power cord back in). Hopefully the network test report will give us a pass on No Filtering.
If MAC filtering is turned on (I suspect it is on) and you don’t want to use this feature, please contact the manufacturer of your router on how to turn this off. I do think this is the root of your connectivity issues.
Once you have confirmed that MAC filtering is off we should be able to get everything working wirelessly by following the information below.
Let’s start with your Windows 7 laptop. I’ve included the How Do I Find the Best Windows 7 or Windows 8 Driver for My Printer? document. It will walk you through downloading HP’s Printer Install Wizard. This will also help you connect the printer to your wireless network while ensuring you have the right driver for your printer.
Once you’re printing from your laptop wirelessly, please try test printing something from the notes app on your iPad. If your router supports Bonjour, the communication method for Apple’s AirPrint feature, you should have no problems printing. If you are unsure, I have included a post by Shirlzz1 that will walk you through downloading an app to check.
As for printing from coupons.com using the Safari browser on your iPad it comes down that the iPad is considered a mobile device requiring the app as an interface.
I think I’ve addressed everything that is plaguing you. If I haven’t please let me know. In addition, if anything goes askew while doing the above, please let me know at which step things went wonky and the contents of any error messages and where they were displayed.

Flash9 Error 1904 Insoluble Problem

Each time I try to install Flash, I receive the following
error message:
Product: Adobe Flash Player 9 ActiveX -- Error 1904.Module
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9d.ocx failed to register.
HRESULT -2147220473. Contact your support personnel.
My permissions are exactly as they should be, but I ran
subinacl.exe anyway. I have uninstalled and reinstalled countless
times--several times with my firewall and virus scanner turned
off--and I have also registered the .ocx file manually
(successfully, according to the message I received). I have used
ERUNT to restore my registry to a date before Flash went wonky (a
little more than a week ago).
I have tried several different installer links. Some of them
refuse to work because they say there is a newer version available.
When I check IE7's add-ons, there is no Active-X control for
me to enable.
I'm at the end of my rope with this, so I hope there will be
a fix for it soon.

I am a network administrator on my organisations domain. We
recently had the 1904 error on a number but not all our machines
after rolling out the flash9 active x msi from Adobe.
After many fustrating hours of research and testing. I looked
at adobe articals about permissions on the Shockwave.Shockwave
registry keys and registering flash9.ocx with regsvr32.exe and had
very little luck.
In the end I created .reg file containing certain keys and
sub keys (the subkeys is partly what fixed it for me) from a
working machine. And copied the full contence from the
c:\winodws\system32\macromed\Flash from the working machine to a
usb drive.
I then deleted the contence of the
c:\winodws\system32\macromed\Flash on the machine with the error
and replace them with the copy I took from the good machine.
I then ran the .reg file I created.
This fixed all our machines.
I have attached a copy of the .reg code below, First backup
the registry and then if you copy the text below in to a txt file
and then rename it to be .reg, and double click it to load in it
into the registry.
Then if you go to a web page that uses flash such as a
youtube video it will all work fine.

Error while deleting master data (Message no. RSDMD118)

Dear all,
I am performing a test to create and delete new Company Codes in Consolidation Workbench.
Creation of new Company Codes went on successfully but deleting them give me the following error message upon saving:
Error while deleting master data
Message no. RSDMD118
Since they are new Company Codes, they have not been used and stored in any BW cubes. Any idea on why BCS prevents me from deleting them?
Appreciate assistance to troubleshoot and resolve this error.

I am sure those are not the case here as I deleted the Company immediately after creating it.
Just to make sure, I performed "Where-Used List" again and BCS confirmed that it is not being used anywhere:
Use of: Company UAT1 UAT Company 1
Number of Uses Found: 0
However, the same error message was displayed again after I tried to delete the Company and save the configuration. Still can't find any solid reason behind this.
