Color Dipper not reading footage

So when I try to use secondary color correction or the color change effect the color dipper won't pick up the colors off the footage. When I roll over the footage it just remains black, and therefore making these effects almost useless. I can pick out a color using the color picker, but its really hard to match or add colors to that. So I am wondering if anyone else has this problem. I am running prmiere 5.5.1
I am working with MTS files, shot in 60p with the Sony HXR-NX70U. Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this would be awesome.

Most forms (99% or more) are created for simple text input, where you cannot change anything.
The creator of the form could allow Rich Text input (which allows you to change font, text size, color, etc.), but frankly I have never seen such a form, and I wouldn't know how they look. But I'm sure they would show some kind of controls to alter the text appearance.

I have downloaded footage from a Sony Z1 on to a hard drive which I've put on to my Mac Book Pro and it will not read in iMovie. Can somebody help me?

I shot three video clips on a Sony Z1 camera. As I only had the cable to plug it in to my PC, I uploaded the footage on to the PC and then copied it on to my hard drive. I then put the hard drive into my MacBook Pro so that I could continue to edit it on there, however it will not read the files. The audio is WAV and the video footage has come up as M2V files. I need to be able to import it in to iMovie to edit however it is not letting me do so.
Is it because they are M2V's or do I need to upload the footage directly on to the MacBook and not on to a PC first?
If anyone could help, it would be massively appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Flattening annotations (comments) changes highlight color in Acrobat, but not Reader

I have a pdf document with multiple comments consisting of sentences highlighted with different colors. The colors are the default, bright colors in the default commenting "Highlighter Tool Properties" palette. When I flatten with either Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 or X (Tools - Print Production - Preflight - flatten annotations and form fields) the colors of the highlights change from the normal 'bright' colors to dull 'pantone'-like colors. Interestingly, if I view the flattened file with Reader, the colors are fine (back to the bright colors), but when viewing with Acrobat Pro they are the dull pantone colors. It is as if there is a 'flag' in the file telling Acrobat (but not Reader) to change the displayed highlight colors.
I'm using Mac OS X 10.9.5
Does anyone know how I might change this so that the highlight colors do not change when flattening?

Well, I was able to answer my own question. You have to go into "Flattener Preview" and change "Color Space" from the default "none" to something else, in my case, "Device RGB". Also, make sure to set page range.

Opening Error: Colors could not be properly read

After HD failure, replacement, and HD contents recovery, other iLife applications seem to function correctly, but iWeb (version 1.1.2) opens existing site with some images absent, some incorrect colors, and the following message:
"The following errors occurred while trying to open this document: One or more colors could not be properly read, and may not display correctly on some systems."
This is obviously true, but no further advice is provided.
The website displays correctly as previously published on .Mac, and on a folder restored from the original HD.
Themes display correctly in the chooser, and new pages created from the same theme that does not display correctly in the existing site, display as they should.
I think the problem is with Domain.sites itself, therefore reinstalling iWeb will have no impact (except to replace Domain.sites with a "blank").
Is there a way to use the published sites to recreate a correct Domain.sites file?

What you can do however is open the original Domain site, highlight the contents of one page and copy it. Close that old Domain site, open the new Domain site - Paste the contents. Repeat until you've found the culprit file(s)

I am legally-blind and deaf, I bought ipad3 last month, I setup enabled White & Black and Triple-click is Black/White, I make and save solid black.jpg and solid white.jpg in ipad3, click wallpaper done... start Lock see black (good) then home, i see icon with white text and black background, good, I click setting, mail, message are white background, I can't read I press triple-click switch black, I see it when finish press Home back white background, I press triple-click back black, I am not happy lot of triple-click, I am worries button will be broke soon.. but I got idea change white.jpg, switch to black background, i press lock good, then home is bad, black background is ok but I not read white text on icon, it is blank, I press seeting, mail, message are good no need triple-click but I need how fix change color on label text label ?
I search website I type "change label text icon", I saw many had it but it is jailbreak, I don't want it, because void of warranty

I am pretty sure that I understand what you are trying to do, but I do not know of any way that you can change the color of the text on the app icons. Your only options are black on white - or the standard white text labels.
As you have discovered, there is no way to change how the iOS works without modification of the device and you know that voids the warranty and it could cause even more problems down the road.
I'm sorry, but I think that you will have to take a chance on the triple clicks. The iPad does come with a one year warranty and Apple has built the Accessibility feature into the iPad knowing that the triple click will be used by people such as yourself. I would not hesitate to use the feature.

Apply color correction to all footage by changing one color?

Hello everybody,
I have two versions of the same footage which I want to synchronize and make one video out of them. By masking, I've put one on top of the other and I'm synching the footage, but the colors are slightly different in the bottom one (a bit brighter). I've tried to correct it using several filters, but even though I get some really good results changing the values (I'm using Brightness and Contrast right now, but I've also tried Color Correction, HLS, Hue/Saturation...) they're not as good as I'd like.
In several moments, for example, the sky appears, in both layers at the same time. Is there any way I can make the bottom layer correct the sky color into exactly the one in the top layer, so the changes I make in the HLS of that color apply to all footage? That way the color changes would be perfect.
Maybe this is easy to do, but I'm a beginner at After Effects so I don't really know how to do it. Online tutorials don't seem to help much either.

Go to your hard drive, enter library, go into users, and go into launch agents and delete the thing above. Empty the trash and restart.

Google calendar event color tags not showing up in IPhone iCal - any fixes?

I have an iPhone 4 (iOS 5.1.1) and am trying to sync my google calendar to the built in iCal app. The events sync both ways, but the color tags I assign to each event does not sync. It used to bother me that the only way to color code events in google calendar was to create multiple calendars, but it seems as though google calendar has added the ability to change the color for each event so I'm going back to google calendar. For example, my classes are in blue, exams are in pink, meetings are turquoise, etc.
I synced my google calendar to the iPhone iCal (via settings, turned on calendar tab listed under gmail account that I use for my google calendar), and all the events sync correctly (can add events on google calendar or iPhone and it syncs), but the colors do not sync. When I view my iPhone iCal all the events from my google calendar are the same color, even if they have different color tags when viewed online. Also, when I add an event on the iPhone iCal, the event syncs to the google calendar but there is no option to change the color tag for the event and it shows up as the default grey color when viewed online.
Is there a way to fix this? Or is this something that google and apple have not resolved?
I would prefer not to use a third party app, but I might consider it if there is no other fix. Thanks!

Hello lulu and welcome to the Palm forums.
I don't know of a way to make the color codes from iCal sync with the color codes on the Palm Z22. The Missing Sync for Palm OS has more features than Palm Desktop, but I also don't believe it will sync the category color codes.

Hp color laserjet cp1518ni color does not align???

I recently posted at the beginning of the month saying I was having problems with my hp color laserjet cp1518ni and the whole left side printing blurry. After cleaning the rollers, running it through the cleaning mode, restoring the defaults and calibrating the colors, it miraculously worked.
But less than a month into the fix and I am once again having problems. I have done all of the following (I have windows vista 64bit):
*updated firmware and confirmed that it is updated to most current version 20120110
*restarted computer
*turned off printer - more than once
*disconnected printer - more than once
*restored defaults - more than once
*calibrated color - more than once
*run it through the cleaning mode - more than once
I have taken each toner cartridge out and carefully placed them back in again making sure they were firmly in place.
My husband has tried connecting it to his computer and printing it, but has gotten the same results.
I was trying to print out a job when I noticed that the color was horribly off from what was on my computer screen. Since I was 5 prints away from needing to change the cyan cartridge, I changed it, thinking this would fix the color. Not only did it not fix the color, but that's when the alignment problems started happening. I am so completely frustrated. It is ridiculous to have this kind of problems with a printer every time you try to print and I've spent the last 3 hours fighting with it.
I am absolutely, without a doubt, certain it is the printer. I don't know what it is, with the printer, so if anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it. I just opened a 3 pack of toner (to put the cyan in) so now not only can I not use the printer, but I am out money for the other 2 toners.
The reason I know it is the printer, is because I finally I printed the same exact piece I had been printing on the hp color laserjet cp1518ni that looked horrible in both color and color alignment, onto a Canon MG6120 inkjet. The color was exactly as it appeared on my computer screen and there were no problems with misalignment. I just prefer to do my jobs on laserjet printing, so this is frustrating to have a large, expensive doorstop in my computer room.

I have done a search on my computer for:
HP Color LaserJet CP1510 Series ToolboxFX and it does not come up. I am able to do everything through the printer itself (run the cleaning mode, etc), but as far as finding anything on my computer under a folder, there doesn't appear to be anything.
I'd like to be able to print out these pages so that I can see which colors are giving me problems. Is there a way to do that from the printer?

Encoding Failed- Could Not Read from the Source

I have a quickly approaching deadline for the short film I am working on, and it would be greatly appreciated if anyone knew anything of my predicament. Everytime I try to export anything from Premiere Pro (CS4 of course), when I start the queue it says "Could Not Read from the Source. Please check if it has been moved or deleted." The files, of course, have not been moved or deleted, and the raw footage for the film is in the same place as everything else. All my scratch disks are set to the same folder, etc. I don't understand, and it won't even let me export to my camera. It says it does, but when I check my camera, it's nothing but blank tape. Any (quick) help would be very much appreciated!

I have been using file names with spaces and it has been working fine. As stated in reply to Jones, uninstall and reinstall of Premiere Pro CS4 has helped to get rid of this error.
also i did not use Dynamic link, but was trying to create MPEG file using Media Encoder and then import it in Encore.
your suggestion for H264 seems good and will try it.
x264 Pro is for CS5 and above versions, so it seems i can not use it and have to manage with Adobe Media Encoder's default. Hope i will not have any major technical issues.

1) i have 4 hours of Full HD footage and made 1080i MPEG2 files of 30mbps to fit in 2 seperate Bluray Disks.
2) now i plan to put all in one Single Bluray Disk by reducing MPEG2 file average data rate to 15mbps. will that work or is there any limitation of time in Bluray Disk.
3) Will it be ok to create H264 files at 30mbps [as you mentioned H264 reduces file size to half of MPEG] and still be able to fit 4 hours footage in one BR Disk ?
4) even though i specify Min 10 Target 25 Max 30 data rate for MPEG files creation, it creats file at data rate of 30 mbps, can you explain why it is happening as i thought my target rate should be 25 mbps and not the maximum rate specified.

my source file is .mov 1920 x 1080i 29.97 fps from Canon 6D. first i tried to create progressive file in Encoder but while imported in Encore realised at 29.97 fps, it allows only interlaced file and had to transcode back to interlaced. so i stick to interlaced file.
Canon 6D also allows me to shoot in 24fps [motion movie] which Encore can handle as progressive file for authoring. What are the pro and cons of shooting in 24fps, if you can suggest.

FCE not capturing footage

I am using FCE 3.5.1 on a G5 Dual Processor using OX 10.4.10. I can not capture video to FCE from my two Sony DV cameras. FX1 and TRV 22. This just started after years of no problems. I have pulled preferences and reinstalled FCE several times. But the problem continues.
I can operate the camera, but it acts as though there is no time code on the tape. The time code on the tape is fine as I have captured this footage on other systems.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried the Quicktime Receipts removal, but did not solve the problem. Only had one Quicktime pkg listed. It did have numbers. While I was there I pulled the FCE HS pkgs as well with numbers.
FCE HD does recogizine the cameras and will control it from Capture, but does not capture footage correctly. With clips it pays no attention to cues in and out. In "now" it will freeze the picture while continuing to record the sound.

Colors in Adobe Reader 9.3.3

I have a problem with colors in Adobe Reader 9.3.3 (I haven't checked earlier versions) on Win XP when displaying certain PDFs like the one in this link

The colors on page 3 are off. This same problem does not occur with other PDF readers: Evince, Foxit and SumatraPDF. I think this is a bug and would like Adobe to investigate it.
I am generating PDF files using open source toolkit ReportLab.

Can I change background color in notes? to black with white font? If not, why doesn't Apple already make this an option?

I have the same issue. This is ridiculous. Yellow on a white background? Some of my notes are all black and white however if I have an email address or series of numbers, phone, account etc those are in yellow. But not always..
