Where can I file a complaint?

Hi all,
I have been in contact with Adobe Tech Support since the beginning of November when I started receiving a message "licensing stopped working." I spent hours and hours calling tech support, with no solution. Often times my calls were hung up in transition. More than a few times, I was promised a call back "in ten minutes," or "in two hours," but calls were either never returned, or returned another day when I was at work (even though I told them I would not be available on that day). I tried all remedies they suggested, but they did not solve the problem. Finally they told me to send them a log file, which I did in the end of November. They said they would call me back in a few hours -- and it has been almost two months. I requested the result of log analysis a few times via Portal, but no reply. Meanwhile, I was unable to use my CS3 (I was using CS4 trial version for a while, but I was not even able to use it after performing one 'remedy' a tech support suggested). Yesterday I suddenly received a message from Adobe saying "Window 64 bit is not supported for CS3," when my OS is 32 bit.
I am extremely frustrated with this situation and would like to file a formal complaint against Adobe. I asked a tech support rep to whom I can file a complaint, but he was not able to help. Could anyone suggest where I can file a formal complaint (either to Adobe management or the third party consumer adovocate organization)? Your advice would be appreciated.

  • Who holds Verizon employees and management accountable and where can I file a complaint.

I feel that writing this letter is a waste of time, but I feel the way customer service reps (not all) as well as their managers (again not all) need to held accountable for lies and disrespectful business practices they place on loyal customers.  This is a long and confusing issue, but in as short as possible, I have been a loyal Verizon Wireless customer for several years. This past September 2014, I along with about 200 other loyal customers waited for several hours in anticipation of the IPhone 6 being released outside of a big box Verizon Store located at 7790 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236, phone number (513) 984-9939. Because of my early arrival, I was number two in line and number two to enter the store once opened.  At approximately 7:30 a.m., Verizon Store employees and an unknown woman claiming to be a manager came from the store with flyers in hand and explained the purchase process.  She advised customers were able to buy a maximum of three phones, but could only buy one phone at retail price without contract.  I informed the manager that I was not eligible for an upgrade at the time, as my wife and I still had about a year of service left on my current contract.  At that time I was told “too bad, there are a lot of customers here for the same thing, and if you want the iPhones you will have to add two lines of service.”  I had about $2000.00 in my hand willing to pay full price for phones and have them swapped out for my current devices and was told “too bad.”  Well after waiting in line for the amount of time I had, I pretty much had no other choice, entered the store, and paid for two new lines of service in order to get two IPhone 6 plus devices with 128 gb of storage.
Immediate upon returning home, I contacted Verizon customer service (phone call one 9/19/14) and requested to terminate both lines, and move the IPhone 6 plus phones to my original lines.  Upon explaining the situation to the customer service rep, he was confused as to why I was told I had to open two new lines, but complied.  Later in the night, I had realized service was still not activated on the lines after switching the IPhone 6 plus to my original numbers and call customer service again (call two 9/19/14).  After explaining the whole situation over again, I was again informed that the store was wrong and should not have made me add two new lines.  This customer service rep informed me of the cancellation fees ($350.00 per line x 2), which I told her I was aware, and had planned to pay $950.00 per phone originally so had no problem paying the termination fee.  The customer service rep again told me that all had been completed and the lines would be turned off.
On Saturday September 20, 2014, I signed on to my Verizon wireless.com account and saw that I still had two lines (previously told were shut off) still active on my account, with no phones associated with the numbers.  Again, upon contacting customer service (call 3 9/20/2014) I had to explain the entire situation all over.  At that time I was advised by the customer service rep, that because I was not returning the phones and just wished to pay the termination fees, that I would need to wait until after 14 days of service to call in and cancel the lines, and also have to request a refund on the activation fees (should be waived if canceled within 72 hours of activation) and any service charges associated with having two lines with no physical phones actually being attached to them.  At this point I thanked the customer service rep and was informed that all notations to the account were visible in the account to anyone I spoke with.
Friday October 3, 2014, I again contacted Verizon customer service (call 4 10/3/2014) to cancel these lines.  Upon explaining the situation again to the customer service rep, I was informed the store I got the phones from (A VERIZON WIRELESS OWNED STORE) had lied to me in that I needed to add lines.  At this point, the female representative informed me the activation fees would be waived, along with any other fees, and the lines were cancelled.
Saturday October 4, 2014 I again logged onto my Verizon Wireless.com account and saw that the lines I was told had twice been removed, were still active and alive with no physical devices actually being associated with the lines of service.  AGAIN, calling customer service (call 5 10/4/2014) I spoke with a gentleman and expressed my frustrations as to being misinformed several times thus far.  At this point, the customer service rep, after keeping me on hold for about 45 minutes, returned to the phone and advised my that the lines were set for cancelation, but not until my next billing cycle, and that I would need to call in again once all service, activation, and whatever else charges were put on my account to have them removed.  During the conversation, (without me asking for a single thing at any point during the conversation except just to have the lines turned off and refund the fees) The customer service rep informed me that he was sorry and his manager was sorry for inconvenience that VERIZON had caused me, as a small toke of VERIZON’s appreciation, VERIZON would waive any and all fees associated with the two lines I was forced to add, to include any and all early termination fees.  Again, I never once asked for anything, but was offered by VERIZON employees and a VERIZON manager.  I was also informed that when I did call back in, the next customer service rep would see all of these offers in my account notations and would comply.
Tuesday October 7, 2014, I was able to view my bill and had observed the added charges associated with account activation, and lines of service.  At that point I again called Verizon customer service (Call 6, 10/7/2014) to have these charges removed.  Upon calling and AGAIN explaining the two weeks of hell VERIZON had caused me, I was again apologized to, and informed that the last customer service rep had notated everything as I had explained and was informed and exactly quoted by the representative from VERIZON “We are nothing without our integrity at VERIZON, and VERIZON told you we would waive all of these fees (as notated in my account) VERIZON will stand by our word.” At that point, I was told I would need to be placed on hold as the charges and fees were large (about $263.00 in service fees and $700.00 in early termination fees) it would take a while for the customer service rep to work with his manager to have these charges removed (and in the case of the ETFs, not post to the account at my next billing cycle).  After one hour of sitting on hold, I was again in contact with the customer service rep and told, he and his manager had put in for every single refund and credit, the VERIZON MANAGER had approved all, but one final approval was needed which may take a day or two.  AGAIN all of this is notated in the account as to offers and promises made by VERIZON wireless employees and managers, and again I had NEVER asked for a single penny refunded, but was offered.  I AGAIN was completely willing to pay for the phones and the ETFs without problem, but was again and again offered such refunds and credits by VERIZON employees.
Wednesday October 9, 2014, because of the continual misinformation I have been given by VERIZON employees, I contacted VERIZON customer service again (call 7, 10/9/2014) to check on the status of the credits and refunds.  At that time, I was informed, that many of the credits had been approved, but both ETF fees were denied and would only be refunded if I returned the devices.  As frustrated and confused as I was, I calmly explained every single thing that was offered to me again by VERIZON and was confused as to why a MANAGER for VERIZON would offer such things and then they would be denied.  The female customer service rep informed me that she was unfamiliar with the situation, would message the male customer service rep and or manager I spoke with on October 7, 2014 and have them reach out to me to explain. I was also told I would hear from them within a “few hours.”  This call was placed at about 9:00 a.m., and by 6:00 p.m. I had still not heard anything back from VERIZON.  At that time I again called VERIZON customer service (call 8, 10/9/2014) and spoke with another customer service rep.  Again for the 8th time explained the entire VERIZON lying situation, and was told that he (VERIZON representative) saw was I had been offered several times (refunds and credits) in the account notations and “too bad, VERIZON does not offer refunds or waivers of ETFs.”  At this point in the conversation, without completely cursing out the representative, I asked to speak with his supervisor and was turned over to another supervisor to speak with.  Upon speaking with the supervisor, I was informed (for the first time) that although VERIZON WIRELESS employees / MANAGERs had offered me refunds of ETFs, WHICH WAS DOCUMENTED NUMEROUS TIMES BY VERIZON in my account details, VERIZON simply could not waive these fees.  I again informed the manager that I didn’t care about the fees and was willing to pay, but I was tired of being LIED TO.  At that point in the conversation, I was again apologized to over and over again and as a token of apology from VERIZON, he a VERIZON MANAGER offered me a $70.00 bill credit in order to help with the ETFs.  Again, I never once asked for anything, but was offered time and time again from VERIZON EMPLOYEES and MANAGERS.  I thanked him for his offer and the call ended.
October 10, 2014 (AGAIN after repeatedly being lied to contacted VERIZON customer service to check on the status of my credits (call 9, 10/10/2014).  At that time, I spoke with a female representative and again explained the entire dilemma caused by VERIZON.  Again, I was apologized to countless times and was informed that a bill credit for $70.00 was pending as I was informed on the previous night by a VERIZON WIRELESS MANAGER, but she did not have access to see any further details.  After again apologizing countless times, the customer service representative seemed to be frustrated that I had been treated so negatively and informed me she was going to address this with her manager.  Upon her return to the line, and again without ever asking for one single thing, the VERIZON representative with her VERIZON MANAGER offered to meet “half way” with regards to the lowest ETF fees associated with my accounts and provide a $235.00 bill credit to help me and as a token of “sorry for VERIZON’s screw up and constant lies.”  I was also told I would be contacted by her manager within four hours at approximately or before 2:00 p.m.  5:00 p.m. on that same date, after not hearing anything back I again called VERIZON customer service (call 10, 10/10/2014) spoke with another customer service rep and told her the entire story over again.  I told the rep I wanted to speak with a manager right at that moment and was placed on the phone with a woman named Linda I believe. Linda informed me that the credit I was previously told I would be given earlier on that date was rejected and I would not be given it.  Again without completely going nuts, I calmly explained my complete disgust with VERIZON and the constant lies I was being told.  Again after countless apologies from another VERIZON MANAGER, she politely explained to me again the whole VERIZON cannot offer such refunds or credits associated with ETFs and was appalled that anyone in VERIZON would offer such things knowing they could not be given.  While working with her, she informed me the best solution to saving money was to cancel my original phone accounts and keep the two new lines that were pending deactivation, which would result in a $250.00 reduced ETF as opposed to a $700.00.  I agreed based on her advice without argument and was informed it may take a few hours for the new numbers to be placed back on the IPhones.  Two hours later, my phones still not turned on, I contacted VERIZON again.  I had also noted that every single bill credit previously applied to my account was back on the account.  At this point being as furious as I was, I again called VERIZON WIRELESS (call 11, 10/10/2014) demanded to speak with a MANAGER and was placed on hold.  After waiting for an hour on hold (no exaggeration) the customer service representative returned, apologized for everything including the wait time, and placed a male MANAGER on the phone. After explaining the entire three plus week VERIZON lying dilemma, which he was able to see in the account notes where every VERIZON employees acknowledged the misinformation of the previous employee I had spoke with, he again apologized and explained that I did not lose the bill credits, but because two lines had been canceled, the credits were instead applied to my unbilled ETFs, and they would appear on my next bill.  He also informed the SIM cards in my devices would still require more time to activate and that they should be turned on by 7:00 a.m. the next day.
While doing research on the SIM issue, I found that VERIZON policy was immediate and SIMs would not require rebooting time to come out of I believe it is called “AG” or “aging” status.  Again contacting VERIZON customer service (call 12, 10/10/2014) spoke with a female customer service agent, who actually looking back was the only one not to represent falsehoods or lies, informed me that because the SIM cards were previously associated with cancelled lines, I would need to go to a VERIZON wireless store and get two new SIM cards.  At this point in the day it was about 10:00 p.m. and all VERIZON stores were closed for the day.  With no choice in the matter, I agreed, and asked just out of curiosity, on the status of the$70.00 bill credit, I was promised on October 9, 2014.  At that point the rep informed me that she was able to see that the VERIZON MANAGER had notated and put a credit request in while I was speaking with him, but then immediately cancelled his own request and closed the situation immediately following the completion of our call.  I believe at this point in the entire situation I was so fed up this did not surprise me whatsoever so who could I complain to.  The very nice customer service representative again apologized for the continued lies I was told and offered me (not a bill credit), but a data GB credit for 12 months (again without me asking for anything).  In her own words “I do not want to promise you the world and then lie to you and get your hopes up thinking it will happen as has happened to you numerous times.”    I truly appreciated her honesty and her acknowledgement of the complete disgusting actions by previous VERIZON employees and MANAGERS.
The next day October 11, 2014 I drove with both IPhones to the Verizon big box store, explained the entire story to the employee, was apologized to for a 20 minutes, the manager came out and apologized as well, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!  The store is located at 2028 Florence Mall Rd, Space 1139, Florence, KY, (859) 746-3790 (Manager was great so was employee).  Never once offered me anything to make up for mistakes VERIZON had made in the past, which I really didn’t care because I never asked nor expected anything, but were truly grateful for my service (I am military and a Federal Law Enforcement Officer) and truly apologized for the actions of the Verizon Sore in Cincinnati Ohio (Again the manager stated the manager at the Cincinnati store lied), and especially apologized for all the lies and mis-information given to me over a three plus week time period.
Finally, October 15, 2014, I log in to my Verizon wireless account to view my features and reactivate VERIZON’s high definition calling features and see that since September 19, 2014 (original date I purchased the IPhones) I have been charged for Verizon Cloud storage.  I HAVE NEVER AGREED TO THESE SERVICES, NEVER REQUESTED THESE SERVICES, NEVER EVEN NEW THEY WERE THERE!!!!  Again had to call VERIZON for the fraud and lies they are perpetrating on a daily basis, COMPLAIN to another customer service rep (call 13 10/15/2014) in order to get the fraudulent charges removed from my bill.
    Conclusion
Here I sit writing this long complaint that no one in VERIZON will ever be held accountable for, no one will answer for the lies, mis-information, and disrespect employees and VERIZON MANAGERS perpetrate even though each lie was documented by VERIZON in account notations, and no one will be accountable for the lies the retail stores tell in order to increase their QUOTA to activate a certain amount of new lines per month.  I am utterly disgusted with the treatment I have received, will be requesting these notations (if they have not been deleted from my account), have documented each conversation, and recorded many of the conversations, with an end result of pretty much nothing.  VERIZON does not care about their customers and could probably care less about my terrible experience.  While there are several other cellular options available, they are all crooks and liars just as the perfect documented examples of VERIZON employees and management lying in this case.

        Giogetz,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am shocked by the many representatives that you had to speak to regarding your first request. This situation should have never gotten to be complicated and resulting in multiple calls from you. I apologize on behalf of those representatives for dropping the ball. I do agree that the representatives do need to be held accountable and I would like to submit feedback for those that you worked with. I have sent you a direct message. Please reply to the direct message so I can begin submitting feedback.

  • Hi, how/where can I file a complain against one premium re-seller here in the philippines?

hi, how/where can I file a complaint against one premium re-seller here in the philippines?
I was really ****** off on how they mishandled my warranty problem, they really wasted a lot of my time.

You can try calling the Phillipines support number:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
and asking to speak with someone on Customer Relations. If you haven't discussed the issue with the owner or manager of the reseller, though, start there first.
    Regards.

  • How can I file a complaint about an employee who has been messing with me on purpose (on trades)?

Hello. What's the best way to file a complaint against an employee who basically tried to ruin all game trades for me?
She just stands there in the customer service section doing nothing, she paces back and forth while customers are waiting, and she only takes calls to avoid talking to customers in person. She messes up trades on purpose.
I had a problem with a trade-in once with an awful supervisor and I called the Executive Resolution Team and the lady on the line just told me that they would call the store to hear the "other side" of the story. Honestly, I just told her what happened.
I went in there for a trade-in earlier that day and the woman taking my trade refused to enter my phone number for my bonus. She flat out refused it five or six times. It was insane. I explained to her how the system works and she called her supervisor. The supervisor acted like I was trying to steal the bonus even though I paid for the subscription. I politely explained to her how it works and I told her all the things that came with the subscription. I told her that all they need to do is input my number in the correct space and it should apply automatically.
She didn't believe me but she said that I could get a discount higher than what I asked to get as the bonus and I told her that it was actually lower because it was due to the base. She said it's fine and I said that I wasn't planning to buy anything that day. I just wanted to clear some space and get some credit in case there was a decent online sale later that week. She said that she could only give me a discount on something and I said, "Then can I get an Amazon card?" and she said something like "Go get it."
I came back with the card and she gives me a discount lower than what she said she would give me, but it's still a little bit higher than my bonus, so I let it go.
I went home and I had dinner and I got some more games ready and I went back to the store. A different lady was there and she got through most of my trade faster than the woman who kept refusing to enter my number for my bonus. She also couldn't get the bonus to work and she gave up on the first try so she calls a supervisor. I just wanted to sweep up all my games and run because I knew that she was calling the same supervisor, but I stood there because I didn't do anything wrong.
At this point, the woman who keeps giving me trouble in my recent trips there appears and like always, she's doing nothing. Anyway, let's just call this woman L. The supervisor is K. K walked back behind the counter and she says something like, "You again? No. You're not doing this again." I say, "Doing what?" I feel insulted but I tell her that all they need to do is enter my number in the correct place for Gamer's Club Unlocked. L heard this but she just turned around like she didn't hear anything and she's busy. She did this because she's the one who got the registration card for Gamer's Club Unlocked for me. Back when she did that, she mentioned that she was from the Gaming Department. She knew that I was right but she let the supervisor get aggressive with me.
K kept threatening to cancel my trade. I kept trying to reason with her. All she needed to do was her job. I told her how to figure it out. She kept repeating, "I will cancel it." I said, "cancel it." She canceled it and she had this egomaniac look on her face like, "I won."
I take my games and I look back and L is pacing back and forth like a beheaded chicken.
Anyway, for the Titanfall promo, I go into the store and I want to trade two copies of Call of Duty Ghosts and a copy of Thief. I got a copy of Ghosts from a friend who was busier than me. I was very busy those few days, so I went on the last day after classes. I have evening classes, so I got there near closing time. L rejected one of my copies of Ghosts and I asked her why and she said it was store policy even though it's not. She just cost me $11 or something because of the non-promo and promo difference.
She insisted on doing the Thief and Ghosts trades separatetly for no reason even though I insisted that she do them together so she will only need to enter GCU once and I only need to sign twice and I get one gift card. She's just acting like a jerk, so I said, "whatever". She asked me for my number for the GCU bonus after I tell her about it. It's input and it's in the right place. It was done on the first try. She finished the Ghosts trade and I signed everything but she wouldn't give me my gift card. She started the second trade and she asked me for my number and she input it. I signed the pad and as I'm signing the paper that should be correct because she asked me for my number, I notice that my bonus is missing and I strike out the signature. I told her and she already knew. She was just shocked that I struck out the signature. She said that there was no prompt for it. She obviously lied. She asked me for my number and she input it. I told her, "You should have said something." She just took a relaxed pose and she told me that it's already tendered so she can't undo it. I told her that it's not final until I sign the final paper. I knew that I was pushing my luck because it was the last day and it was near closing time, but I kept telling her that she could fix it.
She just wanted me to cave at that point, so she says that she will go ask a supervisor about it and she just walked into a room and she walked out in a few seconds saying the same thing. She just pretended to ask about it. She said that I can call the customer service line and get the bonus added. I signed it and she gave me the two cards. Oh, and when she left to "ask a supervisor", she took the card that was already legally mine with her. I had two cards, so I wanted to combine them. I took them to the register with a minute or two to spare and it turned out that they could not be combined because they were store credit cards and not gift cards, like it states on the website.
So I want to file a complaint against her now and I want to get the bonus she took from me. What's the best way to do that?

    Hello r555,
Thank you for being a My Best Buy member, and thank you for visiting our forum.  I am very sorry to hear that it has not always been easy for you to receive your Gamers Club Unlocked bonus when trading in games.  I'll be happy to talk to you about your experience.
I get the impression you are quite familiar with the trade-in process and how the bonus is applied, and it is disappointing to hear that a store associate wouldn't attempt to complete that process.  I will be sending you a private message so we can get some more specific information regarding which store you were at as well as the trade in question where you did not receive the bonus.  Please watch for a message from me shortly.
    Sincerely,

  • Adobe - the only company you can't file a complaint

Since it seems there is nowhere else to send a complaint I will post it here.
    1) Customer Service - Please hire people who are fully trained, speak clearly, and know what they are doing. I am tired of contacting adobe and listening to someone with broken English try to upsell a new product while being unable to answer the questions they are given.
    2) Support - Where is the decent support? I think it's just peachy I can get a live chat account with mujhal in 45 seconds, but if it then takes them 20 minutes to figure out a simple compatability problem it means nothing.
    3) Complaints - Is it so difficult to have an email or section for customer complaints. It could be a dead letter office for crying out loud but not having a place for customers to redress their grievances with the company only makes them more irate.
    4) Compatability - So you want everyone to update to new products. Good for you as a business, that's very smart. But how many customers are going to update their entire PC and OS just to run an adobe product? Wouldn't it be smart to also offer versions only applicable to older computers for purchase? Most people will end up buying those disks grey market from an auction site if they cannot get them through Adobe. Let's face it, $5 for Photoshop 7 or $10 for Acrobat 8 is better than no sale at all.
Come on Adobe, these are not complicated issues. Some of them would actually boost your bottom line. Take care of your customers and your potential customers and you'll be better off for it.

Here is the best place to file a complaint:
    Corporate headquarters
    Adobe Systems Incorporated
    345 Park Avenue
    San Jose, CA 95110-2704
An nicely written letter to the CEO will do wonders. Of course, 10,000 letters will have more pull.

  • Where can I file the log file generate by RMAN using EM 10g.

    Hi
I trying to find the log file that is generated using RMAN invoked from EM.
I can only see the file using Internet Explorer with the URL:
    em/console/database/rec/bkpMgmt?skey=257&type=oracle_database&target=isatprod.dla_dns.com&event=showJobDe
But I need to find where the log files are located in the filesystem because in other server I will not have EM with OC4J.
    Thanks.
    Juan.

When use OEM for 10g and choose the option / Maintance/Backup Reports
I can see information of all my backups, that includes:
Backup Name - Start Time - Time Taken - Status - Type- Output Devices - Input Size .....
When I click on Status field I can see the log file of this Backup.
(whe click in status one URL will be invoked ,something like below URL)
    http://10.5.0.86:1158/em/console/database/rec/bkpMgmt?skey=259&type=oracle_database&target=isatprod.dla_dns.com&event=showJobDet&objType=jobDtl
So the log file exist in any place for every backup made , the problem that I can not find it.
The log has approximately 500 lines, if you want I can send you by email the log.
Currently I don't have a repository catalog, I use a control file as repository.
I think that 500 lines of log is not include in any dynamic performance views.
    Thanks
    Juan

  • Where do I file a complaint about attempting to procure a replacement phone?

I was put through the wringer over the last few days trying to procure a replacement phone.
I purchased 4 each 4s Iphones approximately 2 years ago and also purchased geek squad warrenties for each.
    1) Best Buy sent me home to do it myself.  They no longer take care of replacing phones at the store.
    2) At home, I had trouble finding my account on line.  My account was not entered correctly under my wifes name and phone number as listed on the warrenty reciept.  It turns out, my name, not hers, was entered for the account, and furthermore, it was my sons phone however my son's phone was entered incorrectly (two digets switched)
    3) After an hour of being on hold, being dropped twice, and having trouble hearing through horrible phone connections with customer service, telling my story over and over, with help, I made it to the screen that requested my phones IMEI.  It didn't work.  More calls, more story telling, and more sketchy service determines that my phone's IMEI number was entered incorrectly in the database.  It was missing the last number.
    4) I then make it to the Verizon page and my information won't take.  I get locked out after 3 trys.  The geek squad service rep is trying to tell me to input the phone number that I needed replaced.  Wrong.  It needs to be my billing phone number.  She's locked out too.  So, se tells me she'll push it through and I can call a geek number when I recieve my phone, and they will manually activate it.
    5) My phone arrives.  More story telling, transfers, dropped connections, bad static peanuts music, and I finally reach a person who seems to know how to help me.  But he can't.  My bill is past due.  My son purchased a phone, and my automatic payment didn't cover it.  He can't help me.  He recommends that I call verizon directly.
    6) I call verizon.  They can't help me becuase Best buy sent me a "non verizon" phone.  It's not on their list.  "This happens some times with Best Buy"  Bring it to a store, talk to a manager, tell them the problem, and they should pull another phone off the shelf, a verizon phone, and activate it for me.
    7) I go to Best Buy, second time.  I'm actually going to upgrade three phones, but I need this one preplaced so I can recieve the 100 bucks.  I talked the manager.  He won't help.  He says there is nothing he can do.  I left, went to a verizon store, and ordered three new Iphones.
    8)  I get home and try again to activate my replacement phone.  I am dropped twice while on hold.  On the third call, a service rep that seems to know what he's doing calls verizon.  Verizon won't activate it.  The customer rep tells me to go back to the store again, talk to the manager, and tell him to verify the imei number, verify the phone is a best buy phone, call verizon, and get my phone activated, and if he doesn't, then get the managers name, store number, and best buy will begin an investigation.
    9) So I visit the bust buy store again.  The third time.  I talk to the manager.  He has no clue.  He calls over a sales rep to take care of it.  The sales rep has no problems.   He activates the phone.  Why didn't he do this the first time.
Over the years I have purchased many items from Best Buy, -several tv's, home and car stereos, phones, ipods, and various electronics.  Database input was horrible, -made it impossible for me to accomplish procuring the phone by myself on line.  Your phone connections with the geek sqaud were horrible.  Most of the geeks squad didn't know how to handle my problem and kept transferring me, and dropping me.  The manager at the store didn't care, had to threaten him with an investigation.  I spent 3 neights and at least 6 hours on my computer and phone dealing with the geek squad, and had to make three trips to the Best buy store.  It's not right.  I would like to file a complaint.

    Hello fiasco5-
Well, after reading through your post, your user name makes a lot more sense now.  The amount of hassles that you went through just to get your phone replaced through our Geek Squad Protection (GSP) plan is astounding and I applaud your patience in sticking with the process.
While we certainly offer the option for the customer to process their exchange by shipping their replacement phone from and to their home, the stores should not be telling you that this is your only option.  They are also capable of still helping your process these express replacements and in your case, it sounds as though their help would have been invaluable in avoiding many of the issues your experienced.  I absolutely apologize for the frustrations and amount of time you personally had to take to get this resolved.  I’m glad to hear that ultimately we did get the phone activated and ready for your use.
I’d like to make sure that we get the right store connected with this incident so that this can be reviewed by the store’s upper management, so I’m going to send you a private message to collect those details.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope in the upper right hand corner.
    Look for that message soon!

  • How can I file a complaint about customer service and billing

I Changed from AT&T as they didn't offer service where I now reside and ever since March of 2014 it takes about two to three calls to get my billing corrected. And then they have me on the phone for about two hours about the same issue. They have corrected my bill a fee times for their fault. Now I have come to the end of a long battle only to find out they want to charge me a disconnection fee that shouldn't have even taken place.  I sent back a phone before the 24 or 15 days that one has to send it back. A phone that was never used and that every month they seemed to remove those charges. Now after 6 months they finally said that I have to pay the disconnection fee. I am so disgusted with customer service as they always make it seem that there is no one else to speak to. This issue should have been resolved months ago and now they are trying to charge me a fee. When their Texas office received the phone I nt back and didnt put on the account when they received it. Yet every month they seem to resolve the issue and say sorry. I spoke to a supervisor who said I have reviewed your account inn two minutes and decided that he wasn't able to do anything with my account and that charge was valid but prior to this everyone would remove the charge and apologize for e inconvenience, now they just want me to pay the disconnection fee we'll it is not happening and I would like to speak to someone about this. I emailed John bianchi to see if they could help me get this corrected. My biggest frustration that I have not had with AT&T before was so many calls for something so simple and not be able to get answers or them just make it seem as they are always right. My bill since I started has not been consistent and that is frustrating. It is has become a joke in a my family about what my bill will be this month. I have a total of five lines with Verizon and if the opportunity came to go back to a different carrier I wouldn't hesitate to change over.

@BobbyS_VZW can this person look at this complaint. @bobbys_vzw Kathleen KBG

  • Where can you log a complaint/let the developers of Captivate 5 know there is an issue?

I was on a call with the help desk for 2 hours and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my project. When I publish it, it seems to publish fine but when I try to view it's just a black screen. I can't tell you everything they were having me do. Finally I decided to take 40 or so screens at a time and dump into a new project and publish. It worked, then another 40 pages, then another etc. and always published fine and I could view the project fine.
Then I copied in 6 pages of PPT and it was fine. My last page to copy in was the 1st page. I always have a graphic and then the title of the project come in as animated text. Publish and it's black. Took out the graphic, still black. Took out the text, everything was fine.
I created a number of different projects just a couple of pages long, had a regular screen, then a page with animimated text and black.
What I surmise is that you cannot have animimated text in a Captive 5 project. I want to let the developers know. I cannot tell you how frustrating this day has been, but at least I finally figured out why my 2 week long project wouldn't publish.

    Greetings,
    I'm having the same issue.
My Captivate project had one slide with animated text. First I tried deleting the animated text from the slide; then I deleted the entire slide from the project. Neither resolved the problem. I even tried removing all animation from the slides. Still no improvement.
My project was created in Captivate 4 and then converted to Captivate 5. Powerpoint was not used at all in the creation of the project. It uses extensive (but fairly basic) animation and video. Animated text is used on one slide only.
I am able to run the published file on another computer with Flash Player Version 10.1.85.3.
Like others, it is not an option for me to revert to a previous version since I cannot control the Flash Player version of my clients and learners.
I'm aware that Adobe is working on this issue and hope that they are able to resolve it VERY quickly. I have offered to share my Captivate file with Adobe if it would expedite problem resolution.
    Kind Regards,
    Sara

  • $800 lie- Where can I send this complaint?

I called two days before I left for Guatemala and the person on the phone told me that sending and receiving texts were free because something that deals with my phone being globally connected (I have a S4).  I asked him again to verify about the texting being free and he said yes.  So when in Guatemala we texted as we usually do because we were reassured by the representative that texting was free.  I get my bill in late March and it is $800 over the usual month.  I called that night and the representative on the phone said texting out of the country is never free, but they will listen to the phone call and call me in 1-2 days.  I called back 4 days later to say  I have not heard anything.  The representative I talked to said there was never a request but she would do it then.  It would take 5-7 business days and I would get called back. I called yesterday, which would have been the 7th business day and was told that no one has listened to the phone call. The person then told me the best thing to do is go to the website and email the complaint so it can be fixed.  I come on here and find out there is no email to send it to.  I just chatted with someone through Verizon's live chat and they said that I would have to call the global usage number.
I have been lied to, charged $800 because of that, and being continued to be lied to while not getting anything done. If we were not lied to about the texts being free, we would not have texted as we did, but we believed our representative. We have been a customer since 1995, prior to even being the Verizon we know now, and this just disgust and frustrates me.
What can I do? Who can I contact that will actually have the power to get something done?

        @VerizonCustomer626
I am terribly sorry for your experience!  You should have been able to enjoy your trip to Guatemala, while not having to worry about staying in touch with friends and family back home.  I want to ensure you are aware of your global options for the next time you travel abroad.
Although, depending on your current calling plan, we do offer unlimited international texting while in the U.S., when traveling outside of the U.S. you may incur global messaging charges.  I will include a link for global rate information here: http://vz.to/OFyn7n.  Thanks!

  • Where can I send a complaint email (not to the worthless BB online reps)?

I want to complain directly to someone in charge, not the worthless Best Buy online customer support.
A couple of weeks ago, I called my local Best Buy and inquired about the Galaxy Note 4 promo, specifically the Verizon version. I explained on the phone that I wanted to buy the Verizon Note 4 at full retail price (so as to not lose my unlimited data). I was assured that I could buy it full retail and take advantage of the $200 trade in promo.
The next day I went in to preorder it, and was at first told that I couldn't preorder at full price. After getting a manager, I was able to place my preorder, and again asked about the promo, again being told it would work at full retail.
A few days later, I read online that people were stating you couldn't qualify for the promo at full retail, so once again I called and asked, and was again told it would work.
A week ago, I went back with my trade in device to make sure it would be acceptable for the promo (it was), and I asked again. The store associate wasn't sure, so he called the mobile manager who told him that yes, I could use the $200 trade in promo if I was buying at full retail.
That's 4 different times I asked, and four different times I was assured it was OK. Then, on the day it released, I started reading online from people who were told they didn't qualify for the promo unless they entered a new contract or extended a current one, and that full retail phones didn't qualify. So I called again, and lo and behold, I was told that you couldn't do it and never could. I was told that all Best Buy promotions required a contract renewal or extension and always had. The mobile manager even told me that the terms and conditions stated that a contract renewal was required, and argued with me when I told him they didn't. I actually had to read them to him right off your website, after which he went to the site and read them himself. After admitting they didn't state that, he told me I was out of luck and that I wouldn't be getting the $200 trade in unless I renewed my contract. He was somewhaty rude about it at first, but got better as the call went on.
I am livid! Besides the fact that I was told over and over again that a contract wasn't required, NONE of the Best Buy terms printed anywhere (online or in the store) stated this was a requirement right up to the day the preorder period ended and the promo was taken down.
I want the email of someone at corporate HQ. I will never buy anything from this fraud of a company again, and I will disuade anyone I can from purchasing from Best Buy on any and every online forum I can find.

    Good afternoon tedkord,
Welcome to the forum! I’m sure you were very excited to get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 after its release. It is disheartening to hear that your experience with the $200 gift card trade-in promotion may have gone so awry due to some misinformation.
It is true that a 2-year agreement or installment billing agreement is required to qualify for this promotion. Our associates and agents should have all of the necessary information available to provide our customers with accurate and transparent information. It certainly seems like this may not have occurred during your interactions. I apologize if this is not what you were advised when you inquired on multiple occasions in regards to your desire to purchase the phone at full retail price.
I am sorry if this was not the news you were hoping for when you reached out to us on the forum. I hope that in the future you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better experience, and that this particular experience has not influenced your future shopping destination.
If you should have any questions, please let me know.
    Respectfully,

  • Where can I make a complaint? Chat support was rud...

Hi, I have an issue with the credit I purchased for my skype manager. My main account and business is registered in the UK, skype manager for some reason decided to set the default currency for my account in Euro, when it should have been GBP. When I purchased the credit I noticed that it was converted to Euro. So I went back to change my skype manager settings, and the credit amount was again converted using the exchange rate. Therefore without even making one phone call, my skype credit went from £10, to £8.111 I think this is absolutely disgraceful and when I contacted chat support the representative didn't even bother to try and find a resolution. After 10 mins of waiting for a response, gave me a cheeky response and exited. i would like to complain directly to Skype, but I have been unable to find a complaint process nor email to send it to. Any help would be appreciated. Tim
