  • Condition types and value fields

    hi Gurus,
Can anybody please explain me what is condidion type and value field and the purpose of these two in costing??
    Regards,
    S.Sumana

    Dear Sumana,
Condition types and Value field conjuction is used in Profitability Analysis.
Condition type is an element in pricing procedure. For e.g price of the product consist of several things like base price, discount, tax, etc. so each compenent is called condition type.
Value fields are grouping of cost elements for e.g. you have created a cost element Sales revenue then all revenue cost elements which consist of revenue.
Condtion type Base Price is revenue which is mapped to value field Sales revenue. So as soon as the billing document is created value field is updated.
For more information on Profitability analysis please read the documentation provide in www.help.sap.com

  • Pricing - Manual Condition Type with value = 0

    Hi gurus,
I need to insert a manual condition type with value = 0 into the billing data set.
I realize that if its valiue is 0 it is not active.
Anyone knows how to make it active despite its value = 0?
    Thank you.

    Dear Customer,
if you have customized the condition as price then the condition will be inactive if the condition is set to zero.
    This is calling in:
    LV61AA55
inactivate prices with rate / condition value zero
          if xkomv-koaid eq 'B' and xkomv-kbetr eq 0 and komp-kposn ne 0 and
             xkomv-kgrpe eq ' ' and xkomv-kinak ca ' Y' and xkomv-kwert eq 0
             and xkomv-kntyp ne 'e' and komp-fareg na '45'.
            xkomv-kinak = 'X'.
          endif.
If you need an active condition with value zero, then the condition class should not be 'B' (price)
I hope that the information are helpful.
    regards

  • Change the Condition type to Value Field Assignment in KE4I

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where a condition type which has been assigned to a Value Field needs to be changed/re-assigned to a different value field.
There are already some postings into the current value field.
How can I handle these postings once I change the assignment in KE4I.
    Please help me.
    Thanks in advance,
    erp.warrior.

    Hi
Once you change in KE4I - It would impact only the subsequent postings... Historical postings wont be impacted...
If you want to impact them as well - Follow one of these 2 approaches
    a. Then reverse the billing documents which have posted to this Value Field.... Change KE4I and post them again...
    b. Do a KE21N upload i.e. a -ve amount on the Old value field and a +ve amount on the new value field

  • Manual conditions type - Net value effect

    Hello,
For some materials when I enter the manual condition type the system updates the net value immediately (without me clicking on the "update" button).
For some other materials when I enter the same manual condition type (in the same order type), I have to click on the "update" button for the net value to get affected.
Can anybody say where is the settings to control this?
    Thanks,
    Shankar

    Hello,
    Check the userexit: USEREXIT_NEW_PRICING_VBKD
    in the include MV45AFZB.
May be some code has been written, if you change price for specific Material Type then it should do 'B'   = Carry out new pricing.
    I hope this helps you..

  • Condition type - Freight value is copied into invoice from sales order

    Hi All,
I have a Issue while copying freight value  to Invoice.
I have created Freight condition type - XYZ where i have maintained "Group condition, Header condition & Item condition" in the definition of the condition type.
I have placed this condition type in Pricing Procedure (Ex: ABCD) and also in Delivery Pricing Procedure (PQRS) - Checked "Manual check box".
When i place this manual condition type in Delivery --> conditions tab(Item level), then it is copying to Invoice. However when I am placing this condition in Sales Order it is not copying into Invoice???
I have maintained copying control between delivery document and Billing document and I have maintained "Price Source" as E - Delivery/Order.
My requirement is when I am maintaining Freight value in delivery, then it has to consider the Delivery Freight..If freight is not maintained in Delivery then it has to copy from Sales Order?? Is it possible ?
Please help me in this regard.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
Thank you very much for your response.
If i used price source as "D" then other conditions like price & tax are not copied sales order. Freight value is copying from delivery. I want system has to consider the sales order in case of freight value Zero in delivery.

  • Manual pricing condition type in values in - BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE

    Hi Guys
I am using Function Module <b>BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE</b> to get the prices. I also want to enter a particular condition type for which i need price simulation. This is equal to <b>manually</b> entering the <b>condition type</b> , apart from  condition types determined automatically in VA01. Please let me how to go about this. Thanks .

    Hi,
If you want to enter header conditions, you have to use the fields:
    <b> ORDER_HEADER_IN-cd_type1    = 'ZVOL'.
        ORDER_HEADER_IN-cd_value1   = '1.0'.
        ORDER_HEADER_IN-cd_type2    = 'ZTAP'.
        ORDER_HEADER_IN-cd_value2   = '2.0'.</b>
If you want to enter item conditions:
    <b>
        ORDER_ITEMS_IN-cond_type  = 'ZTAT'.
        ORDER_ITEMS_IN-cond_value = '3.0'.
        ORDER_ITEMS_IN-cond_type2  = 'ZTUT'.
        ORDER_ITEMS_IN-cond_value2 = '5.0'.
    </b>
    I hope it helps you.

  • PO : Condition type ZB00/RB00 (Value) and NETPR NETWR value printing Zero

    Hi Experts,
I have created a Purchase Order line Item having the condition type ZB00(Value)
the values of NETPR and NETWR are reflecting in the screen and in the table EKPO
but when click on Print Priview the values of NETPR and NETWR are printing Zero.
Std Driver prog (SAPFM06P) and Std Form (MEDRUCK) is used .
But when condition types like ZA00 (Discount) the NETPR and NETWR values are populating in the tables and the values are
    printing in the Form.
Plz let me know why NETPR and NETWR values are printing Zero for condition types ZB00(value).
    Thanks
    and Regards

    Dear Divya ,
If the values are coming in tables and not in the print, then it will be issue with the fetch used in the smartform.
Take the help of ABAPer and check whether the field taken for print is the same.
    Check and revert back.

  • Puzzling condition type value

I am puzzled by this scenario
In the sales pricing procedure there is a condition type(for the sake of simplicity let's call it zabcd), this condition type has been assigned a routine in the column Alternative Condition base value (VOFM>Formulas>Condition base value)
This condition type(via abap code/routine) is picking the value of a condition record of condition type zefgh. My head went spinning when this condition type (zefgh) was not even found in the pricing procedure.
I was always under the impression that for a condition type's value to be picked up it necessarily had to exist in the pricing procedure.  Am I wrong somewhere? Please correct me.

With condition supplement, you can have values of condition types populating in your sales order, for cond types NOT in your pricing procedure.
The business example for this could be -
With PR00 (price) you shall always give KA00; thus in pricing procedure your give PR00 & NOT KA00, but you see the value of KA00 too.
To not include KA00 everytime in the pricing procedure concept of condition supplement is used.
KA00 is included in the pricing procedure assigned to PR00. So check in your condition type V/06, field "Pricing procedure". Then go to V/08 and go into that pricing procedure and search for ZEFG cond type.

  • Condition type in PO

    Hi Gurus,
I got an issue which I am uable to analyse.......please have a look and tell me how to approach
    There are two cases----
first one is Inter company PO
In a purchase order, there is a fright condition type(ZCCQ) which was given thrice
for first two , whatever the value was given , the system has taken for whole quantity ordered for the line item (for say u have given 718,920)
for third condition type the value which u entered is multiplied by the ordered quantity ( say we have given condition value 20, the total value was shown as 20 multiplied by the order quantity)
    Second one is stadard PO
    In standard PO----
the third condition type amount was entered in the header level  and this amount was splitted into the line item level that to there is no proper proportionate ratio i between the line items. for one line item the condition value is more and for another it is very less ( even though the ordered quantity is same)
my question is how the same condition type will act differently (once it is fixed....... after it is multiplied...... and after it was splitted....)in the same PO????????
I tried it in the testing server of the client by giving the condition type  3 times in the PO......., but it always multiplying wih the ordered quantity. I was not faced that problem
could you please analyse and tell me what could be  cause the differences in aove cases
I tried my best to tell the problem .......In case u r unable to understand at any point, please let me know, i will give in detail ifo
I am waiting for ur help

  • How to stop this multiple entry against same condition type in pricing

My client is using manual condition type for the basic price "ZBPR". Now system allowing multiple entry against this condition type in the pricing screen during order creation i.e in the first line if we put ZBPR 00 , in the second line system allowing to put another value against same ZBPR say for example 2000 & doing all subsequent calculations on the basis of 3000 .which is not at all acceptable by my client .Please suggest how to stop this multiple entry against same condition type

You have to make the condition type as Mandatory and not manual.
If you are entering many condition records of the ZPR0 then the latest entry will be taken for further processing for subtotal rebate and total price.
For all the other entered condition records will have yellow traffic signal which is not active.
you can assign a routine with the help pf your abaper...
In the Transaction VOFM  define a requirement such that
you condition type takes value only one at the time of order entry.

  • Expense condition type does not transfer to CO-PA

    Dear guru,
My client would like to post expense (ex. promotion expense) via sales order, then SD consultant create condition type and assign expense G/L to this condition type and I assign this condition type to value field via tcode KE4I. When we create sales order and use this condition type, value of this condition type is not transfered to the value field. I set cost element with category '1'. I know standard is not support for this situation. Please kindly to suggest me for solve the problem 'How do expense value of condition type from sales order will be transfered to CO-PA', example user exit or others.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Nattakarn.

    Hi
Changing the cost element category to 12 can be done only at the begining of the fiscal year as follows
But if promotional expenses is already created as a cost element with say category 1, now if you want too change it you might get an error KS134 Field change CElem Category is not possible (transaction data already exists)
Hence use TCode KA02, Edit->Analysis Period, Click other analysis period provide from begining of fiscal year to 12/31/9999.
You might have to create a new GL Account cost element if you want to go ahead with the changes in middle of the fiscal year

    Suraj
