Common Error Mesg Frustrating

hi,new to java,soplease be patient:
1) I've installed jdk1.6 on c drive in a folder named java
2) I've also saved the "HelloWorldApp.java" text file in the same folder
3) Now I try to run with C:\java\jdk1.6.0_10\bin\javac HelloWorldApp.java at the command prompt
I get error: "javac: file not found: HelloWorldApp.java"
I've also set the classpath permanently to jdk

Here you have changed the current directory to the jdk.bin directory. Your HelloWorldApp.java is is in the ...Desktop/Java directory, right?

RW-5004- RW-50010 etc.
For error we have to check instalaltion log files for can get more details about it
oracle have any any check after installation all installation are correct according to no of directory, files and file size ?Oracle has 2 checking mechanisim during installation.
1. Before start installation, rapidwiz makes Validate system Configuration check which is checking port avaliability,file system check etc.
2. End of the installation,rapidwiz makes Validate system Configuration again to check jsp,dbc file, db avaliablity etc..

In your experience what are the most common errors in binding files when deploying?

As the title suggest I'm interested in discussing the most common errors in binding files when deploying.
Reason for this is that I'm currently working on a Powershell script that can parse a binding file and create a reader friendly report (rtf format) with various information.
But the main purpose for this script is to find common errors in the binding file used. And so far these are the ones I've thought of:
- Tracking enabled for either services or the pipelines they are using (if it's a binding meant for Prod).
- Orchestrations logical ports not having any ports bound to them.
- URI containing certain words that's not ok. For example if a binding meant for Prod contains the word "test" anywhere in the URI then that should be reported in the created rtf report. This also applies vice versa.
So now I need your help with coming up with more ideas on common errors that need to be looked after and reported on if found!
Additional features the report should contain:
- Listing the details of each orchestration, send port, receive port along with their associated receive location(s). To better understand and get a quick overview on exactly what settings are planned to be deployed. Especially the "TransportTypeData"
section which otherwise can be quite tedious to read.
- List each unique host instance, so that I can easier see directly which ones might need a restart after an import.
I'd appreciate if you can come up with any more features that should be included in this script.

Filter on send port not on the same line as the Filter tag.
This one is a nice one, I ran into it several times. Mostly after copy/paste of a port definition for a binding file, because Visual Studio is formatting after paste the XML in a way the filter will get invalid. This leads to a cryptic error
during importing the binding.

Most common errors occurred to your PROD EBS

Hi Friends,
Can you share the most common errors happened to your EBS production system?
That I have to be aware of or be careful with or be watchful of.
As far as our PROD EBS R12 is concerned: (we have implemented GL yet) on production
and to follow is AR,AP,FA,CE.
The following errors happened,
1. PASTA printing does not work. where you have to kill or restart something process at
the OS level. but it happened long time like (1 in every quarter).
2. Tablespace full ( i wonder why that tablespace was not autoextend on)
3. Temp tablespace full (I wonder why some reports are very heavy user of TEMP)
4. Performance downgraded (the solution was to gather stats monthly)
5. OPP process wont start even if you reboot the server
( the solution was to kill -9 all the "applmgr" owned process)
...can you and more please...:) with your PROD experience

I want to create error mesg through process chain,I fallowed below procedure
Go to process chain end of process chain u2013context menu u2013created error mesg , but it is not working ,when the process chain completed email trigger successfully. How can I trigger error mesg through Email .

Hi Suneel,
Errors in reporting are like incorrect query creation, errors in creating RKF, CKF and variables, misunderstanding the data, or errors with other tools like broadcasting. Errors in extraction relate to source system connectivity, field-infoobject mapping, incorrect code etc. Also, please search the forums and you will find many real time examples.

Sorry, I don't have any suggestions at this time. You can try running the Network Diagnostics in iTunes:

and post the results here. That may provide some clues that someone can use to diagnose the problem and offer suggestions.

Need to Turn it OFF the Notification used by the AIA Common Error Handler.

My requirement is to turn it off the Notifcation send by the AIA common Error Handler, when the error occurs in the AIA ecosystem.
Error Handling framework given by AIA does the Notification and Logging feature. In my case I need only the logging, but not the Notification. Notification has to be turned off for a time and has to be turned on when it is required.
1) I can acheive this by removeing the email account file (ie. ns_email.xml) from the server directory and can be replaced at the time when required,but this needs the restart of the Server.
Any Idea how to turn it off the notification and turn it on when required ?

Is there any way to turn it off the Notification, because if we retire the ReadJMSNotification Service all the error message are stayed in the Topic and we have to manually drain the message from topic.
And one more thing is how the error messages are published to that AIA.AIA_Error_Topic.

how can I fix this attribute for this user because not all the user from the domain suffer from it. are there any special procedures to do it.

When did the user(s) start experiencing the problem and what did you change around this time e.g. new patch to UWC, upgraded Directory Server..?
There is a known bug with Directory Server that can result in the exact error you provided -- bug#6294113 - "DS5.2p3- after first empty replace op. on single-valued attribute no futher add possible - rpl. on".
The fix is to upgrade to DS5.2p6.
Note however that the directory values that were 'broken' due to the above bug need to be manually fixed post-applying the directory server patch (the patch only stops future occurrences of the problem). Contact Sun Support to get a copy of the scripts to help you identify and repair these entries.

SAP Tickets are nothing but problems or issues raised by the end
customer in a company where end users are running SAP project.
Once the SAP project is implemented, support phase begins. Support
team is responsible for solving the tickets/issues in day-to-day
business.
For any support project, customer will set up Help Desk. If any
problem occurs customer will call Help Desk and register the
issue/Ticket.
Different companies use different software products to manage SAP
Tickets. Remember this software is not provided by SAP. It is third
party software. There are many software products in the market like
Manage Now et c. You can call these software products as tools.
All tools will provide the common attributes which are listed below-
1) Every user will be provided with user name and password to enter
into the tool
2) We can see the tickets assigned for a particular user name.
3) You can list all open tickets by giving the Date Range
4) You can list all closed tickets by giving the Date Range
5) You can list out all the open tickets assigned for an User
6) You can list out all the closed tickets assigned for an User
7) You can see the description of the Ticket, by entering the Ticket
Number. You can see who had raised the Ticket, what is the problem.
What is the severity of the Ticket?
There are lot many other attributes like you can transfer the Ticket
to another user etc.
What is the severity of the problem Ticket?
When a Ticket is raised, it will be given severity. There are
following severities. It may vary from company to company.
Severity 1

The severity will be decided based on the business critical impacts.

Severity 1 problem tickets should be solved in 8 hours.

Severity 4 problem ticket should be solved in 30 working days.
Again the no of days may vary from one company to another.
All these things will be decided when giving the contract to the IT
company. The agreement is called as "SLA".
SLA stands for Service Level Agreement.
What happens if a particular ticket is not solved by the IT company
according to the SLA/Contract?
The Customer imposes fine on IT company as per the contract/SLA.
