Compressor 4 missing output file

I have compressor 4 set to place the transcoded movie file on my desktop.  The file transcoding was "successful" but it's not on the desktop.  I did a find search and it only came up with the original movie file.  Where did it go?

Hi Maurice, you could try looking in the Compressor.app V4.1.x stomp log using the Console.app in here or their ***stomp** logs here in your home directory at:
~/Library/Logs/Compressor/servicecontroller\:com.apple.stomp.transcoder.stomp.lo g or the others with STOMP in them.
Look for a string with TARGET in in.. You should see where  Qmaster/Compressor inteneded to write the output.
pid="625" msg="done preProcess for job target: file:///volumes/sasraid01/client992/compressor/masters/job184a_21-Apple%20ProRes%20422.mov"/>
pid="625" msg="starting _processRequest for job target: file:///volumes/sasraid01/client992/compressor/masters/job184a_21-Apple%20ProRes%20422.mov"/>
pid="625" msg="QuickTime Transcode, rendering in YUV 8 bit 422"/> /volumes/sasraid01/client992/compressor/masters
Look here you will turn up what you need. You can audit these logs for completed work as well for your production workflow.
if you still can't locate it use the mdfind command in the terminal to locate the object
OT: Hopefully we can use the new FLASH language in OSX 10.10 to develop some new apps for this rather than applescript etc...!
Post your results for others to see.

  • Output file naming

    Hi - I want to batch convert dozens of files at one time that each have a unique name. In compressor preferences I can select my setting and destination and then drag my files for conversion into compressor. The output file name however contains my setting name and info. I know that I can click on each file output name to delete the name info I don't want - but I don't want to have to do that for dozens of files.
    Question - how can I get compressor not to include the setting name and info in the output file name without having to delete the unwanted naming info manually.
    thanks

    Compressor may not be the tool for this job. I think you want to do this at the Finder level. Automator and AppleScript come with several folder-file routines that can change names with a fairly simple click.
    Hopefully someone who knows the finer controls in Compressor will drop by over the next few days with better suggestions.

    Hi,
    You can view upto 512 character in the output.
    Check out the PROGRAM statement of Program PROGRAM rswatch0 (Transaction AL11).
    PROGRAM rswatch0 MESSAGE-ID s1 NO STANDARD PAGE HEADING LINE-SIZE 512.
    Thats the reason why u can see more that 512 characters.
    You can download the data to ur internal table and check that data is still there.

  • DMEE Output File missing records

    I'm trying to create a flat file to send payment information to the Bank. I create a format tree that correspond to the Bank Layout using DMEE1 tcode. The request is create a flat file in which only detail records are stored (no headers are needed). After I configure all the payment stuff and run the payment program, the output file only contains one record. My testing scenario include two invoices pointing to a different vendors which are ready to be paid, the file should have two records.
    In addition, the idea is to create an Output file based on the CoCde field (separate files). Could you please help on this issue.

    HI Cristobal:
    Verifying the file I noticed that It has one record including to payment documents. Instead of that I need to records one per payment document. I tried with both options that you mentioned, but both of them creates one record with the two payments documents.
    Could you please let me know what I'm doing wrong?

  • No output file on custom Invoice Report

    Hi,
    I have made custom reports using Reports/XMLP for PO, Consolidated Invoice and Invoice. PO and Consolidated Invoice are running fine, my problem is with Standard Invoice.
    I made a modification to the datamodel of the standard report (RAXINV.rdf), creating a new report with the modified data
    (RAXINV_FAR.rdf). After uploading the report and creating the request, I
    followed all the steps that appear in the XMLP User Guide (Generate & register
    data definition, design and register the layout rdf model). After running the concurrent program It ends with no errors, but when I try to fetch the Output. Under View->Requests->Find->View
    Output, I get the error message: "Unable to find published output for this
    request" and after clicking 'OK' I get "No output file exists for request
    XXXXXX".
    The funny thing is that if I run the Concurrent "XML Report Publisher" I can retrieve the missing Output.
    Is there a patch/workaround to get the output without running "XML Report Publisher"?
    I´m on EBS 11.5.10.2 and the XMLP version is 5.0.0

    Stupid case of RTFM -- as I'd changed the mapping (as per other post) to include the ITEM as the higher level node this is the parameeter I need in the recordset
    so when recordset parameter is changed to item the other parameters rmaining the same)
    the file works fine
    Output text file

    1000005|ddfask|;LK;L
    1000010|One Time  Customer Test|SADFIWQEFG
    I've given you the points in any case --although I solved the problem before I saw your post you put me on to the correct track from my other related post where I was missing  the higher level node in the data and message mappings

  • How can I have a custom output file destination for each different preset?

    Hey guys,
    I have a bunch of presets in AME but I need to have each preset export to it's own folder. How can I do that? This was a really simple thing to do in Compressor but in Media Encoder is seems like I can only specify one output file destination for the whole application in general and everything gets exported to that folder. Can anyone help me with that please?

    This is a user to user forum. It is not staffed by Adobe employees so you will not always get a direct response from Adobe.
    That being said, the output destination is not tied to the presets so this is not possible without a little extra work. You can change multiple output destinations by selecting multiple jobs and then clicking on one of the output locations to update them all. Another way to set this up would be to use watch folders.
    This is a feature request are aware of but if you would like to add your vote for it, please add that request here: Adobe - Feature Request/Bug Report Form

  • Canvas brightness doesn't match FCP output files

    After spending hundreds of hours trying to color correct in the FCP canvas only to create output files (MPEG2 for DVDs and MOV files for online stuff) which are either too dark or too light, too saturated or too bland, I finally realized that what I'm seeing in my FCP canvas window does not match - at all - the final, compressed file when I export using Compressor to an avi, an mpeg, or a Quicktime MOV file.
    I invested in a good Gretamacbeth screen calibration device (Eye-One Display 2) only to find that the problem is not my monitor or its calibration, but the software.
    I can output to a Quicktime file and play the same clip, side-by-side, with the identical clip in FCP, as viewed through the canvas, on the same monitor. Invariably the FCP canvas image is darker, has higher contrast, and shows much richer color saturation. The Quicktime movie is too bright, and too washed-out looking in the colors compared with the FCP canvas. And when I output to an mpeg2 and author a DVD using DVD Studio Pro, and then pop the completed DVD into my Mac (or TV/DVD player) and view it, it always turns out much brighter and more washed out than what my FCP canvas had led me to believe.
    To try to compensate for this, I manually brightened my monitor somewhat and re-edited my footage, trying to boost luma and chroma levels as much as I could without exceeding broadcast standard limits, only to find that now some of the resulting DVD was oversaturated and too dark. I REALLY need an accurate canvas on which to edit; it's impossible to create anything worthwhile if I have nothing else to do than to simply guess how every clip is going to look and pray that the final result isn't too far off.
    Has anyone else encountered this? It's a real problem for me. I'm using FCP 5.04 on a dual-processor G5 with 5 GB of RAM and a dual-monitor setup - an Apple 17" monitor and an Apple 23" cinematic display.
    Any input or ideas would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
    Powermac G5   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

    Thanks to both of you, Steve and Shane, for your quick replies.
    I always render as I go, and I disabled overlays in the canvas long ago. And I realize that calibration is a key issue, especially for web files, and that the view produced in the FCP canvas isn't a full-resolution representation of the underlying digital file.
    But when I'm editing my actors' faces and adjusting their colors to get just the right amount of pink rosiness in their cheeks, and carefully setting the right light levels in the background, and then I output my file to any format and view the resulting file on the SAME CRT on which I did my editing, suddenly their faces have lost all their color, and the background is too light and washed out, even though I'm viewing the thing on the same screen I used to edit it.
    So no matter how my monitor is calibrated, I believe that any high-quality output file that FCP creates should resemble, at least in terms of color and brightness levels, the image I edited in the canvas moments earlier, at least if viewed on the same screen. I realize that resolution will vary and one might be more blurry or whatever; that's not the problem.
    In fact, if I use FCP to create a Quicktime file and an mpeg-2 for a DVD and then view that file on any of my PC monitors and on my television via my DVD player, it looks remarkably consistent. In other words, the output file looks fairly close, in terms of chroma and luma, when viewed either on my Mac (with the Quicktime player), my PC, or even my TV (viewed as a DVD). The only thing that looks different is if I compare this file to the file I edited, as seen on the FCP canvas, where the colors look much richer and the contrast is a lot darker. Even when viewing both files on the same computer screen, one in FCP and the other in Quicktime, the FCP one looks substantially different. Have others run into a similar problem, or is it just me? I can't believe professional editors have to resort to always guessing whether what they see in the canvas will look anything like their final FCP output, at least if they're viewing it on the same monitor.
    So I guess I'm really wondering whether there's some way to independently adjust the visible chroma and luma levels in the canvas itself, to configure them properly, so that what I see when I'm editing will more closely match the files I generate when I'm done, when viewing them both on the same screen.
    Thanks again for any light (or contrast!) you can shine on this problem.

  • EDIFECS Mapping not found in the X12 Output file in Oracle B2B 11g

    Hi,
    We are using Oracle SOA suite 11g, we have created a outbound process for EDI 855 which is PO Acknowledgement.
    We are using a XML Gateway for the outbound and consuming the message in BPEL. We are mapping the OAG xml to EDIFECS xml to be consumed by Oracle B2B. We had created the EDIFECS xsd and ecs file using Oracle B2B editor and got it validated.
    Now the issue is we have mapped few elements in BPEL and the same data is found in the payload message in Oracle B2B, but we are unable to see the data in the X12 output file.
    Any thoughts will be hightly appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Examples of Output Files in Adobe CS5.5 - Todd Kopriva Disk Optimization Question

    Hello Todd Kopriva
    Your video on Disk Drive Optimization is excellent. I went out to purchase (2) Raid-5 (8 TB) units. I had a question regarding Read Files going to one Disk and Output Files going to another. Can you give some examples of what type of Output Files you are talking about. Iam fairly new to Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium. I am presently usiung Premiere and Encore as well as After Effects. I just want to make sure as to what files will be going tomy Output Raid Drive.  I am thinking that one of them may the file created when you export out of Premiere wo Media Encoder.
    Thanks for the help and keep up the Tutorials.
    Thanks,
    Steve

  • Can Flex make a Design Tool with a quality output file?

    Hi there,
    I have a team of developers working on a web-based design tool for a large-format print shop. They built the prototype on a Flex platform and used ImageMagick to handle text and image effects.
    Unfortunately, ImageMagick cannot produce the quality of output file we need for our products (prints up to 3 ft by 6 ft / 1m x 2m). It rasterizes all of the design objects, including text and vector clipart.
    Is it possible for Flex to handle all of these elements (object rotation, scale changes, etc.) and output a final design to high quality PDF or AI files without ImageMagick?
    I'm just not sure if my developers are missing something or if they're just not communicating the technical challenges involved in creating such large, high quality output files for a custom, web-based application.
    Many thanks in advance for any insight!

    I'm still not sure I understand what you need.  Sounds like the image map is the same for all the pages, but the image itself is different, although the images are the same size on each page.  Is that it?
    In that case, you could do this in a number of ways, but the best might be -
    Make the page have a transparent PNG/GIF image the same size as the map that has the 5 mapped areas defined on it.  Make the container for that image have a CSS BACKGROUND image that is the actual map.  Specify this CSS background image's path in an embedded stylesheet in the editable region of the head of the page.
    With this as the template, all you need to do on each page is to respecify the background image - since the embedded stylesheet is in an editable region that's do-able.  In other words the TEMPLATE would be -
    <html>
    <head>
    <!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="head">
    <style type="text/css">
    #foo {
         background-image:url(path_to_map.jpg);
         background-repeat:no-repeat;
    </style>
    <!-- TemplateEndEditable -->
    </head>
    <body>
    <div id="foo">
         <img width="map_width" height="map_height" src="transparent.png" usemap="#foomap">
    <map name="foomap">
    </map>
    </body>
    </html>
    The map image can, itself, be in an uneditable region of the page....

  • Payload missing in File-File scenario

    Hi,
    I have created a scenario which is a combination of File-IDoc and File-File scenario.
    First scenario is working fine.IDoc is getting generated and posted to SAP R/3.
    I could see messages for these two as child messages in sxmb_moni with same message ID.
    But in the second message,payload is missing in Call Adapter block and Response block in sxmb_moni.
    Also,output file is not getting generated though the message is successful in sxmb_moni.
    Could anyone please let me know what could be the reason for this.
    Thanks.
    Best Regards,
    Shweta

  • RFC to XI File -  can NEVER EVER  get more than one record in Output file.

    Hi guys
    This might be related to my other post on  File conversion but whatever I do I just can't seem to get more than one record in the output file
    the payload from R3==> XI seems fine
    for example
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <rfc:Z_XI_005_RFC xmlns:rfc="urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions">
    - <IP_CUSTOMER_HEADER>
    - <item>
      <CUSTOMERID>1000001</CUSTOMERID>
      <COMPANY>One-time ship-to</COMPANY>
      <SHORT_NAME>ONE-TIME</SHORT_NAME>
      <STREET />
      <STREET2 />
      <STREET3 />
      <STREET4 />
    ...... more data
    </item>
    then next customer  master data and so on
    - <item>
      <CUSTOMERID>1000005</CUSTOMERID>
      <COMPANY>ddfask</COMPANY>
      <SHORT_NAME>;LK;L</SHORT_NAME>
      <STREET />
      <STREET2 />
      <STREET3 />
      <STREET4/>
    etc etc until
    <HKUNNR>60000</HKUNNR>
      <SALES_REGION />
      </item>
      </IP_CUSTOMER_HEADER>
      </rfc:Z_XI_005_RFC>
    All I get on the Output target file
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns1:MT_customer_header xmlns:ns1="http://avenue.com/xi/test">
      <CustomerId>1000001</CustomerId>
      <company>One-time ship-to</company>
      <shortname>ONE-TIME</shortname>
    .... more data
      </ns1:MT_customer_header>
    the <item> and subsequent records all seem to have vanished.
    I must be doing something PARTICULARLY stupid as nobody else ever seems to have this problem --  I've tried almost every possible combination but still to no avail
    The function module is passing a table to XI in the correct structure and the payload seems to be fine so what on earth is broken here !!!,.
    Cheers
    Jimbo

    Thanks everybody -- it's working now
    RFC call was passing data correctly
    function z_xi_005_rfc.
    ""Local interface:
    *"  TABLES
    *"      IP_CUSTOMER_HEADER STRUCTURE  ZAP_CUSTOMER_INFO_2
    endfunction.
    in debug mode table data was fine -- in this instance 3 records were being passed.
    3 errors  in mapping etc fixed (with help from SDN - thanks)
    1)  missing the ITEM level in the Data type (hence mapping)
    2)  needed 0:unbounded in the occurrence
    3)  also mapping Item====>Item was missing (sub fields were ok)
    Points awarded
    final file output ok output now  ok (with 3 fields only for testing)
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns1:MT_customer_header xmlns:ns1="http://avenue.com/xi/test">
    - <item>
      <Customerid>1000001</Customerid>
      <company>One-time ship-to</company>
      <shortname>ONE-TIME</shortname>
      </item>
    - <item>
      <Customerid>1000005</Customerid>
      <company>ddfask</company>
      <shortname>;LK;L</shortname>
      </item>
    - <item>
      <Customerid>1000010</Customerid>
      <company>One Time Customer Test</company>
      <shortname>SADFIWQEFG</shortname>
      </item>
      </ns1:MT_customer_header>
    Now only the final problem to make file content conversion work.
    Once again thanks --sometimes what seem trivial or simple problems take AGES to fix until someone else gives you a clue --that's why boards like SDN are great value.
    Cheers
    Jimbo

  • Digital Signature & Encryption of an output file

    Hi to all,
    I have the following requirement:
    I need to digitally sign and encrypt a file generated by SAP. The receiver needs that the digital sign has been made with SHA1withRSA algorithms and the envelope with PKCS#7.
    I read many articles about it, but still have a lot of doubts on what really I'm needing to perform the requirement. I already read all the threads in SDN.
    My client gave me a .cer file.
    I try to run the program SSF01, but i don't know how i have to use it.
    My questions are:
    1.- Do any have an example of the utilization of function's modules (function group SSFG)?
    2.- How do i have to use the .cer file? Do I have to run transaction STRUST?
    3.- Who must give me the public and private key?
    Many thanks to all, any help or comment will be apreciated.
    Regards,
    Andrew83.

    Taking up the requirement again (I had to resolved some production issues), I return to perform the test programs to get encrypted and digitally signed.
    I'll comment you the news, so finally I'll can give thanks to whom corresponds. I would be glad, if i could mark this thread as "Answered" at the end.
    Regards,
    News:
    OK, now I'm stuck. I'll give you a list of all the things (files, keys, certificates...) I have, and what I need to do.
    Version of SAP 4.7 with SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA Release 620.
    Requirement:
    1.- Sign an output file for payments with SHA1withRSA.
    2.- Envelope with PKCS#7.
    3.- This must be done in background mode, so the user doesn't interact with the signing. So I need to perform this in the application server. The problematic of including this on an exit, it's not a big deal, so i only wanted to create some test programs in the first place.
    The customer gave to me in order to perform this, the followings files:
    1.- File "AAAA.cer" from the receiver, in order to envelope the output file. This I think is the public key of the receiver.
    2.- Files "BBBB.crt", "BBBB.key" and "CCCC.pem" from the customer,
    in order to sign the output file. This seems to be the private key of the customer.
    Now, the questions I have are:
    1.- Is there anything missing to perform the encrypt and the file signing?
    2.- Do I have to use STRUST,  and How? I have already used it, but i think that in the wrong way. Do I have to create 2 PSE files, one for the signing and another for the encrypting?
    3.- I read the help.sap, and found in some cases that the SAPSECULIB only works for signing, and not for encrypting. To Encrypt, do I need to install SAP Cryptographic Library?
    4.- I cannot run report SSF01 succesfully.
    5.- Do I Have to create a SSF Profile?
    I'll really appreciate your help. I have been working with abap, since 2005, but this is driving me crazy.
    Merry christmas for everyone who read my threads!
    Regards,
    Andrew83.

    However when I run the Saudi Payment Output File , nothing is changed.
    I have a feeling that I am missing some step.

    Hello,
    Did you try to catalog the backuppieces ? The controlfile you restored might not be aware of the backup pieces stored at "/appli/oracle/BACKUP/RMAN/FULL/MYDB/".
    Try to catalog the backup location or each backup piece separately.
    RMAN>catalog start with '/appli/oracle/BACKUP/RMAN/FULL/MYDB/';or
    RMAN>catalog backuppiece '<backuppiece-name-with-full-path>';Regards,
