In the Configuration settings for a Condition type we have various options under the section manual chnages priorority, where we have settings like Free, manual chnages have priority, automatic entry has priority, manually cannot be chnaged etc. Can you explain importance of these settings with some examples?

  • Condition Type for Rebate

    Hello All
I am in the process of configuring the rebate processing in our system...this is my first experience...we are on ECC7.0...I am follwing the Rebate Processing configuration guide but I have a few questions...
    My requirement is the following
Order volume fully paid.... the following will apply
    <$500,000  credit percentage is 3%
    >500,000 and <  credit percentage is 3.75
    etc....
In the condition type configuration under control data I am confused of the calculation type to use and the condition category as well...I am using condition type Material Rebate, but have also added all the condition types related to Rebate...just in case.
There will be no manual payments or partial settlements.  The rebate is due at end of year of all fully paid items.
If there is shipments that are due but will not be during the annual term and it exceeds the lets say 1,000,000 since he credit percentage would be 6% in this case....after the review of the rebate agreement then the discount for  the following year will be set at the appropriate percentage and will begin at $1.
For example if the total sales during this term are 1.2 million the the credit percentage for the following year would be 6% for all the sales the following year beginning at $1...sales for the annual term of 1.2 million would equate to a rebate of 72,000 (6%).
Also, all material that is bought the customer receives a 3% discount on top of the above.
Will I need to also include condtion type groups???
    Your help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Hi Eric and thanks for your reply ....
If the Rebate is for a certain customer and they are having multiple materials for the rebate and can have channel partners that will also be a ship to party and rebate applies....I am thinking I need to use the 0002 condition type?  Please confirm.
That is the one I have chosen so far....I do not see the rebate condtion type being being pulled through the sales order on the condition tab...it wants to keep pulling in the pricing condtion table for that rebate material....any advice as to what I may have missed....I did follow the config guide...as stated before this is my first experience wit hrebates...
I can understand the invoice showing the accruals but how would I do the scale to know if the customer reaches a certain amount their rebate percentages would be different based on the paid invoice sales...
up to 500,000  paid would be A 3 percent discount
Over 500,000 would be a 3.75 percent discount
This is also on top of the standard 3 percent discount they are given on the material as a customer discount.
    Please advise....your assistance is appreciated

  • Condition types for Import Vendor not getting in Contract

    Hi,
In Contract Document if Import Vendor selected, for the Line items we are not getting the Import Pricing Condition types. Instead, we are getting the Local pricing condition types even if Import vendor schema maintained in Vendor Master.
We have found that Gross Price PB00 and PBXX are maintained for both Local and Import Pricing Procedures. In PB00 condition type configuration, Local Pricing Procedure is assigned in the field Pricing Procedure (V_T685A-KALSM).
But while creating the Purchase Order we are not facing this problem & we are getting respective Pricing Condition types based on the Vendor schema assigned in Vendor Master. And already till now more than 4 Lakhs of Purchase Order created.
Please let me know the solution to get Import Pricing Condition types in Contract for the line items.
    Thanks & regards,
    Datta

In Contract only basic price will be shown, other conditions and pricing procedure do not appear, becayse eventually the contract has to be released, which is nothing but creating a PO.
SAP Standard practice, Outline agreements (Contract and Scheduling areement) will not have pricing procedures, they will have only basic price and discounts conditons.
    Hope this anwers your question.
    Thanks & regards

  • Statistical condition type is not showing same value

    Dear All,
I have one issue related with pricing condition that i want to use one statistical condition type ZEM1 suppose 100 INR which is entered manually at the contract level for suppose 10 qty but when i am creating the First sales order for 5 qty with reference to contract ,the ZEM1 condition is copied 100 INR and in second sales order for remaining 5 qty it is distributed with quantity and showing value 50 INR.But my requirement is such that i want the condition value of ZEM1 should appeare as 100 INR from contract to billing level for every sales cycle. Is it any way to make the condition type such that it will have the same value suppose 100 INR from contract to billing doc for every sales orders.
I maintained the copying control pricing type as "D" for S.Doc to S.Doc.
    please suggest.
    thanks in advance

    Hello
Check the condition type configuration. in the calculation type give the indicator as B- Fixed amount
the copy control seems to be correct.
you can try above and revert
    hope this helps

  • Condition types in PO.

We have PO condition types configured to store value but the client wants it in percentage for some materials and vice versa. They don't want the configuration changed, what other option is there apart from manual entry after calculating? Say for instance the import duty is a value of 5000, the client says its 15%? Or vice versa?

    Hi,
Taking your example say you have import duty condition JCDB which is maintained in % age and you also want that you should be able to maintain the same in absolute.  so create another condition say ZCDB.
while creating pricing procedure add both the condition on the same step but different counter.
Say these conditions are available for step 20. Both will have same step but one of them will have counter 1 and other counter 2.
While making PO you may put a validation that only one of them is allowed and not both.
    Your comment
They don't want the configuration changed,
You must be having one condition type already in the system, so dont change configuration for that condition type but add new one which is missing  to the pricing procedure as above.

  • Can we attach requirement for manual condition type

    Hi,
    Pricing question....
ZOTH is the manual condition type
(The condition type configuration: - Manually editable, no access sequence attached )
(Pricing procedure : - No alternative calculation type attached)
Can I attach a requirement to ZOTH in the pricing procedure?
    Laxman

    hi,
we can very well have requirements for manual conditions also. Like we have standard requirement "2" Item with pricing and this is assigned to PN00 ( Net price ) condition which is a manual condition.
you can check in RVAA01 pricing proc. also

  • Condition type value rounding

    Hi Experts
I want to know about rounding of decimal in PO conditions. We have customised condition type like ZFRE in % and it is found that when PO is created i see  that ZFRE value is rounded i.e suppose if value is coming as 3.97 then the system takes automatically 4 and if value is 39.37 then the value becomes automatically 39. The decimal places dont appear in PO. I thought it is because of condition type configuration.
The ZFRE condition type has setting as:
    rounding rule - commercial(standard)
It is not set as rounding up or rounding down. How the values are not geting rounded?
    Thanks
    Dinakar

    Hi
From the above suggestion you cant round off the condition type as said. Use t.code OB90 and for your company code and currency and maintain 100 in the field 'Unit to be rounded up to'. But it is client level setting. Be careful while setting this.
Then go to your pricing procedure and assign Routine-17-Rounding as perT001R in Altcaltype field. Then create order. Your requirement will be solved.

  • Over- writting a condition type in sales order

    Hi
Our requirement is that in a sales order, we should be able to over write determined pricing for a condition type. We are able to do this also using option "manual entry has priority" in condition type configuration.
Now problem is coming when I replicate it to ECC. In this case over written value is redetermined. I have set middleware parameter so that manual entries are not redetermined on replication, and it is working fine for entries that are not over written but entered specifically manually.
Please help me in resolving this.
    Thanx in advance.
    Cheers

    Hi
In SPRO in SD Basic FnsPricing near to Condition type config we can set upper and lower limits for a condition type
Here you can try by inputting limits
This is basically for creating condition records only
I am not sure whether this will work for your manual condition type
    But you can try
    If this fails
    Check this link
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPLO/UserexitforRestrictingUserModifyingConditiontypeinSales+Order
In this  user exit you can do the coding as per your requirement
This link is for  different purpose
    But  this exit
    USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP in the include MV45AFZZ.
can be definately used to meet your requirement
You can maintain the ZEE table with upper and lower limits maintained and do the necessary coding

  • EK01 & EK02 Condition Type

    Dear Friends
In Sales Document type in Billing Section Condition Type Line Item=EK02 and
In Standard Pricing Procedure RVAA01 used EK01 and EK02 What is the use of it where it will affect?
    Please clarify my doubts
    Thanking You
    Arun

    Dear Customer,
    a describtion for EK01/EK02
The unit cost estimate is the planned cost of goods manufactured for the material to be sold. The estimate is calculated based on the materials you intend to use, the services you intend to carry out, and additional costs such as shipping and insurance. In addition, you can use cost items to calculate overhead surcharges. The unit cost estimate is calculated in Controlling (CO-PC). The cost estimate is then copied into the sales document and can be used for pricing or for calculating the profit margin.
    Condition type          Name                    Use
EK01               Individual Determination          Used as basis for pricing
EK02               Unit cost estimate u2013 statistical     Used to calculate profit margin
The condition type EK01 can be used as a basis for pricing a make-to-order item in a sales document. The system calculates the cost of manufacturing and copies the result as an EK01 condition type into the pricing screen of the sales document.
You can use the condition type EK02 to calculate the profit margin of a make-to-order item in a sales document. The system calculates the cost of manufacturing and copies the result as an EK02 condition type into the pricing screen of the sales document. The EK02 has no direct effect on pricing.
    2.     Settings in Customizing
Condition type configuration (for both EK01 and EK02)
    u2022     Basic configuration:
    Condition class      [KOAID]      B Prices
    Calculation type      [KRECH]     C Quantity
    Condition category      [KNTYP]     Q Costing
    u2022     No access sequence
u2022     EK01/EK02 can only use as item condition. Group condition flag should not be set.
    Pricing Procedure Configuration
u2022     EK01 and EK02 should be checked as manual in the pricing procedure since their value is not derived from SD condition records.
u2022     EK02 must be set as Statistical in the pricing procedure.
u2022     Subtotal value u201CBu201D should be assigned to the EK02 condition.

I hope that the information are helpful.

  • Where to configure Tax categories for tax related Condition types

    Hi all,
Could you pls let me know Where to configure Tax categories for tax relevant Condition types. (any tcode for this)
When we are creating condition records for tax relevant condition types then you have to assign tax classification for customer and tax classification for material....i am providing 1 and 1 for customer and material as well.....then assigning tax code....when trying to save this doc.... system throwing this error....Tax indicator 1 is not defined for use with condition type O012. This means for 1 we can't find tax categories maintained.
Please look into this and your help would be appreciable.....
    Thanks in advance....regards.....Diwakaran......

    Hi,
    1. First you need to create condition type eg : ZCST in V/06 by copying standard condition type for taxes MWST for output taxes.
    2. you need to assign this condition type to country eg:IN in OVK1 T-Code.
    3. Next you need to define Tax classification for customer eg : 1 in OVK3 T-Code and assign it to tax category (condition type : ZCST)
    4. Next you need to define Tax classification for material eg : 1 in OVK4 T-Code and assign it to tax category (condition type : ZCST)
    5. Maintain this tax classification in XD01 & MM01 T-Codes.

  • Configuring Condition Types - Pricing Date

    Greetings to all,
we are trying to change the way the price conditions are found by using a different date determination within the Condition Type. i am looking at the screen "change view condition type" for a specific condition type (doesn't matter which) and specifically looking at the section "control data 2" and field "Pricing Date". it has a number of choices within it, including 1) blank - standard 2) A - date of service 3) B - price date, and so on. i have determined that this field v_t685a-kprdt (pricing date) has a domain KPRDT and the options for this field are hard coded within the domain (value range).
my question, is there a way to configure this field so that i can use another date to key on the determination of the price condition?
my concern is not with the standard SD or FI price condition lookup, but with a bolt on (automotive). it uses this funcitonality and the document has other dates, some customer defined.
    please and thank you.

    Hi Erik
One option is to use the MV45AFZZ and in the form for KOMK
pass what ever date you want to KOMK-PRSDT.
Please try and this and let me know if this works.
    Thanks

  • Configuration of condition type..Urgent..

    Hi All,
Can anyone let me know the process of copying a new ZED1 from std Condtion type EDI(customer Expected Price) in sales order creation. Am an ABAPER. Like i got the req to modify the routine which is associated wid EDI and to build a new routine so that i can attach that to ZED1 without making changes to Std SAP Settings..
    Regards,
    Parvez.

Have got an obj on SD. Its an enhancement. I need to change standard routine. I know the routine. But the thing is that where sud i write that routine after modifying the standard routine.
The std routine is associated wid a std condition type EDI1(Customer Expected Price) and this EDI1 has to b copied to new condition type i.e., ZEDI1. As i told u earlier that EDI is associated with routine # 9 (frm_kondi_wert_009). I think, after configuring this new ZED1, the new routine has to attached to it... but i dont know how it sud be?? and Where this new routine has to be written..
You can find the routine in VOFM tc Formulas --> Condition Value and the routine no# 9.
Configuration of New condition is done becoz we dont want to change the std settings of SAP.. Plz provide me steps for configuration too.. if u guys know..
My Question is Wher exactly we need to write a new routine and how?
I have made one approach in creating a new routine thru VOFM tc. Formulas -->Condition value and I entered new routine no. 909 and its description and pressed source code icon on the appl tool bar, hoping that i cud enter directly into the coding screen but system was askin the Access key, so i cudnt proceed further. I tried this in IDES.
Can u tell me whether i was right in doing so..?? If so, can u take me further into the processing....
And moreover in the configuration part, i think we have to do two steps as per my knowledge... like.. We first copy the std EDI to ZED1 and then we assign this condition type to ZED1.. Can u thru some more points on it...
Am bit confused.. can u guys help me out...
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Pricing procedure in configuring  condition type v/06

    Hi,
In the master data area of v/06,field pricing procedure...when i do a F1 - the explanation is as follows
+"The system uses the pricing procedure that you enter here to control the use of condition supplements in records of this condition type. You can apply the discounts that are defined in the pricing procedure as condition supplements during pricing."+
Can some please explain me what that means and  also please explain what
    " Procedure
Enter one of the predefined pricing procedures that control condition supplements. If you leave the field blank, the condition supplement function in the screens where you maintain the corresponding condition records is inactive." means?
    Thank You

    Hi,
If u not speciefied price procedure in condition type then at the time of maintaining condition record, it will in activate condition supplement feature.
You define price procedure, which contains one or more discount conditions.
