I need to create an INDEX for TREX, so after going through various messages i found that it can be created form the Index Administration iView portal----System Administration -> Syetm Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Index Administration -> New Index
But iam not getting the above path in SPRO OR how to run Index Administration iView OR from which portal i need to create an INDEX??can anyone provide steps on how to go to System Administration -> Syetm Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Index Administration -> New Index

Regards.I'm not very familiar with CRM business partners, but the common way - to include the repository where the documents are stored to the KM using [CM Repository managers|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e3/923227b24e11d5993800508b6b8b11/frameset.htm].
You need first to create a repository manager for you repository and only then you'll be able to create an index.

Not getting Pop-Up for rejection in CRM Worklist
Hello all,
I am working on CRM workflows and we are on EHP 6 where for Generic User Decision Task we can give Justification as required or mandatory.
When I create a task with approve and reject buttons and make Rejection Reason as mandatory on Reject it works fine in SBWP inbox ,when I try to execute same from CRM Worklist I wont get the POP-UP to give rejection reason.
Please let me know how to get the popup for rejection in CRM worklist.Hi Lohit
I am not sure if note pop-up is available for CRM WebUi or even UWL. It's only for backend.
However, you can try note 1964571 - which is for similar functionality for Extended Notifications. Not sure if CRWebUI will call the same components and would analyze the additional parameters of SAP_WAPI_DECISION_READ.
Also, does CRM UI has the same XML config as for the UWL? if yes, then you can configure the XML to provide a popup for mandatory decision note.

Specifying coherence-cache-config.xml for multiple clusters

I am running two cache clusters (Cluster A and B that hold different cache types). we have a web application that needs to communicate with both the clusters. we have two coherence-cache-config-g.xml files, one for each cluster.
where do we specify the two coherence-cache-config.xml for each of these clusters in our coherence.jar that we deploy on the web app server.
pls provide some inputs...

You can define a path to the cache configuration descriptor in your operation configuration override file (tangosol-coherence=override.xml) or specify it in the system property "tangosol.coherence.cacheconfig".

Replicating Custom Fields for Products in CRM from ECC

I am having difficulty in replicating SAP standard field values from ECC to custom fields for products in CRM. This is what i did:
1. I created a new settype(ZMASTER_INFO) with a single attribute(ZIND_STD) and added
this new settype to MAT_HAWA. (As all our materials fall under this material type).
2. I am looking to map SAP standard field from ECC to this custom field of mine.
I wrote the code in CRM BADI

Since in ECC i am not having any custom fields i did not write any code in ECC for TPS34 and TBE24. I just wrote this BADI in CRM and using the field S_MARA-STD_DESCR.
I am not sure if i need to write the code in ECC. COUld anyone please confirm if i need the code in ECC?
Also in the CRM BADI, lt_cat_settype_rel_all is EMPTY. Not sure how this gets its value.
Could anyone please suggest if i am missing anything here? Any help is appreciated.

One more solution is to change the BDoc data content before it hit the Database.
this can be done in badi: Data_Exchange_badi (if u dont find this try with following search string: xchange)
In the above mention badi you will find a method which is used to populated the contend jst after bdoc in CRM is being populated by R/3 data.

Can we tun off Credit card valiation for BP in CRM
Hi all,
Customer is created in R/3 and his credit card has already expired. The R/3 system does not make any validation for credit card. The credit card is validated only when he places orders via credit card.
But when changes come into CRM, the CRM system validates the business partner and results in error as Credit card expired.
I found in one of the message that Tiest has said (to turn of email validation) checks are being executed thru configuration on filed groups. Simply turn it off and you should be ok.
Could Tiest or any one share how to disable credit card validation for customers in CRM.
I greatly appreciate the help provided through this forum.

I removed the FM from the table in SPRO\SAP Web Application Server\Cross application settings\Payment cards\basic settings\assign checking rules?
Since this was removed and in the next configuration
SPRO\SAP Web Application Server\Cross application settings\Payment cards\basic settings\Maintain Payment card type (step2)
The checking rule was there it result in a new error , checking rule '001' does not exist.
Now any idea of how to solve the problem.

It's not supported to delete Business Partners in CRM (Web- or PC-UI). You can just flag obsolete or redundant Business Partners for archiving.
However there is the transaction BUPA_DEL you can use in order to delete BPs.

How to extract values from pricing procedure for conditions in CRM Billing?
I have a number of conditions in the pricing procedure in CRM Billing that I would like to extract to SAP BW. How can this be done?
Is there a standard extractor for CRM Billing similar to the SD Billing extractor "Extraction of SD Billing Conditions" (2LIS_13_VDKON)?
If there is no standard extractor, is there another way to extract the conditions and the related values?
I am using the standard CRM Billing Extractor 0BEA_CRMB already, so maybe an append could solve my problem. How can this be done? In what CRM-tables can I find the values from pricing procedure for conditions in CRM Billing?you may want to post that last question in a CRM forum... in ECC it would be table KONV

I've a requirement wherein I need to hide one of the links in the startup pages for the internal candidates. I have made the necessary configuration settings . Also , defined "WDCONFIGURATIONID" parameter for the "hrrcf_a_startpage_int_cand". But its not picking up the config id for the application. Please guide me if I'm missing something.

I am trying to create a web application that uses AD LDS as its authentication provider. I have followed all the steps and verified all the web.config files, but I receive the error below:
Cannot get Membership Provider with name CustomRoleProvider. The membership provider for this process was not properly configured. You must configure the membership provider in the .config file for every SharePoint process.
Has anyone come across this error before?There seems to be some issues in your web.config files. Please make sure your Web application entries for membership and role provider(at central admin site) are matching with Web.config entries. your error

", indicating that you may have used role provider name in Membership provider text box or in web.config.
Also please make sure that you have correct entries in all 3 web.config files - Central Administration , Security Token Service (STS), Web application .

1) Scheduling Agreement is a long term agreement and PO is normally a one-off. When you have long term relation with supplier you will go with SA.
2) SA need not have delivery schedules at the time of ordering. It's like a contract with vendor for all basic prices, quantities & terms. You will release schedules as & when required. This method is very popular with manufacturing ind (e.g. automotive) where they negotiate prices but delivery schedules are given periodically based on their actual production/sales demands.
3) In a PO, you must give schedules in PO itself.
4) If you know contract & release order (or call-off) concept, then SA is like contract and SA schedule is like release order. PO is release order.

While using schedule agreement, you will create delivery schedule, when ever you require materials.
Firm and trade off zone in delivery schedule details will be forwarded to your vendor. you can create daily , weekly , monthly schedule lines
Example : if you have created a schedule agreement for product " A " for quantity 1000, and you require material of 100 nos in the first month, you can create schedule line for this 100 only and this will be transmitted to vendor( if you are using LPA you have to release schedule line). when ever you require further qty based on your requirement you will create another delivery schedule line, then it will be transmited to vendor.
In case of PO if you are ordering 1000 qty , you need to specify the delivery date in Purchase order it self, and all the dates are immediately transmited to vendor along with Purchase order.
