Combine pricing in R/3 and CRM

Hello all,
Can we combine certain aspects of pricing in CRM (created through IPC) and pricing in R/3 for the same transaction and maintain it in CRM? I would be really interested in doing this if it improves the efficiency of the whole process.
Thanks in advance,
sha

Thanks for that; so, do you combine just the condition types created in crm and the ones downloaded from R/3 and execute the transaction of that assigned transaction type? Or is there any other hidden detail involved?
Thanks for your patience,
sha

  • Replication of Pricing Conditions between ECC and CRM

    Hi All
I have a couple of queries regarding replication of pricing information between ECC_CRM. We maintain the filter settings for Pricing procedures, access sequences and condition types in the object DNL_CUST_CND_PR, and accordingly these are replicated from ECC to CRM. My Questions:
    1. If some pricing procedure is created in CRM and this needs to be replicated to ECC, Can we achieve this?
    2. Would DELTA be active on these objects, in the sense if some changes are made to a pricing procedure in ECC, would they flow automatically to CRM?
    Thanks in advance
    Best Regards,
    Ram Sushanth

    Hi Chandra and Swaroop
Thanks a lot for your response.
From your replies, now, this is my understanding (Pl correct me if am wrong)
    1. Replication of Pricing Procedure from CRM to ECC is possible.
It would be of great help if you could elaborate on the procedure to do so or provide pointers for documentation in this regard.
Because, for replication from ECC to CRM, we perform an initial load on the object DNL_CND_CUST_PR or DNL_CUST_CNDALL.What is the object that we need to execute from replication from CRM to ECC?
    2. DELTA would be active only on condition records, but not on Condition types and Pricing Procedures and if any pricing procedure is changed in ECC, we would need to perform Initial Load again.
    Thanks in advance

  • Difference between R/3 pricing and CRM Pricing?

    Hi Gurus
What’s the Difference between R/3 pricing and CRM Pricing
    Thanks
    Mahi

    hi
differences are there in terms of
    Condition Processing
    Condition Technique
    Condition Maintenance
    Differences in Condition Processing
    1. The source condition record cannot be displayed in SAP CRM for technical reasons, when processing conditions in a transaction.
    2. Unlike SAP R/3, SAP CRM recognizes several pricing transactions. This enables you to compare pricing transactions. This can be useful after failed searches or price changes.
    3. The pricing type cannot be predefined when starting a new pricing transaction in SAP CRM.
    Differences in the Condition Technique
    1. Data determination at access level cannot be executed in SAP CRM.
    Differences in Condition Maintenance
    1. It is not possible in SAP CRM to display condition records for predefined selection data in condition lists.
    2. Mass copying of condition records is not possible in SAP CRM.
    3. Change documents are not available in SAP CRM.
    4. Archiving of pricing conditions is not possible in SAP CRM.
hope it will server ur purpose

  • How to extract values from pricing procedure for conditions in CRM Billing?

I have a number of conditions in the pricing procedure in CRM Billing that I would like to extract to SAP BW. How can this be done?
Is there a standard extractor for CRM Billing similar to the SD Billing extractor "Extraction of SD Billing Conditions" (2LIS_13_VDKON)?
If there is no standard extractor, is there another way to extract the conditions and the related values?
I am using the standard CRM Billing Extractor 0BEA_CRMB already, so maybe an append could solve my problem. How can this be done? In what CRM-tables can I find the values from pricing procedure for conditions in CRM Billing?

you may want to post that last question in a CRM forum... in ECC it would be table KONV

  • Diff pricing procedure for invoice and sales order?

can u please help me out in the following question
Is it possible to have different pricing procedure for sales order and invoice?

    hi venkat,
yes we can very well have different pricing procedures for order and invoice. for the combination of
    sales org + dist chan + div + <b>document pric proc</b> + cust pric proc --- > Pric Proc.
we determine the pric procedure. So, just have a different document pricing procedure for sales order document type and invoice document type. You can have a different pricing procedure with this change.
Hope it helps. Pl reward if useful.

  • EDI and CRM

I am looking for any information related to how EDI and CRM work together.  We are planning to send EDI orders into CRM and get invoices out of CRM to send back to EDI customers.  Is this the 'standard' way of doing things - or do orders typically go into the R3 system and get 'copied' over to CRM?  I'm looking for anyone that has been through this process before.  What are some of the obstacles, other than the absence of the EDI1 pricing condition? I'm having a difficult time finding any documentation on this so any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Laurie,
If you already have an existing EDI setup from R/3, then I would recommend simply uploading orders into CRM.  The question will become what is the purpose of the order data in CRM?  Are you planning to use CRM billing for all your sales related activities?
A normal scenario when CRM is added to an existing landscape is that orders in the new channel are routed to CRM and existing order interfaces still exist to R/3.  The orders if needed in CRM are setup to be uploaded from R/3 to CRM.  You will need to setup the initial download of orders from R/3 to CRM.  However the key part is based on the intent of usage of the R/3 order depends on how much sosphication you build into the linkage.
The other question to ask is what are you using CRM for?  Is it simply for EDI orders or are using it for other channels?  If you are simply using CRM for EDI orders, then it is probably a waste of effort to implement CRM.  If you are using CRM for more than EDI order processing, then you have some benefit of establishing the EDI connection with CRM.
I am sorry if I can't provide any further details, but if you can explain your current order processing landscape in a little more detail, I can try to point you in the correct direction.
    Good luck,
    Stephen

  • External access to Portal and CRM B2B

    Hi,
We have the sap portal and also CRM Java ..we have deployed the CRM Business package on the portal and used the portal IView to call the CRM java application. What is the best way to expose both the portal and CRM java to the external users?
I know we can achieve this using sap webdisatcher, but there are certain limitation in sap webdispatcher when dealing with two separte host name..so please let me know how expose both portal and crm to the external users.
    Thanks

First of all you need to have your network infrastructure in terms of Security Zones, SAP has a standard recommendation that I have always use when possible for growing your landscape and exposing your Solutions to either internal or external users:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/9d/44d7bc73ddce4f96f09de874350e78/content.htm
Depending on your security needs you can have 2 portals 1 external facing portal and one internal facing portal, or just 1 portal installed in the Inner DMZ , there is no formula is what your Architects prefer and there are  pros and cons in any scenario.
Now answering your question you do not need to expose both instances (CRM and Portal)  you only need to expose SAP Portal  because the  purpose of Portal is to provide a single point of access to your u201Cbackendu201D solutions in your case.   So Sap Web Dispatcher will be good choice or you can use a Hardware Load Balancing, if this is for external users then you need HA.
    Hope this helps.

  • Relationship Between ECC Customers (Contact Persons) and CRM BP

    Hello,
I am new to middleware and need some help with the relationship between ECC customers/contact persons and CRM business partners.
We are transferring via bdoc this information from ECC to CRM.
Which bdoc types are used when transferring customers/contact persons? I believe it is BUPA_MAIN but am not too sure. How is the relationship between customer its contact person transferred? Is this done through BUPA_REL? I looked at the segment fields in SBDM but am not too sure how to understand the relationship...
    Thanks for the help!
    Regards,
    Tiffanie

Thanks! With the initial load, how do I check what fields are being passed in the bdocs?
I tried to look for customer_main, customer_rel in SBDM  and couldn't find it. Instead I used BUPA_MAIN and found some segments but couldn't find all the data that was being transferred (e.g. customer name, address, etc...) Where do I find all the fields contained in the bdoc?
I see them in SMW01 when I view the bdoc contents but can not find the actual structure (data fields) that are being brought in from ECC.
    Thanks!

  • Communication between ECC and CRM

    Hello,
I am in phase of showing communication between SAP CRM 5.0 and ECC 6.0.
I am struggling with finding some simple transactions which are common in both, with which I can show correct connectivity between ECC and CRM.
I need to save some data from CRM and access the same via transaction within ECC, save some data via ECC and access it via CRM. I already established RFC link between ECC and CRM.
Probably communication between SD module of ECC with CRM.
Can you please help me out with this, a clue/correct direction will be of very helpful. Basically I want to know, what transaction I can use for same.
    Any help is really appreciated.
    Thanks
    -Vishal

    Hi Glenn,
I followed all steps in document mentioned above. In the end during execution of transaction I selected appropriate source and destination, when I click start transfer objects, it gets stuck in waiting phase.
Among those steps I was not able to perform step#10. Creating Subscriptions for OLTP. My ERP is not displaying this option under subscription wizard. Should it be reason for not starting transfer ? I also do not see ERP logon screen when I select transfer.
My another question is when transfer will complete, where I'll be able to see transferred objects within ERP database ?
    Thanks
    -Vishal

  • How to compare the no. items in an order i ERP and CRM?

    Hi SAP Experts,
We are facing an issue where the number of line  items in an order(same order) in ERP and CRM are different , properly not synchronized.e.g., one order in ERP is having 5 line items but in CRM for the same order has 7 line items.
How to compare and identify the difference in number of line items in ERP and CRM for same orders?
Is there any report or tables , any  other way?
    Thanks in advance
    Best Regards
    Succhi

You can use transaction SDIMA for checking if data between crm and erp are synchronized. You can either run a Header comparison or Detailed comparison of the data. It is simple and easy to use. You can find more details here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/EN/49/2a5a1d6c7f3895e10000000a421937/frameset.htm
Or you can use report CRM_ODE_CHECK_DOC in CRM system to compare sales Documents between R/3 and CRM per transaction type/sales organization or even the transaction number. Also has got options to check transactions Not equal in CRM and R/3.

  • Replication of text determination (business partner) between ERP and CRM

    Hello,
in ERP I have maintained a text determination procedure Z1 and assigned it to the text object "KNA1". The textprocedure include the Text ID's "Z011" and "Z020".
In CRM exist the text object "KNA1" and "BUT000". I have customized a a text determination procedure "Z1" and the same Text ID's as in ERP, to booth text objects.
The text ID's don't be replicated, no matter i maintain it in CRM or ERP.
Can anybody tell me, how can I replicate the content of the text ID's? What is the relevant text object in CRM?
    Thanks for help
    Regards
    Andreas

    Andrea,
There are objects for replicating the data between CRM and CDB.
    CRM_DNL_TTXOB  and CRM_DNL_TTXID.
But none for replication between R/3 and CRM. WE need to maintain it manually.

  • Middleware on CRM 7.0 for ERP and CRM sales integration

    Hi all,
i am involved in a CRM upgrade project in order to repleace the client current release with CRM 7.0.
currently, my client handles sales integration between ERP and CRM using middleware fucntion and in particular SCENARIO A that allows to create sales orders both in the CRM system and in the R/3 system and to change them mutually in both systems.
my question is: new release 7.0 covers all those included functionalities by default without implementing this scenario? If yes, how and what exactly.
thank you in advance and i am looking forward your feed-back
    cheers, lucia

    Hi Christophe
this can be done. You can call MDM web services for either doing a Free form search or even run a MDM matching strategy to find potential duplicates defined based on rules in MDM.
In one of our projects we have used Web services call from CRM ecommerce portal to MDM for doing a Customer search.
    Thanks-Ravi

  • Services in CRM 4.0 and CRM 5.0

    hi
what are the adv and dis-advantages of implementing CRM 4.0 / CRM 5.0
what are the services available in CRM 4.0 and what are the services offered in CRM 5.0
I checked the release notes but doesn't pin point the actual comparison.  the release notes just shows the features.....
appreciate, if anyone can share presentations or pdfs.
    thanks. krishnan

    Hi Krishnan,
To know the difference between CRM 4.0 and 5.0 you should check the release notes on CRM5.0 available on https://websmp204.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000429833&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000202&
There are several functional improvements, new functionalities and better integration points with SAP R/3 - SAP ECC ,
easier usage of IC Webclient, new things within Marketing and campaign management.
Also CRM 5.0 has added many new features like:
    - Visit planning
    - Warrenty Claims
    - Enhanced and easy configurable/ customizable IC Webclient
    - Concept of Marketing Organisation
Between CRM 5.0 and CRM 5.1 main change is in architecture. CRM 5.1 is UI based, you have view, component concepts.
(see SAP Service Marketplace quick link “crm-inst” &#8594; mySAP CRM &#8594; SAP CRM 2006s &#8594; SAP CRM 5.1 Cross Component &#8594; Master Guide SAP CRM 2006s).

  • Difference between SAP Business Workflow and CRM Workflow

    Hello guys,
Is there any difference between SAP Business Workflow and CRM Workflow?
Are there others workflows types in SAP?
In all SAP Workflow Courses (BIT600, BIT601, BIT603, BIT610) only was talked about SAP Business Workflow, and nothing about CRM Workflow.
    Thanks a lot!
    Kleber

    Hello Kleber,
There is not much of the differance between CRM workflows and SAP Business  workflows..
Workflows are esentially part of Basis (BC) components and hence its the same across all SAP products as all these products have components of Basis(BC) in them...
To Conclude, SAP Busines workflows and CRM workflows are the same things... However when you work on CRM, the BOR objects would be belonging to CRM and not to ECC... However conceptwise , there in no change at all.. If you learn BIT100......, you can also work on CRM workflows..
