Condition on a text is corrupting the output of a smartform

Hello Everybody,
I put a condition as advised ( int_sal-sal = 0 or int_sal-kondt = 0.)but it is corrupting the output of the form , headers are coming in one page and headers in middle of the form.
Why is that ?
Thanks

Hello Mr Ravi
I want employee's salary  field ( not its contents ) to be hidden when the employee's salary is 0. or his contract start date / end date should not be displayed when they are initial , As advised i placed int_salary-sal in conditions tab of the text node but then its corrupting the output of the form ,
Thanks

    Thnaks,
    Suresh.

    Hi,
    B1 - BARCODE CHARACTER FORMAT
    A1- DEFAULT CHARACTER FORMAT.
    In smart form define a template with two rows,
    in first row u pass barcode value( mat no ) with barcode character fomat.
    <B1>&MATNO&</>
    in second row define  barcode value(mat no ) in ordinary charcter format.
    <A1>&MATNO&</>

  • ByteArrayInputStream as source for zip file entry corrupts the ByteArray

    Hi All,
    I have managed to create and add a (in-memory) zip file as an email attachment. I add a file to the zip file , then push data to this file via a ByteArrayInputStream.
    Adding the file (created via ByteArrayInputStream) to an email works perfectly. If i then add another step and zip this file it corrupts the output.
    It looks like it is turning the carriage return into a [] . Its 'almost right' as when I cut & paste the contents of the txt file i created (from the zip file) into Word it displays correctly, with the carriage returns. Is it some kind of encoding problem, or mime type issue?
    My ByteArrayInputStream uses buf.append("\n"); for carriage returns. I think the problem is with
    ByteArrayInputStream baIn = new  ByteArrayInputStream( getAttachementNoFormat(eq_rt.getStoredProc()) );where I think i need to encode this somehow. Here is the complete code to create and add the zip file to an email. Any isuggestions will be appreciated.
    //START of new ZIP code
                                                                                             /* Specify files to be zipped */

  • How can I get the "text" field from the actionEvent.getSource() ?

    I have some sample code:
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    import java.util.ArrayList;
    public class JFrameTester{
         public static void main( String[] args ) {
              JFrame f = new JFrame("JFrame");
              f.setSize( 500, 500 );
              ArrayList < JButton > buttonsArr = new ArrayList < JButton > ();
              buttonsArr.add( new JButton( "first" ) );
              buttonsArr.add( new JButton( "second" ) );
              buttonsArr.add( new JButton( "third" ) );
              MyListener myListener = new MyListener();
              ( (JButton) buttonsArr.get( 0 ) ).addActionListener( myListener );
              ( (JButton) buttonsArr.get( 1 ) ).addActionListener( myListener );
              ( (JButton) buttonsArr.get( 2 ) ).addActionListener( myListener );
              JPanel panel = new JPanel();
              panel.add( buttonsArr.get( 0 ) );
              panel.add( buttonsArr.get( 1 ) );
              panel.add( buttonsArr.get( 2 ) );
              f.getContentPane().add( BorderLayout.CENTER, panel );
              f.setDefaultCloseOperation( JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE );
              f.setVisible( true );
         public static class MyListener  implements ActionListener{
              public MyListener() {}
              public void actionPerformed( ActionEvent e ) {
                   System.out.println( "hi!! " + e.getSource() );
                   // I need to know a title of the button (which was clicked)...
    }The output of the code is something like this:
    hi! javax.swing.JButton[,140,5,60x25,alignmentX=0.0,alignmentY=0.5,
    border=javax.swing.plaf.BorderUIResource$CompoundBorderUIResource@1ebcda2d,
    flags=296,maximumSize=,minimumSize=,preferredSize=,defaultIcon=,disabledIcon=,
    disabledSelectedIcon=,margin=javax.swing.plaf.InsetsUIResource[top=2,left=14,bottom=2,
    right=14],paintBorder=true,paintFocus=true,pressedIcon=,rolloverEnabled=true,
    rolloverIcon=,rolloverSelectedIcon=,selectedIcon=,text=first,defaultCapable=true]
    I need this: "first" (from this part: "text=first" of the output above).
    Does anyone know how can I get the "text" field from the e.getSource() ?

    System.out.println( "hi!! " + ( (JButton) e.getSource() ).getText() );I think the problem is solved..If your need is to know the text of the button, yes.
    In a real-world application, no.
    In a RW application, a typical need is merely to know the "logical role" of the button (i.e., the button that validates the form, regardless of whether its text is "OK" or "Save", "Go",...). Text tends to vary much more than the structure of the UI over time.
    In this case you can get the source's name (+getName()+), which will be the name that you've set to the button at UI construction time. Or you can compare the source for equality with either button ( +if evt.getSource()==okButton) {...}+ ).
    All in all, I think the best solution is: don't use the same ActionListener for more than one action (+i.e.+ don't add the same ActionListener to all your buttons, which leads to a big if-then-else series in your actionPerformed() ).
    Eventually, if you're listening to a single button's actions, whose text change over time (e.g. "pause"/"resume" in a VCR bar), I still think it's a bad idea to rely on the text of the button - instead, this text corresponds to a logical state (resp. playing/paused), it is more maintainable to base your logic on the state - which is more resilient to the evolutions of the UI (e.g. if you happen to use 2 toggle buttons instead of one single play/pause button).

  • Looping the complete page in Smartforms

    Hi,
    How can I loop the entire page in smartforms which contain multiple windows?

    Hi Shah Kunal
    A Simple Smartform Tutorial
    SAP Smartforms can be used for creating and maintaining forms for mass printing in SAP Systems. The output medium for Smartforms support printer, fax, e-mail, or the Internet (by using the generated XML output).
    According to SAP, you need neither have any programming knowledge nor use a Script language to adapt standard forms. However, basic ABAP programming skills are required only in special cases (for example, to call a function module you created or for complex and extensive conditions).
    1. Create a new smartforms
    Transaction code SMARTFORMS
    Create new smartforms call ZSMART
    *2. Define looping process for internal table  *
             Pages and windows *
    First Page -> Header Window (Cursor at First Page then click
    Edit -> Node -> Create) *
    Here, you can specify your title and page numbering
    &SFSY-PAGE& (Page 1) of &SFSY-FORMPAGES(Z4.0)&*   (Total Page)*
    *Main windows -> TABLE -> DATA  *
    In the Loop section, tick Internal table and fill in
    ITAB1 (table in ABAP SMARTFORM calling function) INTO ITAB2
    3. Define table in smartforms
               lobal settings :
               Form interface
               Variable name    Type assignment   Reference type
               ITAB1               TYPE                  Table Structure
               Global definitions
               Variable name    Type assignment   Reference type
               ITAB2               TYPE                  Table Structure
    4. To display the data in the form
        Make used of the Table Painter and declare the Line Type in Tabstrips Table
         e.g.  HD_GEN for printing header details,
                 IT_GEN  for printing data details.
         You have to specify the Line Type in your Text elements in the Tabstrips Output options.
          Tick the New Line and specify the Line Type for outputting the data.
          Declare your output fields in Text elements
          Tabstrips - Output Options
          For different fonts use this Style : IDWTCERTSTYLE
          For Quantity or Amout you can used this variable &GS_ITAB-AMOUNT(12.2)&
    5. Calling SMARTFORMS from your ABAP program
    REPORT ZSMARTFORM.
    Calling SMARTFORMS from your ABAP program.
    Collecting all the table data in your program, and pass once to SMARTFORMS
    SMARTFORMS
    Declare your table type in :-
    Global Settings -> Form Interface
    Global Definintions -> Global Data
    Main Window -> Table -> DATA

  • Text element is not getting printed in the output

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to print address from table KNA1in address window through a text element.
    The corresponding code being :
    In Delivery Prg,
    Data : lv_kna1 type STANDARD TABLE OF kna1,
              lv_adr6 type STANDARD TABLE OF adr6.
    DATA : WA_ADR6 TYPE ADR6.
      SELECT SINGLE * FROM KNA1 WHERE KUNNR = VBPA-KUNNR.
      SELECT SINGLE * FROM ADR6 INTO WA_ADR6 where ADDRNUMBER = kna1-adrnr.
    CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
    EXPORTING
       ELEMENT                        = 'DELIVERY_ADDRESS'
       WINDOW                         = 'DELIVADR'
    and calling the same text element 'DELIVERY_ADDRESS' as follows in the Script:
    /E           DELIVERY_ADDRESS
    /:           IF &LV_KNA1-TELF1& <> &SPACE&
    IL           Tel.: &LV_KNA1-TELF1&
    /:           ENDIF
    /:           IF &LV_KNA1-TELFX& <> &SPACE&
    IL           Fax : &LV_KNA1-TELFX&
    /:           ENDIF
    /:           IF &LV_ADR6-SMTP_ADDR& <> &SPACE&
    IL           E-mail : &LV_ADR6-SMTP_ADDR&
    /:           ENDIF
    But,this text element is not printing in the output.
    Any pointer on this would be of great help.
    Regards,
    Vamsee Priya.

    yes, it is.
    I'm trying to get the e-mail address from adr6 table with the corresponding address number  from table kna1.
    so I created two tables as below:
      Data : lv_kna1 type STANDARD TABLE OF kna1,
             lv_adr6 type STANDARD TABLE OF adr6.
    DATA : WA_ADR6 TYPE ADR6.
      SELECT SINGLE * FROM KNA1 WHERE KUNNR = VBPA-KUNNR.
      SELECT SINGLE * FROM ADR6 INTO WA_ADR6 where ADDRNUMBER = kna1-adrnr.
    now, I'm trying to fill e-mail adress from lv_adr6. but the problem is lv_adr6 is not getting filled.
    data is coming to work area wa_adr6.
    SAP is not allowing me to write the below statement:
    SELECT SINGLE * FROM ADR6 INTO LV_ADR6 where ADDRNUMBER = kna1-adrnr.
    Now, will any move-corresponding statement from work area to its table works?? Is that logically correct??

  • How to assign the output of a function to a text area: a PLSQL challenge

    I have a function that returns a PLSQL table of varchar4(4000)
    Here is its signature in a package:
    create or replace package researcher_request_pk
    is
    TYPE query_table_type is table of varchar2(4000) index by binary_integer;
    FUNCTION RequestSQL(P_RRQ_ID in number) return query_table_type;
    end;
    I use this to get around the 32k limit on clobs and varchar2 variables
    I want to assign the output of the function to a text area. I've tried the following PLSQL in a dynamic action and also as the source attribute of the Text Area but it doesn't populate the text area.
    Here is the code i'm using
    declare
    v_table researcher_request_pk.query_table_type;
    begin
    v_table:=researcher_request_pk.RequestSQL(:P64_RRQ_ID);
    for i in 1..v_table.count loop
    htp.prn(v_table(i));
    end loop;
    end;
    Any ideas on the correct syntax to do this?
    thanks in advance
    PaulP

    Thanks for your reply
    The function does populate the PLSQL table with data. e.g. If I place that exact code in a PLSQL region it generates the output on the screen with no problems. The problem is just generating the output into the text area.
    I want the text area to display the output of the PLSQL table (-a dynamic select SQL statement) which I then plan to execute to return records.( i.e. I've build my own runtime query builder)
    My plan is to allow the user to edit the SQL output first before sending the statement for execution.
    Funnily enough I do get the very first word of the first cell appearing, namely 'SELECT' but nothing else. Maybe the "||" that follows has something to do with the rest of it not appearing?? hmmm... will experiment more.
    thanks

    Instead of writing BDC for T-code SM65 I would suggest you to use following function module to get the required data.
          CALL FUNCTION 'BPT_ANALYSE_START'
            EXPORTING
              server_name            = servername_tmp
              check_all_btc_servers  = sbpt1020-allsrvchk
              profile_check          = sbpt1020-profilechk
              xpgm_environment_check = sbpt1020-xpgmcheck
            TABLES
              protocol_tbl           = global_protocol_tbl
            EXCEPTIONS
              OTHERS                 = 99.
    Once you got the data into "global_protocol_tbl " you can create spool of it.

  • How to convert the output of Applescript which is in object format to text or string format??

    Hi All,
    I want to convert the output of Applescript which is in object format to string or text format, am running Applescript with Java, I need to display the output of applescript in Eclipse Java Console, since its object format the output is not properly displayed..
    Pls suggest.. I used the below code
    repeat with i in allContents
                if class of i is button then set the end of allStaticText to contents of i
            end repeat
    Applscript ouptput
    {button 1 of window "Player Installer" of application process "Install  Player" of application "System Events", button 2 of window "Player Installer" of application process "Install  Player" of application "System Events", button 3 of window "Player Installer" of application process "Install  Player" of application "System Events", button "Finish" of UI element 1 of scroll area 1 of window "Player Installer" of application process "Install  Player" of application "System Events"}
    Java output
    <NSAppleEventDescriptor: 'obj '{ 'form':'indx', 'want':'butT', 'seld':1, 'from':'obj '{ 'form':'name', 'want':'cwin', 'seld':'utxt'(" Player Installer"), 'from':'obj '{ 'form':'name', 'want':'pcap', 'seld':'utxt'("Install  Player"), 'from':'null'() } } }>

    Here's an improved version of the previous script, where the handler now returns "button 2 of window \"Untitled\" of application process \"TextEdit\" of application \"System Events\"" instead of "button \"2\" of window \"Untitled\" of application process \"TextEdit\" of application \"System Events\"":
    tell application "System Events"
        get button 2 of window 1 of process "TextEdit"
        my objectToText(result) --> "button 2 of window \"Untitled\" of application process \"TextEdit\" of application \"System Events\""
    end tell
    on objectToText(UI_element)
        set theText to ""
        tell application "System Events"
            repeat
                if exists attribute "AXParent" of UI_element then
                    set theParent to value of attribute "AXParent" of UI_element
                    set theClass to class of UI_element
                    if name of UI_element exists then
                        set theName to name of UI_element
                        set theText to theText & (theClass as text) & " \"" & theName & "\" of "
                    else
                        set k to 0
                        get UI elements of theParent whose class is theClass
                        repeat with thisItem in result
                            set k to k + 1
                            if contents of thisItem is UI_element then exit repeat
                        end repeat
                        set theIndex to k
                        set theText to theText & (theClass as text) & " " & theIndex & " of "
                    end if
                    set UI_element to theParent
                else
                    set theClass to class of UI_element
                    set theName to name of UI_element
                    set theText to theText & (theClass as text) & " \"" & theName & "\" of application \"System Events\""
                    exit repeat
                end if
            end repeat
        end tell
        return theText
    end objectToText

    Take a fixed frame inside the purchase order master repeating frame and place your terms and condition inside the fixed frame.
    Hope this helps

  • Text need to be added in the packign list of the output

    *We had an issue to add the text for the packign list output type ZL10.*
    *This is required for only one customer.*
    *I had tried to add the text manually in the delievry level and tried to print but it didn't work.*
    *It is printing for the delivery note not for packing list.*
    *Need help on this issue.*
    *your valuable post will be very helpfull for me.*

    Hi,
    From the transaction NACE, get the print program attached to your output type "ZL10". If you can read the code, please set a break point and see how it is determined in the delivery note output. Then check why it is not coming for your packing note.
    If not ask your ABAP developer to check same for you!
    Best regards,

  • How to write the output of an SQL query to a text file?

    I am using Oracle 11g and SQL plus.
    I have a large table called rating.
    Whenever I do
    SQL> select * from rating;
    The output goes much beyond what the SQL Plus screen can show. I want to therefore store the output of this query into a text file.
    How can this be done? Please help. Thanks.

    SQL> SPOOL results.txt
    SQL> select * from rating;
    SQL> SPOOL OFF

  • Ok so i'm trying to do a conditional format on numbers if (cell a2) = greater than or text then make the same cell or another cell do something. Does anybody knows how to do that on numbers. thanks.

    hi I'm from Italy.
    ok so i'm trying to do a conditional format on numbers if "a cell" = greater than or text then make the same cell
    or another cell do something like insert a number or change color.
    Does anybody knows how to do that on numbers?. thanks.

    Among the things you'll learn from the User Guide:
    Conditional formatting can be used to change the style of the text in a cell and/or the fill colour of the cell.
    A formula may be used to set the value in a cell. In both cases, the format rule or the formula affects only the cell to which the rule is attached or which contains the formula. Neither values or formats may be 'pushed' onto another cell.

  • Web Browser in the output of Report and save the text entered in browser

    Hi All,
    I am having a requirement that i has to show the web browser in the output of the basic list and i has to save the text entered in the web browser and not the URL.
    For example.
    if i am displaying the web browser in the basic list of my report.
    i am having a field to give the URL and i will the give the URL as WWW.GOOGLE.COM and press enter, then the web page will be loaded in the basic list. i am entering some text in the search area .
    let the text may be "SAP-ABAP".
    now i has to save the text "SAP-ABAP" in to my database.
    So , if you have any suggestions please reply to this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Phani.

    Of course there is not going to be any specific example which has been taylored to your exact requirement, which is why you should be looking outside the box.  The reason I suggested that program is so that you can see how to allow the user to access a web page and enter a value, and then allow the application server to access this value, which of course can then be stored on the database.
    As for you exact requirement, if you are looking to specifically throw a browser with www.google.com in the browswer and have the user enter a value in the search, and then expect that this value be returned to the application which was entered, I don't see a clean/easy way to do this.  Why? Because once the user is veiwing google in the browser, it is now out of your control, because that page is not running on your server.  Not if google had some API, that would be a different story.
