Conector lightning (posible problema)

Buenos días.
Necesito que algun voluntario realice una prueba con su iPhone 5 mientras carga, para determinar si lo que me ocurre es algo normal o de lo contrario debo acudir a la garantia.
Lo que me ocurre lo descubrí de casualidad el otro dia al dejar cargando mi dispositivo de forma poco delicada sobre la mesa. Si mientras esta cargando mi terminal, le doy golpecitos en la parte trasera hace como micro-cortes en la carga, sonando incluso el ruidito que hacen cuando los conectas a cargar.
No tengo forma de comprobar si este comportamiento entra dentro de la normalidad o debo acudir a la garantia, por eso agradeceria que algún usuario del foro hiciera esas pruebas... ponerlo a cargar y darle unos golpecitos en la parte trasera del dispositivo, a ver si la carga se interrumpe durante una fraccion de segundo.

Lightning connector problem

I picked up my iPhone 5 yesterday and after getting it home and starting the long task of tranfering my thousands of songs onto the device, I noticed that there seems to a problem witht the Lightning connector. Most times when inserting the connector into the phone, there is no connection ie. no pluged in tone and unable to sync. I have found that by placing a slight downward pressure to the plug I can get it to start syncing, then after releasing the pressure it disconnects itself. I repeat, that this happens most, but not all of the time. Is anyone else noticing this or maybe I just need to try a new cable (which are not available in the HK apple store)

I have gone through about 3 lightning connector cables over the last year. They initially work, but later they go bad.
They start having the same symptoms described above where the cable will sometimes charge if you reverse it or press down on the cable. Over time, they just stop working. When connected via USB to my computer, I started getting an error message indicating that the device was not working properly and the computer stopped recognizing the device as an iPhone.
Replacing the cable fixed the problem, but I'm wondering if there is a way to get the non-functional cables to work again or maintain them so they last longer.
One thing I noticed is that over time the center gold connection wire turns black in color, as if it was burnt as the phone was charging. I tried using an eraser to get the black stuff off to no avail. I will try a Q-tip with alcohol next. Wish there was a documented quick fix or maintenance plan for keeping the cables functional.

Buenas, ayer se me hizo una pequeña grieta en el cable por la parte del conector que se pone en el telefono.
Y al despertarme, por la mañana, he visto que esta completamente rajado el plastico protector.
Es un cable defectuoso y puedo pedir el cambio?
Como debo proceder? No me creo que un cable de 30 euros se rompa por conectarlo al telefono. Con el antiguo cargador del iphone 4 no he tenido ningun problema despues de 3 años...

7970 Lightning BE Problem

So i may have celebrated a little to early hmm ..
I just received my 7970 Lightning BE .. PC turns on fine, can play video, ran a few bench marks ( sometimes ) .. but with a bench like fur mark, pc just shuts itself off .. I started with one power cable thats splits into two 8pins .. thought maybe there is 2 much for the one port on the psu to handle .. then tried 2 separate cables each coming from their own port .. pc still shuts down with to much stress .. i have also tried both bio's on the gpu .. I am either guessing its a problem with the card, or with the psu, though the psu did work perfectly with a 6870 .. Hoping someone can help ..

I have also uninstalled/reinstalled all software like catalyst/afterburner .

Lightning vga problem?

HI, I'm trying to use the official Apple lightning to vga adaptor in my iPhone 5, however whenever I plug it in I get a message saying that firmware download is in progress and I will be unable to use the accessory until complete. But the process never seems to complete and the adaptor doesn't worK. Any ideas? Thank you

I had the exact same problem yesterday. I found out I couldn't use a projector anymore, when it worked just fine last week.

MSI 580GTX Lightning XE Problems

I have had my card since before Christmas 2011 and have just started noticing problems. While i was running MSI Kombuster i noticed that at stock speeds that my card is 'GPU Throttling'. i have never noticed this before, but it seems to start happening as soon as Kombuster is started. I there an update i have missed or is this normal?

7970 lightning - displayport problem

I am attempting to hook the 7970 Lightning up to three NEC ex231w displays, with two mini DP to DP cables and one DP to DP cable with a mini DP adapter. When I use just Displayport cables, I get no picture on any of the displays. I am assuming Windows is booting (though I'm not sure), but I get something like "displayport not detected" on all three displays and then no picture.
However, when I use a DVI cable as one of the connections (along with two DP connections), I am able to get into Windows as usual, including setting up Eyefinity.
Is there something I need to enable in order to be able to use just Displayport connections?
Other details:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
AMD 12.3 CCC drivers
MSI 990fxa-gd65 (bios v19.5b4 from 11/28/2011)

R6970 Lightning Replacement Problems

Just got my replacement R6970 Lightning today & it seems to have a few problems...
1) Default Clock is @ 880 MHz, not 940 MHz
2) Flipping the switch from Silent mode to Performance mode yields a black screen on boot up.
3) Idle temps average 45-50 °C, Gaming temps while playing "The Stanley Parable" @ 1680x1050 & 1920x1200 windowed & fullscreen, got to 104 °C after 3 minutes, then the system shutdown. Same happened with other games. (used default & 100% manual fan settings, no difference)
BIOS Version: 013.011.000.010.000000 (113-xxx-xxx)
Case: Cooler Master Cosmos II
PSU : Antec HCP 1200W
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K @ 4.7 Ghz (Average temp 34 °C)
Average Room Temp: 72 °F
Any help would be appreciated.

HD 7970 Lightning BE - problem.

I've got HD 7970 Lightning Boosted Edition. After 1-2hour's of gaming the GPU shutdown the screen and it's black. The sound is still played and i can talk with friends over teamspeak. It happens almost on every game. The GPU temps are around ~65. How can i RMA it when facture is posted and i cant dig to it?

Nvidia 580GTX Lightning XE Problem

Hi guys,
Saw there was alot of topics on here but doesn't seem any solve my particular issue.
I seem to be having overheating of my card with very reasonable temperatures (I think), I have installed MSI Afterburner and can even run that on full fan to try cool it but still seems to overheat at around 50c and this below happens
I tested this using 1920 x 1080 test on FurMark as you can see it lasted 18 seconds before crashing completely
This used to run fine and I have tried official drivers from Nvidia, tried beta editions and tried from MSI's site itself but none seem to fix this issue so starting to think its a hardware problem. This was a very good running card for a while but now this happens near enough every time I play a game rendering my gaming pc useless!

Windows 7 x64 Pro
Intel Core i7 950
6.00GB of ram
Gigabyte x58-USB3 Motherboard
PRO-XFS 850w Power supply
SSD 256GB (Windows boot drive)

Lightning cable problems on iPad mini

The lightning cable for my granddaughter's new (Christmas present) iPad mini is blackened from arcing. The contacts on the cable show pitting under the blackened surface. It looks like the contact surface is arcing like a loose connection. The cable is not usable until the black is removed. Are the connection loose?

That does not sound normal. I suggest you take it to Apple and ask them to check it out for you.

MSI GTX 680 Lightning OC problem

Hi,
Im hoping i can find some help here. Im having this kind of problem: if i OC my card drivers will crash after few min of playing/benchmarking. Card is only stable with Pre OC setting. tested with 306.23 whql drivers and with 310.70 whql drivers.
Temps are fine about ~50c all to time. i have this "new" card and im using normal bios. Card is only 2 days old

Did your post mean for me? I was replying Zhoti's post and not yours .... Zhoti said he had unstable while adding +50mv and he didn't say about adding GPU volt so I assumed that he didn't add volt and I told him to add voltage no offence OK? Lightning cable problems

I have 3 lightning cables in my household; 2 that came with iPhone 5's and one that I bought at the Apple Store. Of the three, only one of them works properly!
One of the two broken ones doesn't work at all, and one of them works at a certain angle, but if it moves a little, charging stops. So, I was wondering, how do I go about getting these wires replaced? The two that broke are both ones that came with the iPhones, so I'd imagine they'd be covered under the 1-year warranty. Please advise.

MSI 7970 Lightning BE problem

Hello,
yesterday I received my MSI Ligthning, mounted it into my PC, boot and everything was fine...
I did some runs of Unigine Valley Benchmark, 3DMark Fire Strike benchmark, played a little bit to check if everything is fine and yes everything was fine...(by the way no more than 60c heat for the GPU).
But
after 2 hours, I was using Internet Explorer and suddenly my PC crashed with a kind of weird green screen... it was not possible to do anything, I had to reboot.
Unfortunately when I rebooted I saw some weird red dots in the displayed texts during the boot process... so I went into my mobo bios screen and saw here several red dotted lines accross the screen..
Anyway I tried to boot Windows with no success: after the splash screen I was not able to get the login screen... only a black screen...
I tried to dismount and mount again the card with no success.
I have the feeling my card is dead
By the way I tried to boot using the LN2 bios with no success (3 beeps).
My system is:
PSU Seasonic X650 (54amp +12v rail)
Mobo Asus P7P55D-E PRO
CPU i7 860 - 3.6GHz
8GB DDR3 GSkill
Windows 7 - x64
