Combining 2 del. into single invoice

Hi frnds.
I want to make single invoce of two. del.
Every thing is same like payer, billing date,etc.
Is there any setting I have to do in copy control.
please help me.

For collective/ consolidation of billing when all the relevant data is equal ,the system can conbine multiple deleveries  or sales document into one invoice.
<b><i>This is maintained by using factory calendar & copying rules</i></b>.
<i>To create consolidated invoicing for a customer,first define factory calendar the payer is using and then assign to billing view of the customer master record for payer. The billing calendar may indicate you one day of week is working day,thus system only propses only that day for billing but system will allow u for creating sales orders and deleveries on remaining days also.</i>
<b>Copy control  from delivery type LF to billing type F2</b>
<i>Apart from regular setting the data that is important to an invoice splitting or invoice combination is the entry in the field data VBRK\VBRP.
To create splitting rule, proceed to VOFM and select data transfer,billing documents.
Copy the std. 001-Inv Split . This is done by overwriting the number  such as type 900 over 001 and press enter.</i>
For further reference you can take help of  <u><i><b>Williams SD book</b></i></u> -Page No. 166
<b>Consildated Invoicing & Copy Control for Billing Dcoument</b>

    My business requirement is like this,
    Order is created and delivery process is done with PGI,but the material moves with manual invoice/DC,but the end of the week,all deliveries are compiled into a single invoice  for particular customer.Wheares the header condition,business item remains same.When i tried to put all deliveries for the customer X in vf01 and execute,the individual deliveries cannot be convereted into into single invoice.When split analysis is done it says header is different,but to my knowledge all header ,business items are unique.Kindly help me at this ase

    - Try using Tcode VF04. Opt for delivery related billing active.
    - Select the desired delivery in Billing due list. (Press Ctrl Key from keyboard to select multiple lines).
    - Then you have 2 option
    1. To click on Collective Billing button to do a collective invoice for the selected delv doc.
    2. To analysis whether you will be able to a collective billing or not. To analysis that
    - click on simulation button.
    - Billing Doc Simulate: Billing Doc Overview Screen
    - Select all lines.
    - There first go for Logs, by pressing Log button.
    - Then click on Split Analysis button to get split analysis.
    - If you find any split reason and modify/adjust your copying control accordingly to do combine billing
    - Finally, click on Collective Billing button to do a collective invoice for the selected delv doc.

  • Combine Sales Orders into one invoice.

    Hi friends,
    My invoices are order related. When I try to combine Sales Orders they are split because of different Assignment No., Reference No., Different Partners, Division and Payment Reference. The Sales Orders have same Payer, Payment terms, Incoterm.
    What should be the routine to combine Sales Order into a single invoice if the Sales Org, Distribution Channel, Sold to Party, Billing date  is same irrespective of the other fields.  Please advise/.

    How do i avoid the split due to these.

  • Combining separated text into single object ...

    I remember in older versions of Illustrator that when you used pathfinder to combine multiple objects into a single object ... it actually made them into a single object, regardless of weather or not they where intersecting.
    With the more recent versions of illustrator, when you try to "unite" objects in pathfinder ... the only ones that are truly combined into a single object are the ones that overlap ... anything separated will simply be "grouped" and remains a totally separate object ... even if you use "expand objects" on the group.
    I'm trying to use a third party program (path styler) and the problem I'm running into is that when I apply a stroke effect in path styler, it treats every letter in my headline as a separate object (even when united in pathfinder), causing the strokes to overlap the previous letter.
    What I want to do is combine all the letters into one single object (while still leaving space between each letter) so that path styler treats the text (and the outlines) properly. (So the outlines run into each other, instead of overlapping the fill.)
    Any help would be appreciated ... this should be simple ... but I think it may be a case of the program trying to preserve the history of "united" objects when I don't want it to.

    Delivery in STO is created for single order and for same delivery date, same delivery no. for different delivery date and  for multiple STO is not possible and its not logically correct,since after creation of delivery you will be doing picking and packing and Goods Issue.

    Hi ! Afzal,
    In the customer master record on the Sales Area Data, in the billing tab page, we have a field called Invoice dates.
    In that field, if you maintain a Factory Calender which has a set up of the dates, monthly one of the days, you can achieve your requirement.
    In the standard system for such a requirement Factory calender 'AM' is available. So fill in the field mentioned with Factory Calender 'AM - Agreement Monthly'.
    Now when you run Billing due list, all the deliveries that have been executed during the month will be available in billing due list only at the end of the month for this customer. Billing due list will be as regular for other customers. In this way, deliveries can be combined.

    If you understand how SQL statements are executed it's along these lines...
    1. Open Cursor
    2. Parse SQL statement and determine columns
    3. Bind in any input values
    4. Fetch data
    5. Bind out values to columns
    6. Repeat step 3 until no more data
    7. Close cursor
    Now, you're expecting that you can determine the columns (step 2) from the fetched data (step 4 onwards). You can't. The SQL engine needs to know the expected columns before any data is fetched so, it can't base the number of columns on the data itself.
    If you need that requirement, you would need to query the data first and build up a dynamic query based on the data and then execute that dynamically built query to fetch the data and pivot it into those columns, which means that you have queried the data twice. Not good practice and not good (or simple) coding.
    What you're talking of doing is something that should be handled at the presentation/interface layer, not as part of the data fetch.
    Typically these sorts of things are handled most easily in report generation/writer tools such as Oracle Reports, Business Objects etc. where they fetch the data from the database and then process it to format it on the display, pivoting the results as required.
    It's not something that lends itself to be easily achieved in SQL. Yes, SQL can do pivoting of data quite easily, but NOT with a dynamic number of columns.
    If you were to specify that there is a maximum number of columns that you could get (rather than wanting it dynamic), then you can do it simply in SQL with the max-decode method...

  • Combine 2 rows into single row?

    I have a table A which has information related to a process. For process completion there exist 2 rows. One has in it the total elapsed time, the time the entire process (which is multipart) begin and end time, but the columns related to rows processed are blank. Another related row has a start, end and elapsed time in it -- which I don't want -- but it has the row counts that I do want.
    I want to take these 2 rows, combine the relevant information into 1 row and insert that row into table B.
    I know I could insert from the first row and then come back and update it from the second row, but I hate having to read Table A twice. Any suggestions?

    its a case of multiple deliveries in single inoice. split analysis shows split due to defferent header data , number of foreign trade data . As far as I know every delivery is bound to have a unique foreign trade data. How can I combine deliveries into one single invoice.My customer, material , order type , delivery type are all the same.

    In your case ,kindly check the copy control configuration  in VTFL for the field  " Determ.export data     B--Redetermine export data
    once it is maintained and system will combine multiple deliveries into one invoice in your case.

    We are in to contract for 12 years with our client for a particular service,so we will raise a contract order for a particular item,with this we generate the order number,here we are generating some 150 orders numbers,this 150 order number I want to combine in to one single invoice document number,I have tried this in vf01 I am giving the all 150 document numbers,and excuting this but here for each sales order document number it is creating one billing document number,but I need one single invoice number for all this order numbers.

    In VTFA, please do the following changes,and then test by creating the sales orders then do collective billing.
    Keep Assignment number blank
    Keep Reference number blank
    Copy item number- Uncheck the box where tick box was selected
    Also make sure that PO Number in sales order is same

    I have several databases in the physical layer that I would like to combine into one database. How can I do this safely without interfering with the existing physical joins in the physical layer and the column mappings in the BMM layer ?

    I think so No,you cant combine all databases into single one.Actually why you want to do this?
    According to the requirement you select a database and concerned tables to build the repository,same way with other databases also you build RPD and establish joins in physical layer

    When  I am creating an out bound delivery for export customer,in foreign trade  data a number is generating, due to this I could not able to generate single invoice for multiple deliveries  documents of the same customer.
    I have checked the  header data,which  is same for all the documents except this number.I dont want to have that number.How to prevent the generation of that number.

    Hi there,
    Check which is your billing type in item catg. Weather it is order / delivery related billing?
    Which tab / field in foreign trade the num is generated in a delivery? If you are sure that you are not able to combine your deliveries into a single invoice, then check if that field is used in copy control routine. If yes, then bypass that field.
    If it is an order related billing, then check in VTFA. For delivery related billing check in VTFL.

  • Combine selected Debit memo request Items into one invoice

    The requirment is to select line items from multi debit memo request documents and combine those line items into one invoice.
    So far, our ABAP developer is designing an selection screen to list all the line items met certain criteria (e.g. certain material number, or certain service rendered dates etc.) from multi debit memo request.
    My challenge is how actually combine all these line items and push into one invoice ?
    I see that in VF01 SAP provides the capability to combine multi sales documents into one invoice processing . ( forget about the invoice split rule for now.) , but the item selection is greyed out.
    If I use VF06 do the collective billing, where to enter the line items ?
    Is there some user exit / BAPI can push line items from different sales document into one invoice creation ?
    Please let me know if my requirement is not clear.

    1.) As my understanding that debit memo is a billing invoice. Debit Memo Request is a sales doc. At least what I meant here debit memo and billing invoice is the same document.
    2.) We would like create the debit memo (invoice) through "SD" not FI.
    The challenge still exists, let me explain.
    Let's say we have 50 Debit Memo Request (DMR) Documents ready to bill the customer and each DMR has multi line items.
    e.g. DMR 001 has 20 line items and DMR 002 has 30 line items.
    The customer would like to take the 10 line items from DMR 001 and 20 line items from DMR 002 ( by certain selection criteria) to combine into one invoice.
    I was thinking use VF01 to combine the DMR 001 and 002 and let the program put billing block on those non-billed items, but in reality it doens't work; because some of the line items in the original DMR may have already been blocked the user. If the program put billing block, I can't tell whether the line item billing block is set originally by end user or the program.
    What I am trying to search for is the solution to take some of the line items from different DMRs and combine into one invoice, not combine several DMRs into one single invoice.
    Please help if there is any BAPI can do the job .
