CONDITIOIN VALUE NOT REQUIRED TO INCLUDE IN PO NET PRICE

HI,
I have scenario that i don't want to include the condition value into PO net price while doing GR.
Regard
Kashif

Dear Ramesh,
I have scenario that i want to add one condition which should not effect the net price and the moving average price of the material. While GR also total amount in LLC should be net price only here also condition value should not add, normally in GR it is adding condition value and hence defining the moving average price based on that.
I hope you understand my scenario.

  • Freight charges not to be included in the Net value and Profit margin

    Hi Gurus,
My client dosent want shipping charges to be included in the net value, but it should appear in the price and also the shipping charges should not be considered in calculating the profit margin.
Another point is my sale price is cost plus 20% profit. So in my pricing starting point is EK02 and PR00 is 120% of EK02(maintained condition recored for PR00 as 120% of EK02). pls advice if this is correct way of doing it.

V/06  open the freight condition type and Tick the field accruals in control data 2
assign the account key in pricing for accruals.

  • SAP Note  PO release strategy based on net price

As we know this is standard sap as the PO release strategy can configure on PO net price not any other prices e.g. effective price etc.
can any body suggest me the related SAP NOTE for the same.
It's highly required for me to convince to the client.
    Thanks in advance

  • We are not able to track how PO net price got updated for 1 purticular mat.

    Hi SAP Gurus,
We are not able to track how how price got updated, because there is no PIR for this material, standard price maintained
in the material master diffrent than PO price, and last/earlier to this PO price is also diffrent. And not able to see any price changes for this line item.
Other than this can we track or check regarding PO net price for the material.
    Thanks and Regards,
    SHARAN.

    Hi,
    Check the item detail->conditions->analysis.
You can know from where the price got picked.
Also check whether the material has any manual conditions (MEK*)

  • Bind Variable : required - no message, not required - error

    hi
Please consider the example application created using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0
    at http://www.consideringred.com/files/oracle/2012/RequiredOrNotBVarApp-v0.01.zip
It has these View Objects defined
    - EmployeesReqNoValueBVarVO which has a required Bind Variable, and where clause "last_name like '%' || :LastNameBVar || '%'"
    - EmployeesNotReqNoValueBVarVO which has a NOT required Bind Variable, and where clause "(:LastNameBVar is null or last_name like '%' || :LastNameBVar || '%')"
The Bind Variable in both View Objects does NOT have a value (no default value, not programmatically set, not entered by the user, ...).
This "no value set" aspect could be the result of a "development error", but the resulting observed behaviour is at least "peculiar".
    - scenario (sc1) : run "try tryEmployeesReqNoValueBVarVO", see a table filled with rows and NO message about the required Bind Variable
    - scenario (sc2) : run "try tryEmployeesNotReqNoValueBVarVO", see "No data to display." in the table and the "Missing IN or OUT parameter at index:: 1" error for the NOT required Bind Variable for a where clause that can deal with null values
    - question (q1) How can be explained that scenario (sc1) does not result in an error message about the required Bind Variable (and scenario (sc2) does result in an error message about the NOT required Bind Variable)?
    - question (q2) What does the "Required" checkbox for a Bind Variable really mean for Bind Variables used in a where clause of a View Object?
If the described behaviour can be reproduced (using RequiredOrNotBVarApp-v0.01.zip), confirmations are welcome.
(Aspects of these scenario's could be related to forum thread "Bind variable required/not required: strange behaviour".)
    many thanks

    Thanks for your reply Frank.

... your query actually is dependent on the existence of the bind variable because the bind variable is used in the where clause part. ...Sure, and the Bind Variable does exist (in both (sc1) and (sc2)).
... This has nothing to do with whether the bind variable value is checked for NULL and if the value it contains is NULL performs an "all you can eat" type of query. Because the existing, NOT required Bind Variable has not been given a value in scenario (sc2), the check for NULL only makes more explicit that NULL is a valid value for the SQL statement.
... Non required bind variables are used in the context of view criteria to avoid missing IN or OUT parameters. ...The "Required" checkbox for a Bind Variable is also available/enabled when the Bind Variable is not used in a View Criteria (in both (sc1) and (sc2)).
... In the case of a view criteria, the VO query may be executed without the view criteria applied and for this reason should not fail only because the defined bind variable is not provided. ...No View Criteria in the scenario's (sc1) and (sc2) I descirbe.
... If you run the query in the tester, you get
(java.sql.SQLException) Missing IN or OUT parameter at index:: 1
and no query is executed at all for EmployeesNotReqNoValueBVarVOSure, that matches scenario (sc2), but the Bind Variable can be configured as NOT required, how can it be missing?
The JDeveloper help page "Create or Edit Bind Variables Dialog - Variable Page" says:
"... Alternatively, you can use the SQL Statement page of the Edit View Objects dialog to enter a parameterized WHERE clause. Note that the bind variables you enter in a parameterized SQL WHERE clause will require a valid value at runtime or a runtime exception error will be thrown. ..."
So, null as a valid value, seems to explain the behaviour in scenario (sc1).
"... In contrast, when you create a view criteria filter condition that references a named bind variable, you can specify whether the value is required or optional. ..."
But, the "Required" checkbox is also available (to uncheck) for Bind Variables that are not used in a View Criteria.
Specifically for the "Required" checkbox the help page says : "... Select if you want to make the value of a name bind variable required for any usage the references the named bind variable. For example, when the value is required (default), all view criteria items that reference the named bind variable will fail to execute unless a valid value is supplied at runtime. Alternatively, you can leave the value not required and use the Create View Criteria dialog to specify whether or not individual view criteria items require the value. ..."
Again, the focus is on View Criteria, although it can also be unchecked (configuring as NOT Required) for Bind Variables that are not used in a View Criteria (which does not seem to be something you should do).
But, still, there is a perspective here that makes this possibly very confusing:
    - a View Object where clause with a required Bind Variable, no value set --> results in rows, and NO message about a missing value
    - a View Object where clause with a NOT required Bind Variable, no value set --> results in no rows, and a message about a missing value

  • PO tax value is not added in net price

    Hi
In PO tax value is not added in Net price .
In the pricing elements it is showing the total value .
But in the field of net value , it is not calculating the net value and so it is showing in the PO print out.
    Kindly advise.
    regards,

    Hi Sandeep,
In case u want to print the net value with the tax u have to make the value as print relevant in the pricing procedure .
And also u need to store this value in the field from  where the net price is printed and again this can be done in the pricing procedure.
Hope this will help you .

  • Freight value during vendor returns not required

    Hi,
In PO along with PO price PBXX we have a manual condition for freight. When a GR is done the freight value(credit entry) would show in the accounting document. When returns to vendor is done with movement 122 the freight value again shows in the accounting document as debit entry.
The requirement is that the freight value is not required for returns to vendor(mvt 122).
    Please advice.
    Regards,
    Pratap

You are right, you can opt for returns 122 movement due to quality reasons when material is GR but invoice is not done,
Whereas goods returns through p.o(161 movement) is done when you do goods returns after invoice posting.
But accounting entries were correct for both cases.
How frieght is considered for your business ?

  • How to enter value not included in LOV

When I use an LOV, I'd like to be able to key-in a value not in the LOV. Can I get there from here?

I'm beginning to wonder if this is possible, since LOV's are built with 'display' and 'return' values and a dynamic user keyed value doesn't have a corresponding 'return' value, eh?
So... can anyone verify for me that LOV's will ONLY accept values existing on the LOV at time of population? If so, is there another way to provide a list of potential selection values while still providing the option of a user key-in not found on the list?

  • Conditions in Purchase Order - No scroll bar/Sales Tax value not in mmr

    Hello,
I am stuck in a weird problem where I have created a Condition Calculation Schema, assigned it to Schema group and assigned that schema to vendor, but when i open my condition in the PO, it does not give me scroll bar i.e. I have calculation Schema with around 10+ conditions, but when I try to put all the conditions in PO at one time, the scroll bar doesnot come up and without it, I cannot view all my conditions in the PO. Its saving the conditions though as seen in report, but cannot display it in PO without the scroll bar. Any ideas?
Another assignment is that sales tax value and % should not increase the mmr value at time of GR, but when I do GR its adding the sales tax value to mmr value, my requirement is just Gross price be added to mmr, not sales tax value/%. I tried the Statistical checks in Calculation Schema, but to no vail, at GR the sales tax value is being added to the mmr record. Any ideas?
Lots of points awarded for answer/answers.
    Any clue will help
    Thank you/Afshad

Q Another assignment is that sales tax value and % should not increase the mmr value at time of GR.
    Ans:
    Dear Afshad,
Reference to your question, you need to do few settings in your Condition Type and Pricing Schema, if you need Sales Tax value & % not to include in your Material value.
1 - In SPRO, Check that in your condition type, Control data 2 tab, Accruals check box should not be selected.
2 - In your Calculation Schema, against your condition types for Sales Tax % and Sales Tax Value, select the check box for Manual & Statistics.
3 - Also in your Calculation Schema, you should not select any account key in AccKey (Account Key) and in Accruals colomns.
If any one of these setting is not defined, the valuation price for your material will be increased due to the fact that your settings for Condition type and Calculation Schema is allowing the same to hit the value of your material directly.
    Hope it works for you.

  • Programme RM06INP0 is NOT updaing Net price value at in ME13 screen in ECC

    Hi Experts ,
We are on  ECC 6.04 with SRM 7. We are using PIR as one of the SoS in Shopping cart in Classic scenario.
When we are running the programme RM06INP0 in ECC in foreground /background to update the Net price field ( NETPR), but  it is only updating at value at Table Level ( EINE-NETPR) and NOT at Screen Level  ( or sometimes it update at Screens level)
It does not affecting any functionality in ECC or SRM, since  system propose the Price from EINE-NETPR for PIR in SoS in SRM Shopping Cart & from last PO in ECC PO in ME21N , but user do NOT able to able to see the Price in ME13 ( Display Pur. Info Record)
Can anyone please suggest what should be the issue ?
    Thank you .
    NAP

    Thanks Patilmallinath .
I saw below information for this programe in "i" in SE38
    Short text
Price Determination for Purchasing Info Records
The report calculates the current prices of the info records and (if desired) updates the latter with the results.
    Description
For each info record that satisfies the criteria set out in the initial screen, this report calculates the new net and effective prices from the currently valid conditions.
If there is a variance from the prices stored in the info record, the new prices can be adopted in the info record.
If there are no valid conditions, the prices in the relevant info records are not changed.
    Requirements
The Test run indicator determines whether the new prices are to be adopted in the info records:
    'X' -> the report does not update the info records with the new prices;
' ' -> the report updates the info records with the new prices.
    Output
The report generates a list containing only those info records in respect of which the newly calculated prices differ from those of the info record. Included in the output are the old and the new prices.
and according to it it should update the Net Price in the Screen. Well, issue is 'Not updating the Price'...it is updating price at table level...but not at screen level...manytimes...
Can you/anyone please suggest on this ?

  • Time value not at all or in the wrong way send to the BAPI Trip Create From

    Hi @ all,
I try to call a BAPI by sending besides a couple of other parameters, which are working fine, two times values. Those times are required for creating a (Business-) Trip within SAP. This BAPI requests the time values in the format time (E).
But it seems not possible for me to send the time values to the BAPI. If I look into the Flash-Debugger I see that the values are empty or including Dates. For sure I'd a look on the right formattings this meens the Input-Fields are declared as Time (E) and connected in the right way.
If I test the BAPI with the function "Test Data Service" the time values are sent in the right way. So this means to me that there must be a problem within VC by transporting the Input values to the BAPI. Also if I try to send the system time by using the TNOW() function the flash-debugger shows that VC is sending a Date like 31.12.1989 or 20.01.2009. It also makes no difference if I change the Formatting of the input field I alredy tried the most of them.
I'm really sure that the input fields are declared as Time (E).
    I'm thankfull for any advice...

This means you're still using Flex 1.5 as your runtime. SAP has introduced Flex 2 RT on SP14 patch 1 onwards. There were a lot of bug fixes and also several new functionality introduced there. I suggest you consider upgrading to the latest SP. Note that you can upgrade VC apart from the portal (only 3 SCAs to deploy) so this means you don't impact the portal itself and continue to have an up-to-date version of VC.
If you want to solve your problem, I suggest you open a support ticket at SAP and once they see this, they'll let you have those SCAs.

    Natty

  • Implementation of Note 80183 for Rounding: "QTY * Net Price = Net Value"

    Dear All.
We're reviewing adding in note 80183 to handle some rounding issues.
Basically, our "QTY * Net Price = Net Value" is not adding up due to some rounding in determining the Net Price off the Net Value.
The note looks like the right answer, and there are already some very good threads posted on this topic.
What I'm hoping to find though is if someone has implemented the note, and what they found?
    (1) Any issues encountered?  Any impact to other functionality - Credit Checks, etc....
    (2) Any additional changes needed to the alternative calculation type or alternative base value provided?
    (3) Any additional requirements or customizations needed?
    (4) Any issues with Account Assignment posting, or output (invoice or order confirmation)?
    (5) General feedback on how easily implemented.
    Many thanks!

    HI,
The note: 1668972 - ME 083: Enter Net Price for value contract w. future dates has been modified in Jan 2014 and the correction instruction for even EHP 6 is included. Please check whether the correction instruction 1417190 already exists in your system. If not, apply the note.
If you are getting the same error even after applying the note, you may raise an OSS ticket to SAP.

  • Unable to throw 'Error: A value is required' on a field from bean

Scenario: I have an input text field and a button on a page. The input text is not required initially. I want this to be set to required after the button is clicked. So, I am doing this on the action listener of the button and returning to the page. This just returns to the page but does not throw the required error. The error is thrown the second time I click on the button(No listeners are called this time as the required property is already set). I want the error message to display immediately after clicking the button, the first time(after returning from the bean).
    Options Tried:
I used the following in the action listener of the bean
setValueMandatory(true); //Used this as a binding value for the required property on the input field
textValue.setValid(false); //textValue is my input text's binding to the bean
    textValue.validate(facesContext);
    textValue.processUpdates(facesContext);
    textValue.processValidators(facesContext);
    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(textValue);
    FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().renderResponse();
I am able to focus on the field using the cursor but unable to throw the message. Clearly, some form submit or an action need to occur on the page to render the response(or, repaint the page programmatically). But, how do I do this from the bean?
    Jdev Version: 11.1.1.4

    Divya,
Have you tried passing the Component instead of null in my previous code?

  • Dashboard Prompt using values not from the table

    Hi,
I have a requirement from the client to design a dashboard report like the following.
Dashboard prompt will have 4 filters, three filters come from the table, but the fourth filter will have 3 values not from the table. The fourth filter will have values like "Report with Sales Amount", "Report with Purchase Amount", "Report with both Purchase and Sales". I have three different Table reports designed for each of the fourth filter choices. But how do I implement it, both in the dashboard prompt as well as navigating to the rite report based on the selection.
    Is my approach correct.
Thanks for your time and help.

The fourth prompt where you have "Report with Sales Amount", "Report with Purchase Amount", "Report with both Purchase and Sales" you pull a dummy column into the prompt and write a sql in show.
    would be something like
SELECT Case when 1=0 then "Dimension- Customer"."Cust Name" else 'Report with Sales Amount' end FROM Sales UNION SELECT Case when 1=0 then "Dimension- Customer"."Cust Name" else 'Report with Purchase Amount' end FROM Sales
and in the prompt set a presentation variable say var_criteria
Now create report2 for with a some randomn column and another column will have the values that you want to display for example 'Report with Sales Amount'
Create a filter on the 2nd column and reference the presentation variable var_criteria and default it to 'Report with Sales Amount'
On the dashboard page in the section place the report and enable guided navigatoin by selecting report 2.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
    thanks,
    deep
