Condition Limit  per material group

Hi all,
This is Puneet here, I have a requirement from  customer to control manual changes for a condition type with sum tolerance % that is based on the material group.
However i can maintain upper limit or lower limit for a condition type but that doesn't serve my problem as for the same condition type for diffrent material groups the value is diffrent.
The other way around is to maintain upper and lower limit for each condition record but that will be a cumbersome procedure for client.
Is there any other way???
Do reply ASAP am stuck.

Hi Riyaz,
Well the process you are saying is fine .. infact i have mentioned that its a work around but let me explain u my question with an example:
Lets take an example of two bikes Pulsar and Karizma
Now i sell spare parts of both the bikes and i have a lower limit for each spare part and i maintain that in my records but my upper limit varies like 105% of lower limit in case of pulsar spare parts and 110% in case of karizma.
So i have to define sumwhere these 5% and 10 %(or 105 or 110) as per the material group.
I hope you understand this time.
If not do ask me for any other update.
Regards
Puneet

We had a Small problem Where while Running Info Records Per Material Group(T-code ME1W ) Standard Report the Report is not Showing any output in PRD, where else running Info Records Per Material (T-Code ME1M ) Standard Report the Output is getting Displayed.
Our System is Currently SAP EEC 6.0 & Application Package SAP_APPL is of release 604     & Level 0007, Highest Support Package is SAPKH60407.
is this Issue covered in Some OSS Note?

    Hi,
The info-records for the materials which appears in the standard report ME1M/ME1L is different from the one which appear in ME1W.
If you try with the material groups of the ME1L or ME1M info-records it wont be displayed in ME1W.
ME1W will display only the info-records which are created @ material group level.
i.e. try to create a new info-record using ME11 without entering material, in the general data screen you have to enter the material group & other parameters.
Now once you save this info-record,same will appear in ME1W.
    Hope its clear.

  • Multiple PO's per material group for same vendor in ME59 / ME59N

    HI ,
    We have following issue
    We create PO's automatically from PR's using ME59 .
PR's are Stock Transport Requisitions for intercompany STO.
in ME59 , options active are Per Plant / Per Vendor Sub Range( Vendor sub range is active but no values maintained )
When we create a PO , then system does not consolidate all items in single PO even if Plant is same . It actually creates a different PO based on Material Group in a line item .
It groups all line items with similar material group in single PO .
What is the issue with material group .
is it not possible to have different line items with different material groups in a single PO in above scenario.
    Pls. help.

    Ajit ,
That is what I enquired , where do we do this assignment , i.e. Material group to PR document type
I do not know where to do this assignment .

  • Freight Condition as per material

    Hi,
My requirement is that I want to create a Automatic Freight Condition based on three different types of material like
    Tyre , Tube and Flap.
Which field to select in table so that i can capture freight based on Tyre, Tube and Flap.
Just to tell I cannt use material code as there could be so many types of tyres, tubes and flaps.
    Regard
    Gaurav

    Dear Gaurav,
For your requirment you can take Material group as a key field and maintain the freight Condition record for this.

  • Scope of List in ME3M, Vendor List per Material Group

    Dear Experts,
In ME3M, ME3L or ME3C, Can we define one of the criterias in F4 list of the scope of list as PR (Non-Service) only during searching Purchasing Documents?
Is it possible to adapt material group and vendor list  with corresponding validity period as master record?
Thanks in advance if anybody can enlight me.
    With Records,
    Subhro

    hi,
    As said above,
Neither i can see hw can i add PR (non-services), hw to add material group parameter nor vendor / date parameter to get added into scope of list....
I don't think its possible from above given link...
better you use the material group, vendor or doc. date entried in the main screen of ME2M and refine your search....

  • Limit material group by material type

    Hello experts,
When creating a material by tcode mm01 I would like to limit the material groups by material type, as it happens with valuation class.
It is possible? How can I achieve this behaviour?
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi JP,
You cant control this, since material groups are floating entities with no dependancies. You have to either create a screen variant in SHD0 (this doesnt support for a particular material type)  or chk with your ABAPer to wrte a code to achieve this.

  • Material group in Material master

    Shamulheq
I am a little unclear of your requirements.
SET/GET parameters (from 'user profile own data') generally only work when the field is displayed on a selection screen for a program.  The parameter will then automatically populate the field on the selection screen.
As it happens, the two parms WGR and WM1 you mentioned are not used by any programs that I can see.
MM04 does not contain material group, assigning a set/get parm to your userid wouldn't change much anyway.
If you are talking about making it easier for your users to select a material, based on materials assigned to a material group, then you could try the F4 help on Material 'L - Material by Material group'  Here, you could enter the MatGrp and then have  displayed a list of the materials that are assigned to that group.  From this list the user could select the appropriate material.
If you are talking about pre-populating the Material Group field in ME51 (probably other screens as well), try using parameter MKL in your user parameters.  You should log off/log on after changing a SET/GET parameter to see the effect.
If you are talking about PREVENTING a user from displaying materials outside of a particular MatGrp, then you should consult with your authorization team to see if they can provide a solution.

  • MM-SRV: Adopt Material Group from Service Master instead of default in SPRO

At my current client we are encountering a problem when creating requisitions for services.  When the system was originally configured years ago, a default value for material group was entered in the IMG under:
Logistics > Materials Management > External Services Management > Source Determination and Default Values > For Client
Field is "Default material group at item level" (V_T165-MATKL)
Up to now this singular default value was fine because they only had one material group for services.  They are now wanting to further stratify their services spend, so there are now several additional values for Material Group that can (and are) used among their service master records.  Having a single default value for Material Group is resulting in incorrect reporting of spend per Material Group.
I removed the default value in the config node stated above, but now the problem is that when creating a requisition line for services (item category D) in ME51N, no value for Material Group comes in at all, resulting in an error because Material Group is a mandatory field.  Making the field optional on the Field Selection Groups is not a valid solution, as they need Material Group for spend reporting.
What we really need is for the Material Group to be automatically copied over from the service master data, in the same manner that this takes place for the material group contained in a material master.
    Is this possible?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jason

    Hi,
    Hi,
    1) If service master is used in the PO item, then the system will take the
material group from the service master (AC01).
    2) If no service master is maintained then the system will take the
material group from the table T023. To be able to change this material group on services level - if you want a different material group on services level, you must set the field ESLL-MATKL for visible in the table control settings, and the change of the service group must be carried out manually.
Please be advised that it is the standard behaviour that the material
group on service level is not updated automatically after you have
changed the material group on purchasing level. The material group on
service level must be adjusted manually.
    3) By default for service lines the system will consider the material
group which is entered at the Item level.
Services can have different material groups, therefore you can change
the material group at service level. The material group in service line
can be different and always takes higher priority from the material
    group at the item level.

  • Regarding Condition record in CRM using field MATKL (Material Group)

    Hi All
Currently we are working in SAP CRM 5.2 and it has been connected with backend ECC 6.0.
This scenario is about Pricing which has been maintained in ECC and inturn flows to CRM with few filters in place.
There are few customized Condition Tables in ECC with combination of Sales org./ material group for which discount has been maintained.  A proper condition record is also available for this Condition table and it has been assigned to a access sequence and inturn assigned to a condition type.
All these procedures, condition types, access sequence has flown from ECC to CRM.  And all the condition tables are active in IMG (Basic Functions / Pricing / Define Settings for Pricing / Create Condition Tables)
    When i check in

    Application - CRM,
    Maintenance group - PRODDISCOU,
    Maintenance context - GCM

  • IPC: Condition Types attached to material group

    Hello all,
I am working in a ECC - IPC scenario and needed your help.
I implemented a IPC userexit(scale base formula) which corresponds to a condition type ZDCV which implements a discount for the products.
When this condition type is attached to a material (in tcode vk11), the corresponding discount rates are displayed in the webshop via IPC.
But the problem arises when we attach this condition type to a material group.
In the product catalog of the webshop, the IPC is able to determine discounts for individual materials but not for those materials contained in material group.
Your inputs will be very helpful.
    Thanks and Regards
    Deepika

I think you have to do some logic in that userexit... you have to get the whole quantity of material group and have to pass that value in the scale base formula..
    Thanks and Regards

  • Assigning Material Group per User

    Hi SAP Experts! =)
Pls Help! does anybody have an idea how can I assign a Material Group per User. This is for authorization purposes. What I just know, is to Assign just one Material Group per user through Parameter ID MKL. This will only solve my problem if a User will only have access for a Single Material Group.
Do you know a way how to Assign access for Multiple Material Groups? I would want to use this for the PR/PO process, so a User will only purchase Materials under his/her assigned Material Groups. =)
    Mik

    HI,
Usually we give a star symbol for the authorisation object of material groups means the user is authorised for all the material groups.
In case if you want to give multiple material groups for the user then we have to specify the material groups instaed of the star symbol.
You can check the users authorisaion against the user ID in tcode SUIM.(Users with complex selection)
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Duty calculation for import PO for a specific material group

    Hi All,
As per company requirement, we need to do changes in duty calculation for import PO for a specific material group.
Current scenario :  Currently  duty calculating on MRP with abatement  35% ( We have ABTT condition @ 35% of MRP).
    For example:
    Material: ABC , Basic Price = 1000, MRP = 2000 and duty is 10%
    Duty  Amt = 2000(MRP) - 700(35% ABTT) *10%(Duty) = 130
    Cess 2 % = 2.6
    Ecess 1 % = 1.3
    Total duty =  133.9
This duty (133.9) paid to custom vendor and loads in material cost.
New Requirement:  For vendor payment purpose duty should be calculate as above but  for material cost should be calculated on Basic price.
    For Example:
    Material: ABC , Basic Price = 1000, MRP = 2000 and duty is 10%
    Duty  Amt = 1000(BP) *10%(Duty) = 100
    Cess 2 % = 2
    Ecess 1 % = 1
Total duty =  103 ( It should load in Material cost)
    New Condition Diff Duty Amt = (1300-1000)*10% = 30
    Cess 2 % = .6
    Ecess 1 % = .3
Diff Duty Amt = 30.9 ( It should not be added in material Cost)
    Paid to custom vendor = 103 + 30.9 = 133.9
Kindly suggest how to achieve this.
    Regards
    Jitendra

    Hi,
Please check whether the requirement is logical or not.  Did you check the requirement with your accounts team?
If you have different duty calculation for MIGO and MIRO, how the GL accounts will get balanced? As of my understanding, the requirement is clearly not logical.
