Comparing two charts. Finding which elements changed position.

Question

Hello, I've a two separate list with names, in each list there are the same names but in different position. I need to check which persons are in different positions.
Example:
The premier league list with the ranking of teams at the end of two different seasons, I need to see which team did better and which team did worse and if there are new teams that got in the list.
There is a way to do that? In my case I've have 200 elements is rather impossible to do it manually.
Any help?

Your translation to Italian is certainly wrong.
My guess is that your machine is using the decimal comma so, replacing English functions names by Italian ones is not sufficient, you must replace commas by semi-colons.
It's the B, A, BA of Italian Numbers as well as French one.
- with the second formula it sais that VLOOKUP needs between 3 and 4 arguments and that it got only 1.
Same problem.
If I translated well, the italian formulas must be:
=SE(VAL.ERRORE(CERCA.VERT(A;2008 :: $A:$B;2;0));"new team";SE(CERCA.VERT(A;2008 :: $A:$B;2;0)>B;"worse";SE(CERCA.VERT(A;2008 :: $A:$B;2;0)<B;"better";"equal")))
We may use a shorter formula SE we use also column D
In cells of column C the formula would be:
=CERCA.VERT(A;2008 :: $A:$B;2;0)
in cells of column D it would be:
=SE(VAL.ERRORE(C);"new team";SE(C>B;"worse";SE(C<B;"better";"equal")))
