Codepage coverting error utf-8 from System codepage to iso-8859-1 (PI 7.1)

Hello Experts,
In our Prcess, we receive an Idoc from an IS-U system and then we send this Idoc with some Header-Information via http-Adapter to a Seeburger System.
In the outbound communication Channel we have a XI Payload manipulation with xml-Code iso-8859-1.
We get the Error: Codepage coverting error utf-8 from System codepage to iso-8859-1, and only for this Idoc, where othe similar Idocs runs correctly.
Is it possible, that the Idoc contains non-utf-8 chars so the error occurs?
PS: another XI in our landscape uses a http-Channel with the same configuration in a similar process, an it work, so guess the Problem is not in the communication channel.

A would rather think, that there could be any non-iso-8859-1 character be in the IDoc. For example an czech or polish character.

The channel throws "Codepage Conversionerror UTF-8 from System-Codepage to Codepage iso-8859-1".

In java strings are always unicode i.e. utf16. Its the byte arrays that are encoded. So use the following codeString iso,utf,temp = "�� ";

I'm trying to write some code that checks whether an InputStream contains only characters with a given encoding. I'm using java.nio for that. For tests, I downloaded some character set examples from http://www.columbia.edu/kermit/csettables.html
When creating the CharsetDecoder, I want to get all errors:

As a suggestion....create a complete example demonstrating the problem. It shouldn't have channel in it since that wouldn't appear to be the problem (decoding is.) You should create the byte array in the example code - populate it with the byte sequence that you think should work. And your code should then demonstrate that it doesn't. Then post that.

Changing from 8859_1 charset to iso-8859-1

With Netscape Enterprise 4.1 the default charset seems to be 8859_1. How to change the default charset to iso-8859-1.

You also need to look at what else you're running in apache.
One of the major changes (and the reason why 1.3 is still so common) is that any apache modules you use will need to be updated, too. That appears to be part of the reason why Apple still set 1.3 as the default.
Also, once you go to 2.x you won't be able to use Server Admin to manage your server. This may or may not be a problem for you, but it's something to bear in mind.

HTTP-Receiver: Code page conversion error from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1

Hello experts,
In one of our interfaces we are using the payload manipulation of the HTTP receiver channel to change the payload code page from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1. And from time to time we are facing the following error:
u201CCode page conversion error UTF-8 from system code page to code page ISO-8859-1u201D
Iu2019m quite sure that this error occurs because of non-ISO-8859-1 characters in the processed message. And here comes my question:
Is it possible to change the error behaviour of the code page converter, so that the error will be ignored?
Perhaps the converter could replace the disruptive character with e.g. u201C#u201D?

Convert XML-String from Codepage utf-16 to ISO-8859-1

Hi to all experts,
our system is now unicode with codepage 4102 (UTF-16) and we do an Simple Transformation for creating an XML-String.
before UniCode : xml_data = <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>#<transactionRequest userID=" .......
now with UniCode : xml_data = <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>#<transactionRequest userID=".......
The xml_data transfered to an external Sytem via HTTPS- Communication direct from ABAP.
The external Sytem send an Error Request:

Did you get an answer for this question? We have same requirement to create XML file in ISO-8859-1 format with Attributes is set to "Y" and CDATA is being used for data.

I am getting error " TRANSLATE... CODEPAGE/NUMBER FORMAT is not allowed" while doing UCCHECK activity.
Existing code is
DATA: BEGIN OF BIN_TAB OCCURS 500,
        SATZ(1500) TYPE C,
      END OF BIN_TAB.
   translate bin_tab from code page '1100'.
I am getting this error for above statement.
Class CL_ABAP_CONV_IN_CE should be used but not sure about the syntax.
Please suggest how to resolve it ?

Source system (R/3) error while testing from BW

Hi,
We are trying to test the source system from BW. We have defined LOGICAL system in R/3 as well as in BW. We have also checked in sm59 for RFC tests and found to be successful in R/3 side as well as BW side. Bur when we tried to activate the R/3 source system in BW side,w e are getting the following errors. Please help urgently.
1.The following errors occured in source system - RSAR -374
2.Result of the destination check: Timed out - RSAR -375.

I configure integration SAP portal and SAP BW system. All system requirements are complied.
Environment
SAP Business Objects 4.0
SAP BW 7.31
1.     I configure SSSO between SAP BW and SAP Business Objects Enterprise 4.0
2.     Next I setting integration SAP PORTAL with SAP BW system
3.     I download certificate from portal. Select Certificates and key (http://sapserver:port/nwa) – See scren_
4.     In next window selected Ticketkeystore and Saplogonticketpair-cert( near part window form)
5. Select Export entry button and binary format file certificate for download. Press download.
6.     Save certificate file in local PC folder
In next step need export certificate file to SAP system. Sequence of step:
1.       Run STRUSTSS02 transaction .
2.       Chose certificate ->import.
3.       Select downloaded certificate file
4.       Select Add to certificate list button and Add to ACL button
5.       Inter System ID and Client(000)
6.       In next I download iview sap business objects template into sap portal: System administration->transport->Import. And select and download sap business Objects iview template in .epa format into sap portal.
7.       Result – downloaded iview.
8.       In next step I create system from template. System administration->system landscape.
9. In next step I input parameters for my system in Connector category, Sap business objects and user management categories: See screen _2
10.   When I created the system and test the connection error occurred: See screen_3
This issue is important enough. I would be grateful for opinions and ideas. Thanks in advance.

When i change the sm59 connection not to use ssl. it give me a pop up screen . and asks me to enter user and password...
He then give me a private key file .. i.e a .pfx file but not sure how to load this in strust. I tried to convert in useign sapgenpse. but it fails with teh ffg error

403 Error during communication with System Landscape Directory from RWB

Hi,
I've got a new install of PI (XI 7.0) SPS 10 and am getting an error whenever I try to access the SLD from RWB or Integration Builder. The SLD is running on the same server as XI.
I've been through the various config guides (strangely there doesnt seem to be one specifically for PI/XI 7.0), to configure RFC destinations, checked users are not locked etc.
I'm thinking it's probably a VA / Authorisations issue, but could use some ideas!

Message failing in SXMB_moni----Error while reading from the secure store

The scenario is as below
A file is picked up from a folder and processed to enrich it.This enriched file is then written back in a different folder.
The message is failing in sxmb_moni while trying to write the file in the folder.
The PI system is a system copy of another system and few of the configuration objects are transported through a tpz file to this PI system.The file receiver channel used to write this file is also transported through this tpz file.
Below is the error seen in moni.:
